Absolutely love this place especially their chicken salad and of course their ice cream. They are one of the few places that I get the cotton candy ice cream, it is so good! Love meeting clients their for tea or lunch!

Got the Blue Moon ice cream which was super creamy and tasted just like fruit loops! Super yummy, new fav ice cream flavor!

This place is my favorite ice cream shop ever! They offer cooked meals and other desserts also, but the ice creams are amazing. I recommend the coffee with espresso bits, or if its Autumn the bats in the belfry,There are dairy free options if you dont eat milk, sometimes, as well as sugar free.Note ; they charge different for card and cash.

Staff is always so friendly and wonderful to their customers. My son loves the variety of ice cream choices too! Highly recommend to anyone local to Hickory Flat or Macedonia!

Food was good and the owners are very friendly and helpful. They are suffering from an employee shortage as many other restaurants are but this husband and wife team goes the extra mile to provide a pleasant experience. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is very clean and feels safe. Plenty of free parking is available and the location is conveniently located in the Publix plaza at hwy140 and East Cherokee drive.

Ordered a pricey pint of cheese spread online. $13.79. Tried to check out but it made me pick a choice between a sleeve of crackers and something even more expensive. The sleeve of crackers was 2.79. Was buying for someone else or else I would have canceled. This is an incredibly sleazy business practice to tack on extra charge like this.

Not worth it at all. Every time Ive been theres some hassle. Ive dealt with some rude employees. They ask what side you want, but sides are listed nowhere. They ask what kind of chips you want, without the options being listed or told to you. The food takes forever for sandwiches or burgers. Like a crazy long time, when its not even busy. And there are a lot of people in the kitchen. The food is certainly not worth the wait. The side of a small thing of cheese and a couple of crackers is a joke.

Fast and friendly service. Very clean restaurant. Their chicken salad is the best I’ve had!!!! Their spaghetti is not like traditional spaghetti and is another of my favorites!!!! Highly recommend!

Never reviewed a restaurant before but my experience deserves to be known.I ordered chicken and dumplings. There was not ONE dumpling in this tepid bowl of chicken goop - flour roue with some chicken added. When I went to the counter to ask where were the dumplings, they just shrugged their shoulders. My friend ordered a turkey sandwich. She got two pieces of deli turkey between dry bread, that was it! When a worker walked by and she ask where mayo, etc. was on the sandwich, she said if you wanted anything on your sandwich you were supposed to ask for it when you ordered. More, but I will stop here.Probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life and Im in my sixties.

Service was wonderful, atmosphere was very nice and the food was pretty good, too! Their loaded potato salad is soooo good! They have a nice variety of food so theres something for everyone!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Canton. I booked their event room for my daughters bridal shower and it was PERFECT!!! The service is unmatched..Glenda is who I coordinated with and from the first time speaking with her, she went above and beyond to make things perfect!!! She took care of everything, stayed in contact with me, and made the day so easy. They supplied the food and the cake and it was so good!! Would recommend over and over again!!

They have coffee, gluten free options for those of us who need. The cashier was friendly, if not overly talkative. The place was clean and the soup was good. The ice cream and sweets are great, my daughter loves the cookie dough ice cream. The place is in need of an update, but that is easily overlooked. Places like this are gems in small town america. Locally owned, a small friendly business with solid options.

The cheese spread here is something we always order - especially at the holidays! People love it. I love their paninis and fudge! Used to go here when I was in high school and recently moved back 15 years later and it is still just as good. Nostalgic

Im really picky about my chicken salad sandwiches but I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. WOW, is the only word that comes to my mind. I got the honey wheat bread for my sandwich. The slight sweetness of the bread complemented the chicken salad perfectly. The walnuts, grapes, and celery gave the chicken salad a nice pop with the different textures and flavors. I ended up ordering a pint to go for my husband to try.{This is a honest opinion and I do not have any affiliations with the owners or their staff.}

Glenda and Frank make our experience feel like we are visiting family. Our Grandkids cant wait to visit for ice cream so we go to Frosty Frog before we stop at home. I will take a quart of the delicious down to them in Atlanta quite regularly. As a ice cream expert I feel it is one of the very best and Ive visited a lot of stores in my lifetime. Their lunch menu has a wonderful variety of items from something light, soup and salad, to a heavier menu, baked spaghetti. A MUST place to visit

I loved the idea of this place. The deserts are amazing! However, the food is something you should avoid. Not that it was bad food, but that it was very small portions and an extreme price. My 9.5 dollar sandwich came with cheese and crackers as a side... it was 2 maybe 3 crackers and a tiny spoon full of cheese. Again, sweets are awesome, food is lacking.

So much potential! Food is satisfying but has a snack lunch at your friends house when they need to go grocery shopping vibe. The menu is huge, so theres something for everyone. Unfortunately the ambiance is seriously lacking, with questionable decor. It feels like school cafeteria meets NY deli meets grandmas house. That being said, Ill continue to support & recommend this place because I really want to love it, and Hickory Flat needs more small family owned businesses!

I was in Canton yesterday and was delighted to try the Frosty Frog. The tuna melt was amazing and so was the service. It’s off the beaten path but so worth it. We will definitely be back. It has a Norman Rockwell vibe. If you want to experience a real treat, visit them!!

I love Frosty Frog‘s ice cream, but I’ll probably eat their chicken salad sandwich most often and I love the cheese spread to give us with the crackers.

My experience at Frosty Frog made this dark, rainy morning warm & bright! Popped in for a most delicious caramel almond milk latte, perfectly crafted by polite and attentive Peyton. Half the price of chain across the street. Also tried the egg quesadilla served piping hot with cold salsa on the side. Hit the spot! Looking over the amazing desserts reminded me to order an additional surprise for our Thanksgiving meal. Customer service there is fantastic. Many smiling patrons. Shop local!

The restaurant feels a little dated and the food was decent. I wouldnt say the price matched the quality. The ice cream, however, was on point. It was definitely a high point. The cashiers seemed uninterested in their job, but they did a good job.

The male owner took my order. I asked him lots of questions about the place and food. He was able to answer all of them and was very nice and accommodating with my food when I couldnt choose which one to eat. I had first came there about a week ago. This was my third visit in a week. Food was delicious

You can get better tasting items from Walmart. The atmosphere is nothing special either. Just a big concrete building. Was hoping for more. This is just my opinion, if you are in the mood for some ice cream then they are worth a try. You may like it better then I did.

I love having a local restaurant to gather with friends. Sometimes I’m just having lunch with one friend, but frequently I’m in a large group and they always accommodate us. Fabulous lunch fare - I love their quiche but get tempted away from my usual with their paninis!

Great place for lunch, take-out, dinner or to host an event. I never really cared for chicken salad until I had theirs. Now I am hooked on it. Their cheese spread is great and their cakes are excellent. I used their meeting room to host a bridal shower and they were great. Fantastic service, great food and friendly servers.

The food is always great! The staff are nice. I enjoy eating here. Do wish the trays were not Styrofoam but instead a hard material that could be washed between using.

We waited a long, long time for just iced coffee. One kid working was so nice but obviously new and had no idea what he was doing, didnt even know how to make an iced coffee or what flavors they had or anything; the other employees just left him alone at the counter to figure it all out. I didnt get names but the sweet kid looked really young, maybe 16 or 17, and he was tall and skinny. The one that I tried to take an order from was a young guy too, brown hair and stocky and a little bit chubby, maybe a little above average height. He acted like a manager but Im not sure; I hope he wasnt because he just left the young kid alone at the counter and wouldnt take our order, then just walked around cleaning stuff for whatever reason. We were initially going to get dessert too but decided against it because we were worried about overwhelming the poor new kid. Its possible we caught them on a bad day, and also it was only an hour from closing time.

I had the take out. The counter server was very pleasant and made sure that my order was perfect with no surprises. This is the best chicken salad I have ever had.

I held a baby shower in their Events Room. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Glenda took care of everything from menu suggestions to what type of decoration for the cake. It was such an enjoyable experience. I highly highly recommend the Frosty Frog whether for a lunch or an event. You will be very happy with the service and the quality of the food!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We visit quite frequently as a family as well as with our friends while out in our morning ministry work. Often we look for places to take breaks and enjoy a snack or lunch. Frosty Frog is always at the top of our list. As an establishment that’s always clean, friendly with good food and service we will continue to visit here.

Good home made ice cream. Staff is helpful and mostly friendly. Supervisor roles her eyes when new staff members have questions.

Love the frequent rotation of ice cream flavors. Quality consistency in meals is what makes you a favorite of ours.

Can i nominate this place for a Ramsey make over? Staff are unenthusiastic. The decor is drear. As a new customers, along with the other 2 families behind me, when none of the employees smile or help with your menu questions i find myself asking- why am i here? It seems like this place had a heyday, but its long gone from what i can tell.

I have eaten here numerous times and each time has been an awesome experience. The food is great....so full of flavor and just really yummy! Great sandwiches, salads and much more! I was a bit underwhelmed upon entering this store. I ordered only an espresso, but this espresso was especially strong, it was very powdery and chalky, and the coffee used tasted burnt. I have had many an espresso, and I havent quite felt the need to gag on this before. I also was hoping for a dairy free ice-cream option, but there were none. I wanted to sit down and relax when I heard about the lounge area, but upon looking at the outdated decor, the fluorescent lighting, and feeling the freezing AC... I decided to make my way out the door. The only redeeming factor about this store was the very polite service provided by the young lady working the front desk. Frosty Frog, time for a makeover!

I havent been in a while, but I remember 2 distinct things:1. GREAT ice cream with unique flavors and a plethora of options including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices, and a range of types of frozen treats (like frozen yogurt, ice cream, dairy free frozen treats, etc)2. I only went once because they charge insane prices for things like a ham sandwich.

Frosty Frog is my favorite place to meet with family and friends. Its easy to visit when you dont have all the background noise of some restaurants. I always love the food and find the employees friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly, honesty nothing else great about this place. Its a bit ran down. The food is not on par at all. I have no idea what they are doing serving the mini pickles on a tooth pick. Tuna salad way too much mayo, Turkey wrap the worst Ive had anywhere. Salty turkey one piece amongst a ton of lettuce. The place could really use an update on the menu and the decor.

Awesome ice cream in the chicken salad is amazing. I was extremely disappointed though when I went to pick up chicken salad to go that I waited almost 15 minutes to get a tub of pre prepare chicken salad. I understand that they were fairly busy, but it was simply pulling a pint container out of refrigerator and I still waited 15 minutes.

Both the service and for are always a delight! Definitely enjoy having this neighborhood gem so close!

Great family owned restaurant. Having a meal or just stopping in for one of the many flavors of made in house ice cream the food is excellent.

I recently acquired a job application to the frosty frog. I am a 16 year old male. I filled out the entire application and on the following day I returned to hand it in the the lady at the counter. I was then told, and I quote we dont hire guys. Nowhere in the application did it say I had to be a female to work there, I was not only untold of the requirement of being a female upon receiving the application but was then denied work because of my gender. Does that not spell discrimination??? I think so.
