It was a pleasant experience! I went to the Mall of Ga location and honestly everyone was so friendly and helpful!! Even on a crazy busy day. Jamie was awesome. Dr. Sasser is phenomenal. He meticulously checked over my prescription and made adjustments to make sure I could see as clear as possible. The staff, while busy, still made time for you. They also were quite friendly. I would definitely recommend this Vision works to anyone seeking an eye doctor.

Its sad I cannot give a -10 feedback. There is a girl named Chi, the weirdest individual.Please do not hesitate to tell her to sit down if she ever tries to be rude to you, interrupt you or tries to feel important doing 9 to 5. Crazy person with no manners & wont recognize the importance of respecting her employer or customers.She tried to diffuse an issues she had no clue about by trying to close the store on customers😡😡😡😡😡

This location has the worst customer service imaginable. They NEVER answer the phone and when they finally do decide to answer, they immediately put you on hold and leave you on hold for an unreasonable amount of time until you finally decide to hang up. The employees and the doctor are incredibly dry and not welcoming at all. Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Chi took care of my husband and I today and I must say she’s amazing. We’ve been coming to visionworks for quite some time now and today was hands down the best experience. She was super knowledgeable about all of the products and took the time (without having to ask) to explain everything from the cost of the last time we were in til now. She explained everything. We left feeling great about our purchase and happy to have someone actual care about not only her job but how the customer felt. I’d also like to add that she was just genuinely a nice person with a great attitude. I hope to see her every time.

YES, yes, yes....To agree with Waffle House Yellow - the Optometrist (Dude with long hair) is really a Jerk!!!! He had no time to explain anything to anyone. He expects you to understand his twaddling...he really wasnt communicating. Who cares about his Optometry (study of lenses) jargons???To ordinarily explain what my parents needed was an issue for him. He just kept going running his mouth. In the end, I just made an educated decision for them. It shouldnt be like that.he obviously acted like he hates his job....We need to be able to give lower than 1 start reviews.

If it was possible to give a negative star rating, I would give a negative 5. This has been the worst experience. I got my new prescription and absolutely could not see. I have worn glasses, for 51 years, so I know all about the time it takes to adjust to a new RX. I attempted to wear the glasses morning to night for about 10 days. I went in and explained that the new prescription made me dizzy, nauseous, and caused a headache. I was told to give it a little more time. I returned a few days later and asked to have just have my old prescription put into the. Because the Rx was just over 2 years old, I was told to come back and would need to have my eyes re-examined. I will add that while I was scheduling my appointment, another customer was in there complaining about her service and asking for supervisors. When I returned for my appointment, I was informed that the OD was at lunch. I asked if they normally scheduled appointments during providers lunch periods. The young man was very curt and just told me to wait. Then I was asked to go through the whole problem again and was asked again how long I had tried to wear the new RX. 45 minutes later, I was finally called back for my appointment, but there were still 3 customers ahead of me. Ironically, I was seated just in time to hear another customer saying that she couldnt see with her new RX...that the prescription made her nauseous, dizzy, gave her headache and blurry vision. The doctor became increasing incensed as she continued to ask to have her old prescription put in her new frames. Finally, he rudely told her that he would do that but it made no sense because he knew what he was doing and that the old prescription was clearly wrong. Finally, after an hour of waiting, I spent 2 minutes with the OD, not the optometrist and was told that my RX was correct, but the material that my lenses were made from was different from the ones I could see better out of. They are remaking the lenses out of a different material with the new rX. I do not have a lot of faith that this will remedy the situation. At this point, I just need to go through the process. Oh I failed to mention that they DO NOT answer their phone. And when they do, you will be on hold forever. When I finally got my call answered, I was placed on hold. I was just leaving for my lunch break, walked a block to get lunch, ordered lunch, waited for it to be prepared, walked a block back to work, and began eating before anyone ever picked up the phone. When I looked at how long the call lasted, it was 37 minutes.As of today, 7/20/21, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Lets see if this gets things resolved.

Overpriced. I only got the pair with the options I did because they said it had a $100 rebate. Come to find out it was only $50.. BUT good luck ever seeing that money. They make you jump though a BUNCH of hoops. I ask for all the things I would need to submit the rebate when I picked up the glasses in store. All she gave me was a receipt. The rebate form requires the stores signature??? The receipt is not proof enough? Called in and asked them to email or fax or even take a pic with her phone.. NOPE I had to go back to the mall AGAIN. Now I get home and try to submit it and keep getting errors on the rebate web site. How convenient for them. Now you should snail mail it in with no proof and HOPE they send you the rebate? What a joke.

Since Google only allows you to leave one review, I have resorted to using someone elses account. It seems that the only way I can get any action taken to address my plight is to leave negative reviews. So, my saga continues. After being told last week that I would 1.I be refunded for the second pair of glasses I ordered that never arrived, 2. I would be called to ensure that the refund was processed, and 3. I would be made aware of the refund amount. A week out, and none of the promised outcomes have been delivered. I called today in the middle of my work day to inquire about points 1, 2, 3 only to remain on hold for 35 minutes and 14 seconds. Since I had to take a patient, I was forced to hang up. While driving home, I called again. Again, it took quite some time for someone to answer the phone. It was the same person I spoke with last week and was told that she had asked her manager to process the refund. Given that I have not received a refund. Conveniently, the manager had just left for the day, and I was instructed to call back tomorrow to talk to the manager. I have absolutely no faith that I will have my call answered in a timely fashion nor will I actually speak to the manager. At this point, the only thing that will make me happy to is to refunded the whole amount for the time and trouble it has taken to get this resolved. I work at a medical clinic and understand customer service. This place is a JOKE!!!

Front office staff is great. The doctor, not so much. Dude, if you hate your job, find another one. He was really rough with my daughter. Was rushing through. I even tried the lighten up the stale tension in the room by starting small talk. Nope, this fool took the conversation alllll the way left saying if I paid the $19 then I wouldnt have to get my childs eyes dilated....From small talk... That doesnt make me want to get that procedure. It makes me want to leave you a horrible review, on EVERY reviewing channel, and never frequent where YOU are located again. Your ponytail is A LITTLE TOO TIGHT SIR! Maybe his wife just left him. Idk, all I know is thats not how to treat clients regardless of the day youre having.

My wife and I shared the same experience with the rude doctor. He didn’t introduce himself. It’s the guy with the longish slicked back hair. Awful manners...nonexistent to be exact. He rushed us through the entire process. No greeting, no explanations. My family will not be returning to VisionWorks. We won’t gamble having the same terrible service at another location.

If I could give them a zero I would. Me and my family have been customers for at least two years at this location. A family or 4 at that. I went today for a routine eye exam to be told if I didn’t select to have a certain procedure done for 19.95 that I would be forced to get my eyes dilated. What kind of mess is that. If you don’t want something done you should not have to have it done. Mind you that I haven’t even started my exam. I politely decline and went and canceled my entires family appointment. Greed is something even for Doctors. Everyone at the front desk were very polite and understanding. I was offered an appointment for Saturday due to another doctor being there that day. I came today to have an exam I don’t have to come today. The young lady working in the eye exam area was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this location.

Once again. I am weeks and weeks out from my first appointment. I have gone through multiple appointments, incorrect prescriptions, wasted time, etc., and I still dont have my second pair of glasses. At this point, I would just be happy to be refunded for my second pair, but it is impossible to get a human on the phone at this location. Same song, second verse, little bit louder, little bit worse...but can it really get worse? Apparently, it can!

My fiancé and I did not have an appointment but we went in to look at frames. We asked if they would have space for us to get exams and the staff were super nice and accommodating even when they were very busy! I would recommend this location based on the customer service!

To put it simply Don’t do it, doc is rude, no cleaning of equipment, no customer service and to top it off I don’t believe my prescription is right!! I have contacted the customer service department with no response other than they are sorry for my experience and have escalated the matter to a GM, still haven’t heard, over a month later. Go anywhere else.

I would give my experience here negative stars if I could. Mutiple visits trying to get glasses, Hours sitting in this office, a Doctor that is incredibly rude, unprofessional and actually argued with me that my prescription is correct despite me being nauseous and impaired with 3-D like effects when wearing them. 4 visits later and they are still not right. Hearing other simular complaints in the office confirms I am not the only one and clearly there is a big problem at this location. If you care about your vision, I highly suggest looking at other locations or providers and finding one that does care.

The first time I went for my appointment I sat for an hour after asking them 3 to 4 different times before I ever even went to my appointment if they except in my insurance I was told they did got there sat for over an hour for them to tell me that I was gonna have to pay out-of-pocket insurance wasn’t covered. The Second time I took three of my children there we were there for over three hours why one employee was goofing off and conversation instead of doing her job and other was rude I had my almost 6 month old with me as well as 3 other children that were there for appointment horrible experience after picking up glasses will be changing eye dr. This was my 1st time using them and had a few people tell me how great they were that’s why I chose to go there.

I had an AWFUL experience at the Duluth location, so I moved to the Mall of GA location to order glasses. Its been 3 weeks and I had to call down to find out where my glasses are at, only for them to say oh yeah, we have them and have no idea how long they have been here. They did not text, call, OR email me that they were in. The rep told me my contact information must have been outdated, which is NOT true as I got confirmation email and text that the reading glasses were in. I suppose it is a general VisionWorks poor customer service and general lack of ability to perform to standards. This is the last time I will ever attempt ANY VisionWorks location.

Definitely read reviews before going here. I’ve been coming to this location for years without issue but they have changed their staff. Due to a car accident I was 7 mins late and they cancelled my appointment and have horrible customer service. Best they could do was have me reschedule. Go somewhere else. They don’t care about you and the front staff is clueless based on the conversations they were having with other customers.

A month ago,5/13/21, I scheduled and attended an appt for an eye exam (so I could get contacts).?I was in very fast which I thought was great but I was rushed through the appt by the doctor. This was upsetting bc none of my questions were answered.I spoke with the manager, Chi (her name), and she said I could see another doctor if I wanted which I elected not to bc I just want my contacts. Chi helped me get my contacts ordered and 2 pair of contacts to trial for 2 weeks to see which I liked best. When the two weeks were up she contacted me to see which pair I liked best and I told her. Last week I contacted the office in Buford GA (where I went) to find out why I still haven’t received the contacts that I was told would be shipped to my hone and I still have these trial pair of contacts (only last 2 weeks and it’s been a month now). The lady on the other end explained there was some trouble ordering my contacts that the manager said she would call me right back. 1. I never received a call back. This was Wednesday last week. 2. I paid for contacts to be shipped to my home and still haven’t received them. 3. I never got a call regarding the “ordering problem” by the office staff or the manager. I have been nice and more than patient and I have to admit I’m utterly disappointed. I am a very patient person when it comes to understanding that “the doctor must have been having a bad day” and even the ordering issue as long as I’m made aware. At this point I am over the wait, I’m over wearing my glasses bc no one will contact me. When I asked for a refund the first time I was told that there would be an issue with my insurance if I asked for a refund. This may be true, but at this point I feel my insurance is useless at this establishment bc I can’t get the service I need from the “staff that cares”. If they care so much why don’t they call their patients to explain the ordering issue? After this I will not be back to this location or any for that matter.

Do not go here to the doctor heck with all the people there talking about up front thatz the least of my worries. The doctor pries my eyes open with his fingers to put 3 eye drops in my eyes for dialation I honestly only know what the back of this doctors head looks like because he did my exam so fast. I think he hurt my eyes bad there red the corners of my eyes are sore if I could go to a lawyer I would.i will never go back again to this eye doctor I do like there glasses and sunglasses and lady up front helped me nicely however will never go back due to the doctor literally hurting my eyes and I hope he did not cause an abrasion to my eye. I will be picking up my sunglasses in a week or so when they cone in and I hope my eyes are heeled from the roughness of that terrible dotor he said well I dont think your vision haschange much. The reviews don’t lie. Had an appointment and spent hours in this place only to end up going somewhere else to get glasses. They will try to overcharge you for glasses and push you to buy something you don’t want. And they tell you at the last minute that it will take over a month to get your glasses in. Check out Eye Sight in Buford. Service was way better glasses were cheaper and come in 5 days!!

I recently had a contact and glasses exam and placed an order for new contacts and glasses. I am not satisfied with the order for my glasses and they have yet to call me to come pick them up for the second time. I call the Visionworks located at the Mall of Georgia and NEVER get an answer. When I originally went to go pick up my glasses and contacts, the glasses poorly fit and I had to practically beg them to adjust them. They indicated they would send them back in and have them done over, however, I have not heard back from them. At this point, I want a refund and Visionworks can keep their cheap glasses!

I had a great experience. The staff was wonderful! Super helpful and very nice! Poor Linda probably missed her lunch trying to help me. I had a few issues because I guess my pupils are close together, but they were very patient and helpful in helping me find a few pairs of glasses that would work best for me.. Im glad they didnt just sell me whatever even if it wasnt what was best for me. I will definitely be back.

My baby and I, were at the Mall of Georgia Visionworks, The front staff was awesome. But I have never had a dr give me scary news, with a terrible bedside manner. The dr does the test, and I’ve never had someone do such an awful vision test. He went from the one line I could read. To lines there was no way I could see clearly. He then says “Your vision hasn’t changed, but I’m referring you to an ophthalmologist to check you for glaucoma. I’ll give you an informational sheet and a referral up front. You have pigment dispersion syndrome.” So I say,” Wait your saying you think I have glaucoma.”He then says, ” I’m sending you to an ophthalmologist.” I say, ”When I was around 13 the dr said I had a large optic nerve, is that the same thing?” He then says(in a very irritated voice),” I said I am leaving you an informational sheet up front and then you can research it yourself!” What kind of dr diagnoses you with something, but then doesn’t ask you if you have any questions...... I feel bad that the front staff is so wonderful, and they have to work for such an unfriendly dr. I will never go back there because of the dr, hopefully he is replaced with someone as good as the staff up front.

People there just DON’T CARE about your time, we went to get my kids their glasses the first time waiting time for more than 2 hrs, second time waiting time was for more than 1 hr. READ THE REVIEWS AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. They do not answer the phone. They have no idea how much to charge for insurance. You will spend HOURS here, even if you have an appointment. They will almost certainly overcharge you. When your glasses are ready, they wont call you to let you know. All the issues I had at this store are mentioned in the reviews from other people as well. Stay far away, Youve been warned.

Great service from the moment I stepped in. Everyone is very friendly and professional. My insurance was a little wonky but they assured me that theyd care for it. The tech and the doctor were thorough and nice. The team member was patient and gave great advice on frames. Customer service was okay. The time it took to receive my glasses was horrendous. I was told that they would be ready in a week and two weeks at max. Two weeks passed and I returned on the 26th of January when the lady told me my glasses would be absolutely ready for pick up. To my surprise they were ready. I was not notified of this when it could have clearly been avoided. Please let your customers know that there glasses are not ready atleast two days before your promised date. This will save them gas time and money.

I went into Visionworks to get glasses and contact lenses. It cost me 500.00 for them and my exam. I go in today to order contacts. They said I didnt finish my exam. So i would have to have anothet exam. Notmy problem. I brought 4Bixes and now thetwant a other 120. Not going to happen. What is going on. Are they trying to cheat me. They should have done everything at thar time. Something you need to fix.

It took a month to get an appointment but once I got there the process went well and I was pleased until it was time to order my glasses and daughters contacts. The OC Tech Gwen needs extensive customer service training. She had many issues with entering information in the computer and kept getting kicked out. She appeared to not have a clear understanding of my benefits and I am not positive that I was charged correctly. She also spoke about her views on politics, used profanity in the presence of my 14 year old twice and seemed to be more interested in what was going on in the mall than getting us done. It took over a hour to conclude our visit with her. I have patronized Visionworks for many years and by far she made this visit the worst.

Jennifer was great along with the doctor and all the front office staff! This is the only place I will come for my eye exams! This location is very good. There are taking the COVID 19 very serious, and very have processes in place to keep us safe. You must check in, get your temperature check, get a tray for every pair of glasses 👓 you touch, so they can sanitize it before its placed back in display. Thank you Visionworks.

Great experience. Dr Clements was great, and all 3 techs were awesome! Very informative!I wouldve given 5 stars but I noticed that every year theres another way to nickel and dime the consumers. Why would it take a day to find two screws for my glasses? Ordered Contacts for my son, contacts arrived and was told my son would have to have classes before the contacts were released. Understandably. However, a week later and still no phone call, all I’m being told is their schedule is full. These contacts are not for a fashion statement. My son needs them. I have been coming to Visionworks for a while but this was my first visit to the Mall of Georgia location. I am pleased with the staff and how friendly they are. It took us a while to choose frames and everyone gave us ideas and opinions. They were really busy but we were still attended to. The doctor is great also and super friendly. Not only wasting my time but then telling me to go to LensCrafters to get my glasses instead of getting them at their store. To top it all off I called to see about some contacts, after being on hold for 15 mins the lady who answered told me they were too busy to help me.Why would I come back?

I stopped in to see if I can get my eyes checked and get new glasses, For I had my old ones for eight years they got me in within 30 minutes got me new lenses everything discounted they did a great job awesome job I will always go back there. Everybody there was very nice and the doctor was very professional I Recommend everybody to go here

I’ve been going to VS since I was in High school. And I love this place. The associate Katherine is the best ever. She takes her time helping you look for the right fit of glasses and sunglasses. She is awesome. Ask for her when you go. She explains all the lenses and coating for you to make sure you pick the right ones for your RX. Yes the glasses are a little expensive but your shopping inside the mall so come on what do you expect. Nothings ever cheap in the mall. Overall great experience

Beyond awful. I had to call because I needed my contact prescription, but come to find out they didn’t even give me the exam for contacts. I was wanting to order contacts online (like I’ve done before) for my 20th birthday, but I could not do it without my prescription. After hours of communicating with the store supervisor, doctor, and corporate nothing was done. They offered me an exam for close to $100 that I’d have to pay for out of pocket. Yet had they done their job last year, I wouldn’t have to do anything but pick up my prescription. We had to wait 3 hours AFTER our scheduled appointment time last year just for glasses alone. (What is the point of an appointment if you don’t get seen even remotely close to that time?!) I have been to several Vision Works in different states, but this is by far the absolute worse. They didn’t do anything to remotely solve the problem that one girl at the front desk caused because she did not input the correct information. I work at a customer call center right now for a multi million dollar company and I know how the situation should have been handled, and this was the very opposite of that. I’d rather have blurry vision than give these uneducated and stingy people anymore of my time or money.

Everyone was very nice. The doctor saw me within 15 minutes of my arrival time. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They were able to order my contact lenses at the store. I will go back there.

My granddaughter stepped on my glasses and damaged them and I had to go out of town the next day. Called Visionworks (did not buy glasses from them) and asked if they could do an emergency repair; they said bring in and lets see. Came into Mall of Georgia location, greeted kindly and within 15 minutes they had fixed my glasses. Did not charge. Would not accept a tip. This type of service would definitely make me consider them for my next eyeglass purchases.

I wasnt sure what to expect after looking at the reviews, but this is one of the only places close by that accept our insurance so we didnt have a choice. Im very glad we ended up here! I had a great experience at Vision Works in the mall of Georgia! My salesman CHARBEL was the absolute best! He was so friendly and funny. He saved me $1,000 along with my Insurance. I would recommend everyone to go see CHARBEL. The staff was really nice as well.

I’m skeptical of ANY medical physician that prescribed and then sales (glass, hearing aides, inserts for Podiatry) its just seems wrong and I wonder how many people ever leave not needing the items they sale... WELL NOT ANYMORE! Hubs has worn bifocals for about seven years. Then he was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. After being on the medicine he said to me my vision is clearer but we still wanted to get his eyes examined, just to make sure. The doctor there was very knowledgeable and he knew what MG is. He took his time looking for any additional issues because of mg and said hubby could use a very low prescription or go get readers for when he needs a little help! He didn’t even push him to buy readers from VW!I was presently surprised and gave me faith in VisionWorks!
