Chris at the Eggertsville/Snyder location was excellent. He was very professional, got back to me immediately, explained every step, and offered me options. Not to mention Scruggs has a free roadside service that they offer customers, free of charge. They did a lot of work, and got my car back in the same day. They truly took the stress out of the process. As a busy working mom, this was a wonderful experience, which is something I have NEVER said in conjuction with car repair before. Thank you Chris.

This morning I got into my car after a rainstorm last night and wiped away the condensation only to realize it wasnt going away. About a minute on the road and I realized I couldnt see out my windshield without keeping my wipers on full blast on a sunny day. There was something greasy on the front windshield that made it impossible to see out and very dangerous to continue driving. I pulled into a lot full of cars and it happen to be this auto shop. Greg was getting out of his car not having even clocked in yet when he saw me circling my car with this worried look and asked me what was wrong. I told him what was going on and he didnt miss a beat - he stepped inside and dropped off his stuff then came out to take a look for me. He was able to figure out roughly what the fix would be (de-greaser) and pulled my car to the garage and cleaned it off. The de-greaser did the trick and he even refilled my window washer fluid. When I asked how much I owed he said nothing - not even for the washer fluid he topped off for me which I would have had to otherwise buy myself. He was very reassuring and tried to trouble shoot what could have caused the build up and cleaned it off for me right then and there so I could be on my way. All-in-all he showed they definitely care about customers first, his first and only priority was to get me on the road again safely. I will return here when needed and cannot thank this team enough for everything they did to make a bad morning better.

This shop is run by fair and honest mechanics. They will take the time to explain the problems they found, take pictures, and walk you through how they will fix it. They are not pushy and very reasonable with their pricing. They also value your time and get things done by when they tell you, if not sooner.

I have always taken my car back to the car dealer for repairs. Recently, Scruggs Auto Repair opened in Eggertsville... a walk from my home. I was first impressed with the appearance of the building itself ... well maintained, attractive. I read the reviews of the service and they were extremely positive. So, I recently needed car repair and decided to give Scruggs a try.The service is fantastic from initial check-in (Charlie, Jeff), diagnostic evaluation and repair. The cost was reasonable. My car runs smoothly. The staff is definitely dedicated to quality work and customer satisfaction.I would highly recommend Scruggs and plan to continue to go there in the future.

The were incredible. My brakes were bad when I called transit. They had a week wait time, but one of the owners said he could take me in a day at Eggert and main. Charlie there was fantastic and kept me in the loop of exactly what I needed. My sensor problem was fixed and my brakes are better than when the truck was brand new. The truck drives better and not a sound. Im very happy and all my future work will be done at Scruggs.

Charlie was able to get me in on a Monday morning on such short notice. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. What I also really liked was that Scruggs documents everything very thoroughly with pictures and price quotes before they do anything. These then get sent to your mobile device and you can accept or decline services. I will definitely be coming back when the next problem arises.

Ive always heard good things about Scruggs, I personally use the location on Eggert and I have to say that Charlie the manager there as well as the services that the rest of the staff provide have made repairing and modding my vehicle a breeze. They 100% go through everything with a fine-tooth comb. I cant speak enough on how convenient the the software is that they use, for keeping track of your vehicle and communicating with you, after my few visits to Scruggs I can comfortably say that it is the only place that I will be taking my vehicle.

Knowledgeable and informative. Walked me through the process with no pressure or charge to do the work. On my second visit, the owner was there. He is a pro. My car was on the lift and fixed the problem that I came in for. He gave me advice that helped me, not his business because I didnt have the work done. On my way with no charge.

I had a very short wait time for an inspection. Charlie and the staff were very kind and answered all of my questions. Always a pleasure to do business with.

I drive a lifted 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I went in with a suspension/ power steering issue from doing donuts. Told them soon as I walked through the door about a bad Experience my friend had with them trying to upcharge him and say a lot was wrong that wasnt. He then brought his jeep his dealer and had it diangnosed and they said all the things were fine. When I brought my jeep to shruggs I was 90% sure i needed a powersteering pump, I told them I ONLY wanted to fix the underlying issue. I was expecting them to be professional and be able to diagnose the issue. Instead they came out with a HUGE LIST. I was told I needed a power steering flush, engine air filter, windshield wipers, They said my Tie rod was bad, Pit man arm loose at steering box, track bar bad, all four ball joints, told me my alignment was bad, my radiator was leaking, real axle seals, and all my exhaust flanges were bad. Were looking at thousands of dollars of damage from me doing a donut and loosing power steering??????? Told them to lower my car I would fix it myself. Went and bought a $220 Power Steering pump, installed it myself in the cold, reinstalled my dual steering stabilizer and my jeep is perfect. Drives on a dime. Alignment is perfect. You can let go of the steering wheel at 60 and it doesnt move. I really wish I could tell you I had a good experience but it was awful and they just tried to take money from me. Would never recommend or send anyone here.
