Okay, to clear confusion, this is actually 2 places in one. 10 speed Coffee (cafe) and Pedalers fork (restaurant/bar). There is a bike repair shop there as well and I think they plan weekly rides.Im reviewing from the perspective of a cafe patron but the food is technically from the restaurant. For me, the #1 draw of this place is the atmosphere.Their indoor seating area is very warm and inviting but the best spot is their deck space. This area is enclosed completely from the parking lot and road by the restaurant itself and a creek with trees. It is also covered so it is mostly in shade. As for the food and coffee, I really enjoyed their maple latte which I had iced. It has a good balance of richness and sweetness. It isnt a super-sweet dessert drink, which is nice with breakfast.Ive had two meals here, The Frida, a brisket sandwich and their breakfast sandwich. Both were good and I had them with crispy little potatoes. Prices are on the expensive side but you can tell they use higher quality ingredients and they are probably typical for the Calabasas area.I would probably rate 4 stars, but I was helped by the same gentleman both times I visited and his service was very good.Definitely check it out if you like a nice outdoor area to sit and drink coffee while you work/read/draw.ALSO parking is behind the restaurant and you enter through there then order at the coffee counter.
Always delicious coffee and cookies here. I love the way they make chagaccinos. Its a little chocolatey, especially when hot.
One of my favorite coffee shops in the valley. Their untapped maple latte is amazing and full of flavor.
I stopped by here early in the morning and was able to walk through the farmers market right in front before coming inside to grab a cold brew. the coffee was pretty good. the cashier was a nice guy and tended to me very quickly. the parking can be a bit limited but i suggest you park up the street and make a walk down.
Super cute lil Coffee Place/Bike Repair Shop...with their own Roastery upstairs! What?! My mocha was smooth and yummy. Baristas friendly and knowledgeable. Yeah...Ill be back!
Great coffee and friendly staff, peaceful patio and free wifi
Pretty solid place, definitely a cycling pit stop. Easy to grab n go, not a whole lot on the menu but good options. I got their cold brew which was solid. They only do one size which is their large do be ready for some good cold coffee. The flavor is really distinct and full of boldness.
Atmosphere and vibe is so cool! Staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating!
First time i went here there was a lady that just seemed very short, no eye contact did not care to listen. Next time the gentlemen working did not seem very polite. Good coffee but wokrers were not very friendly. When the customer service is not great there is no point of going back no matter how good the coffee is. Hope they train the staff a little better
Incredibly difficult to find and apparently they closed early today but there’s no sign on the door. Don’t waste your time.
This is my 1st/2nd favorite coffee shop ever!! I say that only because I’m a barista at another shop in the LA area and they are very close in comparison it’s hard to choose. The vanilla latte iced or hot is probably the best on the planet. If you have tried your fair share of IVLs you will know some shops vanilla is just not it sis. Too much artificial/vanilla extract alcohol-y. But 10/10 speeds is perfect. In every way. And they have the bigger block ice so it actually is just unmatched. The maple latte is also bomb! The staff are courteous and work hard and quickly! It is a gem (-:
Ive only had the pleasure of enjoying coffee from this establishment once and ordered a specialty coffee with mushroom powder. I would never have though of such a thing but it was good though expensive. I also enjoyed the rustic barn meets bicycle shop atmosphere of this coffee shop and the attached farmers market. Charming and unique.
Nice place, good coffee, great service.Even Jerry Seinfeld likes it! 😎
Store said was open but doors were locked even with people inside. Not sure what’s going on with that. It was also incredibly difficulty to get to the entrance which was in this back parking lot.
Definitely a terrifying covid-19 hole on a Saturday morning, given the Farmers market. Delicious coffee, appropriate pricing for high quality. I wish they had a curbside pickup option, but the landscape of the area doesnt really allow for it. I would have given 5 stars if I felt safe with the precautions.
Awesome coffee spot. Fun atmosphere.
One of the best coffee places tucked away inside peddlars fork.Come here to enjoy the farmers market and the best coffee in Calabasas (probably the valley)
I love this place! I always seek out independent coffee shops wherever I visit and this was a favorite! Love the outdoor seating and that I can get coffee and a full lunch if I want. Only thing is I’d call out is that prices are really high. But that’s the area.
Abby and her co-worker were awesome. Very knowledgeable about coffee and the Calabasas area.
Such a cozy and clean place!Coffee is good, and its actually really good to work here. Love this place
Coffee- mehAmbiance and space - definitely nice for outdoor hanging out
Great place to grab a coffee, pastry or breakfast burrito.
Thank you for the great experience!! Especially during covid. My boyfriend and I were in the area for an appointment. We live in the central valley... Anywho, we are both avid coffee drinkers. We absolutely love finding the best coffee spots whenever we visit another city. We googled coffee shops near us and 10 Speed popped up! We both cycle as well so this made is even more excited to visit!! We arrived and instantly knew we were going to enjoy the coffee and atmosphere. We walk towards the entrance and we notice the mezuzah on the door and it sparked joy for us since were also Jewish. The barista was so sweet. I forget her name but she had the sides of her head shaved and wore glasses. I purchased our drinks (cold brew and americano) but since we werent gunna be back anytime soon I had to purchase a cycling cap and a pound of kickstand to take home. Oh, and some stickers. Thanks for the great coffee and experience!! I highly recommend this place. So comfortable and so good with down to earth humans.
One star for the free drinks.
Always good times!
One day I would love to pull up here in a red Avanti...or a white 1963 Corvette Stingray...or a 1981 brown Chevrolet Chevette with comedian JB Smooth. And just have coffee. Cause Im versatile like that! Yes! I put the sas in Calabasas!
One of the best coffees in town!!Situated in a charming village-like setting the cafe itself is “bicycle” themed. You can almost forget that you are in one of the most commercials busy areas of LA! The almond cafe latte was excellent, smooth and creamy. The young woman who served us was very friendly and polite. A thoroughly enjoyable coffee place.
Good coffee and chill vibes
Great quality coffee and friendly service! Nice to grab a coffee and explore the farmers market that’s right out back on Saturdays
This is the best coffee shop I found in the area. The coffee and atmosphere is amazing, however, it is valet parking only. And there isnt really any street parking. Even if youre just picking somebody up the valet parking people are rude and its honestly so frustrating just to get a quick cup of coffee. The valet parking is a giant deterrent for me coming back. But the coffee is great.
Was there Saturday and it was a pretty messy system, especially considering covid I was surprised. No one knew where to stand and the two workers were definitely not friendly.
I’ll honestly drive 35-40 min to come here sometimes just because its the best place to focus and concentrate on work for me personally. Pretty quiet, good crowd and it’s nice being able to work outside while also having enough shade to see your laptop screen.
Great facility, place to lock your high dollar bike securely. I had their ice coffee, very tasty.
Try the salted chocolate chip cookie. You wont regret it
This awesome place and so good to have some time with a good coffee. Love the chocolate chip cookies that have walnuts in them! They also have pour over coffee.
Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Highly recommend the chagaccino.
Best lattes around. Love grabbing one and sitting outside - great vibes all around! Free valet before 5.
We went for my birthday. We loved the coffee bar. Very convenient. I had corned beef hash and it was the best Ive found in this town! My husband had biscuits and friend chicken. He said it was very tasty.
This one one cool spot! If youre an avid cyclist with a passion for food and coffee you need to check out this location. WiFi, cyclists abound, and a sweet little shop make this a gym in the county. Minus one star--not the best latte Ive had.
Have to park in valet. -1, Hard to find because its in a restaurant, so you have to look for Food Pedler or something Like that. Then when you go in they want to seat you. You can tell them youre interested in coffee if they dont ignore you. They might show you to the back of the restaurant where youll find a tiny coffee bar. The coffee and service is great.
I come here for their friendly service behind the counter and also the tasty, fresh, and well sourced coffee beans. If you buy a bag of beans you can have a free drip coffee on the house. The pour over offered here is perhaps the tastiest I’ve had at any place I’ve been to - no matter who does the pouring. The bean bags they sell last a couple weeks if you brew 1 pour over a day for 1 person. Their breakfast menus on weekdays and Sunday is really great too. Farmers market in the parking lot every Saturday. Parking for the coffee shop can usually avoid valet if you stay less than 10min.
The Maple Iced Latte is wonderful. I usually go for a hard Americano but tried a little something sweet today. The touch of sweetness from Maple Syrup is nice with the bitterish coffee. Perfect to wake me up. Priced moderately. Perhaps not for everyday if you have a budget but treat yourself to the Maple Iced Latte!
Great coffee shop, i come here often to grab a coffee and get some work done.
We came 20 minutes before closing and the guy working there (on March 8th, 2020 @ 5:40pm) was pretty rude. He must have already put some things away because he didn’t bother to make my matcha latte properly and it tasted pretty bad. I thanked him for squeezing us in before closing and he huffed and started complaining about how much cleaning he had to do. I regret tipping him. Sadly it was a bad first experience here. Not worth the money.
I like to strop by here in the morning before my long day at work, everyone is incredible and friendly, they always get the order correct.
Beautiful setting. Great for a sit-down with girls to catch-up. Coffee is flavourful but expensive. Nothing under $5, even for a regular brew. For a cheaper alternative, visit Corner Bakery down the block.
I can absolutely definitely say that my experience at 10 speed of coffee is a pretty good one that I enjoyed they have good decent quality coffee The prices are not that bad The people here are very nice to have decent parking and its in a bike shop so if you like bikes is definitely like a win-win for you I would say to check it out if youre in the area
The coffee here is amazing. They have a bunch of interesting single origin stuff and they do plenty of fancy drinks but their normal kickstand blend or just a house espresso is pretty phenomenal
Go there really early in the AM, sit outside and enjoy the sound of the stream and see the ducks doing what ducks do.I always have the Hot Chocolate, which is delicious. You should try one of the various pastries. Theres something for everyone.
I usually like this place, but I went there yesterday with a friend, and we each spent 5 dollars on lattes that tasted only of steamed milk with a little coffee flavoring. It was honestly kinda gross. It sucks because Id been telling her how great they were for weeks. This place is a roaster that should have more pride in their cups than that. Really disappointing.
The prices are very affordable. I would totally recommend this place. The coffee is great !!! The service is great !!
Getting a table at the 10 Speed Cafe for coffee and breakfast is delightful. Its a treat to outside by the creek. This spot works for friends or family and after shopping in the neighboring farmers market... Great coffee, food and service. #weekendvibes with mother
I usually love this place but the customers tend to be really stuck up. I was in line today and a woman clearly cut me. Lol. Cutthroat coffee. The employees are great though
Great coffee, great food and nice facility. I look forward to going back when it warms up so we can sit outside.
Delicious and hot coffee. Came here after the farmers market and really enjoyed it. Fun area to sit as well.
I have tried mochas in almost every coffee shop I have ever been to. I can easily say that the mocha I had here was the best Ive ever had. The location is super close to ghiradelli square and is very accessible. The coffee shop itself is very airy and open. My only problem is that it is pretty busy and its hard to find a seat. I had to sit outside. The coffee is extraordinary and the service is fast and friendly!
The staff is friendly and the coffee is AMAZING! I always order an almond milk latte and have never been disappointed. One of few places I will get coffee from in the valley. I buy their beans as well.
Awesome spot, in the back of Pedalers Fork (either walk through main restaurant or go into the parking lot in the back). They roast their own coffee on site and have awesome 5-panel hats you definitely need to own.
Excellent oat milk cappuccino and breakfast food. Great ambiance!
Really good coffee. An interesting mix of stores, a coffee shop; bike shop and restaurant.
The barista Carla is an absolute gem and was so accomadating to my Melbourne coffee craving of a long black. HIGHLY recommend these guys, ambience is incredible and coffee is the best in Calabasas for sure!
So worth finding. The coffee shop is attached to, and in the back of, Peddlers Fork. I can tell coffee is a craft to them. Enjoyed an espresso and their cherry oatmeal cookie in a classy atmosphere with happy employees.
Great coffee, great friendly service. Given in the back of the restaurant. Beautiful setting along small creek.
The first time I ordered coffee from them it took 2 days to get to me in Orange County. The coffee is great! This time I ordered my coffee at 12:30pm on a Thursday. Well its been 6 days and I havent received it yet. I called and got an excuse that it was the weekend when I ordered it. Now its almost the next weekend. Thats why Im giving 3 stars. The product is great, but think the service can improve
Small but fancy coffee shop that likes bikes! My bf and I both got mochas and they were delicious. Bonus of being right off the freeway. We just pulled off during our drive, got coffee, and got right back on.
One of the few coffee shops that use oat milk. Very good baristas.
A little pricey for just a cup of coffee but if youre looking for something strong with rich flavor its definitely worth it. Regular drip coffee is $5.
Great atmosphere, especially given the area. Music was a bit loud; but I probably would have liked the louder music when I was younger
Great service and delicious food, cant get enough of it!
Perfect lattes in a beautiful and modern decor. Oat milk from Oatly is a huge advantage and heir latte with it is unbeatable!
I love supporting local coffee roasters & this team has done a great job of consistently producing delicious and full bodied coffee.
Tiny hipster cafe inside a brunch restaurant. Busy on Farmers Market mornings, so the wait seemed long. Coffee, however, was delicious.
Excellent espresso. Great ambience
Best coffee in Calabasas. Recomending for all who need to spend a time in quiet and comfortable place
A small space attached to the Pedlars Fork restaurant, it has the right kind of charm for Calabasas. Barista took the time to pull some shots to dial in the espresso. Conveniently located right off the 101, however parking can be a nuisance around there.
10 Speed = 5 stars
Good coffee, cool vibe, parkings tough without valet and little seating. Rating would be higher if you could hang in the restaurant bar.
Very neat coffee shop with smart staff and high quality items.
Beautiful place to enjoy a relaxed morning cup of coffee.
Great spot for an Aussie to get a real coffee!
Great location.Free coffee refill
Dont get fooled! These people know NOTHING about roasting coffee. After checking out a few of their roasts, they were ALL mild to medium roasts. After settling for their Kickstand blend (at $16 a pound!) and made it myself, I was deeply disappointed. The coffee is very acidic, bland, weak in caffeine (I put a lot of it, too).I was really hoping to find a good coffee roster in the Valley, but this is DEFINITELY not it.If youre into latte drinks bought from a pretentious hipster place, this is exactly that, but dont look for good coffee here
Chill environment, and awesome coffees. Havent tried any of their specialties yet, Im a regular latte gal, and they are on point.
Everythings great! Thats all that needs to be said.
Amazing coffee, great food, great ambiance.
