Great store, Great staff . Ron took my plywood out to my car and loaded it for me. First time in store and I was really impressed.

This was probably the best experience Ive ever had there. Not that the others before werent good, but I usually just run in for something I need. This time, I was actually shopping, and comparing. Kevin was friendly, personable and very helpful. If more places had customer service like that, the world would be a much better place.

Overpriced. Clerks were anything but courteous. Not a bad woodworking store if you have a thick skin and a fat wallet.

First visit to Rockler Woodworking. I have heard about them however I kinda thought they wouldnt have any time for me. I needed something for my router and they had it in stock so I went.What a surprise! I looked around for a little bit and found what I was looking for. When checking out the gentleman at the counter was happy to help with my question and added a little more info that served me well in regards to the installation. Thank you Kevin for your help. I will be going there a lot more.

EDIT: I returned to this location recently and every employee was wearing their mask. Every face was new upon return; not sure if the store changed their staff out, but everyone was super helpful without being condescending! I feel a lot better about my safety and others, and will feel a lot more at ease when coming back.The employees here are often very helpful! However, when I was here the other day, I was disappointed to see one employee with his mask resting on his chin while he was helping a customer. I understand wearing a mask for a whole work day is difficult, especially as someone who does wear one all day, but mask breaks are safer when not taken around customers, especially with COVID on the rise.

Great experience learning to work with wood! Pete ‘the demo guy’ was so patient teaching us how to create wooden handles for our kitchen gadgets! If learning is fun, I highly recommend!

I have experienced the best customer service at Rockler Woodworking. Although I’m sure my projects have been quite minor compared to most of their customers, I was given the time and service and help I needed to be able to go home and complete my projects. Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge and ideas...I highly recommend Rockler to anyone who loves to be creative!

Called to see if they had the flavor from the day before left over, if they do, its HALF OFF, well they had one left, I asked if they could hold it, no but if I paid for it over the phone that would be fine, ok, WELL THE OWNER SAID I HAD TO PAY FULL PRICE because it was over the phone.....what? SO I went IN and bought it (they hardly ever have this flavor) and gave the owner a few choice words!!

Rockler has changed a lot over the years. I bought my first real table saw here years ago. Now they seem a little less passionate about woodworking, at least in tool selection and overall quality. It is still a great place but some of the staff seem a little less knowledgeable and they dont carry all the top stuff. Still a good place to shop and they tend to be lower prices than the other local place (where Wood is a Craft).

Not my favorite place to go for woodworking supplies. Itll do in a pinch but the selection of useful tools is pretty low. Rockler (as a company) tries to invent and market and sell all kinds of jigs and other products, and they frankly are not very useful. It would be fine if they balanced that with quality chisels, hand saws, planes, etc. but they dont.Also, their wood is EXTREMELY expensive.

This store is always stocked with useful woodworking products and I always get good advice on tool selection. There are a lot of choices in power tools and the staff is able to share a lot of experience from dealing with a lot customers and what worked for thier individual needs. Sometimes they guys might seam like grumpy old men but Ive always got top notch service.

I love this place. I live in Milwaukee, WI now, but whenever Im in the neighborhood and need something hardware-store-ques, I stop by here. The staff is so helpful and willing to talk with you at length if need be about your project or the item youre looking for, and theyre pretty knowledgeable about a variety of household products. They never seem rushed or impatient. Theyve even been willing to take a small return item when I forgot to bring the receipt with me. (I told them they didnt have to, but they decided to anyway). You guys rock.

I came on the 2nd day of a sale and they didnt have the advertised product i needed. Annoying, but fine.Said they would order it for me and call me in 2 days when it came in.5 days later, no call. Finally i called them and was told it came in. I drove the 30 minutes and when I arrived it switched to, mo we dont have it.No apology. No discount or any attempt to make it right.I wanted to support a local business but after this will just shop online

Rockler is having a garage sale and that naturally was a reason for visiting. I was also in need of a respirator for the woodworking shop that I have. The gvs elipse p100 is very reasonably priced and comes with an extra pair of filters. I have gotten a few good bargains here and will definitely visit them if they are having a sale. As a small timer I cannot afford their products which tend to be on the expensive side but the quality is unmatched and unmistakable.

Everything was great except for the grumpy and totally unhelpful staff. Ive never felt so disrespected. How is someone supposed to get better at woodworking when theyre met with such disdain for the uninitiated. Sorry Im not part of your club. Youve lost a customer forever.

Even though they didnt have something I was looking for they were very helpfull with offeri g a suggestion as to an alternet solution to what might work. They people who work there are very helpfull especially to new woodworkers.

Super helpful staff and you absolutely cant beat the woodworking tool selection, the quality of Rockler vs any other brick and mortar store is far and above the best. I have friends and family members that travel for hours to come here.

What is with the staff here? So unhelpful every time I come in or call. Woodcraft blows them out of the water.

This place is hit or miss. Depending on the day, you may walk out feeling stupid, or have your questions answered. 1 clerk actually told me that I should hire a company to build my project...Are you kidding!!! I have had this experience more than once at this location. I usually go to Woodcraft, unless I have no choice.
