The owner there was super nice and helpful. It was fun to go into a candy store when I havent been there in forever
Bacon and maple taffy. That’s it. That’s my whole review.
This was my husband and I first time coming here and all I have to say is how wonderful the store is. They had a great selection of taffy with reasonable prices. I went a little over board and bought 4 pounds of taffy but, I from Colorado where it’s not common to find a good place to get salt water taffy. When ever I travel to California this will be one of the must stops.
So many delicious flavors! Fun for the whole family!
Great selection! Tasty! You definitely get what you pay for.
Closed 3 minutes early and couldn’t care less that we drove there just for this store. Sad.
This place is dope, went to copp some salt taffy and did just that, shoutout vincent for being chill
Great place good bargains
Best selection of taffy ever! Over 75 flavors!!! New owners as of February 1, 2015. Now have more than just taffy. . Yummy fudge, Caramel Corn, Jelly Bellies, Peanut Brittle, Gummies! Now have a large seletion of beach toys and gifts. What a fun store and so close to the beach.
Great location little pricey though.
The taffy itself is amazing, but the selection is even better! Had trouble picking a favorite, but the raspberry lemonade is the one for me.
A really diverse selection of taffy. 18 for $3, 35 for $6 or 70ish for $12. In otherwords about $12 per pound.
44 cents? Was it worth it???? If I could give you 0 stars I would!!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE do not support this store!!!Today we went to Capitola. We go there as often as possible as this is one of our favorite places. Every time we go we visit the Taffy Store. It is one of the highlights of our visit. Today my 14 year old went to the store before us. He went in for the sample which we have always done. He went purposefully to his favorite taffy, got his sample and then started to leave. He then decided that he would bring one piece for his two little brothers back at the beach, which he has done before. He was not sneaky and made no attempt to hide what he was doing. He knows that we ALWAYS go in, get samples and by a big bag on our way home. As he was walking out of the store, an old lady with short black hair called him back. He did not run. She proceeded to tell him that he was to sit and wait for the police. She called them because he had stolen 3 pieces of taffy. He tried to explain what he was doing but she would not let him speak. When the police officer showed up she actually wanted to press charges for 44 cents worth of taffy. She would not listen to him explain what he was doing. He did not see the NO SAMPLES sign. Even the police officer said the he really did not think he did anything wrong. My son was polite and respectful during his ordeal. Which was also noted by the officer. We go to Capitola about 30 times a year. We have in the past spent at least $10 a visit at this store. So I ask again; Was it worth it??? We will never go back. I will post this on my Facebook account and spread this story to everyone who will listen.
Lots and lots of different taffy flavors
