Super clean and organized. I just wish they had some kind of spirt section so parents can buy coach gifts and other things. They do have football helmet display cases and baseball cases.

A very good selection of art and crafts supplies! I was a little disappointed in their selection of storage for crafts. Do remember to get on their email list, as their emails contain both specials and coupons.

They were diligent on crowd control. Liked the new merchandise for Christmas. Pricing not clear! Several items had multiple tags. I did not buy what I wanted because it had 3 tags & of course it rang up at highest price.

Clean store... well stocked. Employees are very helpful. The sales are usually very good. I like to buy the decorated boxes when they are on sale from 40 to 75 percent off. I am an artist so I also buy my art supplies. Restrooms are always clean.The question for you at Michaels is, What Will You Make Today?. You have so many choices! They also offer classes on a wide variety of craft and art (ask for their scheduling).The area for this Michaels is very good for a lot of reasons. Knotts Berry Farm and other entertainment favorites are nearby. There are so many restaurants, shops, stores and a huge Mall all nearby. Had exactly what I wanted

First time coming to this one, but as always, it has exactly what I was looking for.

I like crafts....who doesnt? Ok, lots of guys and some gals dont but the rest of us like to create. The staff has always been friendly, so you get stars for that. Michaels has a great selection of items and prices are somewhat competetive with stores that offer crafts. Im sure their 40% off coupon is always a favorite with customers. Previously being a flower shop owner I know the minimum markup for all products that go from the box it arrived in, to the shelf, are automatically doubled and many times 2 1/2 to 3x marked up. So.......when we get those 40% off coupons, how about letting us customers apply it to our ENTIRE order whether its on sale or not? Can you imagine how much $$$$$ we would spend knowing its all 40% off? Michaels would also make considerablymore $$$$$. Thats how I did business. I worked on a smaller profit margin but overall made more money due to higher sales. Just makes sense. So Michaels? How about it. Whats the worst that can happen? We get 40% off....hey well even take 30% on occasion, but YOU will financially knock it out of the park. Regarding your stars, I deducted 1 stars because I know you can do better with your customers. Imagine if we all stopped buying from you and went to Joanns who offers 50% off and sometimes 60% off more often. Come one Michaels, you got nothing to lose so charge forward and we will too.... using our VISA, Discover and every other piece of plastic we carry in our wallet.

Nice and clean everything is easy to find like always...only thing I was kinda sad about that the Halloween stuff was already being pushed out and its not even October... Well yes tomorrow is the 1st but still hardly any thing left already started with the Xmas stuff so just a heads up if you go for seasonal stuff always go 2 months in advance..

This location has great inventory and whatever I need, but the line to check out has always been an issue for me. Theres only a handful of times more than one person was working the checkout. I definitely dont go here if I need to run in and out, I spend more time in line to pay than getting my items.

My hunt for things for a nautical themed baby shower was complete after picking up these gems..

Michaels always has plenty of stuff for crafting and projects. I always take my kids here for supplies for class projects or little fun things to keep them off of their phones for a while. Great for creating memorable gifts for mom for Mothers Day and I like wandering the store for ideas.

Custom framing staff is a great team to work with.

Team members were nice and helpful, proper social distancing was in place. Not enough hand sanitizers and found at least one empty

I was in need of Printable HTV I went to 3 different michaels with zero luck. I called this location and a young lady looked up the item for me she walked to the isles and personally picked the items for me and saved them!!! Keep in mind the store was about to close in 15 minutes!!! Beautiful customer service. Michaels in Whittier should have this kind of customer service.

Cashier was really rude when I was trying to politely use a joanns coupon. Which on line states michaels takes all competitors coupons.. i ended up using my 20% off michaels instead.. i never do these but I feel cashiers should be less rude when trying to play banker 😂😂 no wonder why I only shop at hobby lobby ..

This store in particular seems to have a larger variety of items than other Michaels that Ive shopped at. They often have some pretty spectacular sales on art supplies, which you may know to become very pricey. I recommend this store!

Why arent the registers ever staffed accordingly to the amount of people in line. It is all michaels that Ive been to. Usually only one cashier until theres like ten people waiting.

I grew up shopping at Michaels with my family, buying materials for all of our creative ideas. I love that Michaels has a wide selection of products for any imaginable project, plus knowledgeable staff who can help locate items or figure out the best thing for your creation. Another cool thing about Michaels is that they carry many gift items and home decor as well.

One of my favourite art supplies stores. You can find pretty much anything you need for general arts and crafts. The staff is usually rather helpful. I found some awesome marked down items at this location.

Always enjoy coming to this store. The staff are helpful, but I do feel they are slightly under staffed. Maybe 2 more CSRs and theyd be set. Seems theyre always busy stocking and therefore it can be hard to find someone in the close area to check for stock or just answer a question or two. Store is as clean as they can get it, usually have enough products available, and not a long wait to checkout.

I was making something as a wedding anniversary gift and came here to get one of the little wooden boxes they sell you can paint or decorate or whatever. Three different employees asked if I needed anything. One was very creative and found an item I could adapt to my project. I was really impressed with this store overall. It was also really nice AC in there on a hot day.

Bella(Orange location) & Carmen(Buena Park location) were extremely helpful and friendly. Made my shopping experience so much better. A+++++ customer service.

I like that every Michaels Ive ever visited has the exact same layout: it makes finding what I need easy no matter where I am. We had to stop and pick up some fairy lights for a wedding. They had an acceptable selection.Almost no wait time in line.They always seem to have a lot of things on sale.

So as many of you know, Michaels has been around for many years. Its always a great place to go find small little knick-knacks, anything you might need for a craft project, for weddings, party items, silk flowers, you name it they pretty much have it! I really like this place.

Always a good place to go to buy art supplies, hobby items etc.. Almost anything to might need for crafting is here. I can be a little difficult to find someone to help you, but once you track them down they are great. You can get framing done here and they offer good discounts if you use their mobile app or are signed up for their flyers.

Did curb side pick up, first in line. Everyone behind us was helped... Everyone including drivers that just came in. Had to call twice for help and then had to stop an associate that came outside for help. After 20 minutes of waiting for a single small item someone came out and gave us our order. No apology given. Should have gone to Joannes instead.

Good place for arts and crafts supply. Just walking around the store can give a person many cool ideas. The help was attentive Ana understanding to what we needed. We would highly recommend Michaels.

Very friendly but low staff

Found everything we needed but staff was very aloof in the store. About two people at the cash register, only one on the floor, took us a while to find someone to help us out but they did help us out quickly. Just wish staff was more readily available to help. Other than that the store was clean and it wasnt too busy, bathrooms were clean too but you have to ask the staff to unlock it which again, was hard to find people so it was annoying.

Its Michaels in December, expect exhausted employees caked in glitter, hassled women aggressively pushing carts through aisles while slapping their childrens hands should they dare touch something, women whose only craft of the year was picking out craft beers for a poolside party shoving stuff in their cart convinced they have channeled their inner Martha Stewart and can do it all in two days while random men wander around in a shell shocked state. I visited this location earlier today. Very much a craft store that is well stocked. I was able to find exactly what I needed although their was a line for the cash registers all persons who were a available were at the registers.

This Michaels is not one of the best ones but its good if you know exactly what you want and already have a good idea where to find it. Ive gone to this store at least 20 times and any time Ive needed help its hard to find someone and when I have theyre not very helpful or very friendly. I have however gotten good service from 3 cashiers who helped me get the best price for what I was buying and because of that I return to this store when I know what Im needing and not needing allot of help. You wont find a good selection of certain craft supplies at the Buena park store like you do at other Michaels stores.

Crafts crafts crafts everything! Great place to just go look around and get ideas like I did. They are a bit on the pricier side, ok a lot on the pricier side but the quality is good. Seems to always be a long check-out line, so go with ample time.
