I do actually like Cazenovia liquors they have a nice selection especially when it comes to gift Box sets however the place smells like cat pee bad.. I mean real bad. I would go in here more often but the stench is more than I can handle. The only reason I even go here is because its conveniently located near my home and its open until midnight, when most liquor stores are closed. The staff is generally polite and helpful And theyve got some really cool gas lit lanterns out by their entrance doors. If they would do something about the smell I would be a regular customer at this establishment but it has been this way for as long as I can remember .. at least the last 10 years. I would also be more understanding about the cat smell if there was an actual cat roaming around in the store but there is not, at least not that Ive ever seen. I get it people have cats, cats use the bathroom but when it comes to a store where youre buying a product that youre going to consume it really shouldnt smell that bad inside.

Very large selection with a rustic feel prices are a little high. The inside is clean and well-organized but they lack parking. Me and a friend had a decent buzz and walked half a mile to the store and were refused because we were visibly intoxicated. This is definitely not a place for you if youre looking for down-to-earth staff. Every time I go there Im watched like some kind of thief even though I spend hundreds of dollars there, I suspect if you are a construction worker or musician youre not very welcome. People in semi-formal attire however will be greeted with respect.

Definitely a place Ill be going to more for my liquor when I move back to the area. The prices are a little higher than Im used too but they carry a wide variety of things you could ever want or need. The people are very nice too and were very patient when it came to my extremely indecisive ways. Just wish they carried more mixers and that the only place that carried different flavored jello wasnt a good walk away. 😂

I was interested in buying a high end wiskey for a gift, so before traveling to the store I decided to make a call . When I called a very rude lady answered and told me that she doesnt have time to answer any questions if you want something come in if not bye, then hung up . Now I had 500$ I was willing to spend, will now be going anywhere else and will also be telling everyone I can about the terrible costomer service .would highly recommend going anywhere but here .

Short version of this review, go to a different store, not worth it here.After browsing the store for 30 seconds, I was stared at and followed for the remainder of my time by an old man working there. Attempted to talk to him casually but he scoffed at me. Left without buying anything, plenty of other places to buy alcohol where they appreciate business instead of treating everyone that comes in as a criminal.I see in other reviews for this place people receive similar experiences here, and the owner responds that it will be fixed and that they care about the customers. If this were true then why do these situations keep happening.

As soon as u walk in u r greeted with the smell of wood...that smell mean this store has been around for a long time....the people there are very friendly and if u have a question about what a drink taste like...u r sure to get an answer....they have wine...hard stuff...and sake stays open till midnight

Every single time i go here i literally have 3 minutes to browse until somebody pops out to make sure Im not stealing (although i buy something every time) then when i go to the counter i am put under the strictest id check i have literally ever been thru. (I am 30 years old by the way not fresh off of 21). Then my money is always scrutinized and fed thru some fancy counterfeit detector. I will no longer be going to this establishment. If i wanted to be treated like a criminal Id go to the police dept. Seneca liquors is the way to go if youre shopping in the neighborhood.

This store has an amazing selection of spirits for its size, especially whiskey. From bourbon, to rye, to Canadian rye, to Irish whiskey and to Scotch, they probably have it.
