This place has nice, friendly employees that smile and are friendly. Stays pretty clean and organized unlike some with boxes so deep you cant even maneuver the isle . The only reason I give 4 stars is the lack of pretty basic inventory my last 3 visits. They dont have any clothes besides swear shirts and pants. Also the dont carry the latch hardware for a door to be locked although they do have the locks nor do they have adhesive spray. Other than that very convenient and I go there often.

I love this Dollar General specifically because its by my house and they have AMAZING stock but yesterday (04/14/21) I went during the day, purchased a few things and went back at 9:35pm to return them since I didnt like the planters I bought. Well before I even left my home I googled to see what time DG closes and it says 10pm. If they closed at 9 I didnt want to waste MY TIME. It even says 10pm on their door! Well I pull up and the doors are closed like they didnt slide open when I was walking in; instead the closer or whoever was there opened the door. So she asks me what I was needing and I said well you close at 10pm and I wanted to return these planters for some others, didnt even let me walk in (which I knew the exact ones I wanted). She then asked do you have your receipt with tons of hesitation and I said yes maam I do. Her response was Ugh maam everyone assumes we close at 10pm but we close at 9:40pm so we would have to do the return tomorrow. I said well your door and google says 10pm, so youre telling me I cant do a quick return? She said No we close the safe at 9:40pm.I understand people are tired and have worked long shifts, so do I everyday but its a business. I dont get to turn a potential renter away because they get here at 4:45pm for a showing when I close at 5pm. NO! I have to show them and if they want to apply I have to wait so when it comes to customer service I expect the same. I was very bothered, very annoyed because I got there 20 minutes before 10pm. I was not satisfied with whoever was closing and I believe everyone should be aware incase youre making a quick run for baby wipes or milk or something! Or simply a return. 3 STARS BECAUSE I LOVE THIS DG BUT LOSING 2 FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The employees here are always friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and organized. One of the best, if not the best Dollar General Stores Ive shopped at. Every time I come to Bryan I make atleast 1 shopping trip.

First time visiting that location because its very close from home . Found everything I need it and the costumer service was excellent.

I love DG for the prices. I tried their pick-up service...ummm...why have a pick-up option if you have to go inside the store to get your order once you get there...No curbside? That defeats the whole purpose in an era of CoVid-19!!! Hello!?

Its always the little stores that have shown me least amount of prejudice and make me feel the most welcome. They dont harass me and follow me around the store and all that uncomfortable jazz. Anytime I need help theyre always right there to help me without following me or making me feel like Im being scrutinized

In the next couple of weeks my store will be upside down but my team is doing everything in there power to get it cleaned and organized as quickly as possible. Customer service was awesome, the girls were very friendly and helpful. The negative this store is always a complete mess, boxes of merchandise everywhere. Isles blocked off from boxes. There were 2 employees that were trying to fix shelves but the whole place was in disarray.

Always has different food and non food items than grocery stores. The holiday stuff is always neat too

Dollar General has a lot of online coupons thru the app but there is NO SERVICE inside. That is very aggravating bc you are trying to see you coupons on the app but you cant bc there is no service inside.

They need HELP.. Poor lady was sweet as can be but had a line wrapped through the store.. Also they do those slick adds with the small print They got us on coke products that actually werent on sale... !Very decieving

Since the new Manager the store has gotten alot better! Its slowly but surely getting into shape and the workers are actually polite. Starting to tell the new manager actually cares about the way the store looks! I would say the only downfall to this store would be the rudeness and unthoghtfullness of the customers themselves. You can clearly see a difference if only the customers could do something as simple and easy as returning a buggy. When I was there I seen 4 people walk out with buggies. Me and one other lady was the only one to return them inside as opposed to leaving them between cars and in the bushes.. Come on people if we want a clean and friendly place to shop and the store is clearly doing their job it tells me the customers are the issue 😪 them buggies get tiresome chasing down all day act like you have home training.

Weather was cold outside had my hoodie on I enter and get my stuff then I head to the cashier the old register lady says to me in bad mood next time you come you need to take your hoodie offI said Im sorry but there was no sign outside that says not to wear a hoodie in store I saw the no guns in store ...she reply *well just letting you know next time dont wear your hoodie in store * well next time put a sign how people needs to be dressed to be in your store ...this lady check my one dollar bill to make sure they were real

I like going to this particular ovation however, the place is a train wreck most o the time, the employees dont last long, finding or getting help is a problem and when they have certain sales, you have to double check since they tend to leave old specials up so, confusion is also a problem. It is so close to where I live but Im very satisfied with another one Bryan.

Worst customer experience ever lady argued when I told her that she had not given me the correct amount of change after arguing for 10 mins I was able to get the correct change dont bother with this store and their RUDE EMPLOYEES! And no cell phone signal in the store on top of the rude employees!!.

My son lives in Bryan so everytime I visit I make a point to go to this Dollar General. 9:30pm Christmas Eve I realized I was not ready for Christmas. I was relieved to discover DG was open until 10:00pm. When I rushed thru the door I was greeted by Wale (Wally). He was talking with customers and was more than eager to assist me as I was frantically looking for an item. He had a great attitude and the smile on his face never left. I was calmed down by his demeanor even though they didnt have what I needed. As I listened to him and the other employee interacting with customers I couldnt help thinking about their attitudes. 9:45pm on Christmas Eve and they are on top of their customer service. They werent rude to us. They werent complaining about working so late on Christmas Eve to allow others to shop. I thanked them for this. Last week while visiting again I stopped in the store just to say hello to Wale and to thank him again. I could hear him assisting customers with the same enthusiasm I heard on Christmas Eve. He recognized me and asked how my broken arm was and if I was visiting my son. I was taken aback that he remembered not only me but other details. Wale is the example of what every company should hope to have on their front line representing them to the public.

I stopped in this Dollar General Saturday to buy some American Flags for Graves of Soldiers who I knew died in Iraq. I was walking back up to front of store and my stomach got very upset, there was no one at Register so I frantically looked through aisles when I saw an employee I was excuse me where is the Restroom?She then ask me if I was the delivery driver?I was like no, to which she replied sorry you can’t use the Restroom!I was like why?And then she gave me some lame excuse it was out of order, but why ask me if I worked for Dollar General first?So I was like well could you please come check me out real quick so I can try to get to someplace else to use the bathroom before I have an accident and she gave me attitude like I was interrupting her stocking a shelf and she was to busy to work the register or something.I barely made it up the road to the co-op luckily.

Manager can be rude and usually have to just stand at counter waiting on someone to ring you up for a while. Have bought food without checking expiration date before and it was spoiled. I should have checked before I bought but still frustrating.

What can you say about the Dollar General stores? They are small, cramped, disorganized in their attempt to organize everything, and you find all sorts of interesting people walking inside. But the store was clean, the workers friendly, and the prices were ok. It sure beats going to the crowded grocery store down the street where you have to fight for a parking spot and a short checkout line.
