Doug does great work. Ive brought a few vehicles in several times and have always been very pleased with the work done, from mechanical work to custom installation. Theres certainly a value to quality work and I feel hes been very fair. I would recommend to anyone as well as high end/custom vehicle owners.

Communication with the owner of this shop has been terrible. Got my car back is doing the exact same thing it was doing before and I just spent hundreds of dollars here and didn’t have a car for a week. WILL NEVER BRING MY VEHICLE HERE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME.

Extensive knowledge of imported autos. Doug is a guy you can trust with any problem. Hes fair with costs, only does whats necessary, and knows the craft inside and out. I drive to him from by MSP. Hes that good, and a good mechanic is hard to find.

PLEASE READ IF YOURE CONSIDERING THIS SHOP.I brought two of my cars to Doug simultaneously, after about a week I picked up the first one I expected the bill to be $700 or less turned out to be $1,000. Had no communication that the bill would be more however I figured car would run well after that, drove about two miles down the road could tell car was running incorrectly. Check engine light came on, obviously he did not test drive had to bring the car right back.SECOND CAR I brought in because it was making a burning oil smell was told nothing wrong with it just replaced a hose clamp on top radiator, drove the car five miles down the road and there was steam coming off the engine... got it home without blowing it up found that he broke the top radiator overflow (that part doesn’t just break on its own) now have to replace entire radiator.I used to recommend Doug to friends and family after this experience I really hope you find a different shop. He says it’s not his problem and a lot of the time when you bring things into his shop he says he can’t find the problem... if I could give negative stars on this I would. I’m out a lot of money and need to have one of my cars towed from my house to a real shop.
