Found everything I need at a very reasonable price

Their employees are helpful and attentive, they dont just tell you where something is they actually take the time to walk you to the product and a lot of times itll explain the proper uses of it or make some other products that they may need you may need in conjunction with your project. Awesome store.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Good place to pick up some items that you may need for house and maintenance repair although you cant get everything here thats the only negative thing. Often pick going here rather than the big box to stores you know which ones Im talking about where the staff is mostly downright rude and or unknowledgeable unhelpful... Much rather stop here at Valu.

I keep forgetting that they have the part Im looking for. If you need one or two of something, go here. Theyre more likely to have it than the big box stores, and you can buy only one or two without having to buy a whole package of stuff youll never use.

Very fine hardware store with good selection of every day items and a very helpful staff.

I love Valu Home Centers because it is a small store so as soon as you walk in the door there are there waiting to help they know where everything is they will run and grab it and it will bring it to you you can just the service is really. They dont always have everything there unfortunately cuz it is a smaller store so sometimes they have to order in for you

Okay so this is one of those places you go when you need basics for your home. I was here with the husband getting brand new timers for my Christmas decorations, a gizmo (youve got to love my technical terms) that will allow me to plug three items in one outlet and an extension cord.Look, this is not exciting but these are basics that help to make my house run better.

This particular location seems more friendly and outgoing when it comes to customer service. Im not just told where things are, Im shown exactly where they are! Thanks for the extra effort☺

This one on Elmwood avenue in Buffalo is so much better than the one in East Aurora. I will never go to the one in East Aurora again even though thats closer to my home. the cashiers are terrible at the one in East Aurora. Ill wait until I go into work and go to the one near my work. I just wish the prices were little bit better.

Valu is known in WNY for excellent customer service and friendly staff. I havent found a location or an employee who doesnt meet those expectations. Good weekly specials often get me in the store as it happens that I frequently need something that happens to be on sale. Nice, clean stores. Good selection, not overwhelming, which is nice. Usually for a quick trip to the hardware store, this is my preference. So many nearby that its easier than a big box store slog. My senior mom loves Valu because she doesnt have to search for anything and employees will lead her there or get whatever she needs.

Staff is always friendly and will help you find an item if they stock it, but why would you sell thermostats and not sell thermostat wire??? What should have been one quick stop turned into two.

Be careful! I checked on-line to see if Valu carried the item I wanted. They did. It was advertised at $7.99. I went to the store, and the item on the shelf was priced at $11.99. After I convinced the cashier to look it up on-line and told her how to spell chlorine I did get the item at the $7.99 price. Check the on-line price before going to the store
