I have absolutely no issue with Kay as a company. But I have had nothing but trouble with the staff at this location. Between ordering my wife’s ring several months ago and now again with my ring. They only care about new customers bringing in new money not current customers with existing orders. We had to order my ring online due to it not being it stock. It was supposed to immediately be sent out for sizing but is still at the store after four days. They have an excuse every day about being too busy or short staffed. I was told if I had bought it in the store I wouldn’t have this issue, as if it’s my fault, when they didn’t have my ring in stock to begin with. This is the third day in a row I was promised it will be shipped out. But now instead of two weeks for sizing it’s all of the sudden three weeks.

The people who work there is just amazing! Almost one year ago my wife and I bought our wedding rings and they were delightful, caring and friendly, showing us genuine interest and many option in whiting our budget. Today we went again and they cleaned up our rings, with the same charisma and detailed. Kay and Chris are great!

My husband and I bought my wedding band at this store about 10 months ago. We looked at various stores and this Kay Jewelers was the first place where the employees were nice to us despite our limited budget. Employees at other stores tried to convince us that we should spend more money on rings or obviously looked down on us for spending so little. The people at Kay Jewelers have been wonderful: kind, professional, and engaging. Christopher helped us clean our rings today (he even cleaned my husbands ring from another store!) and assistant manager Mika did a great customer service review. Thank you for your kindness!

I had the most amazing experience at this Kay jewelers! Sarah was absolutely amazing, she helped me find a beautiful wedding ring the fit my wants and needs. Also while checking out we ran into some trouble and rod helped us out what a great guy. All around the whole atmosphere is welcoming and they all truly care about you walking out of their store happy! We were at Kay jewelers today trying to get weddings rings and a band and me and fiancé’s savings account were having issues with it being locked up how our account works with the purchases. The team was so helpful the whole time with the whole process with helping us find what we want and being so nice and generous especially Rod which actually was willing to pay the rest of our remaining balance just so we could get the deal on there diamond showing day. What great guy and all around team there. One of my best experiences with any establishment all together!!!

Went looking for the impossible and was able to find it. Bought my wedding ring and band 5 years ago but waited for the other band for the opposite side of the ring, big mistake at the time. That piece is hard to find years later.It was a group effort by Eric, Rod and Christine to find this needle in a haystack but it happened. Couldn’t be more happy and impressed! Thanks! My ring did not look exactly like the original one purchased, they said it could be fixed although the worker wasnt confident it could be done. when the ring came back a second time the original issue was fixed although now was missing a stone, they told me due to being a special order all they could do was take the ring back and give me a refund. The worker was nice although for the price I paid for the ring to have so many issues was disheartening. I cant say I will ever shop again at Kays

I cant thank Eric enough! I had bought a bridal band set last September that wasnt actually meant for my engagement ring thinking it was my only option as the actual set was discontinued! The Kay Jewelers in Beldon village in Canton, Ohio is the best. The store manager Rodd took such good care of myself and my husband. I lost my engagement ring and was looking to purchase a new one. He took a lot of time to help me find my perfect ring that is just as close and better than my previous ring. He excels in time management, customer service and professionalism. We have been two other Kay Jewelers locations and did not have the same experience. We will drive the 45 minutes to the Canton location for our future purchases.

Take our jewelry in for the inspection, not 24hrs later a thin part in the ring snaps...spend $3,000 on a bracelet for it to break just a week later. Service quality is horrible. Seems like the quality has gone down hill since they went from JBR to Kays. I dont know if its just Kays themselves or its the generation theyre hiring when it comes to poor customer service. No one there currently is properly trained on jewelry inspection. If you try to address an issue with the day shift manager, she loves to try to talk over you. Unfortunately everything Ive gotten is from JBR. Never once dealt with Kays and now that Kays bought out JBR I Unfortunately have no choice. Unfortunately when it comes to Kays, its nothing but a headache. Reevaluate your employees!

My situation was very unusual to say the least. I was in the store over a year ago and the ring I bought had a slight flaw in it. I took it back and returned it. Rod was completely understanding of this and said to come back and he would help me out. Over a year later I came back with my fiance and not only did he help us he remembered me! He took the time to really make up for the initial ring, and work through multiple options for us to get the best deal. I never write reviews but for this experience I will. I wanted to thank ROD for all his help. He helped my son get a engagement ring with ease. He was extremely knowledgeable about the company diamonds and the company. Rod was very polite and walk us through step by step from warranties to the 6 month inspections. He even even shared several stories about his family and how he proposed to his wife. Providing some ideas for my son.Overall WE are extremely satisfied customers. I HIGHLY recommend this store. I believe ROD is one of the managers currently there. I live in Columbus but was in the Akron/Canton area over the weekend and happened to go into the Kay Jewelers store just to kill time. (I always buy jewelry from the Diamond Cellar in Columbus). I am not an easy target, as I am in sales myself, but ended up purchasing a pair of diamond earrings for my wife. The gentlemens name who greeted me was Daniel and he could not have been more professional, informative and attentive. (I was greeted by everyone in the store, within 10 minutes of being in there). I told him I was probably going to buy my wife earrings for Christmas once back in Columbus but I would look at what he had to offer. He showed me three different pair and I ended up buying a 1ct pair for much less than I would have spent at my local jewelers. Beautiful earrings, great service, great price. Dropped my engagement ring off and was told it would pretty much take three weeks just to resize. When I called almost two weeks later letting them know that we had something come up and was wounding if there was anyway to put a rush on it after being sent out. I was told “no” and that I would just have to wait until the expected date I was originally told then continued to let me know that they hold jewelry there for up to six months. Had no care to try to reach out to the “service” place to try and see if there was anything that could have been done. She just simply push it aside and told me that there is nothing she could do. I talk to a different location(still Kay’s) and they said that they could send in a message and ask for my ring to be rushed but I would have to go threw the location I had dropped it off at. Needless to say SHE JUST DIDNT WANNA DO HER JOB!

I bought a one carat certified diamond ring with an enhancer ring the end of Nov. 2016 at the Belden Village location. They were both sent out to be sized to a 5.75. The solitaire came back a size 3 and the enhancer was a 5.75. The error was not discovered until I went to pick them up. The solitaire was sent out again to be re-sized and came back correct the second time. Fast forward six weeks. I took the rings to the Zanesville location to have the rings soldered together. Two weeks later, the ring came back a size 5 (and went in as a 5.75)! Needless to say, I was upset. It was sent out AGAIN and three weeks later, the ring came back wrong again! At this point in time, I informed them that I wanted my money back and I did not want the ring. This problem was escalated to above store level and the original sales person (Asst manager at Belden at the time) called me at home when she heard about the problem, which was in March. She contacted the manager at Belden (Dan) and they offered to work with me on a resolution because they wanted me to be satisfied with a ring and Kay Jewelers. This was a two-month process and they worked very hard to make this customer happy. I finally got my ring on May 13, almost 6 months after the original purchase. I now have a beautiful one carat Tolkowsky diamond solitaire with an enhancer. Very happy customer!

Worse service ever! Went there to get wedding band an expensive one at that (custom made). Promised a date it would be done and back, promised that it could be done and then called two weeks later to tell me it would be an extra $500 and a month and a half longer. Asked to have my engagement ring back, because they took it to match what I wanted. Keep saying it will be back a certain day but when I call, no ring!! Horrible!! That is all I can say!!

I’ve been a customer at this specific store for 6 years (Kay’s for many more years than that) ... it’s never been great but bearable until the purchase of my wedding set. They have ruined my wedding set and are so non chalant as if it’s no big deal... their answer is to keep sending it out and every time it comes back worse than before... Horrible customer service. I could write a story on how bad their service is, but Ill leave it at this.....simply put, we had an engagement ring sauldered into a wedding band. When we got it back, 3 days before the wedding, it didnt fit! The lady at the store wrote the wrong size down prior to being sent out and then when I told them they need to make this right because we never asked to get anything resized, she said it would take another 2 weeks. How horrible! Especially for a company who prides themselves as being wedding central. Needless to say, I went to a local Jeweler who was more than willing to resize it for me and I got it back the next day. It fit perfect and was ready for the wedding and honeymoon. I cancelled my account with Kays and I will never be going back. Like I said, I could write a book about how bad this company is, but this was the tipping point for me. There is one great person who works here and if it wasnt for him, I prob never would have bought the rings here. He is a great salesman and great person at heart. He was not involved with any of these situations that occurred because he was off work at the time. I know if we were dealing with him, none of this would have happened.

Terrible..... (2) Weddings rings later, one to replace the original because the diamonds kept falling out of the 1st one.. Now the 2nd wedding ring which we paid close to $10k for has been returned on (3) separate occassions.. The manager is always at the root of these transactions and makes promises to calm youi about your situation, then doesnt follow thru... Very Unhappy...
