Overall awesome experience from a person buying carpet for the first time. I went to Tim with a short time frame only 3 weeks, my house was empty and I was moving my things in in 3 weeks time (very short window to schedule carpet installation) ; I wanted new flooring before putting all of my furniture on top of it. Tim was very knowledgeable, helpful, and chill not pushy at all. Showed me multiple options for my style and multiple prices and explained the differences. After shopping around this store has one of the best prices in the area, if not the best. Also only one other supplier even said they would do that short of a time frame a lot of other stores said it was to short notice. I picked out my carpet and Tim came over the same day to measure to give me the final numbers. His installers were super kind and respectful and did a beautiful job. I had a lot of space done. They ripped out the old carpet and padding and laid down brand new padding and carpet. They also fixed multiple areas of transitions to look better and installed nice chrome pieces for them. They finished what would have took other people all day in just a few short hours. I only give 4 stars because once the old carpet and padding was ripped up there was a lot of animal hair and some dirt around the rim of the rooms from the people who had lived there before over the years. I asked if they were going to vacuum it up before laying down my new carpet. They only had a vacuum for after laying the carpet down and it didn’t have a hose attachment. So I took my vacuum with a hose and vacuumed the rim of the entire house to get the dirt and animal hair out of the way. I didn’t want it under the new flooring. Also after a few weeks I noticed a bump in my basement carpeting, not sure how or why but am sure it was a minor mistake, I’d dint even notice for a few weeks. I’m sure they would come back to fix it but I’m so busy I never even called them to let them know and left it. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. I would go to this store again for sure. Good service and good quality at a good price.

I went to Tim Stegall carpet looking for some value priced carpet for my home in Elko. Tim was very helpful and suggested a cheaper carpet that would suit my needs. He had his installer Mario come and do the installation. He was great and cleaned up completely after the job. The installer showed up on time and the installation was perfect. I like to support the little man business against the big dogs in the business even if it cost me a bit more, to my surprise when I stopped at Tim Stegall Carpet I not only got a better deal than the other stores but also he had tons of inventory available to see and feel. The other places only had small samples and carpet had to be ordered with a wait time avg of 5-7 business days. Carpet installation was installed within 48hrs as promised, people doing the installation were very professional. We had a great experience with Tim Stegall Carpet!! I hate giving my money to the big box store and always look first for the local places. My wife and I had Tim replace the carpet and hardwood through out our home. After shopping around and taking some samples home we found Tim to have the best pricing and quality flooring for our project. He was very professional and gave us a top notch professional remodel. He even personally installed our carpet! Its been years since we have had our flooring replaced and it looks beautiful!! Thanks Tim for the great experience! Tim is a great guy. Hes honest and straightforward and just a nice guy. His prices are reasonable. He wont try to gouge you. He runs the store six days out of the week and even does his own installs (carpet) on Mondays. I liked the idea that the one who is selling you the carpet is also the one coming to your house to install it. He has another installer who works the whole week and we didnt get a chance to meet him, but I trust that if he works for Tim, then hes probably a good guy, too.Tim arrived promptly as expected Monday morning, and finished that day, even though he initially thought it would take him a day and a half. We are really pleased with the finished product. Oh, and did I mention that hes a dog person? (Unfortunately, our dog isnt a people person :-) )

Do not use a credit card at this store. This man under charged on carpeting and a week later he charged the difference without authorization. We would not have minded paying, it was a small amount, with that said, it is fraud to run a credit card without prior authorization. He claimed he had no contact information for my husband. Doesnt matter, he should have eaten the 20.00. Buyers beware!!!!!

I went to Tim Stegall Carpet needing new carpet for my entire house. Tim helped me choose the right carpet for my needs. Im only going to be in my house for a few more years and I didnt want to re-carpet when I sell. I selected a carpet that would still look good in 5 years without breaking the bank now. Tims installer, Mario showed up on time and did a very professional installation. I would highly recommend this business.

Tim is definitely an expert at his trade. He knows everything there is to know about carpet from the contruction of it to the installation of it. We were under a very tight time constraint and Tim went the extra mile to get us what we needed at a very decent price! I would recommend Tim to all my friends and clients.

Carpet pad was horrible. Hard as a rock. Better quality if you go to Home Depot. I paid extra for an upgrade and my floor feels like I am walking on cement. He tried to blame it on the carpet itself.
