Ive had nothing but excellent experiences with the Douglass group! They are all very professional, courteous, and provide a much better experience than any other dealership Ive visited.Three years ago, I purchased a used car with them, and they treated me better than every other dealership in Bryan / College Station. I also felt that I got great value on my purchase. They were transparent about the process, vehicle history, and they even took the time to hoist the car up in their shop so that I could inspect the undercarriage when I asked.Just recently, I returned to Douglass looking to sell a car. Although they were not able to take my car into their inventory, their sales manager gave me excellent advice on how to make a private sale, and their service staff helped to answer my questions as well.Simply put, I would recommend the Douglass dealerships to anyone.

The process was easy, quick, and only took about 3 hours start to finish. This included a test drive & them getting my vehicle cleaned and fueled for me to drive home. I will be going back!!!

Our car was in the shop here for repair from August 15 - September 9 2020; 3 Weeks. The reported symptom was an electrical failure in the (less than 3 year old) leased car which caused several malfunctions and finally left the battery dead. Virginia D. in service worked with us and Mazda Corporate to resolve the failures. We were very impressed and appreciative of her willingness to engage and solve the root cause of the failures the vehicle was experiencing. Freeman Mazda in DFW did not attempt to solve the problems.

I have an older VW that has some real confusing issues sometimes. They keep at it until the issue is resolved and communicate and keep me updated. Anything minor I brought in was dealt with promptly and they washed my car and checked everything.

Douglass Mazda in Bryan, TX is an excellent dealership to do business with. Very nice people there. Bought a new 2021 Miata for MSRP. They texted me all the signed bill of sales and deposit receipts. Were prompt in responding to texts. Gave me 2.94% interest rate for 54 months. Had to travel out of state (~230 miles) to get it, and they didnt try to renege on the deal once I got there with the trailer. Bought some all weather floor mats and the ones they gave me were for the wrong model car. They promptly shipped out the correct mats, and let me just keep the other ones, which Im going to sell on ebay. They were straight up with everything, and recommend them. I would call them the nice dealership.

After deciding to trade in our 18 year old truck in for a small cross over suv, I did my research. Deciding on a Mazda was a no brainer after reading all of the reviews and safety ratings.I started my search in south Houston while vacationing down that way and decided on the CRX-5 Touring Preferred. Wanting to keep my business and money local, I returned to College Station, TX to make the purchase. My sales consultant was fantastic. She kept me appraised of new models that came in and assured me that when the time was right, she would find me the car of my dreams. She did just that. I drove off the lot with the most beautiful white pearl with black and white interior CX-5 Grand Touring model. (The ventilated seats are what sold me on this particular model.) It is a sporty, fun, loaded to the hilt amazing car. My 63 husband even fit comfortably in the back seat! I could not be happier with the vehicle or the amount of customer service I am receiving.

Bought a brand new 2021 CX-30. Purchase the premium service plan and the ResistAll. Only to find out the ResistAll was never applied to my car. Mazda is not returning my calls or my emails. Took several calls and several weeks just to get my purchase contract sent to me. Not happy with customer service at all.

I had THE BEST car buying experience at Douglass Mazda. The sales service was excellent. Sales member Justin Poirier was extremely professional, well-mannered, polite, and super helpful. If he is not the head manager, this man certainly is well qualified and deserves a promotion. He was an expert in the vehicle features, (even some I wouldnt of known about otherwise) & went above and beyond in helping with my vehicle purchase, even when I was coming from far out of town and needed to reschedule. He was accommodating to all my questions and very patient, & even helped me figure out my rental car situation after I purchased the new car. My car battery needed to replace and I got over to Douglass Mazda around 6:30pm. The service shop closed at 5. I was very stressed about not being able to get to work the next day, but Douglass Mazda took GREAT care of me. They let me leave my car with them for the night and sent me home in a loaner car. I easily made it to work and was able to pick the car up when the school day ended.The service and people were awesome. I plan to go back there for any other car issues in the future. I had some good experience on their service until so far. I would like to share this terrible experience here.First, thanks the lady in the service department, who helped me in my first several visits (I am sorry I dont know her name. I only remembered she has nice arm tattoos) She is friendly and professional, and got everything updated.Recently, based on some good experience, I visited here again because the hail on Apr 8th makes a crack on the front windshield and dents on the surface. Once I got the estimate from the insurance (which is May 12th Wed), I contacted the guy who gave me his business card,via email, asking for ordering a new windshield for me. Then, I dropped off my car on the next Monday, trying to get it fix asap. They told me it will take 3-4 days. However, I never got any update until I decided to call back (May 26 Wed). The service told me they have to contact insurance to get the re-estimate. I understand the process but I NEVER BEEN INFORMED. On the same phone call, they told me to fix the car by Saturday (May 29th) but apparently failed again. I called it back on the next Tuesday (Jun 1st)–They told me that needs 4 more days; and Friday (Jun 4th) again– AND THEY TOLD ME THE WINDSHIELD IS THE ONLY PART HAVEN’T DONE YET. Not to mention that they also forgot I need oil change as well (I mentioned that when I dropped off my car).Jun 7th, The glass arrived and they promised will get it done by the same day. Guess what, I still don’t have my car back because ridiculously the service can’t find the corresponding mechanics. It is ridiculous that they never listen to their customer, as well as their terrible communication system. They try to give me some promise but never get it done on time, which also destroy my trust on them. Furthermore, I tried to contact via email first but most of time I got ignored. Usually with no reply, or a reply without greeting and sign and with EVERY LETTERS CAPITALIZED. Busyness is understandable but it can’t not be the reason ignoring the emails. To me, It is very very disrespectful to the customers who trust their service and what they promised.I finally got my car back after three weeks. When I picked up my car, even though the manager tried to tell me that mainly because they are waiting for pieces to come, I still think it is not sufficient to explain why is takes three weeks without noticing in advance and intentionally informing customers if process is delated. I feel I was deceived and my time is wasted no matter how well the car was handled.I will never come back. And so does my friends who know this ridiculous story.

Starting this off with letting you know the sales team here is awesome and extremely informative, service on the other hand did me wrong in my opinion.Took my car in a few months back to get a speaker replaced under warranty, they replaced the speaker and let me know the speakers in the seats of my MX5 may also need to be replaced as they were producing static as well. I should clarify this static can be clearly heard with most music at higher volumes. Well I finally got the chance and took the car in only to be told there is no issue anymore and the tech couldnt hear it. On top of that, my previous dealer is sending me a new lug nut key (for an OEM lock) but this so far is the only dealership Ive worked with that doesnt have a master key set and could not remove my tires for a rotation.

I absolutely loved my interaction with Douglass Mazda! I recently had surgery and took the time to look out of town for a new vehicle. Angie Schrick was unbelievably helpful and very available and kind throughout the entire buying process. I felt like I got a fair price on the vehicle and the delivery process was quick and easy and my driver was helpful in showing me the vehicle when it arrived. I loved that the add-ons were exactly that, add-ons. You have the option to mix and match based on your needs instead of having them added automatically. I think their slogan Home of the Nice Guys is right on point! I also recently found out of another person that got their car from their dealership and they also had great things to say. The maintenance and repairs department here is extremely exceptional! Dylan and Kyle have repeatedly gone way above and beyond for my family and I since we moved here almost 4 years ago. We have gone on for a variety of multiple services and have always gotten top notch work. We bought our most recent SUV from them and the sales associate also bent over backwards to get us the deal we needed. The ladies in charge of the loaner vehicles have also been outstanding every time weve had to leave our vehicle there and gotten us into a loaner every time. They are always very, very sweet and make sure to take the time to meet all of our needs. Now that theyve renovated one of the buildings, they need to give those wonderful ladies a much better office than the closet/dungeon theyre currently in. The new sales floor looks and feels excellent.

Douglas Mazda helped me buy a new car at a great price. I always felt respected throughout the entire process, which contributed to my overall confidence while negotiating the terms of the sale. Towards the end of our negotiations, a team of Angie Schrick, Joesph Pulliam and Travis rolled out the red carpet treatment and set me up with an even better trimmed vehicle than the one we were originally negotiating on - I truly felt like royalty. Additionally, all taxes and additional fees on the vehicle were shown upfront. I define integrity as doing what you said you would, and they definitely knocked that ball out of the park. Also, for any single women out there looking to buy a vehicle, you can trust the employees here will not treat you differently than any only other configuration of customer(s). We took my friends car for a detailed inspection, service people are very helpful and try their best. However, you need to drop and wait a little long for detailed inspection, because it is a little busy. I am not confident with the brand itself, they have the best vehicle designs with a reasonable price. Volkswagen and bmw are also part of the building/company.

I went to get my car taken care of here once and never again. I asked for three things: 1) tires rotated, 2) oil changed, 3) state inspection. I told the guy and he waves me off saying, yeah, yeah, yeah. I had just gotten off of a 12 hour night shift at the hospital and was exhausted. It took 2 hours before this was done and they charged me around $60. As Im driving home, however, I notice that the inspection sticker was not updated, so I drive back and ask about it. The guy says you didnt say anything about an inspection... but you should also get your tires rotated, by the way. What the HECK did they do??!?! I was infuriated. They charged me another $60, it was another 2 hours, and I never found out what they did to my car the first time around. Do not recommend.

Edit: In response to the owners comment below, no, this is not a fake review. I am a real person who had a real terrible experience with Brazos Valley Mazda, and I am sincerely grateful I will never have to deal with them again. I think their response shows more about the people who run this place than my review ever could. Beware.Original Review: Save yourself a lot of time, stress, and money. Avoid Brazos Valley Mazdas service department and take your car to CarDoc instead. Something must have changed in the last year, because this place used to be alright for service. Weve used them several times in the last few years, and our old service advisor, Umberto, was always great to deal with. I wont name the person we dealt with this most recent time because I dont want to be discourteous, but I will provide some details so you know what to expect from this service department now.1. Car was dropped off on a Friday evening for a coolant leak with the promise of a diagnosis Saturday morning. I didnt hear back from anybody until I got tired of waiting and called to follow up on TUESDAY. When I called, the advisor had completely forgotten who I was, and which car was mine, AND what I brought it in for, even though she was the same person who checked my car in on Friday night.2. When I finally got an estimate back, not only was the number extremely high, but the advisor could not clearly describe to me what the actual problem was. The estimate included a litany of recommended maintenance procedures mixed in with the actual solution to the coolant leak, and they were unable to tell me what was what. I asked why they were recommending certain things to be done, and they couldnt tell me. When I asked for a written estimate, they told me they dont normally do that(what??). When they eventually got me a written estimate, it didnt even include everything they said it did.3. A whole week had gone by with me trying to get clear information, and the whole process had made me extremely uncomfortable. I had zero confidence that I would even know what had been done to my car when I got it back if I gave them the go ahead to work on it. I went and got my car, and was charged $172 for a diagnosis (which I expected) even though they never clearly told me what the problem was.4. And finally, thank God for CarDoc. This whole mess was worth it just so I could find them. They are fair, honest, trustworthy people, and Im about to head to their page to leave a rave review. Save yourself some heartache: skip Mazda service and go straight to CarDoc.

Service department at this dealership is a joke. When you have any kind of issues with your vehicle they have no interest in working on your car or any idea how to figure out what is going on with it. They are awsome at selling you a car but dont want to hear from you when theres any problem. When they do look at your car, if the computer wont tell them whats wrong or how to fix it there done & your out of luck. My car simply has a gas mileage problem & they have no idea how to correct it all they will tell me is its performing like its supposed to & 14 mpg is normal for a car with 150k miles. What a bunch of garbage & what a shame... never doing business with this place again.

I just bought a Mazda CX5 from Garlyn Shelton and absolutely love the car and greatly appreciated the service. I ended up working with about 3 customer clients (Tim initially, then Cheyenne and Ron). All of them were extremely helpful and informative throughout the process. Tim and Ron were also both very friendly and easy to talk with while Cheyenne was able to arrange a 24 hr test drive on the car that I wanted. I ended up spending a significant amount of time at the dealership on a rainy Saturday trying working out my decision and price, and all staff were very patient and willing to help. I have so enjoyed my new car experience, and I can definitely say I would recommend these guys to friends in the car buying market!

They really think, that if you dont fall in love with the vehicle dont do your credit app.We spend over 2 week looking for the vehicle that fill our expectations, and when we went there, it was the first visit and we got out with out vehicle.

I met with Teresa and Luke, and my experience was phenomenal. I went in to look at a Jeep Wrangler and unfortunately, the internet said that it was automatic transmission when it was really manual. But to my luck, Luke and Teresa helped me learn how to drive manual in 10 minutes. A sales team that is willing to help out at all cost deserves high praise. I am in the works of obtaining that Jeep; keeping my fingers crossed.

The manager here was very aggressive and made me very uncomfortable despite the actual salesman I had been working with being perfectly fine. I visited all the dealerships in town and would not recommend this one, they were the only one that felt really sleezy. I had every intention of coming back later in the week to purchase the car I was looking at but that interaction with the manager was unfortunately an immediate deal breaker.

So far, so bad. I have dealt with most auto service departments in B/CS, and this one, so far ranks near the bottom. I have had the same issues as some of the other posters: no communication; lack of progress; terrible phone experience (this should be the easiest problem to fix! I dont understand this one); appearance of a shortage of technicians; and the feeling that I was a bother instead of a paying customer.Many of the other dealerships in town treat you like a valued customer (some, even treat you like a king). I am concerned that my car wont get fixed satisfactorily, much less even looked at.
