Real fine line at this place, imo you gotta search pretty hard to find a deal
The prices are higher than any thrift store. I walked in last week and they priced a dirty ceramic pumpkin for $59.99. Target has ceramic pumpkins for $8. The clothes are WORN and almost 20$ for a dress. Savers is for profit, don’t be mislead.
Good customer service if you get there early. They are eager to close and Ive found mistakes on my receipts after being rushed through the line and out the door. But twice Ive gone back the next day and they corrected the problems. Some gems to find at low prices if youre willing to look.
Not crowded, prices were pretty good. Staff was not friendly but they were personable. Seemed confused by simple questions. Selection was good.
Savers is a wonderful place to shop. It is very clean, organized, and has such a variety! Tuesdays are 30% off for Seniors also! Check it out if you havent.
Ive been going to this Savers since it opened and was the only one in our area (now theres 2). It is a clean thrift store that is well organized. For that, it deserves 5 stars. So for instance, if you want to go thrifting, but your friend hates dirty thrift stores, bring them to Savers and theyll be pleasantly surprised. But as far as stuff goes, its hit or miss on treasure and it is ridiculously expensive. Im talking $8.99 for a Losman Bills jersey or $7.99 for a Target brand used tee-shirt. Anything with a brand label is always very high priced, even if the brand itself not designer (like Vera Bradley). So its a nice, clean, sometimes got good stuff thrift store. Ill always stop if Im nearby because I love to thrift, but Ive yet to really score here, sadly. So as far as greatest hits of thrifts, it lands in the middle.Other notables: ample parking, carts on premise, wheelchair accessible and friendly. Dressing rooms still closed for Covid as of 8/23/21.
Wow, all I have to say is at this store. The prices here are completely insane for used items. Most clothing items were at retail store prices for used clothing. In fact I can go across the street or to another store in the same plaza to Old Navy and TJ Maxx and probably find clothing for less money than here for brand new stuff oh yeah and there s a Gabes about 10 minutes from this store that has prices that are nearly less than everything in here for brand new stuff. I didnt really find anything in here that was a bargain. If you are looking for bargains or are a savvy shopper stay away, because this store isnt for you and its not worth wasting your time. If you think goodwill is overpriced this place is twice as much maybe more. I get that its a for profit thrift and they advertise that fact but I am not paying these prices for used clothing sorry.
Always love shopping here, great deals and good quality. Plus its better for the environment to thrift instead of fast shop
Good finds there. Not everything that Im looking for is there all the time. Prices not bad.
The irony that this place receives donations and then over prices everything. For profit Savers selling donated items. The wanted $4.99 for an emtpy botle of Alice White wine. What a joke the wine is cheaper than what they were asking for an empty bottle.
Stopped in here with a coupon. The store was VERY clean and had a large variety of items. Bought quite a few things I would never pay full price at a regular store for! Highly recommend! A+++++
Its a great store to go to some prices are high
Just came from Savors. The store is always clean. They are using all methods of sanitizing and keeping distance. Didnt stay long. Just checked books. Was worth the trip.
Great place for cheap clothes and housewares. I 😘 be that the products here rotate so there arent piles of clothes from 40 years ago just hanging around. The staff has always been very friendly.
No more shopping at savers for clothing. They took out the dressing rooms - so there is no point paying so much money when you can’t try them on.
I love this store..its a great way to save big if you can take the time to look and find the deals..its like a big treasure hunt
I went on Tuesday so I could get the senior discount. Also spent a good amount but got a lot for it. Well stocked as always. People were very nice.
It was very nice all employees were very nice
Great for a second hand store. You can find lots of name brands and some still have tags. Theres furniture and toys too. Items get rotated rather regularly.Avoid goodwill and other places with religious affiliations. They donate to anti-LGBTQ and anti womens rights organizations.
Great selection. Very good prices. Clean.
I wish they would open the fitting room.Because really try on there or go all the way home and Im 45 minutes away.
Their new policy of permanently closing fitting rooms stinks!
Great ace to find unique. ItemsVery inexpensive.Freindly Staff ..
Living on a very limited income I find savors to be an expensive place to shop. With the items being donated I would think the prices would be more reasonable.Shame on savors for Profiting off their greed
Great finds at little price. Some stuff can bw overpriced. And Halloween costumes are not worth it but for the most part its a great thrift shop.
Just am awesome place to shop if you like thrifting. Great bargains and the staff is super friendly
Decent selection of items but everything I personally looked at was way over priced some things more expensive than could get at Walmart by far the most expensive thrift store Ive ever been to.
Love this place. Love the deals I find in there!
Fantastic place to find your odds and ends store . Cheap prices to save you more
One of my favorite places to find bargains on used goods. Since their reopening in the Pandemic they have changed their return policy (since the changing rooms are closed), to allow for 14 day returns. That allows for plenty of time to try on at home! I love this policy! I plan to continue donating and shopping here as before. Anything I buy can be sanitized if need be, and all precautions are being taken in the store.
If it would allow me to rate as 0 stars, I would. I would never recommend this store to anyone. I used to come here all the time for years. It started as a wonderful thrift store. Really cheap. But over the past year or so, their prices have just been going up and up and UP. They are so expensive now. I find ripped up shoes for 15 or 16 dollars. A shirt that had the original tag of 12 dollars on it, and they marked it at 11. That’s not a thrift store. Considering that all of their merchandise is from donations, they are an insanely greedy corporation. And the female front end manager is plain rude and it clearly rubs off on her workers. I will not be back any time soon and I suggest no one go either.
I love shopping here!! You need time so you can really shop!!
Savers is a great place. I go there quite a bit especially for the kids dress up days for school. On Tuesday their is a 30% discount for military.
Great deals!
Great thrift store! And Tuesday is 30% off ! Blessing!
This is definitely my favorite Savers Ive been to. The last time I was here, I found some really great tees and I always have to hold myself back in the books section. Very well organized. My only complaint is the prices, and that is consistent between all Savers. Great thrift store!
This location has good organization, pretty clean and more furniture on my last visit. Gruff staff at donations.
I absolutely love Savers. I live on Social Security and wouldnt be able to have so many things without this store. I wish it were closer to where I live, but an hour isnt too bad.
Fun place to get some deals
I have been shopping at savers for 2 years now I went in to day and I noticed that they have a shortage of pants I found only one pair of pants 36 30 they have alot of other sizes. Well I should not say alot.best place to shop for clothing at good prices.
Prices are a bit high for a thrift store.
Always a great time, with many treasures
Great buys on slightly used dresses, and the $5 off coupon that I had received in my email made my shopping trip even more worthwhile. And recycling clothing is great for the planet, too. ♻️🌎
Its really hit-or-miss with the prices. I dont understand why thrift store is charging so much for secondhand items. They look at the name brand and charged as if its new! They definitely need new management and to be reminded that it is a thrift store people are going there to buy clothing used because they cant afford it new!
I love this place!! the prices are great. most of the things there aren’t too used. i wish they had signs that labeled each section but it’s pretty clear without them too.
What a nice store! Great layout, wonderful inventory, nice staff. I loved that it does not smell like a thrift store.
I went on a sale day where clothing/shoes/accessories were 50% off all day. Usually can find great deals. I grabbed my husband a Bills jersey for $15 after discount! Some things, however, like a pair of Childrens Place pants for $8 was a bit outrageous, especially when the actual store sells their pants for $5 brand new regularly. Go, plan to spend a couple hours, and really look. Youll find some gems.
Clothes are expensive in my opinion but the store is always neat and tidy.
I go there to get clothes for work other things like records books it help out dInferno chairtiy s
Prices have gone way up. Way overpriced for USED clothing. Many items you could by brand new or even cheaper in department store. I think they forgot these were used clothes they are selling.
Pretty decent store! Always find something in here!
Best spot ever
Great as always, but looks like inventory is really low in clothing.
Not a fan. Not much to choose from and overpriced. Goodwill or AM Vets is much better.
Good selection, but they vastly over price their high end clothing. Platos closet is a few miles away, and they have a better, more organized selection for comparably priced items. Just because something has an Express label doesnt automatically make it valuable. Consider how outdated and worn it is before sticking a $15 price tag on it.
One of the nicest second hand stores Ive been in
Was very dissatisfied. Seemed overly priced on second hand merchandise. The quality was poor compared to the last time I was in there
If I could give zero stars I would. There is zero quality control of the items being put out and the prices are insane. Blood stained polo marked at $12.99 because its Ralph Lauren. Winter jackets with massive holes in them marked at $40+. Absolute joke. Easily the worst thrift store in WNY. I wouldnt even donate to this specific store let alone shop. How this store has any positive reviews I do not understand. The place has been terrible since 2017. Anyone that thinks this is a good thrift store is not someone that actually frequents thrift stores. Save your time and money and go literally anywhere else. You will probably find better deals in an actual retail store.
Find cheap clothes for work some are reasonable higher because of brand name but still affordable
Nice place, its clean and they have friendly workers. Carts being wiped the whole time we were there.
Not your normal 2nd hand store. Smells better and is usually well kept with little to no mess. Friendly staff and usually reasonable prices. I enjoy going to places like this because youll never know what youll find. My suggestion, if you see something you are on the fence about, carry it with you until you decide. If not, it will be gone.
This place is amazing! Clothing smells clean, just like laundry detergent. I purchased clothing for under $25, which were 3 pairs of dress pants and 2 long sleeve shirts. I was super pumped to find out the amount I calculated in my head was half the price I actually paid. Very clean atmosphere and Customer service is excellent. Ill be returning soon.
Always have a good time shopping there. Find things I didnt know I needed.
I have many thoughts on this store, and I think its hard for me to figure out just how to rate it because what Savers is, and isnt is easily confusing. What Savers is: a for-profit second hand store. I think this is important to remember because its easy to feel that theyre a total rip-off when you walk through and see prices so astronomical. They get a majority of their merchandise just given to them for free and then they charge prices that frequently are higher than online stores. I have found plenty of items that I like in their stores and sometimes theyre worth the browse, but I find it helps to check online to make sure youre not getting ripped off!! You might look at an item in store that is $10 (or more) higher than what you could pay online, often in better condition. They want to make a profit, I get it. But I think it sort of defeats part of the purpose of a thrift store when things are that expensive. Their book section is the worst. Ive never seen books cost so much in a thrift store before! No wonder they have so many of them!!
I love going ther because they have everything I need and there no other place I would go to!!!!
Pretty busy right now, no changing room open but we made it work 😃
Clean, well organized Friendly staff
Always great
Overpriced. Store employees are not helpful actually rather rude as if the customer is an inconvenience. Only found one young man (think his name is Christian?) who was amazing. The rest act as though you are bothering them when you ask to see something in one of their jewelry cases. The prices are insane. I won’t be back.
I always find things. Im not sure who does the prices though....... You get things donated so why does a dollar tree item cost more at your store. If thats the case.... I hope some how you give back to the community and have someone price items realistic prices.
Was asked to wear a mask when i entered so i put it on . then this crazy worker lady decided to follow me thru the store to make sure i kept it on even though i complied .wont be back thanks. Way to make your customers uncomfortable .
Lots of clothes and stuff very clean and fair prices
Priçes are ridiculous lately (January 2020) Used old Navy Cloths sold at the same price as the store sells for New. An employee told me they purge stuff that doesnt sell a few times a week. They donate to third world country but if they lowered their prices to a
I know people have mixed feeling on this place on here, and I think they are well placed. Sort of has a thrift store vibe, but definitely a cut above Ollies and thrift stores (ie no smell, a bit better kept, has a rewards program, etc.). They dont have ridiculously cheap stuff, but I feel they have good quality stuff at bargain prices. Have gotten some super-nice coats and nice Sabres gear for dirt cheap. Again, they seem to be more of a for-profit place (I think?), so if that irks you, then maybe Goodwill is a better bet. Im fine with this place if Im looking for a nice, gently-used item at a great price.
Great staff. Great store.
What a great place to purchase gently used items. The store is clean and well organized. The staff are constantly tidings things. Bought H O train car and houses in thier original boxes. Go often to get the deals
50% off days are really busy and crowded. Go early if you can for the best selections. Plan on spending time there. You have to look through the racks, but well worth the deals youll find.
Love this place! Some people complain about the prices but I dont think they are that bad. I would rather pay a little more to shop at a place where it doesnt smell then shop at store where you gotta plug your nose at.
Lots of stuff. Nice selection. Decent prices.
Great place for recycled goods. Super organized and easy to browse, even the household goods. The organization makes up for higher prices of other thrift stores.
What used to be a low key, reasonable thrift store has turned into an overpriced, chaotic mess. A used lawn chair for 80 bucks, really? 30 dollars for a painting? Its a shame because the staff is always friendly and the location is great, but we wont be back.
Savers is clean and well lit, with lots of books as well as the usual clothes and housewares. I usually find newer and better quality stuff there than at other thrift stores, though prices are a touch higher.
Great store. 7 out of 7. Will shop agen.
The worst, overpriced thrift store Ive ever been in. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! You can buy things cheaper at the mall or other retail location. They had a little Star Wars drinking glass that was priced at $13.99, and two tubes of toothpaste, one looked used, for $4.99. I brought this to the attention of the management and they said (in a very condescending manor) they have a team of experts that strategically price their items. I dont know what these people are thinking, but I tell everyone to avoid this place like the plague. 0 out of 5 stars, two thumbs down!
Clean place to buy things
I love going to this store and finding teeasures.
Prices are way to high for a thrift store. They were charging $49.99 for a designer name brand purse that had holes, stains and major wear on it. It was not in good condition. Also charging $5 bucks for one infant clothing item. I can go to the orginal store and purchase for that price and bring the item back. Name brand clothes were way to expensive, I could go to Marshalls for the price that they were asking for and I could bring the item back. Way to expensive for a thrift store.
Great prices and selection but I still wish that stores like this could organize the sizes of clothing a little better.
Back when savers first opened it had reasonable prices, but the longer its been open the prices keep going up. The clothing doesnt seem to change much,. The bathrooms are gross and vandalized heavily. The club card they have you sign up basically doesnt do anything or save you money. They are a for profit business so donating here does nothing but make money for the company.
Thrift Store Quality at Department Store Prices. If I wanted to pay $8 for a stained my little pony I would take my chances with eBay. Amvets and A+ are much more reasonably priced with basically the same products. The only saving grace is shopping for clothes which are decent.
Good
We usually find a few treasures in this store. Overall, not bad pickins for a thrift store.
Great place for great value. Better then other thrift stores.
I found 2 12inch 1998 kensworth stereo subwoofers for 12.99 each that is a very good price
Lots of stuff!
Honestly the best thrift store I have ever been to
Great prices on many of their items.
