Everything from a large group of puzzles, books, games. Its insane on what they have and actually if you sign up for their email list they have emotions that run from time to time. They had a Godzilla vs. Kong promotion the other weekend it was fantastic oh, my son got a t-shirt and we picked up a few puzzles level over there.

Needed a follow up to Ticket to Ride as we played it almost every day since the Pandemic started. If you are not a hardcore game player it can be overwhelming to pick a game. And at $50 a pop its not cheap to take a shot in the dark. The crew at Eureka were super helpful and were happy to talk through any game I asked about. At the end of the day I grabbed 2 new games including the first game they recommended - Caravan. Now time to open it up!

Very nice store but disorganized. Went to pick up internet order. Not what we expected. Can we exchange for something else? Sure said kind owner. Then had to wait 30 minutes. No exageration. 30 minutes for store employee to go in the basement, put white chess pieces in one bag, black pieces in another bag and then the 2 bags in one box and chess board in another box. Sorry it took so long ssid employee who looked anything but apologetic.

Small shop that does a great job utilizing the space they have. Impressive section of board games clearly chosen by gamer staff. The puzzles and riddles are not my reason for stopping, but I found I spent just as much time browsing and testing puzzles as I did game shopping. Staff were friendly but chill. Such a wonderful shop for anyone who enjoys board games, puzzles, or just general fun! It has quite the selection for a relatively small place, just jam packed with quality products that have been obviously well curated, while still being organized. The staff here are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience that much better. And if youre looking for a gift and would like to shop local, check it out! We have always had great recommendations if were lost. And I am personally always tempted to buy ALL the puzzles.

Staff was well knowledgeable of their products. Bit tight squeezed aisles and a lot of people made it hard to see items, but it is the Christmas season. Also on a special note there was plenty of helping staff available. Just a bit pricy again probably because of the Christmas season.

Great gift ideas for that hard-to-shop-for person! A better option than taking a chance with an online purchase, you can experiment with many items in-store. Staff are attentive and courteous. Highest-quality jigsaw puzzles (notably the artwork & craftsmanship of the pieces) and games (e.g. chess) are vastly superior to what you might find in some discount or toy store. Metered parking on-street & street-side lots, yet the easiest access to the store is via green line C train. If shopping for someone who enjoys intellectually curious activities that do not require an electronic device, you will find something for them here.
Very knowledgeable staff. I went in looking for a new game similar to Catan, and the employee asked me questions about what parts of it I liked, eventually giving me several options to choose from, all of which were just what I was looking for. Definitely give it a drop in!
There’s TONS of interesting stuff to browse and buy here - stuff you didn’t even know existed - and friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you find exactly what you’re looking for... even if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Or if you know what you’re looking for, and they don’t have that - you’ll still find something else right up your alley.Also, as I browsed and price-checked, I found that most of their prices were comparable to Amazon’s... which is not very common for small stores, and absolutely appreciated!

Eureka puzzles is an outstanding place - run by enthusiastic, friendly and well-informed staff. They run a camp during vacations, which has been a lot of fun for our kids. A tiny store but with good selection. My husband was on the hunt for some board games and this was the only place in town that had more than one of the ones he wanted.Also selection of limited editions and a good sized kid section in back. Lots of puzzles, too.When we were there staff was mostly chatting amongst themselves and no one approached us, but I did see them help a couple other people.

An excellent game and puzzle store. It always has a good board game selection and keeps up with new releases. Its a small store so really popular games sometimes sell out. Its more geared towards general interest and family friendly gaming than Pandemonium. Staff are always helpful and can give recommendations. Lots of puzzles and clever objects. Not a source for RPGs or wargaming.

Eureka! has an excellent selection of puzzles, board games, crafts, and toys (be sure to check out the back room if looking for a puzzle, it isnt obvious unless you know it is there).A previous five-star version of this review said that the staff was friendly but somewhat dingbatty. I have unfortunately downgraded this review to three stars after the experience related below.The staff are friendly but dimwitted. When I recently tried to purchase a board game (Hive Carbon, nothing too crazy), they completely fumbled the sale. First, I placed a phone call asking if they had it in stock. The saleswoman on the other end of the line told me that they did not have the game I wanted but could order it, and I could pick it up by the end of the week. Great! The cost was $7 more than Amazon and would take longer to get to me, but the trade off in supporting a local business is more than worth it to me. When I went in on the day that I was told I could pick up the game, however, I was told that the order had not been placed after all. With many apologies, they then placed the order for me and told me to come in another week to pick it up. Several days later, I got a voicemail from another employee saying that he saw that I was interested in ordering a game, and asking if I could come back in to place a deposit on that order. Somewhat pissed off at this point, I called back and related my efforts to get this game over the past two weeks. I told them that I still preferred to purchase the game from Eureka! if they would order it into stock (as I had been told they would do for me twice previously), but that at this point, I had no zero confidence in their organizational abilities, and was therefore unwilling to trust them with a deposit. The salesmans reply was that he wouldnt order the game without a deposit. Despite all my best efforts to shop local, Eureka! has left me no choice but to get this game from Amazon. Sad.
