After a HORRIBLE experience with Ashley Furniture we decided to try here. Heard the ads on the radio that its worth the trip out to Canandaigua and it really is. They are a small family run furniture store with an incredible selection. No pressure and when you need help you get someone who really knows furniture and willing to show you around and explain anything you ask about. Never felt pressured and bought a beautiful kitchen table set and a couple sofas. Come to find out it was Bill Lynch who showed us around! They are great people and youll fine what you want here. Ill never go anywhere else.

Always a great experience and fun trip down to Canandaigua. Matt Lynch is very knowledgeable and patient. Rather than rushing a sale, he takes time to ensure that we will be happy with our purchases. We are well-pleased with the quality of furniture that we have purchased here.

DO NOT buy from this company. Despite the “folksy”, friendly sounding radio ads, they and by they I’m mean the owner, do NOT stand behind their products. My wife and I have purchased numerous furniture pieces from Lynch’s over the years and when we had a problem with a loveseat we had recently purchased, we got ZERO support.I spoke directly with the owner, you know, “the guy whose name is on the door” and he had no interest whatsoever in working through this situation with me. Additionally, he had little concern that he was losing a long time customer who has spent thousands of dollars with him. The manufacturer of the love seat and sofa we purchased, had gone out of business. That was his bottom line answer. He then asked me, “What do you expect me to do?!” I responded, “I expect you to have this repaired and bear the cost.” He quickly said he would not. I told him that he doesn’t stand behind his products and he refuted that but his inaction relative to my concern was a clear example of NOT standing behind your products and HORRIBLE customer service.When I told him I would no longer buy anything from him and would encourage people to do likewise, his flippant response was, “Do what you’ve gotta do.”Again, I share this as a heads up that while the selection is good and they deliver for free, if you have an issue down the road, you are S.O.L.!!! Buyer beware….

Nice people, thats where it ends. We were looking to buy 2 recliner chairs. No stock, they would have to order and delivery would be anywhere between 6months to 1 year.

Furniture and selection are great but after the purchase has been horrible. We pur purchased a couch combo the first week of January and five months later we still have nothing after we were told it was a 6-8 week lead time at the time of purchase. I understand that is out of their control but everything we call to get a status update we get we will look into it and call you back Any guesses how many calls we have gotten back??? Yep zero. For all we know the supplier lost our order and we will never get our couch and we will still get crickets from Lynchs. All this after we put down more than a $1000 deposit on the order.This really is a shame because purchase customer service was excellent. After the order though has been horrendous to deal with.

We have had purchased any items for our new apartment 4 years ago. We stated we wanted very firm cushions at the time, well that is NOT what we received and not only that, the five foam cushions had CARDBOARD IN BETWEEN, what terrible quality. I call Old Man Lynch and FROM HIS MOUTH said bring them back and he would fix them, his idea was you guessed it MORE DAMN HEAVY CARDBOARD.....please save your money are use a reputable furniture store.

I have been wanting a Lazy-Boy recliner for a long time and I promised myself the next time Lynch Furniture had their sale I would get one. I was fortunate to have Mr. John Lynch wait on me. He was very honest and helped me to pick out the right chair for my needs. (With my bad knees and shoulders). I needed to get a power recliner because of my torn cuff and bad shoulder I couldnt operate the manual chairs. Lynch Furniture promised were correct, I got free deliver, and set up, and no interest for a year, and my choice of colors on my chair. The delivery times window that I was given was spot on. John Lynch called me himself and said my chair would arrive between 10:15 &1:pm. And they arrived at 11:00. Also the drivers had also called me when they were 10 minutes away. And now 2 weeks later, Im loving my new chair. Almost every time I get settled in my chair, I find myself napping. I love the chair so much. I will be back to get more chairs and other Furniture. Thank Lynch Furniture!

I ordered a twin bed, dresser and nightstand from Lynch furniture. I did my research on the website and ordered it over the phone, so I never went into the store. Bill and John were both very easy to work with and very professional making sure to double check what I wanted to order and calling me when the furniture came in. The furniture came in great condition and the delivery guys were very friendly! I would definitely buy from Lynch furniture again!

Highly recommend! We purchased furniture at Lynch recently and were very pleased. The service in the store was unobtrusive but excellent. We thought we had a minor problem with our chairs and the owner John was very polite and quick to send someone to our house to resolve the issue. When we need new furniture in the future, Lynch will be the first place we go.

We recently purchased two swivel rockers from Lynch Furniture and it has been a great experience. One of the rocker bases made noise when my husband sat down. I called John Lynch and he immediately said that he would make it right. He sent a man to ascertain the problem. Mr.Lynch decided that the base needed to be replaced, and he ordered it immediately. Within a week a new base arrived and has been installed. We couldnt be more pleased with the timely service. It has been a real pleasure to work with John Lynch and his staff. We will highly recommend them and this store as often as possible.

We purchased a lift recliner, a book case with glass doors that we looked all over for and new couch and chair. From John Lynch himself right down to the delivery guys we received the most courteous service. The delivery guys were here at the time they promised and went above and beyond in placing our furniture in the spots we wanted it, I would highly recommend this store to anyone! Excellent experience from initial browsing to delivery and enjoyment. Nice varied selection on the floor. Returned and ordered a sofa with no pressure and expert advice (superior to our experience with others in the area recently). Piece came when advertised and they held it til we were ready, no problem. Delivery guys were courteous and careful. Have loved the sofa since!

I always try to do business with local businesses but Lynch Furniture will no longer get my support. I live out of town and called Mr. John Lynch several times. The sofa we ordered was back ordered and no one let us know. Then I told him and his staff several times I wanted to pay the bill, even though my mother had put the deposit down. John charged my mothers card anyway without her permission. Then I was on the road and asked him to cancel it, he said only if I give him another payment, which I didnt have the card with me, it was with my husband. I asked him to take the payment off now because my mother had automatic debits coming out the next day. He refused and held me hostage for the other card as if I was a thief. He was so rude and condescending. Stay away from this guy, as I told him to his face he is a crook. Hey John, its 2019, treat your customers with respect and deliver on time. The furniture was great but that is a credit to Lazy Boy and England Furniture, not this rude man.

I went there for the first time a couple weeks ago looking at the swivel rockers. Ended up by a different chair that also reclines and a dining room set. High quality merchandise at a very reasonable price. Im sorry I didnt go sooner. Its worth the trip!!

My son and I were interested in their 2 for 1 Recliner Sale. After requesting a price quote on their web site Matt Lynch called me. Said the $499 Recliner I was interested in wasnt part of the promotion but had others at $499 that were. When I visited the store he showed us two $499 non recliners. When I said Were only interested in recliners he showed us styles $699 and up. When I said what about the $499 recliners? He BARKED back, dont insult me in my own store..... are you calling me dishonest? I said, no no, its just that were only interested in recliners. I was so embarrassed I wanted to leave but my son insisted we continue shopping. I wrote a letter to owner, John Lynch detailing the indecent with no reply. After a month I called John to see if he received it and he did, but wanted to re-read it and would call me back. Never got a return call. So much for good customer service and relations. I will never shop at or recommend this store to anyone. Bait and switch tactic at its best!

Refreshingly honest business! I have bought various items from Lynch Furniture both for myself and members of my family. We have always received very helpful and friendly no pressure service.I recently had a problem with a computer chair that I bought a few years back. Mr. John Lynch treated me as if I were a preferred customer and is sending parts out to me free of charge. He got back to me right away after calling him about the problem. I am so very impressed with his honesty and willingness to help even after the warranty time. I also have the option of having the repair done for a modest labor fee if I opt to do so. And I probably will take that option.WONDERFUL company with great selections and honest policies. I highly recommend them!

After looking at several other stores, I was glad to find the hometown feel of Lynch Furniture! I found items that I hadnt seen at the bigger name stores and they were perfect for my needs! My furniture arrived after about three weeks and I couldnt be happier! Karen and John worked with me to find the perfect solution for my space and the color was exactly what I expected! The guys who delivered took great care on a muddy day to keep my new carpet clean and were quick and efficient! Next time I need furniture, Im going straight to Lynch!

We bought a recliner and ottoman with custom pillows recently for about $1500; and we were picking up the furnature ourselves instead of opting for delivery . After we paid and were about to head for the door, John Lynch asked to see the sales slip. The nice sales woman had undercharged us by about $100 for the pillows he said. And he wouldnt even apologize for their mistake and give us a deal for that small amount. We had a nice experience until the owner ruined it for us with that response. So much for appreciating this customer. We will take our business elsewhere I think!

Excellent help and quality

We bought recliners 2 years ago and mine has been used a lot since I work from home and have twins that always have to sit with mommy. My foot rest started having issues so my husband insisted I get a new one. We met one of the sons on the floor and he gave us a great deal and offered for us to bring the base in to be repaired by their serviceman and avoid a home service charge. They have been wonderful.

Had a problem with a Laz-e-Boy recliner that we purchased about 18 months ago. Called John Lynch and two days later a repairman (who was exceptional) came to our home and fixed the problem. No charge!Thats what I call friendly hometown service.--

John Lynch had a commercial on 1180 am radio today. What a joke.He does not act as he advertised. Very rude if you have to deal with him to get what you paid for and HE has to provide service after the sale, not your NICE saleswoman. We spent $6500.00 on a living room set and it took 6 weeks to get a minor issue taken care of. Had to call and remind him several times. Then he tells us not to contact him with this OR ANY OTHER MATTER! That is after he advertises If we dont treat you better than anywhere else youve shopped; See Me, Im the guy whose name is on the door.- John F. Lynch... Take your business elsewhere and save yourselves from being insulted and bullied.

I would post no stars but it wont let me. My wife called up to ask a simple question and Mr. Lynch treated her like a piece of garbage. As far as Im concerned he shouldnt come in contact with public period. Ill bet even the positive postings are Fake. Horrible customer service with John Lynch! My mom recently purchased a recliner chair and was not satisfied with the function of the chair. Tried to return within a week of purchase and John was extremely rude and would not offer to work with us in any way. He wasn’t willing to listen to our complaint and even hung up on us!

I bought a sofa from Lynchs furniture store. Within 30 days I called with problems with it. My problems with the sofa were not addressed. I have sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and my complaint went unanswered by Lynchs Furniture. I spoke with Mr John Lynch on several occasions and he did nothing to resolve the problem. I would not purchase anything from the store again. On mylast conversation with Mr Lynch; he told me he was not going to do anything at all about the sofa with broken springs & worn fabric, and bad construction.

Not impressed with the customer service I received today by Mr Lynch - while communicating through the whole order, we were told today shortly before delivery that Lynch received the wrong love seat in our set. Mr Lynch did not offer to be accommodating or reduce the balance by even a small kind gesture $50-$100, I would like to add that we paid for the furniture in full the only balance remaining to be paid was the tax and the $100 stain-guard which is an optional service. Lynchs should have noticed the error in the delivery when the furniture was received at their facility from the factory. Or prior to the stain-guard application that is supposed to happen prior to delivery. I would also like to mention we were told six weeks for delivery, today is week 9 and 4 days. This all was after we had agreed to buy the furniture that was on the sales floor, but were told when getting ready to pay that the loveseat on the sales floor had been sold. Needless to say I will be taking my business else where and encouraging family and friends to do the same. We were truly wanting to support a local business and Made in America product and we got horrible customer service and were treated as if we were just another customer at a big box store, and Mr Lynch didnt want to do anything for us. So much for If we dont treat you better than anywhere else youve shopped; See Me, Im the guy whose name is on the door.- John F. Lynch...

Entirely a negative experience with owner John Lynch. He spoke to me like I was something to be peeled off the bottom of his shoe. I have known him for quite a few years and was treated in a shabby manner. I would never purchase any item from his Canandaigua store again. go to see his brother at Lynch Furniture in Geneva, NY. or Raymour and Flanigan. save yourself the brush-off.

Friendly staff (who still know to give you space!) and fair prices.

We are in the process of replacing all of the furniture in our house and my Mothers house, room by room. Thought wed go with a local business to show support. That was our mistake. Placed the order and was told delivery would be in 2-3 weeks. Talked with salesperson that winter break would be coming up mid Feb. Was assurred order would be in before then. Nowpast the 3 week day and was just told by John Lync that the order wont be in for another week. Delivery would be ONLY on Thurs of winter break. Asked if he could deliver it Weds as we wont be home on Thurs. Hes not willing to work with us at all. Started questioning whether we heard the salesperson right or not! Delivery is now another week! So 5 weeks versus the 2-3 weeks we were told. Terrible customer service attitude. Too bad we have more furniture to buy but not from them.
