Normally a great business this time not so good. Had an appointment to get new tires on my travel trailer after an hour they told me they didnt have the tires for it. Said they would get them from a different store been 4 days and havent heard a word from them.Back to being great I got a call from Discount Tire the tires were in the store they had to get them from out of state and wanted to get them in before calling. Getting them installed today in time for our trip tomorrow.

They have always served me well and they know their stuff. Professional and highly recommend you go here for your tire needs.

Totally never going back here!!! I brought my car in at 8:30am for a simple tire patch. It wasn’t done until 2:30pm! I’ve been to this location many times. For new tires & patches. Never received stellar service, but never bad enough to not return. Today changed that though. The guy on the phone was really friendly when I called to complain though, so that’s something.

I have lived in Michigan for just 13 years but I have been a loyal and very satisfied customer of this shop for these years. They are the best with honesty and product and a staff that is always pleasant. You can trust them to do right by you every time.

Even though I had an appointment I stood to be waited on for more than 10 minutes once I was taking care of my vehicle was ready in less than 15 minutes good service

I always check around my car before getting in and driving. I have neon green tire caps on all 4 tires. I came here Thursday due to my tire light being on. They aired all tires. Saturday I checked around my car. The back tire on the driver side looked low. The tire caps were on all 4 tires. I drove to Discount Tire. Air was put in tire. I was told I had a slow leak. I didnt have an appointment, so had to come back. Monday I checked around my car. All tires looked good and the caps were on all 4 tires. My back tire was inspected and fixed. After I got home i noticed a black tire cap was on the tire they fixed. I called and explained to Travis my issue. He stated it was not a cap prior to them fixing my tire. I explained that I check around my car before I drive it and that all 4 of my neon green caps were there when I brought my car to them. He told me no it wasnt. I explained that I have no reason to lie about a cap. My point is check your vehicle before you leave this place. Especially women. Unhappy customer. I have to order 4 neon green caps online. A inconvenience

Anytime that I have been to Discount Tire on E. Court St. in Burton, the staff has always been courteous and helpful. They have plenty of name brand tires and different sizes in stock, also at a fair price. The day I went in to get tires, Discount Tire was jam packed with customers. But the employees were constantly busy getting vehicles in and out. It took about half the time to get tires on my truck that was originally quoted to me. For my tire needs, Discount Tire is where Ill always be going.

Ive had nothing but good experiences here, aside from everything on their website being discontinued. Now they had a 10% off when signing in I had everything ready to cash out I went out of checkout to check store availability when I went back to cart that 10% is gone now its only $84 but thats $84 I now am going to wait on tires oh well maybee Ill check the little shops out now. Why would the sale end Thursday people usually get paid on Friday anyhow. Just bad business.

Dropped off flat tire first thing in the morning after work, person was a little disoriented that I wasnt leaving car (no appnt) took a second tho got it straight said would pick up on way to work before they close.Next person was funny as well, got everything done new tire free due to the road hazard one time fee. I will always take my tires here. I have had several tires replaced under warranty and they take care of your tires for the life of the tire. Also nice because when going back and forth from California, Americas Tires is the same company and warranties travel with the car. They dont price gouge.

Ive been a regular customer with my whole family forever but after today I wont come back. Employee Brian J Birchmeier was very rude insensitive and just wanted to sell a more expensive tire.I made my appt online and purchased a tire I thought I needed but the website bad me purchase a 16 tire and apparently I needed a 18 tire. Cool fine. But when going inside he immediately tried giving me the tire I had on their previously thats fine I see where he was thinking but then when asked if there was one cheaper since I wanted one the same price he got mad. He smirked the whole time saying no the cheapest we have is more than yours and you would need the difference of $40-50.00Like okay Ive been coming here for years not sure why the price jumps so significantly like your website made the error not me. He tried nothing to help me. If anything waive the installation fee something. So Im like I will have to come back hes like you can reschedule. No give me my money!He then proceeds to insult me by offering with a smile and insincere you can try for the credit card to offset the card. Like I can afford my tires I get paid Friday the point was I bought what I thought I needed and didnt have extra set aside for a more expensive tire.He gave me a quote for 3 tires mind you only 3 it was for $568.00 WOW!!! They used to be one of the nicest and affordable places to go but if I wanted a full set it would cost over $600.00 thats insane!!! They are ripping people off who have been their customers for ever and lost their compassion.So needless to say I had to forfeight my appt got no tires was insulted more than once and will never come back. I used to do all your surveys and promote you guys but I dont think you can win me back looks like one of the many tir places around will get my business and I drive alot so if you look in your system I go there alot for tires.

Superb staff with reliable and fast service! Ive been going here for quite a few years now and each time the service never fails, staff ensures each customer is taken cafe of and it is much appreciated.

It wasnt terrible. I only wanted air in my tires and I was told to pull up in the spot to get air but, no one said anything to me for a good five to ten minutes. I was just sitting there while everyone worked around me. I was finally able to get air and the man who helped, made sure to check that I was good before I left.

These guys at work here are very customer friendly oriented. They understand the Working Man and really try to help people out.Matt, the manager, is a moral, fair man. I will ALWAYS buy my tires from them! Im a hard customer to please, So it says a lot for me to go out of my way to post this. if you are not loyal to them, then give them a try, you will not regret it!

Great experience at this location. Staff is extremely courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and most of all, organized. Needed 4 new tires and made an appointment ahead of time. When I arrived, they took care of me very quickly. I told them what I needed and they made suggestions without trying to up-sell. Was also having some electronics issues with censors tripping relating to the old, junky tires. They reset those for me and told me how to do it myself, in case it were to happen again in the future. They let me drop off my vehicle and had the job completed in about an hour. The pricing was fair and they did a great job. Couldnt be happier. Will definitely give them my business in the future.

This place was fast and service was good. The only issue was this process took two days of trying to get the tires. But Im still happy with the end result.

NOT RECOMMENDED. Took my tire here to be patched. They told me it couldnt be patched that i would need a new tire. I took it to Belle Tire on center and atherton they patched it within 5 mins.

*A warning for girls who dk about tires* i had priced match discount and belle, calling each to get the lowest price. I went with discount. When I got there I told them of my over the phone quote...1st they told me the price they gave me over the phone was for a 17inch tire, which makes no sense because I wrote down the info off of the tire and read it to them and theyre clearly 18 inch. Altho they did end up honoring the quote they then charged me an extra $13 per tire for a warranty which I was under the impression was included. Had I known the warranty was not included, I would have gone with bell tire because it would have been cheaper. So just be careful because they will try to take advantage if they can or so it seems. It mainly bothered me as a single mom for my fellow females out there who dont know any better. Dont get ripped off, ask questions.

Very quick and honored the price

I have gotten tires for both my wifes car(2011 Buick Regal)and my own (2017 Buick Encore). Then one of my wifes rims cracked and was leaking. I just got 4 rims from them. For all of it I got to sit in the car while they worked and each time they had me in and out in amazing time. The employees are all really nice and it felt like Ive been coming here for years the first time I came here.

Fair prices, very quick on the job, quality work and definitely worth the price and peace of mind. This has to be one of the best teams Ive ever seen. They work together and they work hard. Thank you to all of those involved and getting me back on the road safely.

They were friendly, professional, quick & efficient, courteous, & more than anything, I left the shop really happy with my new tires and the price I paid for them.

I have always been a Discount Tire girl but my latest visit was even better. I needed tires and was a little apprehensive about getting during pandemic. I called and spoke with Matt. He was very professional, knowledge and very reassuring. Once I got there they were ready for me at my appointment time, they came out to my car. I never got out even when they were changing tires to paying for my purchase. It was totally no contact. All employees had masks, they were all adhering to social distancing and keeping the customers feelings, and concerns a priority while they were also being safe. I really appreciate the great tires and service! Thanks again! I will never buy tires anywhere else.

Great place to go for all your tire and wheel needs. I needed a spare tire, the dealership had to order one. Went here and they got it done. Very knowledgeable about their job. I was actually greeted by an employee while walking up to the front door, ready with pen and paper to write down my tire size. That was really nice way to step up and help a customer. I don’t know if that is every time or when the are only slow but it was really nice. Looks like they get you in and out in a reasonable time frame.

I was already a fan of discount tire because of their warranty program, I have gotten way too many flat tires from Michigan roads over the years. However, the five stars today are for honesty. We pulled in and got an inspection on my tires, fully planning to buy a whole new set that day. The gentleman was kind enough to let me know that the tires still had several months before the tread was near the danger zone. He was like Ill gladly give you new ones if you want, but I just dont think you need to yet. I appreciate the candor, and will be back before winter to replace them.

Always helpful and professional, patient and understanding.I drive a lot, so often need tires just due to wear and tear.Ive gotten many sets of tires there the past 10 years or so. The staff sometimes recommends upsells, but doesnt push unneeded products and services, unlike so so many other tire/auto shops in the Flint/Burton area. I buy all my tires there and will continue to do so.

My wife, ran over a nail while driving through town, her warning light came on, she stopped at the nearest gas station to add air. Because she was 30 miles from home she stopped at the Burton store to get the tire repair. She tried calling prior to dropping in; but could not get anyone to answer the phone. So she stopped into the store and was refused service because she did not call to make an appointment; she had to take her chances and drive the 30 miles to get to neighborhood service garage for repairs. Ive been a customer for 30 years, and have bought over 25 sets of tires in those 30 years. I believe I will have to think twice before buying another set of tire from Discount Tire.

I went there to get new tires during this Covid19 pandemic. I was grateful for my safety, and happy for the employees that they were all wearing masks. They have their business down to a science; very efficient and polite. Thumbs up👍

Ive been a customer of Discount tire for quite a long time, they gave me my first set of four brand new tires at a great price! they also were there to help me with any kind of free rotation, air pressure checks and basically anything I needed. they even let me purchase a warranty after I had a hard time with my tire which is not very likely if you go to any other tire store. definitely check out Discount Tire, they our nationwide and they respect their customers and help them out anyway they can!

Matt was very helpful as far as advising me of what is safe and affordable. I had a flat and ended up needing all new tires anyways, so he helped me get set up with tires that will be comparable to what I had, better in the snow (what I specifically wanted) and priced decently. He was very respectful and helped me as soon as I stepped in the door. Every associate I encountered was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. The only complaint I would have is that I was told Id be on the road at a certain time, but when I received my paperwork after the fact, they had estimated it would be a longer wait than what I was told, and the longer wait was more accurate.

Long wait cold raining but patiently waiting. Waiting Waiting....

I first want to say that I have purchased dozens of tires at Discount Tire, recently at the Bution location and prior to their opening, at the Pierson Road location. I have received outstanding service, until today. I went to the Burton location after work to have a tire repaired because it continues to lose air and needs filled every few days. This should be a simple fix, but they wouldnt take me. I was informed that they are only taking appointments and that I should talk to a salesman about openings for the next few days, or go online to schedule an appointment. This is absurd. Since when does a tire shop refuse to fix a tire and insist on an appointment? Now, I know it will be justified because of Covid but that is wrong. I can see not having people waiting around for new sets of tires, but a simple fix of a tire leak is not the same. Im really questioning whether or not I wish to go back to Discount Tire of Burton.

I am not unhappy with discount tire as a company. I am unhappy with the location on Court Street in Burton, Michigan. I dropped my vehicle off for four new tires - originally, I wanted five but decided to hold off. I was first asked how my tire sensors were working and had replied that they were fine, although the indicator was on at the moment because I had a low rear passenger side tire. My tire sensors have been reliable ever since I’ve owned this vehicle (2013) and if they’ve gone off, it was warranted. Once I put air in my tire, the light would go off. I didn’t bother filling the tire up this time because I was just going to replace them.After dropping my car off I went home as I was working from home and was not sure how long the wait would be - I was not in a rush. I received a call about 10 am and had missed it due to a work obligation but had been left a voicemail from Charlie to call back concerning my vehicle. So I began calling back immediately. I made three attempts from the time I received the voicemail until I decided to leave it on speaker phone and drive up there to see what the issue was with my car and also concerning the unacceptable wait time on the phone. This was also inconvenient as I had to take time away from work to do so.I arrived at the store. Which was moderately busy - I’ll use a comparison in a moment to what I feel is extremely busy - there was ONE person on the phone with several employees not seemingly doing much at all. At least not enough to let the phone ring perpetually for an hour. I was greeted at the door by one of the employees. I showed him my phone, explained I been on hold for almost an hour at that point and his reply to that was: “yea, we’re just terrible with answering phones here.” Immediately disgusted by that response, I find my way to Charlie - who was casually wearing his mask under his nose. As a medical professional myself, I do not understand the sporadic policy of control for COVID at this store. You want people to pull their own cars in, or you bag the keys so you don’t touch them... but wearing a mask under your nose is okay..?I digress, Charlie informed me that when they went to change my tires, three of my sensors were “bad.” They had to drill them out and replace them and it was $60 a piece. When I told him I wished he would have waited to have a conversation with me about that, his reply was that’s why he called me. But if your establishment refuses to answer the phone, that’s not a green light to just do additional work without my authorization. Kindly, and appropriately, he waived that fee.My last issue was... my tire light was STILL on.... for three days. Charlie had told me that they couldn’t change the tires without changing the sensors. It was a safety issue. He also said the light would reset shortly which it did not. Well... if my tire light is unreliably ON that doesn’t seem to be effective either.Needless to say, I took my car to the one on Owen road in Fenton, Michigan and was treated wonderfully by two staff members (Michael and Don - about 2pm on 10/23/2020). Now when I mentioned levels of busy earlier - this store was INSANELY busy. However, both gentlemen took time aside to quickly resolve my tire indicator. Thanks to them, I will ONLY be going to that location.I suggest retaining your staff at the Court Street location - at least on how phones work when they’re ringing.

800 dollars for new tires less than 3 months and i had a tire blow out on me driving up north and the closest Discount Tire was this one....First they told me it would take 5 hours to get me back on the road. They ended up calling me in 3 hours saying it was done but i had to mount the tire myself or it would take another hour! So i decided to just do it myself but of course my jack wasnt with me...so i asked to borrow one of their many jacks for a few minutes but they said i would have to wait 30 minutes! So obviously I didnt have a good experience at this location.

Ok so I’m Katy’s husband. I only went here because my son-in-law’s car which I was dealing with had two rims on one side from discount tire. I wanted to get matching ones for the car. Told them this. Then they wanted to sell me new tires. Fine I new it was needed. I had priced them around town and was going to buy at Sam’s club. Told them if they got close I would buy from them. They proceeded to tell me how bad the Goodyear tires I was going to get are. But at a price they couldn’t reach. Then they offered me “better”tires at close price. I thought. Save time and hassle just do it. Well, then they didn’t have the wheels. I agreed to stop at the other Store next day after work and pick them up. Then dropped car with wheels in trunk off. Next day picked up car. Happy. Then I got home opened trunk and the two wheels with tires not there. I was thinking spares. Called was told I could pick them up. This was on Thursday. Friday couldn’t get there. Saturday first thing I was there. Guy at curb said he would check. While standing manager guy says those should be gone with scrap pickup already. Just about then guy comes out with rims only. No old tires still on. P.0. I took them and left. Now home and trying to reset tire pressure monitor system I can’t. I’m guessing they have been removed. This is one of the old wheels with new tire that has to be set first. Old rims I just put in the trunk no longer have the monitors on the wheels. W.T.H. No call about needing new or replacement of any bad. Nothing was said period. Never again discount tire.

I had new tires put on. Every month I had to put air in them for 5 months. Took the vehicle back they said the rims were corroded. They clean them up put sealer on it and said that should take care of it for a while. The rims are like new but they are aluminum. So time will tell but the service was good. Very polite no charge.
