Had a breakdown on a recent road trip to Florida and had to contact numerous local mechanics and repair shops before finding one willing to partially fix the problem. Continued having similar issues back home here in Burlington till I finally contacted Accurate Automotive. They not only quickly diagnosed the problem, but—wonder of wonders—were actually willing to fix it! And much faster and cheaper than I anticipated. Hello, I have used Accurate Automotive for almost a decade, and have always been very satisfied with their workmanship and quality. I especially want to thank Brian for his attention to detail. For example, he recently mounted/balanced tires (20 high performance tires), reported that he was able to achieve ~4 lbs roadforce readout on each (which is pretty low - usual threshold is ~20 lbs). I had new tires overnighted to Accurate Automotive and they called me as soon as they arrived at their shop to schedule the installation appointment. They were flexible as far as timing for my appointment, had my tires out and ready for installation when I arrived at the shop, and actually expedited the installation as I had mentioned having to be somewhere right after the installation was completed. They wanted to make sure I wasnt late. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

The woman who was sitting at the front desk greeted me immediately with a smile She walked me through the process of the service I was receiving, and told me that they would call when my car was ready. I gave it some extra time, longer than I realized, and I didnt get a call so I checked in with her and my car was almost done so I waited for a few minutes and then I got in my Chilly car. I have to return next week for a follow up to make sure that I dont have a leak. So far so good. I thought it was pricey, but what do I know, not to mention they gave me an appointment that day and it was hot! Ill return.

Had it towed to Accurate after the previous repair shop had the car pulled apart for 3 weeks and still had no answers as to why it would not stay running. Brian diagnosed the problem quickly and gave the car a full inspection to make sure I was sending my son back to college with a car that would be reliable. Brian explained every detail of what the car needed, along with a price of each service. Car was fully fixed, along with an inspection sticker in 2 days. Highly recommend!

My car had shutoff while driving twice. This was a few days after getting an oil change at the dealership. It felt odd to me so I went to Accurate to see the problem. Turns out it was loose battery wires. Cost me $60.00. I appreciated the openness and honesty. I just assumed it was going to be an alternator and in wouldn’t have been any wiser. I’ll be leaving the dealership and going here for maintenance from now on.

I had this place install breaks for my car which are fine as of right now. I also had them install an intercooler for my car ( The owner said yes, we can install that for you no problem we have techs that have over 30 years of experience) after receiving my car back the air conditioner did not work anymore, also the car was running extremely hot. When I got home I opened up both coolant reservoirs to notice that they did not even fill the car with coolant after the installation at all. They also said they tested the car and it felt fine so now im they didnt cause serious damage to my engine.

Car battery died while sitting for too long during the isolation, called them at 10am, they got me right in, managed the “touch less” drop off, and had the car back by noon. They had tested the battery, alternator and excess draw - simple battery replacement at a fair price! No issues, no hassles, excellent service. Will definitely be keeping their number and would recommend in a heartbeat.

I only wish I could give them six stars!! I had an emergency with a flat, not only did they get the tires by the next morning but offered to give us a ride home. Brian was helpful, polite and fast. True to his price quote and professional. Jill in the office was courteous polite and helpful . Called about replacing the tires on my Jeep. Brian didn’t have the right tires in stock at his location but said he could get them in same day. True to his word, tires arrived that day and he completed the job. Excellent service, quality work, and just an all around pleasant experience. We chatted about Chicago deep dish and portillos hot dogs. I’d go back just to shoot the breeze.

I was able make arrangements to replace a tire on very short notice. The service was excellent, my issue was promptly attended to, the price was very reasonable and the work was top rate. I will keep Accurate Automotive in mind for my future needs.

After having an “eh” experience with another place in Burlington I asked around and was directed to Accurate. I will always come back here. I don’t know anything about cars and Brian did a great job of explaining and helping me understand. I could not be more please with the service and help I received last week. I was long overdue for an oil changed and starting on a long road trip. When I called for an oil change appointment, they were slammed but fit me in the same day just to keep us all safe. I felt a lot better driving with my car in good shape, and that they went out of their way to accommodate me on less than an hours notice was amazing. Well run business, excellent people.

I purchased some new rims for my car. I was nervous about getting tires mounted on these rims because they are pvd chrome and will scratch if not done carefully. Ive been to Accurate before so I trusted them to handle it. I purchased 4 new tires to go on the rims and their price was very competitive. I couldnt be happier with their work. The rims look great!!

Excellent service! Drove in at 7 am without an appointment for a break problem. Left at 7:05 with a loaner car so I could keep all my appointments. They called at 8 am with diagnosis and price quote. Car was ready by noon ! My old place probably wouldn’t even have looked at it by then. My new go to for auto repairs!

Great Experience. I hit a rock on I495 and blew out my tire. Thankfully I was due to replace all 4 tires anyway. Accurate Auto recommended a few options, explained the pros/cons of each, quoted a decent price, drove me to work and had me back on the road by end of day.

Fantastic service, prompt and great consultation.They told me what the fault was (excessive force on one tire, balance out), exactly what they did (rotation, balance, research to see if spares are available), and what my options are - all this for a simple wheel balance.If I was at anywhere else they’d just say “yeah we did the job here’s your keys”, or baffle you with nonsense. Not these guys. You know exactly what work was done, and why.Definitely would recommend their services again.

I have been to this auto repair shop on a number of occasions throughout the years.The service is great, and Brian runs a good shop. On most occasions he has been able to do the work, and in some instances has told me the repair should be covered by my warranty which saved me quite a lot of money. I feel Brian is very trustworthy, and I would highly recommend his repair shop.

I have used Accurate Automotive for at least 15 years. I feel very comfortable knowing that if my car needs something they let me know and if it doesn’t they let me know that as well. Just this week I had them check my brakes, they felt funny to me but I was told no, the brakes are fine. If I was told I needed brakes I would have had the work done but Brian was honest with me. That’s why I keep going back.

In the middle of a snow storm I realized one of my run flats was exactly that...flat. I called the dealership who I have been bringing my cars to since 05 and couldn’t get in until next Wednesday. I called Accurate because they were close to my work. They got me in, even though they were slammed...barely had room In Their parking lot! Had my car back by late afternoon. Great customer service! So I brought my car in because my right front tire has a slow leak the garage determined that there was a nail stuck in there put a plug in it resealed it and I was good to go they also noted that there was a stem issue in a SEAL issue on the left front tire recommending that I get that adjusted as well the cost was more than reasonable the service was so quick I barely had enough time to chat with the owner Brian but while doing so it was all good highly recommend this garage to anybody needing any type of repair and Im sure if I need another Ill be back

First let me start off with saying I don’t normally do reviews or even look at them for that instance because I like to gather my own opinions but my experience was to good not to share. I went in this passed Monday morning with no appointment hoping to get two new tires. I wasn’t able to stay for to long as I had to be at work so I didn’t think I would be able to get it done. Well wouldn’t you know it not only were they beyond friendly they kept my car and brought me to work. WAIT! There’s more. Not only did they drop me off two of the employees came and dropped my car off to me. I’ve never seen such amazing service and will definitely be back.

I had to get a tire replaced. I was given two options, a $55 and a $75. Asked for the cheaper one, and they ended up getting me and charging me the expensive one. Also, their secretary (?) wasnt open to answering my questions or give me any sort of information to the service they had done.Yet they got the job done and Brian (the mechanic?) was very knowledgeable.Update: they reached out to me, apologized and issued a refund, so Im bumping up one star.

My right rear tire froze up on Rt 128 and I pulled off the highway and saw Accurate Automotive. I was driving a Jeep while towing a trailer with a motorcycle. Brian looked at my car at 5:00 PM and said it would take a day to get parts. He helped me find a rental truck so I could get my trailer back on the road. My wife and I have been taking our vehicles here for service for a number of years. Lets face it, finding a reputable mechanic is not easy. Anytime you have to take your car in for service, you feel as though you are at their mercy. Well not here. Jill and Brian are great to deal with and from my experience they run an honest business. Ive had my previous car in for service several times and never felt they were being unreasonable. Now I have a new car and this is the only place I want to bring it in for maintenance. There have been multiple times when I felt they were going ablove and beyond to please their customers. My Mazda decided its brakes were not going to work any longer. Brought it to accurate and they gave me what I thought was an expensive quote for a service. After taking it over with the mechanic (owner?) He explained what needed to be done and seemed really genuine. Got my car back and its working perfectly. The job was on the more expensive side and I felt like they took care of my car without robbing me. Really great place and straight forward. Will be back for any repair needs.

Went here for a tire plug and they said it would charge 34-50$. They were also kind of rude when I mentioned that the price was high. I went to Town Fair Tire and got it plugged for FREE. I only had to pay for balancing the tires which was $6.Edit: so they deleted their comment from here

I cant say enough good things about Brian; he is one of the most honest kind people I have ever met. He took my car on as a challenge after two years of multiple people trying to figure out what was causing the check engine light to go on. He promised he would figure it out and he did! Very happy I called Accurate Automotive.I spoke with Brian the owner and was amazed at how quickly he was able to see me and diagnose my car. I e-mailed them, and within ten minutes my cell was ringing! I was at the shop in fifteen minutes from then, and 45 minutes later I am driving away with a new thermostat. He even installed the one I bought intending to do it myself. I am glad I didnt attempt it! A very honest mechanic, a rare gem. Have been taking my car here for years. As other reviews have said they are great with customer service, and very honest about needed repairs versus what is not needed. For example last year during pre winter service I said I think all 4 tires should be replaced. They said no, I could probably get another year on them. I was prepared to pay for new tires, and they said wait. Just went back for annual service and got the new tires.

We brought our car here for an oil-change, to get a couple tires replaced, wheel alignment, to replace ball joints & inner and outer tie rods, and also to get our safety inspection done. Had a good feeling all the way through. Charges on labor were fair, they didnt fabricate unnecessary repairs, and our car was ready the next day. Would recommend!
