Do not believe these negative folks. Maybe they were having a bad and didnt expect to have adhere to UPS store policies. Or thought the employees for UPS worked for them. I have done business with these folks nearly a year and everyone has been great from manager to really young dude to the young lady. Ive never heard any of them be rude or disrespectful as these comments suggests. Nobody wants bad customer service. You wont find that here. Frequent customer

I have worked with this UPS store (for over 5yrs) shipping bulky items for our Tree Nursery business down the road. I feel that they have always gone out of their way to provide great service to us - competitive pricing options, quick to answer questions in person and email, friendly and personal service and they have really gotten to know us and our unique shipping needs.I would choose THIS store over other UPS stores I have worked with - they have a clean, tidy and organized store, employees that help to problem solve, and several long term employees make it a good experience.THIS STORE WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU AND IS WORTHY OF YOUR BUSINESS!

Can I give Zero star for the most horrible customer experience. The man on the counter is not just rude, he is bordering aggression when handling deliveries. He yelled at me when it was he who did not hear what I said. This was not a one off experience. I have huge respect for delivery workers but this man deserves zilch.

I run continuing education courses for dentists and needed to ship supplies to 32 dentists for an upcoming course. Al and Amanda at UPS 318 Half Day Rd in Buffalo Grove, IL took care of everything. I brought in the supplies and the addresses and they boxed, addressed, did return labels and shipped them within a few hours. They were so organized and helpful. Very professional store. I highly recommend them.

Great customer support today

This is my neighborhood UPS. This happened second time (Fri late afternoon this time). Terrible customer service. Rep talks with an attitude and made me feel unwelcome. Behaved like teaching me basics of shipping in an arrogant manner. Yes, I definitely can take my business somewhere else. 👎🏼

The lady had the worst attitude because a whole 3 people were waiting in the store 15 minutes before closing. Make sure you know what the H method of shipping or the red head lady that is strung out will try and rip you a new one lol

I have been been using this UPS Store services for over five years. The staff is always very helpful with my many (sometimes complex) requests. I appreciate their attention to detail and helpful demeanor.

This is my neighborhood UPS - unpleasant experience as the public notary (Al) at this location refused to notarize my property sale documents toady! He indicated that non Cook County UPS store locations have corporate instructions NOT to notarize any property sale documents for Cook County. When I inquired if this was a recent development - he rationalized it by suggesting that there have been fraudulent documents floating around for Cook County and that I have to take it to a Bank where they will take my fingerprints before they notarize Cook County property sale documents. By this time it was obvious that the public notary at this location was just making stuff up; left my neighborhood UPS store not to return again. This location is super convenient (walking distance from my home) - realized how redundant it is with other more functional UPS locations within a 2 mile radius.Notary public at one of those other UPS locations gave their full attention and patiently helped me with notarization & shipment.

This place is a great friendly environment. My family has their mail sent to them directly and they know us very well and always has the mail ready for us when they see us walk through the door. I find the atmosphere to be very inviting. I also needed help preparing for a return and was instructed on what to do. The younger guy was able to help me with any questions I had. I highly recommend this place.

This UPS Store have always given me and my family excellent customer service and printed products. There is another store in Buffalo Grove that is terrible! This one, on Half Day Road is great!

Wow, UPS really knows how to rip off its customers! - I paid for a shipment online and have a label printed out at the store. They charged me $1 for printing the label. and one of the employees said to me Its a SERVICE we provide here. A rip-off service it is!

Helpful but with an attitude. Training needed!

Al Crow & his team are great people. They helped me get my business up on its feet in our first two years, when we had a mailbox at this location. We only had a small box, but Al would let me ship large boxes to their location and never give me any grief about it. He would also personally help me bring the boxes out to my car with his dolly. Great, friendly people and reasonable prices. I still use them for shipping time-sensitive documents and packages, too. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Recently had company brochures printed - the color was sharp, extra attention to detail, they turned out great. I received excellent service and quick turnaround time. I would highly recommend their printing along with their many other services. Been having Todd print company brochures, business cards and applications for a few years now, always great!

I go to this store a few times a year and they have always been great!

Older rep with beard was rude. I have used many UPS stores but this was the first time at this location and the last. I was shipping a package for my son. Rep asked what was in the package. I said I wasn’t sure but it was probably computer parts.l said I was never asked that question before other than if it was perishable, etc. so I texted my son as the rep waited and my son confirmed it was a computer part. I told the rep and he said, “well you said you didn’t know what it was and I can’t ship it without knowing”. I said that I just confirmed and told him what it was and he proceeded to cut it open to confirm we weren’t lying???? Then he taped it up and pretended like everything was just fine. Nope. Terrible customer service not believing a customer. I said that when I walked out. I hope he doesn’t do something to the package.

Rude personal reviewers were right

Now normally I just come in do my business and leave a half review not caring. But I have to say I came in on today the 26th rushing to get things done because I’m forgetful. And the young man working (Eric I’m certain was his name) was so patient and polite with me. I didn’t have anything in order and he was just great. I don’t know when the last time he’s gotten a raise or some earned free time but he deserves it! Eric was truly amazing and helped me out without giving me any problems whatsoever. Keep hiring people like Eric!

Great owner imo, as a fellow small business owner, these are the type of places I like to use. Not sure about any of the unfriendly comments. Ive been in there 100+ times and rarely is anyone upset, if anything Ive seen them get yelled at about things beyond their control and theyve always handled it professionally and with the utmost care for the customer. Ive done business with them for 5+ years and Im sure I will continue to do so!

Was helpful but I needed something printed from my email address and I recieved a slight attitude about not knowing why I just couldnt print it at home. Seemed slightly annoyed by my being there. Not sure if I would return to this location.

Not sure why there are negative reviews. The owner, Rick, was very pleasant and took care of my business smoothly...all with a warm smile and then wishing me a good rest of the day!

I have spoken to multiple people and the young guys are fantastic to work with however, my main person of contact and service was todd who was very condescending, rude, unhelpful, impatient and got visible irritated with me multiple times. Solely because of this store, I have switched to using Exclusively USPS and Fedex.

Horrible Service! We opened a box 3 years ago renewing it every year. On September 5th we did renew it and paid $228 for 1 more year. Last week my wife went to collect the mail and they told us there is someone else under this box. They dont even have us in their system even though I am receiving mail there for 2 years. Owner is very rude and didnt even want to find a solution of this problem. I will go to BBB, UPS complains department and will depute my transaction with this store. If I dont find a solution and they can not retrieve my lost mail I will sue this guy.

Always a good experience. They put my larger stuff in the larger boxes if I have to pickup the items after hours. I have been with them for 9 years and intend to stay with them. PS: I think it is possible that some of the negative reviews are erroneously for another location (based on incorrect details that are noted).

They do not offer notary for passport applications. Google suggests that they do!
