I cant say enough great things about this place. Theyve become my mechanic place. Theyre always nice, prices are CRAZY affordable, the work is always good and theyre always efficient. Never takes too long. I honestly didnt think auto body shops like theres existed but, apparently they do. Every shop should be like this!

I brought a used car in for a pre-purchase inspection. They are accommodating about scheduling the inspection, and the inspection was extremely efficient, thorough, and reasonably priced. The technician explained everything thoroughly and clearly and answered all of my questions. They caught some issues that the dealer had missed during its own inspection. Highly recommend!

Honest Auto Repair make sure you whats wrong and they dont try and upsell you. The pricing I had received here was at least 25% less than a national brand Plus Maxs is a locally owned and run business.

Horrible experience. Do not recommend this shop. The owner is a liar and the mechanics don’t even know how to change simple brakes. They will take advantage of you if you don’t know anything about cars. They replaced my windshield with an aftermarket windshield and bathroom caulk. I brought my vehicle back about 6 or 7 times because my brakes wouldn’t stop squealing. I didn’t ask for a dime, I just asked to correct the issue, and then the owner and mechanics told me I’m just hungry for money. “You just want money” is what they repeated and I didn’t ask for a penny... Then after I posted this review, the owner called and threatened me to remove it or he could “make things worse”.

Went for an inspection.....they failed me for tints that were rated at 60% when the car previous to mine at the shop left with an inspection with tints that were AS BLACK AS NIGHT never going there again. Used to bring all my cars there. Never again

Really grateful for this mechanic. When I was a broke college student several years back my car check engine light went off and I really couldnt afford to have it break down during finals. The mechanic there was so kind and checked my computer, I forgot what the issue was something with refilling the coolant or something. It was a very minor repair that the mechanic just took care of without asking. Even if it was simple, I braced myself for the bill. When I asked what I owed him he told me to not worry about it and come back if anything else came up. I later moved away from Buffalo, but if I still lived there I would totally go to this place. They care about people, they arent trying to nickel and dime, they are considerate and reasonable. Thank you again, Max the mechanic if you read this!

Recently had an inspection. Everything was fair, knowledgeable, and prompt. The team there offered solutions to correct codes, parts and was honest. Didnt feel like they would say anything to get more money out of me like a previous place. I recommend them I would go back.

Be prepared, bring your mask. Inspection was quick and simple. It cost only $21 for the inspection. Rest of the things are as needed basis.

Went here for a simple inspection, come to find out my car needs new tires (which I suspected, it started to skid but I never checked them only put air in), my muffler was broken and an electrical problem as well. The owner was so quick with planning and repairs, they were done in only so fast. The price was amazing for all this as well, and the staff were excellent. 100% recommend this place

Randomly called to get pricing on mount and balance new tires, which they gave me a good price. While I was here and asked about pricing for brakes and rotors, also great price. Owner said they can do them now !! Cancelled my appt. at another local/ brand shop! Very happy!!

RIP off artists. Especially on older cars. Didnt check what was wrong with the car, just stated what they wanted to replace because it was more money for them. Find a different mechanic

Spoke with the owner about needing new brake pads and wanting a tire rotation. Brought in at 9am as suggested by the owner. He stated that they should have down by 12pm. He called around 9:30 confirming I needed pads (which I knew) and mentioned the time again it should be done. I then had to call to find out if my car was done or not. He told me yes. I got there and he then told me they put new rotors on and new brake pads (he never told me he was putting new rotors on). Which is fine that they did this but I was NEVER told new rotors was being done. Once I picked up my car and brought it home, I realized they NEVER rotated my tires. I knew this because when I brought this is I had a missing tire stem cap on my back tire. It was in the exact same spot and I was charged the same amount regardless. A few days later, my fiance needed her car worked on (and I went here due to how quick of a turn around it was) and she believed it was wheel bearing. We brought it in and told him believe in was a bearing. We had to call (yet again) for an update. He told me they believed it was the wheel bearing as well and also stated that the right one was awful and had to be fixed, and to call back in 10 minutes for pricing because they were waiting to get an answer. I called back exactly in 10 minutes, and this was 5 minutes to them closing. The line immediately went to the an answering machine that isnt set up. I called back 5 more times and again, no one picked up. We waited until the next day and called in the morning. He then stated what the price was for one wheel bearing repair, so we said to stick with the one for now. He said it would be done by 2-3PM. We waited and again, no call. I called at 3pm asking for an update. Now he said it wasnt the wheel bearing, that he had some technician check it and that now it was the struts that were going bad. They then got two brand new tires (WITHOUT CALLING US OR TELLING US WHAT WAS HAPPENING) and installed them. Yes, much cheaper however, there is absolutely no follow up with them. We then went and picked up the car and it drives fine now. Very frustrating to say the least without any follow up, not explaining much of what is going on and not doing everything as requested. Extremely nice folks. Just extremely frustrated as stated.UPDATE: After the owner said that my fiancé’s struts were terrible and that we’d have to get new ones within a month, we went and got another opinion. Shocking, he was wrong. The struts were perfectly fine, all she needed as an alignment. This shop has no idea what they’re doing, they don’t tell you what they’re doing to your vehicle and they hope you know exactly what is wrong with your car when you drop it off. I would never recommend this shop to anyone unless you’re looking to get ripped off and little to no professionalism.

Please dont buy vehicles from him. He will take less from you and eventually charge more when you visit him by saying I havent charged for labor. I had a transmission issue within 4 months of purchase of the vehicle. Engine light was always on. Spend a couple of dollars more and go to a decent shop. Please dont do cash transactions as you wont have a record. Since it has an official DMV collaboration, you can file a complain against his repairs and get your money back. SAVE YOUR MONEY! A dissatisfied customer. If you still dont want to listen and waste your hard earned money, you can go to his shop.

Locally owned, far better than nearby chain auto shops. Honest people who dont try to scam you for higher prices parts or needed work.Update:I took my beater Kia here before and now take my new car here for anything thats not under dealer warranty. Prices have remained fair and turnaround is still quick a year later.

Ive been trying to take care of my check engine/vsc warning light for about 2 months. I took my Toyota Avalon with 147k miles to several places and a few places tried for valiantly but was unsuccessful. It took the better part of a week but Rasheed/Hector and the crew fixed it! The car got some new bushings and stabilizer bars and now drives like a dream. Falling in love with my 2001 Plain Lexus once again thanks to Max. Its the first time Ive been there but it wont be the last.

For the first time, I enjoyed an honest and serious mechanic. They dont try to overcharge you or make you pay for unnecessary repairs. Thank you John Ghostab and Phil.

I went to check why my vehicle consuming more gas then usual, a guy checked with OBT device and said it’s the computer temperature sensor that’s gone bad, he replaced it and changed me $150 dollars, I didn’t say anything as long as it gets fixed but I drove on regular basis it didn’t change, it’s bogus man!!😒🙁😑
