Very Satisfied with the overall experience. This was the first time Ive been there. The employee at the register Junior, greeted everyone with a smile . Very welcoming ! I was intrigued by his customer service skills. He took good care of each and every customer that walked through the door. There was at least 5 of us customers there and he multitasked and provided great service ! Impressive its hard to find great working employees these days ! Totally recommend this place! I got a very good price on a battery for my car they install It for free. Unless you have some sort of oddball car that requires a mechanic to put in the battery they will do it for free.

I took my car to get my tire fixed a few months ago and when I went to pick it up not only did I find out that the passenger side window wouldnt roll up but the manager said that they wouldnt fix it because they didnt break it, so there saying that I broke it and there not fixing it? For 1, I went there for my tire, they shouldnt have touched my windows, and 2 it worked fine when I brought it to them and it was in there care when it stopped working so there for they should have to fix it. When I bring my car to get fixed I expect it to be fixed and everything else should be the same as when I left it there. Then on top of all that the manager got in my face and tried to instigate a fight because he knew I was already heated. He was the most unprofessional manager Ive ever seen and he makes this place a joke. This rating only got 1 star because I dont know how to give them negative stars.

Very professional service here. My tire was flat and they opted to fix the tire instead of pressuring me into buying a new one. The repair was free because the service manager noticed that I had purchased my tires from another Pep Boys location years ago.I also needed an oil change and a battery swap but my car was still ready within a few hours.

I was so disappointed in my experience with Pep Boys. I recently went in for a car inspection and the employee who performed our inspection had no mask on, no gloves and had dirty hands. He went inside my car without a mask. The spike of COVID-19 is HIGH in Brownsville btw. He gave us back our inspection paper crumbled up and full of grease. DISGUSTING! I did not feel safe nor clean at this store. There was ONE employee wearing a mask. This was our first and LAST time doing business with Pep Boys Brownsville Boca Chica.

Horrible! It took them over 2 hours to perform an oil change. When I asked the first time they had completely forgotten about my work truck. When I asked the second time (2 hours later) they said they didn’t have a filter that they needed. No communication whatsoever, unprofessional.

Good place to go if you want a gaurantee with the job. You will pay for it to be done that way though. A lot of times that will mean they have to replace things that may eventually fail instead of just fixing the current concern or they have to replace instead of just fixing.

HORRIBLE!!! It took the mechanics 3 hours to put on a simple bolt on cat back exhaust system. The service manager was also rude and made it seem like we were wasting his time. SMH never coming back to this place again.

Do not take your vehicles to this place, I only took my mini van for a check up. And these guys said my battery was bad, when I bought this battery 2 months ago they warned me that it was bad and that it was probably not going to work and when I told them this battery was new they acted unprofessional and started saying probably there equipment was bad. One day later my battery started failing. I don’t know what they did but they messed up my battery in some way. You have to fix this because it’s a new battery and I don’t know what your mechanics did just to get commission out of it. 0% integrity from this place, do not believe what they say it’s a lie and you are proned to them messing with your vehicle. Please share this with all your friends I’m tired of people like them lying to there customers and I speak in general because even the manager is ok with there mechanics doing this so what can you expect from the workers. DON’T believe them they will make your vehicle worse than what it is.

Tune up seems to have been completed properly, but I wasted so much time! Went in at 4:30, and at six they gave an update saying that it would be another 1.5 to 2 hours. Then once home they said it would be ready the next day at 10:30 or 11. They knew it was going to be overnight but let me sit around waiting for no reason. The next day I arrived at noon (an hour after they said it would be done) and they said another half hour and I wasnt out until after 1.Staff are friendly enough, and I know they are busy and deal with a lot of angry customers. But they need to communicate better with customers, who are taking off work and dropping hundreds of dollars.

Service and attention is great, but you do need to be there really early to get anything done to your vehicle. Todays average time was 2 to 3 hr. wait before your vehicles turn.

Had a 1 oclock appointment for an oil change, and discount but didnt get attended till after an hour later. Also had to argue with personal to get my discount. Could have had a better experience.

My husband went in to pick up some spark plugs that he ordered online and was told twice, once at 2 and the other at 4 pm that it was ready for pickup. As soon as he got to the store he went to the front and told the rep he was there to pick up some spark plugs. He immediately told my husband they didnt have them and that they looked all around the store and were not in stock. He assumed they were not there and did not even bother asking for the order number he was given online or at least the part number, how can you locate an item without the order number either way? He had no motivation to help my husband and this is unacceptable service and behavior from a worker.

Worst customer service experience ever. First I stood there for 20 minutes before someone acknowledged my presences. Then i was passed off from service manager, to Arturo, to Sosa, then back to service manager, and then finally Arturo. All wanted was 1 tire and they act like it is the hardest thing ever. Then they get my car on a jack and then leave it and work on another car for a customer that is not waiting. So upset and irritated. Thank goodness I dont live here because I certainly would not be returning

This place was bad and I have never even been there Im very successful but I also have tattoos I like body art but these little people the youngsters were all like oh he thinks hes cool he thinks hes bad ass or something I always tell people when they act stupid before knowing me no u think that I think Im cool the truth is folks Im humble very humble I own my businesses but this was not cool only the guy who took in my jeep was awesome I took it in it was right there so I went in just for an oil change I was the only one in the lobby then more people came and more then one by one they got their cars but me they just sat looking at me like what u think ur cool what was supposed to b a quick 15 min oil change turned into 1hr and half I even had an appointment finally I go and the man who helped me was like ur still here he was like wheres ur truck I was like idk what going on everybody was like I dont know nobody wanted to help then they just parked it in the parking lot after it was done left there just waiting and everybody had I was the only one in waiting area when the man asked wheres the jeep everybody was like i dont know when he checked the time he even told them why has it been just sitting there they even started to lie oh yeah they just brought it they said after an hour and a half I no i have tattoos but so do cops and doctors a-holes I will never go there ever again thanx to the man that helped me the one the greeted me and took in my truck other than that I wish u the best

Prices are a bit high on some of the items but they have a great selection.

1. Labor prices are ridiculously expensive, 2. They do not even let you know that, for example, changing car alternator and giving them old alternator will give you cash back (COR) while in Autozone they do, it is a lot better to buy the parts from Autozone or similar places (parts will be somewhat cheaper), and most importantly just take it to some repair shop like Auto Repairs and they will change and repair it much cheaper. I changed here also my car tires and the change took like 4 hours or so. Do not recommend, or PB just make it more affordable and easy going... They will just fix whatever you have and give you long and scary list of what else you should do on your car to be safe-like 300-400 repair, and if you do not d it then... fine, your car still runs smoothly :)
