I literally followed Michelle Davis in service when she was transferred to Burlington from Greensboro and I am not surprised at all to see her promoted to leadership. I will continue to go to her for my service needs on my 2015 Sorento whenever she is available. She always explains everything that was taken care of in detail and in a way the customer can comprehend. She answers all my questions with patience and professionalism. She possesses strong knowledge of the vehicles and she clearly knows what she is talking about. After they complete whatever service is necessary, she then informs me of what will need to be addressed next based on their assessment during the service. If more than one job needs to be done, she will tell me which is more urgent based on safety and reliability. She won’t try to persuade you to have something done just to increase the bill. She’s gone above and beyond for me, especially when times were tough financially. She’s always tried to get me the best price on everything and she’s very honest. I know she has a loyal customer base and she’s always so busy because she is in high demand. But she will always give you the time you need with her to discuss the car. She is darn good at her job and it shows.
The sales team did a great job with my car deal. Nicholas was my salesperson, he provided upfront pricing no gimmicks or tricks with the paperwork. We agreed to a deal and completed paperwork. No additional pressure in the finance office. I was expecting the worse battle from previous car buying experiences. I am happy, thanks for the quality service.

Nothing but problems from day 1. I purchased a used vehicle, in cash, from this dealership on 8/14. The sales person attempted to give me a different price than their online advertisement reflected. That didn’t work. On 8/15 the check engine light comes on. This was the first of many signs to come. With 8/15 being a Sunday, I had to wait to call on Monday. I make the first call on Monday morning requesting to speak to the general manager. Good luck with that as they hide him/her from you at all costs. Finally got someone on the phone who was able to get the problem addressed. Bought an extended warranty and had to call back to get that paperwork. Now, over 30 days later, no tag. Call back again and their title department doesn’t know what has happened. After 3 phone calls and lots of screaming and cussing by me, SURPRISE, they have the tag. I will NEVER buy a car from this place again nor recommend anything except to stay away from this place to anyone who will listen.
Called about a car that was available on their website multiple times. Scheduled time for a test drive and checked availability 40 min before arrival. But when I arrived, the sales person said it sold 3 mins ago. Stay far away. Not worth these kind of gimmicks

She has never disappointed me and she has never left me without knowing exactly what is going on with my vehicle. Car has warranty issue and kia dosnt have parts to fix the car. A couple months before that a blown moter with only 80k miles and kia wouldnt help at all. I would buy a different brand of car
UPDATE 8/20/2021: The first service was great for both cars!UPDATE 4/5/2021: Within three weeks of buying my car the dealership mailed me a notice that my tags had arrived. I went to the dealership and a salesman saw me pull up with my 30 day tags, he immediately asked if I was there to pick up tags, he took me inside, gave me my paperwork, and put the new tag on without hesitation, now thats service! My wifes registration came in the mail within one week of buying the car, the dealership continues to shine. I have 38.3 mpg on SOUL for a 102 mile trip that included city driving.UPDATE! LOVED our experience so much, the salesman Juan Lopez, the product, and price we went back and decided to make it a Kia home. Still being surprised by our Kia.THE ONLINE EXPERIENCE: I dealt with Ashley online. Ashley responded quickly to my questions and was the first person to take the extra effort to consider my online offer and to get a sales manager to make a counter offer. The encounter was encouraging as a consumer to know the dealership was willing to make a deal. Ashley was also willing to arrange my visit around my prior commitments.THE SALESMAN: I was met by Juan Lopez upon my arrival. Although the original car of interest did not have the features I wanted Juan found the car that did. Juan was polite, patient, and accommodating to my concerns and needs. Juan listened to my needs and worked towards making a deal that I could be happy with. There was not a lot of going back and forth to secure my offer. At the conclusion of the sale Juan took the time to go over the features and to program my phone with the car. Juan followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was OK and to make sure any concerns I had were addressed.THE FINANCIAL OFFICER: This was the quickest finance signing I have ever done. The paperwork was in order and consistent with the agreed upon terms.THE DEALERSHIP: I had some questions and a sales manager contact me in a timely fashion. The manager was attentive to my question and left me feeling that the dealership works as a team to ensure a positive customer experience.THE CAR: I had researched the Kia car extensively before I bought it and was aware of the possible pros and cons. After driving the car I feel the car exceeded my expectations in quality, driving, and features. I drove my first trip through Raleigh to the beach and got an average mpg of 37.3, not using cruise control. I discovered more features on the car that exceeded other more costly vehicles we own, noteI bought a Kia in mid range of the model . The Kia warranty is one of the best in the industry.OVERALL: I would return to the dealership for future purchases and look forward to the service department experience.
I HAD TO GIVE IT ONE STAR IN ORDER TO POST THIS COMPLAINT. BUT IF IT WERE UP TO ME, THERE WOULD BE A NEGATIVE STARS OPTION!!!!!!!!!I just received a call from my 76-year-old mother telling me that she recently got her car serviced here and since the moment she started her car & left the lot, her car has been making a loud noise. She found out that her catalytic converter HAS BEEN STOLEN. It WAS NOT running that way prior to her taking the car to KIA to be serviced. I believe someone who works there is a thief!!! Whoever is in charge should be ashamed of themselves for even letting her take that car off the lot. I dont want to hear any excuses from anyone talking about I wasnt aware. Either someone isnt doing their job properly, or they knew about it & ju$$$$$t didnt care. This is not the first time she has had MORE problems AFTER her car has been serviced here. Being up in age & frustrated, she rarely challenged it because she thought the car was just troublesome overall. She has been taken advantage of & I am highly upset about it. PLEASE THINK LONG & HARD before bringing your vehicle here!
No clue how they have such good reviews. They are garbage. They ride you hard so you buy a car, but once they sell it, good luck getting even decent customer service. Impossible to even get a simple question answered even after days of calling. Go somewhere else lol

I had no problem with that but the Kia team was apologizing for being 3 minutes late. I thought that’s customer service right there. They paying attention to the little details that included my time. Today makes 3 weeks since Ive sold my vehicle to this Dealership. However I still I have not received my payment for it. I was told it could take up to 2 weeks which is passed. Ive called multiple times trying to figure out the status of it and an explanation but the only people that will talk to you are the sales people and they need the finance department to look into it and say they will call me back. Well this makes the 3rd time no one will call me back. Currently I would not recommend selling or trading anything here. It just makes a big headache.

Made an appointment with the sales manager to see a particular car, & immediately drove almost half an hour to go see this particular car. Got to the lot & was followed by a sales person before we were even out of our car. Told them we had an appointment to see that particular car. He acted like he had no idea they even had that model on the lot & had to go ask about it. Came back & said that it had just been sold & that it was unprofessional to even let us look at it. What was unprofessional was either selling a car out from under someone in less than half an hour without even a courtesy call to let me know, OR lying about having that particular vehicle on the lot to begin with. We did not see that car being detailed & serviced as they claimed it was for the buyer. It was also supposedly a brand new, 2022 with only 9 miles on it, & when I talked to the sales manager right before arriving at the lot, they claimed it didnt even have a price set on it yet. We honestly think they thought if they got us to the lot they could sell us something else. Unfortunately for them, we didnt need a new car, but we wanted that car, & were prepared to buy that car, & only that car. They have 100% lost our business now, now because if they do get a new one in, because of the terrible first impression & customer service we recieved.
I went in to have several things taken care of on my car. Dustin checked me in and explained how long it was going to take. He offered a complimentary tire rotation and four point inspection. I asked him to check my tires to make sure none needed to be replaced. My husband and I had not eaten, yet. Dustin called for a complimentary Uber ride to a restaurant and back. And also that he would call when my car was finished. I didnt need new tires, yet. And he suggested to replace them with the next oil change. He was very helpful and attentive to me and my car. I will for sure be back!

Wouldnt recommend. I havent made my first payment and it still has the temporary plate on it but I already had to spend $700 on a brake job. They ensured me that the brakes were serviced but when I got the Carfax after my purchase it specified *rear* brakes serviced. The internet sales team took days between calls and messages to get me any info, and then the price and details changed once I arrived at the dealership. The car was detailed before we arrived and again after we purchased it but they missed the same things both times so I just cleaned it myself. The salesman, Nick, was actually the only good thing about the whole experience. If we werent searching for a specific model we definitely would have went elsewhere.
Terrible experience. I talked with Ashley via email, text and multiple phone calls about a specific vehicle we were interested in buying. I made an appointment for the same day, and she was aware that my husband and I were driving from over an hour away. When we got to the dealership, we found out that the car we had discussed had been sold the day before - and in fact was never even IN BURLINGTON (it had been at a Kia dealership in Greensboro, apparently)!The sales team could not have cared less that we had driven from out of town for a vehicle that was never there to begin with. They didnt even offer to call the Greensboro dealership for us - just said oh, sorry - you can call them if you want. I understand that mistakes happen but the lack of customer service was appalling. I will never be returning and would absolutely not recommend Burlington Kia.

We came and asked for a specific car. It was already sold so we left our info in case similar car would show up on the lot. Three weeks later, I noticed the car that we wanted online in their inventory (they never reached out), so I called, to the same agent that we left our info, was told that car is available! We came in 30 minutes, the car was already sold, the agent apparently didnt know about it for whatever reason. While on the lot, we checked another car, we liked it, the car war priced at 22.5k, to buy we needed to pay 25k, so they charge 2.5k in fees, after negotiations, they offer a discount of $60. We left, and we already bought our car from a different dealer in Burlington, similar price but the fees were around $1000. Stay Away!
Have never had a bad experience here. From making the appointment for the oil change and recall to the time the guy walked me to my car when it was done. Everyone is always courteous and informative. Highly recommend buying a car from them.

DO NOT GO HERE THEY PULL YOUR CREDIT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION! I literally stated I did not want my credit pulled over 20 times and I did not sign anything at all for it to be pulled when the paper was presented to me! The head person told me when I came back in to address the issue that it was on stand by. How is it on stand by when Im notified of the pull. Mind you I told them I had a representative at my bank that was handling the coverage for the vehicle and nothing need to be pulled or submitted. Yet as Im walking out due to the agreement made for a vehicle not being met I get a notice about a credit pull. When I said something to the manager he tells me it did not drop my score. I tell him Im looking at the points deducted and he still deny it. Never again!!!

Went to this dealership with interest in trading in my vehicle for a used one on their lot from edmunds and CarGurus. Was also told that I could possibly get higher than the kbb cash offer (dealer offer was significantly lower). Looked the vehicle over and test drove it, everything was great. Went to talk numbers and was asked what I would like the payment to be…(which was totally reasonable and doable for the advertised price) it was after I answered that I found out the actual price of the vehicle was almost 7k over the advertised price. After reviewing initial numbers I decided to back out after not meeting any of their special requirements to achieve the advertise d price. I was expecting to get my keys back and go on about the evening… I did not get my keys back and was promptly told that I didn’t know what I was looking at or what I was trying to trade in and that I wasn’t willing to be flexible in payments. The salesman the. Tried to present another offer ignoring requests to get my keys back. Finally got my keys back after what must’ve been 10 requests between my wife and myself. I was pretty insulted by the experience, will not return and will not recommend.
Kenston Taylor went above and beyond for me during my buying experience. He kept in contact with me and always did what he said he would do and took care of things he said he would. The sales manager was totally unprofessional and unfriendly. He even at one point claimed my vehicle may not be the one for me after I asked for work to be completed that he had previously said would be. Kenston was so embarrassed that he personally handled every thing from that point and I’m sure he went out of his own pocket on some things. He deserves to be in management there as he made me feel valued, appreciated and a guest not just another customer.
Nice facility. Liked the Kia Forte GT. Pricing felt deceitful due to not qualifying for all dealer discounts even though the quote over the phone made no mention of discounts, only the price. Also got hit with a lot of the typical sales person what do I have to do to earn your business...if I can do X, do we have a deal speak pretty hard. Not sure Id go back.
Hopefully this saves someone some hassle in the future. They are exactly what you are weary of when you think about going to a car dealership. I asked if they could extend their promotion to the model I was interested in. One manager and one associate confirmed a total of THREE times via email that everything was on the level and I should come down. I live an hour away, so I called the manager prior to UBER-ing out there to verify a 4th time, and he re-confirmed. When I got there, a different guy told me that the terms we had agreed to were not possible, and that I would have to pay more or downgrade (EXACTLY WHAT I WAS AFRAID OF HAPPENING). I told them theyd either honor the terms or Id walk, and they gave me (half) of my total UBER fare as compensation for my time. Take your business elsewhere.

The sales process for my new car went so well. I was so happy when I left the dealership. Everything ran so smoothly. 6 weeks later they still have not filed the proper paperwork to get my plates transferred with the DMV. I have no registration and my plates do not match my car. I also had to put a new transmission and radiator in it after 1700 miles. Now to make matters worse at 2700 miles its leaking fluid again. They did the work under warranty, but still talk about losing all faith in your new car to be reliable. They also have put me off several times when I try and get the DMV issue resolved. So now here I sit, with a brand new 2021 car that is unreliable and a Notice from the DMV saying the insurance has lapsed on my old car and I need to provide proof I sold it. Also I got a renewal notice for my old car which I traded in. What a hassle. Worst part is they say they are trying to get it resolved but here I sit three business days later without a single piece of information that says they are resolving this for me.
Delivered a new car with damage, expect me to rearrange my schedule to have it looked at because the one guy only works Tuesdays. Promised 3 years oil changes free with purchase of new vehicle then refuse to honor it because I didnt mention it during the sales process... their offer... I didnt mention... that they offered... without conditions. Cannot recommend a company that will lie to you and make you feel like youre inconveniencing them when they made the mistake.
Went to Burlington Kia, my Kia had an issue and I didnt want to go where I normally go. The service was great. On my way home I had to turnaround and go back for another issue that came up after the initial problem was solved. I have to say, they did a great job. Salesperson and sale experience were awesome. Maintenance experience..not so much...beware of the advertised special about free oil changes. It is NOT automatic and you should read the extreme fine print and every disclaimer!! If you get a good deal on the car, the oil changes may be eliminated. Make sure you ASK and get a certificate BEFORE closing your deal, otherwise, its not happening!!

When I came into the Kia lot everyone who I meet was helpful and very welcoming & courteous. Chekeria Hankins was very open and honest. I told her what I was looking for, my budget and my non negotiables. This was my first car purchase and she made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. I’ve been to other Kia dealerships but this one was by far the best environment and team.
