I havent written a review for a place ever, but I just have too for here. It was such a sweet little place, the coffee was great and my mother can attest that the smoothies are amazing as well. Its also clearly a very accepting space, and has a larger book selection than youd except. My mother had gone to 2 separate Barnes and Nobles looking for a certain book, she didnt find it there but she managed to find it at this shop. The staff are amazing as well may I add, very helpful and receptive to questions- and also just cheerful and joyful to talk to in general.

Theyve got really good coffee. Roasted there and good pastries. I enjoyed sitting on the top deck, too. The pumpkin bread is good too.

Cute bookstore, good coffee. Would have given 5 stars, but I am not a fan of the man from the bookstore side, rudely interrupting out conversation to ask us to leave, 10 min before close. I know what time you close, and we were already getting ready to go. I have wondered about this store for years. This was my 1st visit, and because of him, likely my last.

I love to support my local small business.. but the owner at this place was extremely rude! I heard her tell another lady that she could careless if she lost customers....um? And the website says community driven.. I think not!!Bring your business elsewhere.. to a small business that appreciates the community that supports them!

I love supporting small, local businesses, especially this past year through the pandemic. Ive especially enjoyed coming here, where two of my favorite things are sold, books and coffee. Unfortunately today I had a pretty poor experience with customer service, and I wont be back. The owner (?? Or Im assuming she was), decided to police how we wore our masks (post mandate too), and said she refused to serve us if we didnt wear it appropriately. Which, of course, is her right as a business owner. But as we left and said wed go elsewhere, she insisted that shes okay with losing Our business. Too bad. Ill continue to support local businesses that can be respectful of everyone, and dont take it upon themselves to police everyone walking through their doors.

My mocha was fantastic! They have free wifi and a very large selection of books. My only gripe is my daughter insists on purchasing a book Everytime Im here. Lol. Seriously though, very knowledgeable staff for both books and coffee beverages.

Great cup of coffee and friendly atmosphere. Definitely a near daily stop anytime of the day. Bonus being able to pre order books😀

This place is so amazing, it is a combination of my too favorite places bookshops and cafes. They have a huge variety of books and it is such a comfy area. The coffee area has a great selection and the cold coffee I had was great! The patio area is a nice place to sit and relax and I highly recommend it.

Buffalo is so lucky to have this place. I have never had a negative experience here. The staff is beyond friendly and always helpful and kind. The new addition is wonderful and makes shopping or stopping by for a drink even more pleasant and comfortable. The prices on books are competitive and they can usually order books that arent in stock quickly.

Its fine. Coffee isnt especially nuanced (dont expect sophisticated, hipster-style notes), but its fine. The books are cool; tasteful selection, with a good vibe to the setup.

Love this local bookstore. Great selection, welcoming staff, and wonderful coffee. We buy our fair trade coffee to take home as well as enjoy a latte and conversation in the coffee nook. My husband and I go in at least once a week for coffee. We also love buying books here. If they do not have the book we are looking for they have always offered to order them in for us. We truly love the staff and they are always kind and welcoming.

We had coffee here for the first time today with our nephews from out of town and we will be back! Bobby was so wonderful to us and the kids! She recommended drinks for us, helped us pick snacks and was funny! Appreciate the help and sense of humor today.

This is exactly what you would want in a local Indy book store. It is warm and friendly, with the greatest staff. They always have stock of the books we are looking for, and I’m a huge reader. There are often signed copies of new titles in which is such a treat. Normally we are just there for the books but the coffee bar is great and has all the selection you could want. Please support your local businesses, gems like this one are too precious to lose!

I enjoyed a coffee out on their patio very nice sunny day with a view of Buffalo lake. The book shop is cozy and the staff is friendly. Plan to visit again.

Great atmosphere. Lots of new books for sale, greeting cards and some other unique gift items. There is a coffee shop here too with wonderful and robust coffee as well as some sweets to go along with your cup of coffee. There is seating inside as well as outside.

Nice shop. The workers were really nice as wellGood selection of books to choose from. There were some great sitting places all over the shop. I didnt get into the coffee shop portion, but it looked nice from what I could see.

Major construction going on. Loud, dusty and very cramped. I was under the impression that they sold used books. Didnt find any. The coffee however smell terrific!

Looking for gift ideas and found several!! Comfortable chairs to sit in and overview. Small groups of friends sitting,visiting with great shades of coffee. Even the newspaper available. Store employees available, knowledgeable and will order books.

I truly love this place. Im a huge book enthusiast and call me crazy but I have caught myself in the middle of up to five books a the same time. All that aside I by all my books here they always have a great selection and if they ever are lacking the book Im looking for they are very good at finding and ordering it for me in a very timely manor. I had ordered a special book for a friend a few weeks ago and needed it in before I left. Normally a week is pushing it. But they did what they could and got it t me the day before I had to leave. I miss the smell of fresh pages and coffee already but I can promise ill be going back here soon.

Great coffee and atmosphere to read, chat, or work. Friendly baristas and staff. Lots of specially drinks and classics, but they also have some coffees roasted in the shop. My kids love the pastries and books.
