This location in Campbell is great. Small store but always have what Im looking for and theres always someone around to assist if needed.

Didnt have what I wanted. Staff did not even know what grip socks were (for yoga & Pilates). Big 5 has a big assortment of stuff of course, but generally of medium quality and not good selections. Not my first choice for sporting goods.

Sales people always checking to see if you need anything. Polite. And theyre not on commission! Asked for a pair of shoes from the back; came out in about 30 seconds! Shoe prices very reasonable. Could be 5* if they had bigger shoe selection at my price point.

This location is deceivingly larger on the inside than it looks from the parking lot. Store is well-stocked, clean, and organized. I arrived to buy a pair of shoes, ended up leaving with three pair, and some other items that were a great value. I suggest signing up for their online promotions, they send great doorbusters and one day deals on a regular basis, excellent value! This location has an excellent assortment of air guns as well as real firearms and ammo, if youre into that type of thing. They also sell bikes, which not all of their locations do. Great spot, busy Plaza. Lots of parking

Stocked well with things we were looking for. The shoe guy was fast and helpful.Took stars off because there was a shorter female person who was loud, rude and bossy. Didnt appreciate hearing staff being told what to do in that manner. Not professional.

I bought a pair of quad roller skates at this location for the Family Giving Tree and only realized the next daythat I needed a gift receipt for the purchase. I didnt have the original receipt on me, but the two staff I talked to, Brockton and Grace, were extremely pleasant and helpful. After I explained the situation to them, they promised to do what they could (even though they hadnt handled a similar situation before). After only 5 minutes of some processing (and friendly chatting with both of them) they were able to print out the receipt and bring up the full details of the purchase. Amazing staff at this store! Thanks to both of you.

The staff here is pretty awesome... Particularly Damon... He spent a fair amount of time helping me. Even though the Sunnyvale Big 5 is closer, Ill keep going to the Campbell store.

At first glance, this place feels disorganized and crowded. But they have an incredible selection of items.I come here to buy my youngest hiking boots. He is growing rapidly, and outgrows his boots every 3-6 months. Big 5 has an excellent selection of kids hiking boots for under $50. So what if they wont last for 5 years, he is outgrowing them faster than he can destroy them. And they are pretty good quality -- he has been on several backpacking trips with no blisters.I come for the boots, but I leave with a bunch of stuff that I needed without serious damage to my wallet.

The employees are always ready to help me find what I need.

In the past I would have given 2 stars but the people there are way nicer now and very helpful. I like coming here now. Plus they have lots of stuff from workout gear, shoes, fishing, outdoors, snow stuff, etc. Plus they have great sales all the time.

Showed up 30 minutes b4 closing at 8:00pm due to covid and they still had the store closed might as well close at 6.

I like the one day deal the have ... You can get some items at half the price if not lower. Most of the staff are very helpful and can assist you if you need any help.

Nice store in the neighborhood. I like their selection for active footware. The other items may not be that great in price.

Tried on about 5 pairs of shoes. None fit or they felt cheap. Several more not in stock. The man who helped me was nice. I wont be back soon.

For a small store, this Big 5 seems to always have exactly what we need, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. From sports/fitness gear and equipment to camping supplies, this is our go to store.

The girl the help me was very nice and pacient with me.

Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted by a salesman asking if I needed help. Advised me as to the best way to take advantage of the discount coupon I came there to use.

Went in for some sports clothing and found just what I wanted. Staff were curtius and guided me to the products I was interested in. Checkout was just as polite.

Nice selection of sports shoes and rain boots this Winter. Lots of stock in this smaller store. Reasonable walking tennies with velcro closures at great prices especially when they run their sales.

Place is ok, but I am stll miffed when an emploee handed me a fireaem that stll had a magazine in the firearm and with a closed breach. I told the employee that he needs to clear the wepon before handing it to the customer (or anybody). His response was he opened the breach, saw it was clear, then hands it to the customer.Poor understanding of gun safety. Be very careful looking at guns at any big 5.
