Pedalers Fork is a very unique restaurant fused with a bicycle shop. I rated it only 3 stars because there was an extremely long wait to order, for food, and to get the check. If you are in a rush, I would chose somewhere else. The food was good, and I was surprised by the johnny cakes - they tasted good but were a lot more dense than I had imagined for something like a pancake. The blueberry-ginger compote was delicious on them.
10Speed Egg sandwich with turkey bacon was 💥💥💥💥💥. Stop by in the AM when the menu is only a few items. The coffee is divine, excellent servuce and baristas. Go after 11am for a full breakfast experience. 8am-11am is where its at for us. Plan to spend around $30 for breakfast, coffee and tip. Worth every single penny. Go with your favorite people. Its too perfect to ruin with bad vibes. And bring your bike if you need a fixin. Theres an awesome bike shop attached, open 8am-4pm. ❤
This is our go to place for lunch when we drive from San Diego to Santa Barbara. Lovely patio above a gently flowing creek. Jen, the bartender/server is wonderful. We had a nice visit with her! Timing wasnt good on the return drive so we couldnt stop in again. While we were eating 4 ducks recognized us as softies who would feed them, which we did. Very cute. I only took pics of the ducks, not the patio or food. Sorry, but it is all great. A lovely place to enjoy. Thanks Jen 😊 🙏
A nice treat after the farmers market on Saturdays. Great vegan options and awesome service.
Great burgers, also saw a great Bengals v Packers football game there
************ COVID update 12/5/2020While the Farmers market is still open eateries in the area are only open for take out. So don’t pay for parking unless your loading up on veggies on a Saturday morning. (Runs till 1:00)Don’t expect to sit down anywhere at the moment.Do wear a mask and do expect your meals to go.The 10 speed coffee bar is functioning regularly.
Gourmet burgers, tacos, sandwiches, salads, etc.Love the Mac and Cheese! Brisket you can cut with a fork. Not a large menu, but do everything well. Lots of good whiskey choices.
A unique and beautiful spot in old-town Calabasas (though I am not sure how old the town truly is). The brisket was good, but my favorite part was their outdoor sitting space. I thought it was really lovely and would go again.
Pedalers Fork has a lot going for it....great location, nice ambience, and a rustic setting. But for a $24 sandwich (I had the briskett) you would expect much better quality. And the mac and cheese was nothing special... Just a lot of melted cheese on shell pasta. I give this three stars only because our waitress couldnt have been more friendly and cheerful.
Pedalers Fork is highly recommended, the food was absolutely exquisite for brunch and the waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no complaints about this place, dont think they can miss on any menu item, I will be back. The setting is very chill and they even have a yoga studio upstairs as well as cycling merchandise for sale.
Their coffee is the best Ive found. Smooth. They grind their own beans.
The best vegan salad dressing 👍👍
Food wasnt very good. Especially for the price. I had smoked brisket hash, barely any meat, $29. My friend had chicken and waffles it was completely inedible. The waffle was a hockey puck and the chicken was bland. Wouldnt go back.
The ambiance and decor is great. Wait staff was super helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome. Portions were big, and the food was delicious.
Great rest point for cyclists. Water refill, easy in and out, restrooms, and a really cool bike shop.
Really hoping they open for dinner again soon! The food is wonderful— really love the healthy options for kids (not the usual junk food kids meals.) The atmosphere & architecture are beautiful — eating outside under the trees. The beer selection is great, the coffee bar is tasty and you can even get your bike tuned up while you eat. This place is a gem.
Our first time here - nice laid back atmosphere at the bar. Food was great! We were there during happy hour - ordered Brussels sprouts and the shrimp ceviche - both excellent. Drinks were awesome..the bartender made it even better! Really sweet and down to earth - thanks Shay! Hope to see you again soon.
Love this place on the creek. Great coffee/sweets in the back and good food up front. And of course they can fix a bike too!
Lovely atmosphere and respectful staff. Went in for lunch and had a great experience.
Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere. The craft beer, but in, tequila, and other hard to find items are located at this place. The frozen bar top for your beer to stay cold is a nice touch. There really isnt a bad place to sit but when its warm out, the patio outside by the stream is the place to be. .
One of my favorite pick for brunch. Youll taste the freshness in their food and the customer service is just awesome. Some of the best staff. Make sure to make a reservation online!
Frequent traveler, this place is right by the Saturday Farmer’s Market. There’s parking near by for a few dollars but it is really difficult to enter and exit. The menu consists of the usual California fare: omelette with Brie, salads with Brie and Avocado toast. The restaurant is air conditioned. There’s usually a wait so put you name down with the hostesses before you shop. The servers are friendly but the food takes its time but is worth it.
Best coffee shop I’ve ever been to in my entire life! Food is amazing!
Always a delightful experience.
Celebrated a wonderful night with my family at the Pedalers Fork last night. With the help from Becca Lazarus, the restaurant manager, who assisted us from beginning to end; Chef Dan who responded favorably to all of our requests, and made us a most tasty, beautiful and festive dinner; and Alex our friendly and dedicated, very attentive and always smiling server of the night; we had the most wonderful evening. There were 19 of us, 3 generations with different palates and likes, not an easy party to please. The private room upstairs w its extended balcony allowed us to be us, to mingle, to laugh, to eat, to enjoy, and we did A LOT - laugh, eat and enjoy:) The food was awesome!! we had appetizers, salads, main entrees and dessert, all were excellent; The Calamari, Brussels Sprouts and Fillet Mignon were favorites. The restaurant atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. So in short - team Pedaler made our night very wonderful, we will most definitely be back, and highly recommend this restaurant to all patrons.
Love how this place is so pet friendly. Id like to recommend this restaurant adding a small dog menu to their existing menu. The valley needs a place like this for all the pet owners. I did order a hamburger patty for my pup and he LOVED it. The food here is amazing and from what my friends say, the coffee is great as well.
Awesome place, I know it’s a restaurant but their design and architecture is absolutely something to see inside and out looks amazing, their food is good too.
What a fab place. It has a great energy from the moment you walk in and great service. We sat outside which was wonderful and the coffee was excellent, perfectly frothy. There were lots of options for vegans and raw eating which I loved. We only went for coffee and a sweet but had a lovely time. The photo is of the creamy raw, vegan cheescake. Prices were a little high, but what you would expect.
We had a pretty good dinner experience at Pedaler’s Fork with some exceptions.. It was our second time here (We also visited for brunch a few months back…our experience was mixed - one of us loved it and the other didn’t)This time around it was mostly positive in this bicycle themed upscale New American restaurant on the edge of Los Angeles which, for some reason, featured a child sitting under the otherwise empty table next to us. We weren’t sure if this was a regular feature and the kid wasn’t talking. The bread service was pretty good…an assortment of breads served in a cast-iron skillet (what food isn’t improved when served in a cast iron skillet?) including sourdough, pretzel bread and a zucchini style bread which reminded me of some Irish soda breads. The only issue with the bread is that it was a little soft, sort of felt like it had been heated in the microwave which, of course, no bread should ever be heated in.I also had the The Basil Julep cocktail which was tasty enough (sweet the way I like it) though I didn’t get much of a basil flavor in it. There was plenty of basil init, but perhaps it wasn’t muddled enough as it was pretty much just a visual presence..The entrees we ordered were great in terms of taste.I had the the Sweet Corn Borsettini Pasta. The little pasta pockets, with a four cheese filling, were served on a bed of sweet corn. It tasted fabulous and beautifully displayed, however it was in the end very little food. Only 7 of the small borsettinis, left me still pretty hungry at the end. $22 is pretty expensive for a vegetarian pasta dish and the amount of food on the plate didn’t seem to match that price. My wife enjoyed the Quinoa Cakes a lot. It was a beautiful vegan meal with very tasty vegetables, carrots, broccoli and shiitake mushrooms. She noted that the quinoa cake were not actually the star of the meal but it all went nicely together. Next time she’d get the aioli on the side as it was a little overpowering and too salty. We dont live particularly close, but there are only so many options of this kind of restaurant in the deep west Valley, so I don’t think this would be a destination restaurant for us, but we would probably come in again if we were in the area.
Great shop welcoming cyclists and all those wanting an escape and some wifi! My latte and brown sugar apple tart were quite good, albeit not the best latte Ive had in LA but it doesnt matter--this place is more about what is around you. If youre an avid cyclist and want to go to a place with free bike locking, a full service bike mechanic, great food, and tour riders walking about than come here (yes, actual tour riders). Prices are on the high side.
Ive been a customer of the bike shop since they began hosting donut rides back in 2016! The crew lead us on a 20+ mile mixed terrain ride up and over the Santa Monica Mountains down to the shop for coffee and donuts. If you ever get a chance to go on one of their Sunday rides, take the opportunity to join them since these guys know their local trails like the back of their hands! Sean and Derek (bike shop bosses) run the shop, and gosh darn it, theyre dang good at their jobs! If you have any questions regarding all things MTB, Gravel or Road these are your folks! Theyre both serious, avid cyclists, and you can tell that they love what they do.I work with the PF Bike Shop on a B2B level and am so stoked to be under their wing. The communication I receive from both Sean and Derek takes the cake. Service, knowledge and pure skill! This quaint shop has everything you need to keep the ride going and going and going. Cheers to being a rad bunch! Hopefully, I can make it out to a Sunday Gravel Ride soon enough!
This place is outstanding! love it!
A gem in Calabasas. The outdoor patio is surrounded by lush green landscaping neighboring a creek below. Evening twinkling lights create a magical setting. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Indoor architecture is stunning quasi industrial farm-house, decorated with clever biking mechanics. Pizzas and salads for dinner are my go to. The breakfast Peddlers Fork egg sandwich is monster. Love the shakshuka, pancakes and just straight up eggs. Lattes top off the morning. There’s a coffee shop at the back. Parking is either on the street, in the back (small lot) or at the Commons and a short walk to the restaurant.
If only I could give this place a zero star, I would. I was going to dine here today, and called to set up a reservation. The person who answered said that there is a waitlist, but they cant put me on it until I get there. I saw that they close at 3 p.m. and wanted to make sure we arrive at least an hour early. So we got there around 1:45 p.m. I walked in and was told that they are not taking any more walk-ins. I was livid. I literally dragged my family out and now I have to find another place. The manager there had an attitude which was beyond comprehension. I guess they really dont care about their patrons.I looked up their listing on Yelp and saw that there is a way to make reservation...but only for 19:00...yet the restaurant closes daily at 3 p.m. (aka 15:00) so go figure. I guess the management doesnt take time to even look at their online settings and see that they are WAY OFF. If this is how they treat customers during these horrible and challenging times we are all living in, I will not visit them when things go back to normal. What I saw today was simply horrible customer service with complete disregard or care for a patron. Shocking beyond belief.
Great place to meet people. Love the chicken and beer selection! lol
Food is wholesome and amazing! Also uses sustainable practices (no plastic - all reusable items). Great atmosphere.
Cycle here if your smart
Great spot for casual dining with friends or colleagues. Comfy outdoor seating for beautiful California afternoons. Food is delicious and contemporary. Service is friendly and attentive. Didnt try the coffee bars, but it looked delicious as well. Ill be back!
The restaurant is small but cute. Food was good. Nothing extraordinary in my opinion. The restaurant lacks of Organic food!!!I am glad I tried.(No more though).
One of the best places to hang out in the Valley. It has taken me a while to visit this farm-to-table restaurant and Im glad that I finally made the effort.
The most amazing sour dough bread. I had the brisket sandwich and it was amazing. It was so big, I took half of it home (I am 65 250 pounds. I rarely take anything home). A touch expensive but a special treat worth every penny.
The atmosphere is amazing. But I cannot even begin to describe the dish. This salmon plate is literally the best salmon dish I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly and the lemon capers were just perfect! You must try it.
Delicious coffee, very nice vibe and the staff were super friendly. There is a small but well stocked bike shop and a really cool bike rack where you can lock you bike while you visit. Bike shop guy could not have been more helpful. If you ride a road bike in LA, you need to visit here.
Amazing ambiance, service & food!! 👍
It’s been a weekly routine for me to stop by and pick up an almond croissant with a latte, amazing customer service - which makes a big difference to me, all protocols of social distance and hygiene are Implemented here, so for that kudos. You guys rock! Keep the vibe going on.
Great place, everything from the food, owner, workers r ☆☆☆☆☆....will be returning for sure...highly recommended....GOD BLESS 🙏
Great place.. coffee was amazing.. the alcoholic drinks were excellent, great selection of beers and booze...Happy hour food menu was great.. cheese pizza had serious flavor and the egg sandwich was really good. . Ill be back here for sure
Great spot even to get coffee and hang for a bit. Great menu, good breakfast choices as well as burgers. Love this spot. Great great strong coffee. Try it sometime you will be glad you did.
Three stars for the overly dramatic staff
We got Fork’d!At the 11am opening it took 10 minutes to get a table and 10 minutes to order. Food quality was ok, 2 waiters for 6 tables was no excuse for another 10 minute wait for kids to get water at the table. After our meal, took another 15 minutes to get the check.. off day or just didn’t care? Doesn’t matter, we will be pedaling to another spot next time. 10 SPEED COFFEE WAS GREAT!!! ☕️
I love the atmosphere here and it was pretty good. Somehow it’s missing that special touch I can not pinpoint. Food was tasty but something tasted very bitter on my egg sandwich. Fries were good but seem a little saturated. Service was friendly but not very warm. Overall a nice experience but was expecting something really special in such a beautiful ambiance and crafted menu.
Had the broccoli and avocado tacos. They were delicious . My partys food all looked good and there were no complaints . Wise variety of food on the menu for meat eaters and vegans alike. Wouldve given 5 stars, the service was good but wouldve preferred faster .
Really enjoyed this place. Beautiful airy and green atmosphere. Love the stream Rushing down the mountain right next to it. The food was really good and the service was excellent. Didnt know this place was here before but Im definitely going back.
Worth the trip up to Calabasas. They have something for everyone, from brisket to vegan choices. Great beer selection. Safe bike lock-up too, if you pedal in. And then there’s the coffee, Ten Speed makes a quality cup.
Charming neighborhood hangout and a lovely setting. Over hanging a creek bed outback the patios particularly lovely. Seems to be vibrant authentic human place in a Land of many malls and chains. For some reason the flavor of the coffee is not to my liking its often bitter and rather pricey. I said the baked goods Ive sampled have been undistinguished. Still a lot of atmosphere and a terrific looking establishment
From the first moment you enter that place the personel give you a pleasant feeling. Very warm crew, it is a kind restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. very good cooking, skillful chief cook and stuff, good price and generous service. Highly recommended.
Would surely recommend trying this spot. Exceptional character, flavorful food, fantastic customer service. Fantastic work.
Great COVID-19 service! Loved this place before the pandemic but theyve kept up their service even during ever changing times.
I admit I had high expectations for this restaurant as a biker, and it definitely surpassed those expectations. I got the KOM burger and I wasnt disappointed. It was rich and flavorful and filled me right up. I wouldnt recommend eating it right before a race though! The service was good, and the bike shop was very cool. I recommend this spot for any bikers who want a good burger with friends.
Great food. BBQ is fantastic. Smoker in the back emits a scent no carnivore can resit. The flavor doors not disappoint. Nice beer selection. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, great outdoor area. Liked it.
Great place
If you’ve never been here, it’s worth going just for the cool ambiance. You’ll probably go back once you go once though, because the food is great. Definitely a perfect lunch spot as the natural light is really great during the day. We got salads and chicken and both were really good
This place is worth a try. They serve large portions for fair rates. Always well organized and with great ambience. I highly recommend this place.
#eatoutsideExcellent spot. I went here for breakfast after a run in the hills. Visiting from SF. Tremendous coffee that is roasted daily. What really made it great was the very friendly and engaging people who work there.Oh, and its a super-cool environment!Im coming back.
Pedalers Fork is now open for dine-in lunch 11am-3pm daily, brunch 8am-3pm sat/sun, coffee shop 6am-3pm daily! Amazing food and lovely atmosphere.
Coffee shop, bike shop and restaurant all in one. I love this place! Great weekend brunch menu, great lunch menu. Healthy delicious food. Happy Hour starts at 4pm. Service is always good! Bartenders can pour. I like to bring my computer here and do work with their yum coffee.
Pretty outdoor space any time of day, good food.
This spot sure knows how to satisfy their customers. Constantly with a very friendly demeanor. The food is conveniently priced, constantly delicious and clean.
The menu and service were above my expectations. We really loved the ambience of this spot. Excellent spot to take the family out for lunch.
Great coffee and cute location. I was super confused trying to find it on Google maps though and had to turn around one. Eventually I just parked and explored the building to find it. Entrance is at the back parking lot of the building.
My former-bicycle-racer boyfriend and I enjoyed the theme and decorations here, and its located in a beautiful spot. Brunch and coffee were delicious with a farmers market right outside the door for us to browse when we finished. Service was fast and friendly but the food took a bit to come out. The restaurant wasnt busy at all for Saturday brunch. We will be back.
I go there as much as I can. Cant go wrong!
Pedalers fork is so fun!! Ten speed coffee is a small coffee shop located within the restaurant. You can get a coffee and work at a table, or you can get full restaurant service. The food is pricey for sure but the happy hour is fantastic. Highly recommend the kale hummus plate and the maple latte!!
A cool place. Good food choices. A little pricey.
Not bad. A bit pricey but the staff and customer service make up for that. Parking is a problem but is easily solved by parking in the Commons parking lot and walking to the restaurant.
Awesome place. Great scenery outside. Good food. Nice hangout spot.
Love this place! They have an incredible coffee shop in the back that has my favorite oat milk! Food is great
This is one of the best places in the entire United States. A restaurant, bar, coffee shop with in house roaster and small bicycle shop attached as well. A real hub of the cycling community, known across the pro racing community. The staff is top class, friendly and well skilled. The menu is excellent with good options for vegetarians and vegans. The bar has an extensive selection of whiskeys, and very good house created cocktails, and a wide selection of beers. The coffee is excellent. I cant say enough good things about this establishment. A real gem.
I really enjoyed my dinner here. Me and a few friends came here for a birthday and none left disappointed. The steak was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection
Food was very good and the service was great. They lose a star only because the prices were quite high for some of the dishes. They have lots of beer on tap.
My last visit wasnt very good... the best part about my meal was the avocado toast and I had the tri tip.. I was just really disappointed with the whole experience. The servers took forever to come over to us and werent attentive (pretty much absent), and my tri tip was cold. If I go back itll be for a drink and to watch a band but then Ill go to the six for a good dinner.
Nestled against a running creek, this wood, rustic restaurant sits walking distance from the addresses of some of the worlds most famous people. Yet it is warm and welcoming.Eggs Benedict is something I am extremely picky about. Pedalers Fork hollandiase sauce is on point.
