I’m Extremely picky about fitness wear and shoes so the Personalized Service one receives here in this location is Excellent and helped us buy the Shoe we needed. In addition my friend and I learned about our feet, how we walk and the best insoles, and shoes we should be wearing. Great experience. Music is also Killer ....

This was my first time in the store. Very good selection of high-quality running shoes. The customer service was excellent. The sales clerk Jimmy greeted me when I entered the store. Wasnt too pushy and seem genuinely interested in providing a thorough assessment of what I was looking for. I generally dont like to shop in-stores because of pushy sales clerks but I have to say the customer service her was great. And the best part is I walked out of the store loving my new running shoes. I highly recommend this store.

This store has a great selection at fair prices but the knowledge of their staff was above and beyond. Thomas made buying shoes fun and helped us make some positive changes to the way we buy shoes. It was my first visit and I didnt realize how much customer service it would require but we left happy and even though we stayed a little past closing, didnt feel rushed at all by the crew wanting to go home.

Thanks to Lincoln at this store, I am able to finally jump rope and run without foot or knee pain ( it has been at least 10 years since I could do this). He recommended some awesome inserts for my flat feet and the most comfortable running shoes ever. Worth every penny.

I visited for the second time today, last time being couple of weeks ago. The staff was really kind, helpful and super knowledgeable.I got a GAIT analysis done the first time, had my insoles customized. I thought those would be on record today when I went to finally buy.So I had to get the analysis done all over again. Also, the second scan resulted in a totally different set of shoe recommendations which was a little weird personally. I truly believe the staff knows what they are doing, no second thoughts about that.And the shoes I went to buy twice now werent available. Except for the experience I faced personally, I have no complaints.Recommendation: Visiting with an appointment can give you the edge as there might usually be a waiting time.

My recent experience at Road Runner Sports was a great example of old time excellent service. The young lady that worked with me--Bridget-- was personable and very thorough. I actually purchased two pair of running shoes and Bridget insisted that I try on all of the choices that she presented to me. I especially was impressed by the molding of the insoles to my exact measurements. I would certainly not hesitate recommending your shop to anyone in the market for not only well-made shoes but excellent service.

Jacob did a wonderful job of assisting us in finding the perfect pair of shoes and inserts for her. He was so knowledgeable, very nice, and very professional. He also had a great sense of humor which we both loved. The store had a great selection of shoes, socks, and athletic apparel.

Just picked up a new custom fitted insole for my work boots and some shoes and insoles for my kid. Love the great friendly staff here. You definitely pay a little extra for comfort but its well worth it!

We (my bf and I) went in on a week night after many recommendations from friends. Boy, were we glad we finally did. Andy (super awesome guide) greeted us within 3 minutes of us entering. He walked us through the process in detail and helped us determine the best shoe for our needs. He really listened. They offer a very thorough analysis of your individual walking gate and foot measurements. We really liked the custom-molding insoles.Andy was really helpful and patient. You can tell that he genuinely wants to help you find the right shoe for you. It was the best shoe fitting experience weve ever had! Was helped and welcomed by Kristan and was amazed at the tools that are used to find the best fit shoe/insole for you. I went there because I was developing some tenderness in my achilles tendon, and left satisfied with some very comfortable Hoka shoes, Hoka Clifton 8 to be exact. I am very thankful for the store and Kristans knowledge, patience, and kindness.

Good place to find active wear shoes. We did a gait analysis and the person who helped us, Jeff, patiently explained everything and helped us to select the shoes which were really comfortable to wear. Definitely recommend the place. Has a decent variety of collection of shoes too.

I was very impressed with the detailed in-depth report of my feet that they provided. I definitely did not expect that. I got the Hoka One Clifton shoes. I wanted more pairs of shoes, but that was the only wide option that they carried, and most wide options are sold out online. The store could benefit from having more employees since it took over an hour to purchase my shoes with just 2 people ahead of me. If it wasn’t for the lack of stock and the long wait, I would give this store 5 stars. My feet have never felt better. I will definitely be ordering more shoes online and will be recommending family and friends to come visit (with an appointment). Andy was so friendly and polite. He’s a great asset to your store. Love Roadrunner 90-day return policy with VIP membership (only a few dollars more). Can exchange in whatever shape shoes are in, so you don’t have to worry about just wearing indoors. Most of the sales people very helpful.

I went to Road Runner Sports several weeks ago, with a severe metatarsal injury, just 4 weeks shy of the Boston Marathon. I was helped by Andy Crawford. Andy was fabulous! He listened attentively to the description of my injury, and what my podiatrist was recommending that I look for in an alternate running shoe than the one that caused my injury. Andy felt with the extent of my injury, and so little time to heal, that I should consider Sauconys Endorphin Speed shoe. A marathoner and coaching coach, Andy generously offered additional suggestions to address my injury. I purchased the Endorphin Speed shoes and wear them daily. Along with an insole custom-modified by my podiatrist, my new Sauconys are the only shoes that are keeping my pain level to where I am no longer limping. Thank you greatly, Andy, for all of your invaluable advice and your kindness!

I have been coming here for quite a while now and the service has been good, but today (09/11/21) I had the worse experience. The young lady, Bryanna that was helping me was so rude. I guess she didn’t like that I was asking for a stability shoe, while she was forcing me to get a neutral shoe. When I was choosing the shoes I wanted to try out, she left and started talking bad about with another co-worker. She said “I need to go help other customers” and left. She was ignoring me and never came back until I asked someone else to help me out. I know I come here often to get new shoes, but that shouldn’t be the reason or define how they treat customers. All I wanted was to try new shoes and buy them. For now on, I will stay way from the store, I will be shopping online.

Really nice people that work there. Be prepared to spend, but hey that’s good running shoes. When you get fitted just speak up if you want or don’t want insoles! Otherwise a very clean and nice shop.

Walked in and was greeted and offered assistance. They had other customers but always made sure they came back to us to see how we were doing. They did the whole measure your foot experience and explained every step and the correct shoes. Awesome. I will definitely be back and bring my mom to get the correct orthotics for her feet. We just walked into the store in this afternoon. The customer representative entered our name in the waitlist which is fine. But after 20 minutes they were just surpassing us but not attending us at all and ignoring deliberately. Honestly disappointed.

I went to this store to get some running shoes. The service I got blew my mind. The staff was extremely Friendly and knowledgeable. They scanned my feed and recorded how I walk to do some detailed analysis. I found out some key insights about my feet and what I needed to adjust for. A reasonably good selection, though popular apparel items sell out fast. Two things I especially like: (1) highly knowledgeable sales people - as good as I’ve encountered (2) discounts and generous return privileges in their loyalty program. Bottom line: very competitive pricing.

Been here many times, good selection but mostly good return policy. They’ve made it easier to access their store by moving to Hamilton @ Bascom in the old bike store. Parking is easier and getting to the location is easier. Currently they have a “reservation “ system but usually mornings are a better time to go.

I recently visited Road Runner Sports so that my girlfriend could get a new pair of running shoes. I didn’t intend to get anything for myself because I didn’t think they would have what I was looking for. One of their staff asked me if he could help me with anything and I gave him some of my specifications. He recommended and brought out a few pairs of shoes which satisfied most of the features I wanted in a new pair of shoes. It then occurred to me that I needed something water proof or at least water resistant. They didn’t have anything that met that condition, so I ended up getting a pair of insoles molded to the shape of my feet instead. I have one pair of these insoles already and I LOVE them, so now I have another pair for my future shoes. The point here is that even though they didn’t have what I needed, I felt very well taken care of, seen and hear and to me that constitutes not only service, but, more importantly, an experience which I won’t soon forget! (BTW - my girlfriend got exactly what she needed with insoles molded to her feet which should work well for her.)

Increased my rating based on the recent experience for replacement of shoes. My brother realized that shoes were not comfortable during run and insoles were also not perfectly cut. Andrew helped with the overall process and it was smooth replacement. He provided many tips and recommendations on selecting shoes and running gears.

I absolutely love this place. They provide excellent service, the merchandise is excellent quality, and the gait analysis is better than some podiatrists I’ve gone to. If you are a serious athlete, you need to check this place out.

The customer service is always top notch. My only complaint is that they get so busy (good for business) that store traffic often outnumbers the store reps which starts diverting attention. The experience is overall 4.5 stars but that’s basically a 5 for me.

Brandon helped with doing the evaluation and then selecting the insoles, shoes and socks. He was very thorough in covering all aspects as I have been running longer distances in trail running shoes. The set that he helped me select has been great in mid to long distance runs with no pain post run that I was experiencing with the trail running shoes. Would reccomend the store!

I have been with this store couple of years at its old location nearby. Today is my first time visit the store at this new location. All good things are still good. Obviously the new place has more customers, so the wait time to be served is a killing point for me. I took a boy who became more competitive in running. So the problems with feet and shoes are showing up more seriously, blue nails and falling nails. There are 5 people in front of me. I waited 40-50 minutes and there are still 2 people in front of me. So I have to leave for lunch and find another place to shop for running shoes. If you go at a better time, you will be fine I think. Good luck!

The customer service was great. And I always enjoy the products I purchas there. Friendly customer service. Only reason for a four-star is that I made several purchases online and needed to return them for poor fit. The return process for online items was long and arduous. The staff did their best but it seems to be some kind of problem with the system.

Could not get through to the store. It kept going to a voicemail to a store in Thousand Oaks and then hanging up with no options.So I went to the store, the shoes that I had ordered could not be found. The store clerk that was helping did nit take any interest in a captive customer. Rather he wanted to continue selling to other new customers.By now I was frustrated. Finally Cameron came to help me. I explained the situation to him. He was very enterprising and truly wanted to help me. He found the out that was specially ordered for me, even though it was not kept reserved in my name.When I went to check out, I was told by the cashier that I had some credit. I told the cashier that I wanted to use the credit for my shoes. He also wanted to sell me more stuff instead of helping me with my needs. I had to remind him twice to use the credit toward my purchase.Eventually left the store with the pair of shoes. It took me almost an hour for something that should have taken me 10 minutes. A very frustrating experience!!

The shoe fitting specialist is knowledgeable and friendly. First for my kid to find a pair of shoes not hurting her feet, though pricy. My kid’s feet are small, wide and tall. Better to make an appointment online first if you go on weekends. They get really busy.

Today was my first time visiting this store. I was assisted by Jeff, who was fantastic to work with. I am visually impaired, and Jeff was extremely helpful in guiding me through the store, assisting me with getting myself positioned for the scanner and the custom insole molds, and explaining how the different products I purchased will help with my training. Definitely going to visit this store again when I need to update my training gear.

For years I have dealt with foot pain from my arches going flat. The team at Road Runner Sports helped me determine what type of shoe best fits my foot, and put me in a pair of comfortable shoes, with custom arch supports. I havent had a day of foot pain since.

You’ll get a custom assessment of your feet and running style. You’ll find out what type of shoes fit properly and NOT simply what looks cool. They also offer custom insoles that are molded from your feet. You can insert them in any footwear you have.Personally I came there for the Hoka One recovery slides. They are designed for recovery from your run or hiking activities. They have a ton cushion to relive you after expelling energy and putting stress on your feet. They don’t come in kids sizes. So I bought a woman’s size for one of my sons. Hell never know. I bought 3 total and the price was very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back for more running and outdoor gear. It’s a small store and needs your support to keep up with the big box retailers.Please support this small business. See you on the trails in San Jose ! !! Thanks

I had an awesome experience down at the Campbell Roadrunner. I worked with Bandon and he was awesome; well informed, patient while I figured out what new insoles I wanted to get and accommodating when I realized I need a second pair for my work shoes. We had a great conversation about our own experiences working in retail. At checkout, he mentioned an option for upgrade membership to save more on future purchases. Ive never really paid any attention to my feet until I developed sciatica... and its been a painful year with it so far but Im working on it. I want to thank all the staff who work there for their support and knowledge about what best shoe would suit me. Im amazed about their return policy and their insoles are awesome would recommend to anyone new looking for a place to get the best running shoe for their daily lifestyle.
