We recently completed a kitchen remodel after being referred to Kona Cabinetry and Design. After speaking with Jonathon, he came up with two design options for our space and both were gorgeous. We opted for the project that involved taking down a wall and creating a wall of cabinets and window bench. The final product was better than we had dreamed of. The wall of cabinets and bench are our two favorite parts of the project and the kids love sitting and looking out the window. Johnathon and his team at Kona Cabinetry are excellent, and hit timelines unheard of in the world of cabinetry/counters. We just completed a project where cabinets were ready within 2 weeks of order, and counters were installed within 1 1/2 weeks of site measure. Oftentimes were quoted 6 weeks for cabinets, and an additional 3 weeks for tops. A huge time savings, without sacrificing quality. Give them a call today!

Where to start...Hired this company to do our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops. Everything was fine up until we paid and placed our order. We were told it would take roughly 8 weeks, it took 12. Understandably, the initial delay was due to COVID. However, when we finally received our first delivery, our bathroom vanities were not included. This was never communicated to us. We had to call the owner only to find out our bathroom cabinets werent coming in for another 3 weeks. This now delayed our entire project. After 3 weeks, we finally got our vanities only to have issues. We ordered a 75 vanity for our spare bathroom and we got a 68 vanity. When I talked to the owner about this, he blamed our builder stating he probably threw them away. That didnt happen. I requested a refund for the difference. Initially he agreed, but after weeks of waiting and not getting a check we followed up to which he said he wasnt going to issue one. After we threatened legal action, again he said hed mail a check. We have STILL not received our money, 5 months and counting. The size of air gap hole was drilled incorrectly into our kitchen countertop. Our plumber (and every other plumber we talked to) agreed that the size should be 1 3/8. The hole in our countertop was 1 1/4. We again talked to the owner about this issue and he claimed that Leroys Plumbing installed a 1 1/4 air gap, but no other plumber in the Twin Cities? Questionable. This was just ANOTHER sad excuse from him and his failure to not take responsibility. We had to get another countertop company to make the air gap the appropriate size (who also confirmed that it should be 1 3/8). This is just a snippet of the problems we had with them. Deliveries were never on time, cabinet pieces were missing,wrong cabinet styles were sent, etc.

Great service, price and quality! John B. handled all my questions, delivered an excellent design option and overall provided cabinets that the wife loves! Cant beat that!

Working with Kona has been fantastic. John was great to work with throughout the whole process which got dragged out due to COVID and my own renovations taking longer than expected. Also was able to get my whole set of cabinets, quartz countertop and sink purchased and installed for just over $2500. Its not a huge kitchen, just one wall but you really cannot beat that price for the quality of product and service they provide.Highly recommend!
