Today, I didnt hesitate to go to ATT; I just wish it had been my first stop!However, I started the day at Verizon. I needed to switch providers and tried to go to Verizon first, but it was a total crash and burn out of the gate. The one stated need I had beyond the typical (US dialing to Canada) was not included the plan they suggested and it was discovered when I did a test call and it failed. Then, not uncommon in my experience, Verizon gets in their own way: I was told it would now take 4-10 days to get to the plan I needed. Why? For the handoff between Verizons prepaid and Verizons unlimited plans. At this point, I had NO plan service at all. Verizon agreed, I had to go to another provider to get this rectified today.I didnt hesitated to go to ATT because I have been happy with their network (had previously been a Verizon customer through my company but my personal phone had recently been with an ATT reseller).When I arrived at ATT store in Central Square, I worked with Mike.Mike listened, was helpful and efficient and essentially salvaged my day, providing me a plan that met my needs at a good price point. I tested with a phone call: Success! Mike did a great job, getting me squared away and on my way. I would definitely recommend ATT and their plan not only addressed my central need, but gave me MUCH more than I expected. ATT fit the bill and Mike got the job done! Thank you

The manager (Jose) has Death before dishonor tattooed on his forearm, however, honorable is one of the last words I would use to describe him. Difficult personality, he was taking personal calls all day, and he left early before my issue was fixed. I was trying to change to AT&T and port my number and this took around 7 hours. I received bad or incomplete info multiple times. Unfortunately I fear that this is the standard set by many American telecom stores.

This was second AT&T location and forth place I came that day in hope of getting help with my broken phone. At that point I was pretty desperate and upset, considering I was sort of dismissed by first AT&T visit (on Needham st). But I was lucky to stop by this location. Mike helped me, he was very professional, knowledgeable, attentive and kind. Thank you very much! Definitely will recommend coming here.

If I could give less than one star I would. They set up my phone incorrectly so that when I left the store it did not work and I had to call tech support to get it to work (even though I was in the store for 3 hours). They kept trying to sell me Uverse which has been its own nightmare. I just got my bill and it is completely wrong. I am being charged an upgrade fee when I didnt upgrade my phone. My monthly bill doubled when it was supposed to go up $10. They charged me the wrong amount for the installment fee. This is experience has been a nightmare.

Waited over an hour for help at this location the other week. When I finally received help, the employee was very personable, knowledgeable, and helped me with the questions that I had. When I visited this location today, the employee (a different one) told me that the services that I was helped with the other week are not available at this location and that Id need to go elsewhere. A complete 180 from what the previous employee told me.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE SERVICE IN THIS STORE IS THE WORST IVE EVERY HADI went into this store two days ago to move from having a pay-as-you-go monthly plan to a contract. I was paying $60 a month for 4GB of data before plus $5 additionally for international calling. A friend told me I would pay less with a contract as $60 a month was a lot. As a UK citizen I also wanted a contract so I could continue to build credit in the US.First I was told that they dont do contracts any more (this is only true for some retailers, AT&T obviously do contracts)Instead I was told that for $30 I could have a different plan that had unlimited calls and texts, and 3GB data. While my data would decrease from 4GB to 3GB the cost would half. WRONG. Similar to another persons review here, the guy failed to mention the additional base charge.I now have a plan with less data and international calls are no longer free (just less than the standard standard) for $70, somehow Im paying more for less!!!!!!!!!!!These charges are normal, what is not normal was that this information was not given at the time of purchase.Finally, in order to obtain this awful service I was in the store almost 1.5hours...the guy didnt know how to work the computer and at no point apologized for the wait. How it took this long I cannot imagine but to top everything off once I left the store he felt the need to encourage me to give him ten stars in any review I might take!!!!!!!!!!!How the f#*k is that ok?This is not an AT&T corporate location, they appear to be a private authorized retailer despite the store looking like an official AT&T location. Go to Cambridgeside!!!!
Went there to get a sim card. Experienced quite an unhelpful, arrogant, misinforming representative. He assigned me a phone number without letting me choose. Didnt tell me that one can get an international calling card in $5 (250 minutes call time, I asked for some calling card which allows me to call for about 200 minutes per month), instead sold me one in $15 (unlimited calls, which I didnt need) and forgot to activate the international calling facility. So, once I called my home, in 7 minutes, all the balance was gone. When I went back there, he arrogantly said, its my duty to activate that, not his (he said he will do that for me, no worries).

We had the worst experience at your store. When we walked into your store we inquired about the prices for the mobile plans, and upon asking whether the plan was 40$ a month, we were told a simple yes, not mentioning that that is just the base-line and 25$ had to be paid on top for the one line that we opened. This was the first strike. That night, my girlfriends wallet got stolen with the credit card that we just had paid a 500$ deposit at AT&T with. So we went back to the store two days later and asked whether the deposit had still been processed, since we cancelled the credit card the night, the wallet was stolen. We were told No and paid for it again. Once the bank statements came at the end of the month, we noticed that we paid the 500$ twice. Thats strike two. Now we have to argue with the store clerk, who seems totally clueless the whole time and gave us wrongful information instead of being helpful (Gabriel Ventura). On top AT&T seems to have an antique information system, as even the support hotline was not able to find the two payments and give us the additional 500$ back that we did not have to pay in the first place. Thats strike three. We cancelled the plan and went to Metro CPS. No hidden activation fee that we did not sign for and were not informed about. 40$ a month, period. Never again such a mess with this unhelpful company.

Awful! They sold me a prepaid card that they knew was not going to be compatible with my iphone. When it turned out that I could not use it, they were unwilling to take it back and refund me. I will file an official complaint.
The people at this store have no idea what they are doing.I walked in and it should have taken 5 mins. I needed my imei updated for my sim because I bought an unlocked phone.After they eventually figured that out, and rebooted my phone 3 times, I had to show them how to set the correct APN settings to get it to work.To top it off a rep tried to forcefully put a micro usb cable in my usb-c phone AFTER I TOLD HIM IT WOULD NOT FIT. what the hell

Above and beyond service.No wait; 2 people behind counter. Explained our options particularly payments very clearly. Unfortunately they didnt have either of our 2 iPhone choices.They called their 2 other local stores thinkingthey would go get it, rechecked their inventory online. No luck. Received 1/2 shipment earlier in the day but all out. They tried to call Cambridgeshire Mall corporate ATT store, no answer after 60 seconds. They looked up their inventory online which said mall store had some. Now in 2nd 1/2 hour of waiting at Mall store. 2 people working at mall. We were second when we signed up. Now we are first of 8.
Great service and hilarious sales reps. Got everything I needed from the store and they stayed open late to transfer my old phone to the new one.
I received inaccurate information from a representative about a promotion, then had issues with the S9 device while attempting to do a trade in. The AT&T staff member factory reset my phone and then said they could not complete the upgrade. All my content was lost. They offered me a $100 credit to offset these troubles.
