Restaurant and marketing of Italian products, it is characterized by its delicious pizzas, its lasagna of different flavors. Exquisite imported wines, and rich pastas prepared with a delicious flavor. In its decoration you cannot miss Pinocchio, alluding to the name of the place. and prompt attention. I always visit it when I feel like a delicious pizza or a vegetable lasagna, I recommend it.
They dont need any more positive reviews. Theyre always busy because their food is amazing. Always worth the drive. The gelato is so creamy its gotta be criminal. Theyve kept a good ambiance for an overall good dining experience. Lots of great beverage options too
Under $8 for a large Italian combo sandwich with fresh deli meats? Yes please and thank you. I came here at 3pm on a Thursday and lucked out, there was only a few people inside and I hopped skipped and jumped right up to the front of the line. Absolutely fantastic sandwich - simple and uncomplicated, with high quality deli meat and cheeses and a delicious tomato spread. I actually dont like tomatoes and was so pleasantly surprised that I liked it on my sandwich (its diced tomatoes marinated in oil and vinegar with dried herbs like oregano).Ill definitely be back to try other sandwiches, and the meatballs looked phenomenal too. Also have to go back to try the fresh mozzarella for sale in the deli. Seeing all the boars head meats, cafeteria style Italian foods, and fresh mozzarellas behind the deli window case made me think of the neighborhood Italian delis you find in New York. Cant wait to try everything on the menu.
One of my favorites. Great deli products and their prepared foods like the lasagna and egg plant are superb. Also great cookies and a wide variety of other products for preparing food at home.
My husband and I stopped here after landing in Burbank, irritable after a TSA patdown and starving after being shuffled around airplanes and airports. I googled Italian Near Me and found an article about Pinocchio being a quick, affordable local favorite so we decided to try. It did not disappoint! We had the macaroni with sausage, peppers and red sauce and the butternut squash ravioli with pink sauce. Both were SO GOOD. We literally just sat and ate in silence. We also got a side salad that was super fresh with the best vinaigrette dressing Ive ever tasted. And they really go to town on the garlic bread, I think thats because their sauces are so delicious they know youre going to want to soak up every bit.The ordering is cafeteria style but theres a nice seating area with lots of comfy booths in a little dimly lit section with checkered tablecloths and what look like vintage pictures of the Pinochio childrens book.Service was super fast and food tasted fresh. Lots of great options for kids also including custom pizzas.Next to the restaurant theres a little market with lots of authentic Italian goods, we picked up some Chianti and angel hair noodles for the vacation rental. Lots of fresh cheeses and meats too.Definitely will be back here next time were in Burbank!
Loved the meat lasagna with meat sauce! I use to come here and in 40 years the quality is the same! Wish I had Monte Carlo in Miami!
Love this restaurant, and so it would seem - everyone else does, too. Always a line but they go super quick. Great prices and food that is very Italian.
I really enjoyed this place. It is an old school Italian restaurant / Deli. Highlights include the good old fashioned meatball sandwich and spaghetti. Also the pizza is amazing!!!It is like stepping into a scene from the sopranos.
My family has been going to this market since my grandparents immigrated from Italy. Great customer service. Quality of imported products and meats/cheeses/in house products are superb. Highly recommend buying all of your products here for a delicious homemade Italian meal! I have not tried to restaurant, only bought from the market. The gelato is delicious, along with all the other desserts they sell!
Got the chicken Alfredo, bottle of wine, cheese and crackers. It was delicious . Portion was big so I ate it for lunch and dinner 🍷🍝
This is yet another place that Ive been going to for a while. The art in the walls especially in the backroom. Some of their food I wouldnt recommend like the spinach ravioli due to the filling being too watery, but the rest of the food is so good that it overshadows the bad by far.
The food was amazing. The true gem in my opinion though, is the sausage and cold cuts from the deli.
I Use to love this restaurant! I HATE it now !The way we were treated last night on my Birthday was horrible! My family and friends traveled over an hour to be treated like garage over nothing! We went Last night and were harassed by some very aggressive table staff all because we moved ONE table to accommodate our larger party and to comply with Social distancing away from another group. The table staff was extremely rude to us and harassed us the rest our meal. We then brought the issue to the owner who told us that this isn’t the place for us. We have been loyal patrons for over 10 years! I am so Disappointed and Disgusted with their behavior I cried ! This is how they treat their customers? I will never go there again!!!!!!!! Screw you Pinocchio restaurant ! Your fake wooden nose has grown so long that you have lost sight of what is truly important ! Your customers !!! -0 Stars for you 🤬😭😤😩☹️😰🤭🤥🤢🤮 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤕
Monte Carlos Pinocchio is one of our top five restaurants to go to in Burbank. Best pizza by far I have ever had... except for the Margarita pizza from Naples, Italy, but that is really hard to compete with. Let’s just say best I have ever had in the US. And it helps to live within a 5 minute walk of the place. Their Pinocchio Chef Salad is awesome also. I took my son to here for his birthday last year and he got the Chef Salad. The next time we went out to eat, all he wanted was to come to Pinocchios and get it again. My wifes favorite it is Potato Gnocchi with Pesto Cream sauce. The Eggplant Parmigiana & Sauce is the best I have had... which is the case with just about everything here.
One of the best hidden gems of Burbank. I do like their food options at the restaurant, and their to go menu. The sandwiches are really where its at! Very affordable, very tasty. Do they do have a lot of options, they are willing to mix and match if you ask them to. Remember, there is Pinocchios the restaurant, and then there is the other side where the deli is.
Always excellent food, great service and they make sure the customer is happy. Cordial folks who provide good sized portions to diners. Buffet style as you would find, hot table (tavola calda) dining, in Rome and other larger cities. Great variety of entrees AND I am a frequent customer!
Expect long lines during weekend dinner rush... but worth the wait. Cant go wrong with the lasagna...
Warm and friendly restaurant with good food. Dine in or take out. Prices and very reasonable.
Line moved slow. Seems like everyone was in each others way. The Sandwich was good but the bread to hard. The gelato was the best Ive had.
Their lasagna is amazing! The staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.
Excellent inexpensive italian restaurant. Many good choices ready to serve. Great for take out or dine in.
My hubby has been reading about this place!! He was so excited to bring the FAM in finally!! So my hubby and son had the ravioli, I had spaghetti and our daughter had a pizza. And we all loved our food. It was hot and well cooked. Portions were a good size and the drink selection was big. If we had room to spare we would have definitely had some gelato, but we couldnt even finish our meals so that will have to be on a return trip. As well as some grocery shopping through the fun selection of European delicacies. Well be back!
The lasagna and garlic bread were incredible in the beer was quite yummy! The staff at Pinocchios was amazing! I cant wait to go back and try the spaghetti with meatballs!
Love this food, especially the meat lasagna and Roast beef sandwich. Everything is tasty. Youll love it plus good price for it.
We enjoyed a beautiful evening dinning out at Pinnochios. Lasagna with marinara sauce was delicious!! My boys loved the pizza!! The hubby said we would come again!! Yey
Great food and excellent customer service.
I have been working in Burbank for almost 10 years and I can’t believe I haven’t tried Pinocchio yet! They have deli section, restaurant (order and then sit down), ice cream and desserts!Everything looks so good and I am determined to try them all! After 2 visits, everything is better than average.Meatball is BOMB!Their sauce is legit!Ice cream is to die for!Pizza is so authentic!
This is a Deli/Grocery plus Restaurant. Order at the Counter. Two of us ordered meat lasagna. Sauce was authentic. Cheese and pasta were perfect. Mr. Buffalo ordered the Eggplant Parm. He gave it two thumbs up! It really does have a New York feel, especially the Deli/Grocery. Anchovies from Sicily, not just South America. Going back Wednesday with my 88 year old mother. She loved it!
Classic, traditional Italian pasta, pizza, sandwiches, salad, gelato! A great deli inside the store to buy all things Italian from pasta, sauce, sausages, cheese, herbs, etc. Worth ot!
Been here 25+ times over the years and it never disappoints!
Great old school cafeteria style lunches.Large servings and amazing prices.Dont forget to get a scoop of gelato on the way out.You can also do some shopping at their convenient Italian themed market
I’ve been going to this place for over 25 years. For me, this is my ultimate place to get comfort food in Burbank. Food is always excellent and you can’t help but to be nostalgic whenever you’re inside and see the old Italian setting with tons of imported groceries and Deli items to choose from. Always a fun place to go to. Highly recommended 👌🏼😋
Hands down the worst food I’ve ever eaten and I’m a chef! The so called “eggplant parmigiana” was disgusting. My friend had the veal parmigiana. It was a veal burger burnt to a crisp with get this, a slice of cheese on top! Who does that!!?? Not to mention the pasta was grossly overcooked. The salad bar that they serve from looked like a coyote had been at it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
I started coming here started in early 1980s.Ive moved out of town for a long time.Recently i came back for a visit, surprisingly after 30 years, and they are still there with the same good food! Its still really popular!P.S if you are ordering pizza, make sure to order ahead. I have been here waiting for 30 mins already but its well worth it!
This Place is one of myFavorite Places to EatStillOld SchoolButSo Yummy 😋Dont forget theDeli MarketNext DoorPlusGelato
I go there for specialty Italian items that are hard to find elsewhere. I used to eat in the restaurant portion of the place when I was 50 years younger, but now I just shop in the deli - but not for wine, which is overpriced.
One of the worst chicken Parma I’ve ever had in my entire life. The deli is great and has a lot of stuff but steer clear of the restaurant part. It was a dry over cooked piece of grilled chicken that was somehow also soggy despite being dry? with no flavor whatsoever.
I dont know how I have lived here for almost two years and had not known about this place until now. Growing up Italian in Chicago, I had been disappointed by the Italian options in general around Los Angeles, but I dont have to worry anymore because I can get pretty much any Italian staple I need here from bread to sausage, prosciutto to hot prepared lasagna. They also have a great gelato and Italian pastry case. Its split into a hot food side with a counter and seating, and the deli side. I cant wait to go back so I can try more!
THIS PLACE IS INSANELY GOOD! Not your typical restaurant though so expect to stand while waiting for your food. And it is worth the wait!
I live 5 hours from here but every chance I can get down there I always make a stop to grab lunch or dinner as well as stocking up in their deli! Best food and prices!
Very Poor Service.I had to even clean the table from the customer before me and wipe it down..I asked for help to clean the table 3 xs and they just said ok but nothing. Food was cold, Nothing like it use to be, as it was one of our Favorite Place to go eat. But were Done with this restaurant now...Also the inside and outside of restaurant building is Not Kept Clean, as it use to be...
A staple if youre in the area and want delicious Italian food. Gelato is absolutely delicious as well
The food is Greaaat. They serve Italian food. Good prices very clean and safe atmosphere. Love me meat lasagna.
Amazing Italian food! Pizza is great! The potatoe salad was addictive, the subs are yummy and the pasta is chefs kiss! Not to mention the amazing customer service and the ambiance was magical! Definitely recommend, have nothing negative to say!
Ive been going to Monte Carlos for over 35 years Ive never been disappointed Id never left there hungry I buy my cheese and sausage I go at least once a week we love you so much thank you for being there for us
I go here quite often. I usually have either the Monte Carlo sandwich (Italian cold cuts) or the meat lasagna with garlic bread. This place is great and I consider it to be the best deal in Burbank. You line up at the deli and order your food. You then sit anywhere there is an open table. Lots of good music in the background. You will feel like you are in Italy. On the other side you can get pastries, gelato, cookies etc.
This is old school so lots of sauce and cheese. I liked it. Tomato sauce is sweet and tgey use it in the pizza. Pizza is good but I recommend crispy and light sauce.
Wow...what a great find!! Great groceries, deli and restaurant!
My brother and his wife took me and my wife to this great Italian place. I had never been there, I am sure I will return. Very friendly people and a super variety.
Really nice place, very casual and cozy! I love the variety of food and products
An institution in Burbank. Anyways great food and the deli has a large selection of authentic Italian food.
Delicious food this place never lets me down
Great food. Customer service is eh... employees dont seem to care to work there.
We LOVE PINOCCHIO RESTAURANT!!! We drop by for lunch or dinner, hang out with family, friends acquaintances - & then THEY go back on their own & others, & it goes on from there!! Love the great choices of really tasty food, refreshments & the gelato just tops it off!! Oh Yeeeeeeeah!!
Pinocchio Restaurant is a new must go to Restaurant when we are traveling in Burbank! Everything about Pinocchios appeals to my Italian heritage. Lets start with the Restaurant side. Dont worry about the long lines during the dinner hour, ot moves quickly due to great customer service and loads of seating. You order meals as you pass the entrees behind the counter while staff dishes up your order. Additionally, a full menu is available posted on the wall listing soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and so much more. After your meal, there is a huge gelato case for desert. Not interested in gelato you say, turn the corner and there is another counter where you can see a huge selection of deserts.Beyond this counter, is a full Italian food store and deli. Loads of pastas, olive oils, canned goods, candies, and much, much more.We are heading home soon, but we will be stopping in again to purchase a variety of old school Italian cookies to bring home to my elderly Italian Aunt.Enjoy the pictures. Just imagine yourself in the picture enjoying a meal and a treat!
Some of the best food around, my family has been coming here since my mother was a little girl and the food has been amazing the whole time. Portions are large and their sandwiches are amazing.
I didnt eat inside I went to the deli and bought everything I thought looked good. (I hadnt had Italian since the virus) It was great. The meatballs were perfect not mushy. The sauce gave me goosebumps. The mozzarella cheese and artichoke hearts also the sour dough bread topped off my meal. Best sauce i have found. Prices were fair the people helping me seemed to enjoy my excitment. I will return till they shut down or I move away.Excellant
Been going here for years and I love the food, the people and the atmosphere. If you are going for salad, I recommend the artichoke or mushroom. Desserts are from the amazing eagle rock bakery.
What a great Italian restaurant in Burbank! One side is a nice, well stocked Italian deli and grocery and the other side is the Pinocchio restaurant! Order at the hot table counter. Sandwiches are fresh made to order. Pasta is fantastic and all at a great price! They also make fresh pizza after 4pm. Grab a table on the patio and enjoy the Socal weather with your lunch!
This was my first time visiting Pinocchios and I will definitely be back. Not a standard sit down restaurant like I expected. There was a very long line around an order counter where you get your food then seat yourself. The line moves pretty quickly though. I got the beef ravioli with pink sauce, which was a special. I have no idea what was in the pink sauce, not a pink vodka.. but I cant wait to have it again. So delicious. I tried the chicken parm as well which was also nicely done. Fun lively place, great food and very reasonable prices. Will absolutely be back!
I LOVE THIS PLACE the pizza is sooo goood and then next door in the deli theres some AMAZING Gelato, me and my family go and we love the Pinocchio special pizza, i also love their lasagna too 😻
Great food and Gelato get their early long line 😄
Cafeteria style. Food, pricing, service excellent. Parking. Egg plant to die for. Italian deli. A most stop.
Place has wonderful food but the rude staff overshadow that fact so that its not enjoyable to go there.
I really love the food here but on my last visit I saw sign that said they had a roach infestation at Pinocchios which is connected to it. They just put the sign on the side and it was business as usual. But its the same building with no divider so Im worried that it may be in the actual restaurant. I just feel like they should be more forthcoming with info about something like a cockroach infestation.
Italian Market, deli and bakery. Soooooo good. Try the pink sauce on any pasta. Lasagna, baked ziti, eggplant parmigiano. The rosemary chicken looked delicious but I didnt get to try it. Meatball pizza was fresh and cheesy with chopped meatballs. Must try! See for yourself the variety of pastas and Italian products on the market side. Cookies, tiramisu, cannoli from Eagle Rock Bakery. AND gelato, so many yummy flavors.
This is a great place to be in the Burbank area. Homey Italian with lots of gelato ice creams, deli sub sandwiches, pasta, pizza & wines too.
The food unfortunately was underwhelming. I had the veal Parmigiana. It was very small and very thin. I had it with the penne pasta and meat sauce. There wasnt very much meat sauce, and it was rather bland. I also had the Italian salad. For $9.95, I was expecting a bit more than just bag lettuce with a tiny bit of dressing.
Its a great place with really fresh food 😋
Very good traditional American Italian food + an Italian market
I only buy my specialty cheese in the deli portion of the restaurant. The cheese is fresh and delicious. Even though the lines can be long at times, it is worth the wait. All the gentlemen behind the counter are true professionals. They are helpful and friendly. It is always a pleasure stopping by to pick up my weekly selection of cheese and pasta. Grazie
Super authentic flavors! Great service, lots to choose from with cafeteria style ordering. Also love the gelato/sorbet/dessert bar, the deli and the grocery market. I absolutely love this place!
Very homey and comfortable. The food is 100/10.
They offer an awesome variety of delicious food. I enjoyed eating here. Employees are always super nice, pricing is convenient and the place is always clean.
The cafeteria style Italian food here is great for a quick lunch or ordered a-la-cart for a take home dinner. The eggplant Parm is delicious
When we were eating, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. Their service was outstanding. This restaurant is ideal for those who enjoy chicken wings.
Best quality. Fair prices. Beautiful atmosphere. Very nice house wine that reminds me of my time in Rome, but without the airfare.
Authentic Italian restaurant with food for meat lovers and vegetarians too, affordable prices just get ready to wait in line to get your order but it worth it, everything its delicious they serve sandwiches, pizzas, vegetable and meat lasagna, all kind of salads, different kind of pastas, and for dessert Gelato, cakes, cannoli and different Italian pastries also there is a market with different varieties of wines meats, hams, oils, and everything to make your own pastas
The chicken here is the best! The line is super long, but they managed to accommodate everyone in a well fashioned manner. The staff were still really friendly and I was happy. I went here with my friend and we loved it. I got 2 spicy chicken sandwiches with fries. The chicken was SO JUICY and the texture was AMAZING. Best sandwich I had in a while.
The best gelato!!Even a small size is so dense its more than enough.Salted Caramel & Coffee is my go-to
Best Cannolis I ever had. The vegetarian lasagne is also delicious.
Always come here before I make lasagna. Good selection of Italian import products; wines, olive oils, desserts, tomato products, etc.. They also have fresh bread and a deli.Service is always good and theres extra parking in back.
Love this place food is good will come back again soon
Came here with my boyfriend and we both loved the quality of the meat and the attention to service. The snacks and drinks were also really good. Totally coming back here.
