Wow...the service department is extremely shady in my opinion. I came in due to my 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid rattling and driving very rough. Thinking it was a transmission issue I was relieved to hear it was a coil. I was told the coil and plug needed to be replaced along with a tune-up for $820. I was surprised to see how little work was done in thetune-up for my $820. Just to double check I called around to three local shops and North County ford, the highest quote I got was under $300....it was really $260. Stephen at Ken Grody explained to me it required 5.3 hrs of labor. at $117/hr and their normal rate was $180/hr. No other repair shop gave me a quote for more then 1hr. Stephen claimed it took them 1.5 hrs to diagnose the issue.....should have been a simple computer diagnostic but even adding that in its way off. 2.5hrs to replace the spark plugs, 1 hr for injector flush. I was even told when I dropped it off that the $100 would be applied to the bill.

Theres a lot of waste occurring at the Service Area. You have a Tech to greet you, another one to drive it maybe 10 feet, and yet another Tech to put paper on the seat and floor board to drive it into the Service Area. I only noticed this because it took them 45 min to bring my truck out. No one came out to check on me and keep me updated. Time to become more efficient Ken Grody Ford.
There was a recall on my vehicle. Yes, its older. However, I made an appt 2 weeks ago for a reason. So they could order the part. 2 weeks. Dropped it off and they said that had to order the part. We all knew that the part needed to be ordered. Hence the appt that was made 2 weeks. Anyways, the sloppiness of how this was handled blows my mind. Very disorganized. Definitely disappointed how this was handled.

Criminals! Plain and simple. Criminal behavior on two different visits! I can prove this but it is best not to waste time fighting criminals. Save your money and sanity and just avoid them!
