Very clean facility, the staff is extremely helpful. The optometrist was very good, helping me to update my prescription for mono-vision contact lenses. The ordering process was made as easy as possible, with the associate being knowledgeable of what my insurance covered, which discounts and specials I was eligible to use, and discerning how to optimize my benefits for the best cost savings. They have a nice selection of frames as well.

Without providing my previous prescription, Dr. Foster found an exact match for my glasses and contacts prescription within minutes. Phaedra was fun to talk to, gave us her honest opinions on our frame selections, and was just overall super helpful and down-to-earth.20/20, would get eyes checked again.

My name is Daniel B i rate it three and a half stars the persons who does the eye test and the dr who does the exam was wonderfull and they derserve 5 stars but the people who handles the glasses part of vision works only get 2 and a half because they wont work out any kind of plan you want on the frame you want so if you got insurance you might as well saying your buying trash..

I absolutely LOVE Visionworks! The Dr. Is REALLY nice and she actually listens to me and answered all my questions and the staff is also just beyond amazing, they all help you if you need it and I definitely did and one of the staff took about 45 minutes with me to find my glasses that I really wanted and they have so so so many glasses hence why it took about 45 minutes. But my experience every time I go there is wonderful and I will continue to go there and I always refer my family and friends to go there if they need an eye exam, glasses or contacts. So overall Visionworks is (to me) is THE VERY BEST... like I said before the doctor she is just so professional, nice, very helpful and she takes her time with you. She actually cares about your concerns and the staff is so so helpful and they have the MOST glasses in Cape Gir. They have soooo many which I love but it makes it hard to make a decision...I just went there yesterday and I wanted like eight pairs but unfortunately I could only get two...But again their glasses selection is amazing and SO BIG, SOOOO MANY PAIRS! I suggest you go there not only will you get great help from the staff but the doctor is very professional and she actually cares about her patients which you dont find that very often. So, I most CERTAINLY would check it out, thats for sure!!! Youll not only be happy that you did but you will be satisfied completely I do believe. OH AND THEY DO MAKE YOU WEAR MASKS!! When you walk in they give you a new mask and they also take your temperature and ask you a few questions before you can even be seated let alone seen... its mandatory you wear a mask while youre there PERIOD!

I dont know what doctors office in the Cape Girardeau area that is Allowing anyone not to wear a mask... If you were really on the up and up, you would know that YES Cape Girardeau County may have lifted the mask mandate, But they have HIGHLY RECOMMENDING WEARING A MASK!!! You cannot blame the girls there for doing their jobs. If corporate says mask are required then yes mask are required.They have jobs and rules to follow. The staff here is super helpful and very sweet and would go out of their way to help any of their patients.

At first when I went to Visionworks, I was a little frustrated. I waited over an hour to be seen, and when the doctor called my name, another customer decided he was going to take my place instead. But, the folks at the front were so kind and fun to be around that I can’t say I had a bad time at all. Even spending so much time in there, Phaedra and Alana were so wonderful and easy to talk to that I had a great afternoon regardless.

Extremely friendly staff and amazing work done! Honestly one of the easiest and pleasant experiences Ive ever had at an optometrist office. I will strongly recommend to all that are searching, to go here for all of their eye care needs.

I was able to get appointment within 24hrs which is absolutely awesome considering its a 3-5 mth wait elsewhere.

Rude and unhelpful staff. We waited for a months to have contacts deliver to address. And when it didn’t come we visited store to check what’s wrong. To our surprise store said parcel was not delivered due wrong address... which is completely unacceptable. And even after the parcel was with them they didn’t bother to call us to pickup them. I mean why the hell we fill our details when we go there for eye checkup? Where those details go? Will not recommend to anyone.

I had the worst experience here! I purchased sunglasses with my prescription in it and the lady told me the shipment is free. But they just put two stamps on it and it cost more than that. So I ended up paying $4.9 for shipment myself. I called them but they said wait until their manager call me back, which never happened. Customer service here is horrible! Do not recommend and would NEVER come back here again!

Purchased Digital transition lenses. Lines started appearing in my lens so I took them back as it was, per Visionworks, a manufacturer defect in the lenses. Received my replacement and a couple months later, same thing. Well now I am over my warranty period by one month. Took my glasses back in and was told since my warranty was up I would have to purchase new lenses. After a little fuss I left my glasses with them for their manager to look at. I called about four business days later, as I had not received a call back. I was put on hold and after about fifteen minutes they hung up. I call right back and was hung up on again. I never raised my voice or expressed any frustration to this point. Third call was told manager was out for that day and they have not had a chance to look at them. The next day I called back and was told the manager was out for lunch and they would call me back when she returned. NOTHING!! Called the next day, manager was out for the day. Called the next day and was told the manager was on vacation for the week. I demanded resolution and was told since my warranty had expired I would have to buy new lenses. In my opinion, they are knowingly selling lenses with known defects. Keep in mind these are $700.00 lenses!!

The service and eye exam on that day was great. Disappointed no micro cloth picking up new glasses. The female worker was very rude when I mentioned no cloth. I will look for business elsewhere due to lack of customer service after the sale.

I cant even begin to explain everything wrong with this store. Theyre clearly unorganized, unhelpful, and rude. Overall bad experience personally. My friend also went here before me and it took them 6 months to finally tell her why she didnt get her trial contacts after evading her questions and being completely unhelpful for those 6 months. We will not be coming back and do not recommend this place to anyone. The few workers that make the experience ok are awesome but the rest is just awful.

Ive been there a couple of times and also with my sister...they have always been fast bout getting u in and taking care of u,always has been less than an hour,love that with having a busy life!!!!!And all the workers are great and personable!!!!

Got new eye glasses the same day at a reasonable price!

Didnt have the trial lenses for me to verify proper prescription. I was told to come back and get them in a week or two, they didnt have them for over a month. I stopped checking, whenever I gave up on waiting and just ordered the prescription I was given, they were wrong. So I looked up my records for the past 8 years, and yes they were off. Instead of sticking to their word and listening to my report of the prescription, they want to charge again for a refitting. I offered to show my prescription for the past 8 years, and it didnt matter. Theres a reason Walmart and online sales do much better in situations like this. I have insurance, so it isnt a money issue, this is a hassle that is unnecessary. My family of 5 and I will not bother with Visionworks of Cape Girardeau. Anyone that seeks recommendations on eye care will be warned of this situation.It was a simple problem, too bad there wasnt a simple solution.
