I had been to Party City, Savers and Spirit Halloween trying to find a Star Wars Kylo Ren or Darth Vader costume for my 15-year-old son. We tried an adult size from Party City, but it was way too big so we returned it. Spirit had nothing; neither did Savers. Finally we checked Halloween Express. They had TONS of costumes, and we found a Darth Vader costume size 12-14 that fits. (He is small for his age.) We also found an aviator cap and goggles to go with my husbands flight suit. I looked for a Mary Poppins outfit but didnt find one; I have a witchs outfit anyway, so thats okay. They had lots of couples costumes too (cookie & milk, ketchup & mustard, Oreo cookie & filling, ham & swiss, etc. Very cute. The gal at checkout was very friendly too. Great store!

Halloween Express was more than I expected. My girlfriend wanted a unique and rare costume. The staff got her exactly what she wanted. On the other hand I was clueless as to what I wanted and again the staff helped me choose the right costume and look for me.

I think Halloween Express forgot that Halloween isnt just for adults. A majority of the decorations and costumes are disturbing and scary and I was so glad that my little one was asleep. We went to Target afterwards and they had a little more decency and had alot more age appropriate and fun decorations. Halloween Express caters more to the horror movie lovers so if you are into that you will probably love this place but if you are in to the more light hearted side of Halloween you may want to steer clear. Not to mention the prices are steep.

This is my favorite store to get all the Halloween stuff I need. I have been going to this store for many years and have never had a bad experience. Staff is super friendly and most of them know me by name. I love this store!!

I went to this Halloween Express back in October of last year (2016) and let me say, I have had poor experiences with other Halloween stores in the past, but this one was the best I have ever seen! The staff were great, and prices were super low, which is rare around Halloween, and the atmosphere was perfect to get me ready for Halloween. I would recommend that you shop here for 2017, because they are bound to have the new emoji gene costume!

We came from Duluth to get costumes for my nephews birthday. Looked online and it said it was open. Called the store and it said it was open today. Come to find out this store is not even in the Mall except in October. Would be nice if they updated their voicemail to say this and shame on the mall for listing this business as open. TERRIBLE

Do NOT come here for kids costumes. Extremely over priced! The adult section and variety in sizes are great but the kids section is ridiculous for price and you can’t return. We found an iron man costume for my son at Walmart for $17 cheaper and it has padded “muscles” where the one we got here doesn’t. My mistake for not looking there first lesson learned.

With everything thats going on in this world awhite woman that work at the Burnsville store walk up to my beautiful daughter why she was with her boyfriend an ask her were her hair fake This was very distasteful ruled and disgusting She was so uncomfortable they left I will never go to this store again I know shes telling the truth last year when I took my kids they were following us around the store

They have a good selection of the stuff youd want to put up if you want to celebrate Halloween. Great staff that are eager to help you find what you are looking for.

The Burnsville, MN location bugs me (and this review is only for this location). The hours keep changing via online and at the store itself. Everytime I call to receive a confirmation of store hours, I arrive at the location only to be turned around by a front end employee. I never know when the store is actually open!

Its dull. Not much decorations to see. If you want to buy props or decorations then find other stores.

Friendly staff and HUGE selection of costumes and accessories. Lots of licenced costumes, so just a little more expensive than i would like.
