I loved my experience here, everyone was so nice and very quick to respond to any questions I had. They were also super quick with my alterations for my bridesmaid dress and it turned out amazing. I got it hemmed, cups added and the sides of the dress taken in. Will 100% refer any business over to them and will be using them again in the future

Incredible service and extremely friendly! I picked up my dress and when I got home decided I needed a slight adjustment to the strap lengths and I got a response within minutes and an appointment the same week to adjust them. And later again after my second appointment I decided I needed the straps back to the original alteration length (crazy I know), and they were able to get me back in the same day and adjust them. So grateful for their responsiveness and willingness to help.

I just got my wedding dress back this past week. I dont know much about alterations, so I was a little surprised about the price. However, I do know that parts of my alterations were going to be tedious and I would gladly pay again for the work they did. My dress fits beautifully! Having them nearby was just a bonus. They were both very kind and professional. I would definitely recommend.

This place is amazing! I had several different garments done here and every time, they are incredibly friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable and the seamstress is highly skilled. Its rare to find such great customer service that bends over backward for clients. Each time Ive been here (8 times) my garment has turned out perfect, exactly like I have asked. Ive told my friends and family about this place and they all have had positive experiences as well. Im a customer for life.

The staff is very nice and professional. They are very accommodating and will schedule your appointments to meet your needs. HOWEVER, my daughters dress was is need of several alterations. The hem was done perfectly but the bodice was taken in way too tight. She is 52 and only weighs 105 lbs. and did not gain any weight before the final fitting. The fabric bulged out around the bust as a result of taking it in (which she attempted to fix and offered to do it the same day) but one side was still bulging when we picked it up. I understand the dress needed several alterations but for what it cost (which was extremely expensive-costing way more than I paid the the dress alone) I was hoping the dress would be pressed/steamed when finished but it was not. We live 35 minutes away and I didnt mind the drive but because of the expensive rates and problems we encountered, I think I will look for a different tailor in the future.

Such a great experience working with Influence Apparel! Finding the right seamstress for your wedding dress is so incredibly nerve wracking, but they were certainly the right choice! My dress looks phenomenal. I would definitely go back and highly recommend to others who are looking for someone with years of experience and expertise!

This place is the BEST!!! The customer service is absolutely outstanding! Ive never seen a place bend over backwards like they do. Upon my first call with them they went over what I can expect, to bring my shoes etc...when I arrived they immediately offered me a beverage, had snacks in the lobby and asked if I needed to use the restroom at all. My babysitter cancelled on me at the last moment and I needed to bring my 3 year old daughter with me to the appointment. Not only were they accepting of her but welcomed her. They offered her some coloring books, stickers and markers. They were very informative throughout the whole process wanting to make sure everything was perfect! I cant say enough good things about this place. The prices were reasonable and the quality of work was amazing. I felt comfortable through the whole process and could tell I was in good hands. Ive recommended this place to my friends, family and co-workers. Ill be coming back!!

I had an excellent experience at Influence Apparel. The receptionist and seamstress were incredibly polite, professional and very welcoming. She did a beautiful job on my wedding dress, and the prices were incredibly affordable, even after needing to do some extra work with my dress. I would highly recommend Influence Apparel, and will be going back again soon to have them help me create some lingerie out of the scraps of my dress. An all-around awesome experience with these gals.Update: They did tell me that it would only cost $20 to hem my husbands trousers for the wedding, and then charged him $47, so that was a little disappointing, but all around still a good experience.

I was referred here by a friend. Staff and seamstress are very kind and personable. I’m disappointed with my experience however. My mother of the groom dress needed minimal alterations. I feel the cost is extremely high, the same price I paid for the dress. I’ve done some homework into the average cost for the alterations done on my dress and the price i was charged here is almost triple the price. The alterations were not done correctly and so I needed to leave the dress to be corrected. I appreciate them fixing my dress. I will look elsewhere in the future.

This place is the BEST alterations place I have used! I brought my daughter in for alterations as well as myself and each staff member was so friendly, personable and professional. They really take the time to listen to your needs and make sure you are fully happy. They also offered myself and my daughter complimentary beverages upon our arrival and made both of us feel so comfortable! When we came in to our fitting we originally asked for a certain length for our dresses to be hemmed but later on the bride informed us she wanted a different length. The staff at Influence Apparel graciously accommodated our new request and didnt even charge us for the extra work after it was different than what I had originally asked them to do. For the amount of work that had to be done on the dresses we also felt like it was very reasonable. They are very skilled at what they do and you can tell how passionate they are about making garments fit perfect. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I experienced nothing but GREAT experience. This company goes out of their way to bend over backwards for clients and they do so with a smile on their face. Its so rare to find customer service like that now a days. Not only will we be back but we are recommending this place to all of our friends and family! I refuse to use any alterations company except this one! I promise you are not going to find a more professional, reasonable and skilled place as this one! Couldnt be happier I found them! Worth every penny! I came in with a wedding dress I loved but was way too big. Scary right? Not for them. The dress was perfect and I fell more in love after they fixed it up. Very professional place... highly recommend to anyone in need of alterations.

I cannot emphasize enough, this is not professional work. They ruined a new expensive swimsuit and carelessy handled and pulled seams on my silk dress from sisters wedding- it was terrible. Scheduling was unprofessional and scraps from my dress were lying around as if done the night before. Like others have said, she promotes a discount upon an encouraging review.

While some other companies would require 3+ months for alterations, the influence apparel is able to complete my alterations in less than 2 months. The seamstress is very knowledgeable and helpful. They had me come in for a few different fittings during my alterations, which shows that they wanna make sure it fits perfectly, while still being finished on time, by the time you take your dress home. Karie and team provided great customer service. I brought 2 bridesmaid dresses in that needed alterations, and they were done within a week of me bringing them in. I also brought my wedding dress in, which needed quite a few intricate alterations done, by hand. I was called within a week and a half of bringing my dress in, saying it was ready for me to try on and make sure all of the alterations were perfect! I didnt expect such a quick turn-around with my wedding dress, but my expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend Influence Apparel!

I couldnt be more happy with the ladies at influence apparel! They showed me a bunch of different styles for bustles, and they were very quick! They did quality work on the alterations, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needed alterations on their bridal dress.

The fitting was efficient and on time. The staff is very nice to work with. My dress needed a hem as well as shortening of the hem lining. I came in 23 days (they are open 7 days) in advance. They called me on Day 19 to schedule pickup. If you are considering this shop, give them as many days as you can. Also, be aware that you are charged for the time it takes them to pin the hem. This makes sense, especially for a bridal gown, multi-layered gown or other complicated tailoring. Since this is my first time using a custom tailor/seamstress (Ive had pants hemmed at the dry cleaners), it was unexpected. I picked up my dress today and the work-woman-ship was very good. Im looking forward to wearing it!

I enjoyed my first experience with Influence Apparel. There customer service is refreshing! I had to bring my young daughter to my first appointment and not only were they welcoming of her but they gave her crayons and a coloring book to entertain herself. I had a pair of lined pants hemmed which took about a month, however I did tell them it wasnt a rush.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I had an idea for a dress that I wanted made. I showed them a picture and they brought my vision to life exactly how I envisioned it. The whole process was fun and simple. They have great turn around times too. I had a custom made dress from scratch done in about 2-3 weeks. The dress turned out great and I am very happy with it. I cant wait to go back for the next item I want made!!!

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience working with Influence Apparel which was very disappointing after reading such great reviews and recommendations. I can say they were great at booking an appointment right away and had availability but that was about it. The prices I paid for two dresses was absolutely outrageous and costly. I’ve never paid that much for alterations on a bridesmaid dress... so that was problem #1. Problem #2 I was given a day when I went for my first fitting, that my dress was guaranteed and ready for pick up. 3 days prior to that day of pick up, I reached out to Influence Apparel to make sure I would be able to pick up my dress on time. I was informed that it would be ready and someone would contact me that day... No one did. Finally I reached out at the end of the business day to find out if I could pick up my dress, and it was stated “I think it’s ready, and let’s book an appointment for the next day. I informed them that I was worried as if tweaks needed to be done we were running out of time... I was told not to worry, and everything would be prefect. Well that leads to problem #3. We went to pick the dresses up, tried them on, and what do you know... they needed more length taken off even though I gave specific measurements for my daughters dress, I am not sure how anyone could have gotten that wrong. And we were measured so....we had to make an appt for the following day. So problem #4 I had to go back for another fitting! Which then leads to problem #5. I was never offered any discount on them not having it done on time, never any discount for not having it done right!!!! Never even an apology for any of the inconvenience for an expensive task.... needless to say after reading raving reviews, I was definitely not impressed.

Had a super RUSH request due to a last minute formal event that I was to attend. Called Influence Apparel after searching alterations in my area and got Carla on the line who allowed me to come in immediately that day. She altered the hem, sleeves and sides of my dress and got it back to me the very next morning! AN ABSOLUTE LIFESAVER and beautifully done - couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend them!!!Christina V

My dress turned out beautifully! Originally, I was unable to lift my arms above my shoulders. When the dress had been tailored I was able to move about freely! They are experts at what they do and have very reasonable and competitive rates. The custom garment was a dress I designed and it turned out better than I imagined!! I called at 10 in the morning for a jumpsuit I needed some work on, but I needed it done same day. They were able to explain their options with ease and made me without a doubt choose them. If I ever need alterations again I will give them a call.

I had my first alteration appt. with Carrie this morning and right off the bat I can say Im so excited to see the final result. Carrie was very pleasant and honest with her suggestions. She was willing to work with what I felt comfortable with both financially & vision for the dress. I will update my review once I get my dress but from this initial fitting I genuinely believe it will be beautiful!They do give a full disclaimer at the end that final payment is non refundable as they cannot refund the time put into the alterations (absolutely understandable). This is why its so important to try on the dress prior to leaving final fitting so any changes can be made if needed!

I recently had a custom suit made for me at Influence Apparel as well as some alterations done on a few dress shirts I own. Everything turned out great. I have never found any other suit that even came close to how great the suit felt and looked on my body. The service was outstanding too! The owner, Karie, was courteous and professional. She really takes the time to get to know her customers and you can tell she truly values and appreciates each and every one of her clients. I would give this place 10 stars, if I could! Ill be back soon.

I am re-writing my review after I learned a tad more about alterations and then when it came to putting my dress on for the wedding. First off, my friend who went to the same place for the same dress had the EXACT same alterations and I found out she was charged less than me. 2- they told me since my straps were beaded they would have to do a lot of sewing to shorten the straps to make them tighter. Turns out that they literally just moved the hooks on the dress up on the strap. No shortening of the straps or “sewing” involved in that. 3- all of the bridesmaids in the wedding went to other seamstresses and spent $30-70 to get the exact same things done. I spent $203, which was more than the dress... very nice staff. But I will not be going here again.

The staff members are friendly and very personable. They were flexible with a timeframe for my appointment. With an added fee (understandably so) they were completely open and comfortable hemming my complex two layer dress in literally less than one week, and I was much appreciative.

Let me say that I’m writing this review to try to save other people from having to go through what I did. I needed a hem and the straps shortened on a bridesmaids dress. She took her time pinning everything and making sure it was just right but when she went to go over the cost she came to $200!!!!! What!?!?! I immediately went to my car to called other places around town and got some more quotes and realized others were charging half that! So I went back in not even an hour later on the same night to get my dress back and she still charged me $35!!! All she did was pin it! I understand she took a half hour to pin it but I just think that should be part of the cost of doing business, she hadn’t started on any alterations or done anything permanent to my dress. Just want others to make sure you ask for a quote BEFORE you let her do any pinning to save the $35. My learnings for next time too!

Horrible Experience!!! Do not come here!!!I brought in my Ralph Lauren dress ($220) for hemming… Im 53 size 18 so I definitely needed a few inches off the long skirt.It was for a gala Milwaukee downtown in a week… The owner took the measurements wrong so when I came in for the fitting the dress was too short. First she proposed to add a line of fabric at the end of the skirt...She then tried to buy a new dress but it was not available at any Macys near by, so she proposed to change the skirt with new fabric.I agreed, however the measurements were taken wrong again, all along I was wearing he shoes I was going to wear that night.So the dress was delivered to me with a piece of fabric added to the bottom (since the new measurements were taken wrong again),a bad zipper that wouldn’t close at first, a hole at the end on the zipper in the skirt and a really really bad hem.I don’t think I can wear this dress… worst of all she wouldn’t g ive me a refund for what I spent on the dress.An evening ruined for me for the truly bad service at this company, is definitely not worth the risk!!!To the response from the owner, I cant believe you are lying like this?!?!? I did bring my shoes, to all 5 appointments they were all the same shoes, ALL THE TIME. I am shocked by the lack of professionalism.
