I booked an appointment with Bliss mostly to get a feel of what was out there for dresses and figure out what I like. I didnt think Id find much in my budget, but boy was I wrong! The styling consultant picked out amazing dresses, there were 3 that I fell in love with. We tried one back on that I hadnt totally loved and she threw ivory fabric under the skirt instead of the champagne and boom-I cried and knew it was the one. The price was just right, ordering was so easy, and the dress arrived about 6 months later as they had discussed! It was such a fun experience and I wish I could do it again (but I plan on staying married so I guess not). I felt like a princess and was so grateful that even with the pandemic (my appointment was in July) I was able to have 2 of my friends with me. Would highly recommend!!

I was excited to go to bliss bridal, but I walked out almost in tears of how rude the bridal attendant was. In the beginning it was going great! She even told me if I didn’t like any of the dresses she completely understands. Once she realized I didn’t like any of the dresses, her attitude completely changed. I told her the dress she pulled was in my top 5 and she talked down on me and said I shouldn’t even have a top 5. She tried to say the style I liked at a different store was not in or stylish and I shouldn’t keep looking. She went on to say they couldn’t get me in again until December and said I wouldn’t get my dress in time if I kept waiting. Even though my wedding is a year away. My mom and I were stunned of how rude she was to us and she left us with a such sour taste in our mouths. I do not recommend!

They helped me to find my dream dress and it was absolutely gorgeous. I am not good at immediate decision, but I had to act quickly because the designer just happened to be working on a dress in my size at that moment or I would not have been able to get it. The girl that I worked with came in on her off day, an hour before the store opened, and a day she was going on vacation to Florida in order to let me try the dress on again and ultimately decide to purchase it. Best decision ever ... I got so many compliments on the dress.

Sky at Bliss was incredible! She listened to what I liked and didn’t like from other bridal store experiences and she pulled the absolute perfect gown for me on the first try. Didn’t even have to try any other ones there to know it was the one for me! Dresses were all well made and pricing was reasonable ($1,200+) They even offered $100 off since it was my first visit there. Lead time to get my dress is 6 months which is about normal. The dressing suites at this location were what you think of when you go bridal dress shopping- so cute and private and enough room for a few friends and family! Overall I am completely satisfied with my experience and would recommend them to a friend.

Alex was an amazing bridal stylist. She helped me find my dream dress and was very respectful of my budget. She helped guide me through my indecisiveness and I couldn’t be happier with my gown!!

I did not end up getting my dress here but had a great shopping experience. The store is beautiful and they provide a private area for you and your guests which made the experience very comfortable and relaxing. Kendra was great and really listened to what I was looking for and did not make me feel pressured at all. Definitely recommend Bliss!

The ladies at Bliss Bridal were extremely helpful! Bliss had many different options and I found the one! Their store is beautiful and all the ladies working were professional and kind! They were quick with ordering and getting me my dress and when I picked it up they also gave me a list of recommendations for alterations and dry cleaning. Super helpful!

Unfortunately I did not get my dress here, they did not have what I was looking for. But the experience along was worth while. Sky, my stylist, was beyond phenomenal. She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for and even tried to help me find wild cards (I didnt have any specific dresses in mind) to see what I did and didnt like. Honestly, the best experience to look for wedding dresses.

I just had my first wedding dress appointment with Bliss. Their new location is so elegant. You and your guests have their own quiet space. It was nice to not feel like you were on top of another bride trying on her dresses! My consultant, was Sky and OMG was she so wonderful to work with. So positive and truly just wanted me to have the best experience. She was in contact with me 2 weeks before my appointment, calling and emailing me. Just to make sure she had the right dresses for me ready for when I walked in the door! And boy did she! My FIRST dress I put on is the dress I ended up going with.My only bummer was what brought me into this boutique was the fact that for a previous wedding I stood up in, we got our bridesmaids dresses here and we had a fun time (in old location). They no longer carry bridesmaid dresses, they are now are strictly bridal dresses.Also, give time to find the location, its new, so they dont have signs up! My family who was meeting me there was calling me because they were circling the parking lot and couldnt find it with all the different buildings!

We had an amazing experience with our consultant, Skye, at Bliss Bridal. Skye worked closely with us before and during the appointment to help my daughter narrow down what she loved so that she could easily find her dream dress—and she did! My daughter found her dream dress at Bliss after trying on many dresses in Chicagos western suburbs. The consultant was professional and helpful. She ultimately found THE dress after showing her a picture of a dress we all liked. Bliss has a nice selection of designers. It was a wonderful experience. My daughter could finally say, Yes to the dress!

After visiting two other shops, I finally said yes to the dress at Bliss Bridal. The store itself is spacious with loads of gowns to pick from. There are made-to-order dresses as well as a selection of off-the-rack. I worked with Sky, who was wonderful, super helpful, and never too pushy. As soon as I rattled off my wishes for my dress, she knew just the one to pull. It was the first one I tried on at Bliss—and it turned out to be The One. Im so grateful to Skys attitude and attention, as well as the layout of the shop. My space for trying on dresses felt very private, special, and could comfortably accommodate any brides entourage. To be honest, I thought I would find my dress at a hip downtown shop—but Bliss made me eat my words! So even if you fancy yourself a downtown girl, Id recommend giving Bliss a chance. Im so very glad I did!

Ill never forget my experience at Bliss. It was absolutely wonderful. They accommodated my group which was about 8 or 9 people plus 2 toddlers. Megan was so patient and understanding. She never batted an eye when she saw my two toddler nieces come through the door.Ill never be able to say enough nice things about Megan and everyone at Bliss. I had a great shopping experience at Bliss Bridal. My guests and I were greeted upon entry and treated with respect. I always fear the assumption of us not being able to afford something when going to a suburban establishment from past experiences. That was not the case here.I was asked my budget and was happy to find a dress below that. I was able to get on 5 or 6 dresses before finding the one! Well, the 2nd dress was the one! I felt relaxed and not pressured to get something I didnt want. I highly recommend Bliss Bridal!

Initial experience with my daughter was great, but dress took longer than initially indicated to get in, and was not steamed when we went to pick it up. The consultant told us a pick up date, but then dress was not ready stating we would need to come back another day if we wanted them to steam it, because it would take two or more hours and their good steamer wasn’t working. When spending a great deal of money on a dress I anticipate great service.

Kendra was my stylist for my bridal and bridesmaid appointment, she did an amazing job listening to everything I was looking for and I was able to find my dream dress with her help!During our bridesmaid appointment we made a major color change in the middle of the appointment and she was able to help guide us through that decision and keep me calm throughout the appointment and we were able to find all of my girls a dress including my mom!I would definitely recommend Bliss Bridal to any bride as they made my experience feel special and a breeze!

Dresses are gorgeous, staff was nice when I was there but communication is absolutely horrendous!I ordered my dress in October, was told it would be here in mid February. February came and went, no word, so I called and emailed (twice each) with no response. Finally I got an email saying the designer is behind and it should be here soon, I’m given another date in March.April comes, no word about my dress. I call again (two calls were made before anyone answered) and I’m told an appointment can be made because the dress will be here the last week of April. So two months after I was told it would be here, I got my dress. I understand that if the designer takes longer than expected it isn’t the fault of the shop, but at least tell me! And maybe answer the phone when I call.After all that, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered an accessory in April and was told it would be here mid June. Again, June came and went, I waited until mid July. I called, no answer. I emailed, no answer. My father called and was able to get in touch with a manager who said she’d find out what was going on and get back to him the next day. No one called him back. He called, no answer. So he filed a complaint with the card company that the accessory was paid for with and they had to contact the shop to either produce the accessory or a refund. Magically the next day my accessory is there.Talk to your customers! I will NEVER recommend this shop simply based on the lack of communication. I am normally a very laid back person and this has been an enormous headache. Planning a wedding is enough of a headache, thanks.

Ive absolutely loved my experiences at Bliss! Emily was my consultant for my bridal appointment and she was wonderful. She kept the appointment fun and made sure I was feeling throughout the appointment.We just went back for my bridesmaid appointment and was still incredibly impressed! We worked with Sky and she and the rest of the staff were so amazingly accommodating, especially considering how large of a group we had (6 bridesmaids, 4 mother figures, and myself). Sky practically ran herself to death doing everything she possibly could for us and I cannot be more thankful!Truthfully, myself nor my bridesmaids were really planning on ordering any bridesmaid dresses at least at the appointment because we wanted to look around a bit more, but there was honestly no need. There are beautiful and unique bridesmaid dresses at Bliss and everything my girls tried on was beautiful. Our bridesmaid dresses are ordered and thanks to the fabulous staff and stock of dresses at Bliss, I can cross one more thing off of my list. Thank you Emily and Sky for being so wonderful ❤ I would recommend you both and the salon, in general, to anyone- ten times over!!!

Today Bliss Bridal was our second stop to look for my best friends perfect wedding dress. I was impressed not only with the phenomenally great customer service provided by Emily, but their selection was great. Emily made it fun and listened to what the bride was looking for. The dress she originally fell in love with was a little over budget. Emily found her a two piece that was almost identical to what she wanted, she loved it even more AND it was actually under budget. The atmosphere was very fun and relaxing. We even found my maid of honor dress there! I would highly recommend Bliss Bridal to anyone I know. Thank you Emily for your help!

My advice: if youre looking for a designer gown for your wedding and can spend at least $1,500 on a dress, Bliss is a great place to shop. BUT- if youre a bride on a budget and are looking for something under $1,000, I would suggest shopping somewhere else.After reading all of the positive reviews of Bliss Bridal, I was very much looking forward to my appointment to try on wedding dresses. When my girls and I showed up at the store, we were one of the only groups there and pretty much had the place to ourselves which was helpful when it came time to browse through all of their gowns. The consultant was helpful in telling us about all of the different designers and the various price points that they offered, but for the rest of the appointment she was less than helpful. (something tells me it had to do with the fact that my price point was only around $800, when most of their dresses are in the $1,500+ range).While the consultant did help me into each dress, she didnt offer to fit me into any sort of formal bustier or shape-wear, and she never showed me any veil options or different belts/accessories for the dresses I tried on. Maybe she was just trying to respect my budget, but my consultant didnt even try to sell me into a dress that was near or outside my budget. Throughout the appointment I just kept getting this vibe that I wasnt all that welcome there, like I wasnt quite worth her time. We actually ended up leaving a bit early because all of us were feeling so awkward.Overall I just was disappointed with my experience at Bliss. Maybe I should have done more research beforehand about their average dress price to avoid this situation, but I personally feel like every bride, no matter their budget, deserves the same dress-shopping experience. I just dont feel like I received that.

I was looking for a bridal salon that carried a good selection of plus-size gowns, and Bliss Bridal did not disappoint. They had a wonderful selection, the space was comfortable and nice, and the staff immediately put me at ease. They listened to my ideas of what I liked and didnt and then pulled dresses. They must have done a great job, because I found MY dress and they didnt pressure me at all with the decision! It was definitely worth the trip, especially for a plus-size bride.

Sky provided an amazing experience for both my bridal gown fitting and my bridesmaids. She’s very good at putting your ideas and dreams together to make them reality! Icouldn’t thank her enough for her patience and professionalism during all of my apppointments. Sky is extremely knowledgeable and very good at what she does. I would highly recommend Bliss for your bridal, bridesmaids, and even mother of the bride needs.

I had a great experience here compared to other bridal salons. The service was excellent! My attendant, Sky, was very friendly and took the time to get to know me and my wedding vision. Most importantly she respected my low budget and helped me find clearance dresses and even pulled some white bridesmaids gowns so I had all the possible options. From the beginning of the prom dress process, I was disgruntled. You have to make an appointment, which my mom and I found quite annoying and tedious- but we gave it a shot. We went to Bliss expecting a large selection and a helpful staff. The store is beautiful, but that is where the beauty ends.They make you fill out a survey, trying to find out what you like. After that, they let me go into their prom room (only one time!) and pull three (or four) dresses,. I pulled three and my sales consultant forced a dress on me, one that I told her I didnt like. However, she took it as one of my choices. When I was in the dress, my sales consultant was no where to be found. Thankfully, my mom zipped me up, however, if she wasnt there I would be standing holding myself in the dress. After trying on the dresses I picked from the prom room, my consultant brought me dresses. I didnt like any of the dresses that she brought me, and I was getting irritated. Finally, I told her what dress I loved and she told me they couldnt order it in time for prom! Why would they let me fall in love with a dress I couldnt have??? I was heartbroken.All in all, not attentive staff, terrible selection, and an regretful experience.

It feels like the salespeople dont have your best interest in mind. I ended up buying a dress that I wasnt completely comfortable with, and the ensuing anxiety until it arrived felt like torture. To make things worse, my dress was delayed by 3 months, when I was initially told 6 months. Nine months seems like a long time to get a dress.I did not get alterations with Bliss Bridal, because I lived more than an hour out. Luckily, I had an AMAZING tailor and ended up loving what she did to my dress. So for all you stressing brides, if you dont love your dress. There is still hope!

The staff and atmosphere was great and very accommodating, however, they could use some improvement on taking proper measurements. Both my dress and my bridesmaids dresses were at least two sizes too big and needed significant alterations. I was a little surprised at the size they were recommending I order and wished I would have gone with my gut and ordered a smaller size, because I ended up spending over $600 for the extensive amount of alterations needed for the dress to fit well. The alterations were all taken by different staff members, so it wasnt just a case of one person being off on their measurements.

They do not have all sizes to accommodate everyone. Although this was asked right at the beginning. When we had the larger girls from our group come in, they were a size 22 & 29 (in Bliss s dress terms) the size 22 wears a 14 in all her jeans. The highest size dress to try on was an 18 & there were only 2 to try on. :/ how is this accommodating to larger girls?

Great customer service! Both my daughter-in-law and my daughter have recently purchased their wedding gowns from Bliss. As a very pleasant surprise, both of their gowns were priced considerably less than wed anticipated spending. We are MORE THAN satisfied with our Bliss experience.

At first when I got here the consultant wasn’t very friendly until she found out I was wedding dress shopping and she was actually my consultant. She was very helpful at first but towards the end I felt very pressured into buying a dress. I had said I wasn’t sure multiple times right before the purchase (because of financial reasons - it was an expensive dress) but it was ignored and kept asking about payment. After you make a purchase they’re back to being rude/unfriendly. They just want the sale. I would recommend finding another bridal store.

I understand all sales are finally, but I took home a $1000 dress that I hated and had a consultant not even care I left in tears. Only advice she offered was to stick MORE money into it....not what I wanted to hear. When I purchased this dress I felt all my options ran out, seeing as how I couldnt fit in any of the sample styles other than ballgown. After 3 bridal salons you might understand my want for the trying on to be over...I understand why they have no return policies, but if they gave credit for my dress I would have walked out spending an extra $2500 dollars with them on the dress I really wanted. Business is business, but wish the consultant could have at least been more sympathetic instead of suggesting to stick ANOTHER $900 into it.

I had a wonderful experience with Bliss. My appointment was scheduled toward the end of the day, but they didnt kick me out once it was closing time. I never felt rushed or pressured to make my decision. I was given the time I needed. In the end, I purchased my wedding dress that day with Bliss and am appreciative for how accommodating they were with me.

Megan was great! She helped me find my dress and helped me choose one that I didn’t even consider in the first place and I ended up loving it!

I purchased a bridesmaid dress from Bliss (same brand as a previous one I own and my size/body has not changed). I shared my size however Bliss highly recommend I go up a size. I trusted their experienced opinion rather than my own judgement, and ended up with a dress that is way too big. My largest measurement was in the flowiest part of the dress, so totally irrelevant to go up a size. Disappointed the expert who helped me did not consider that. Now spending an additional $50-75 on alterations and very disappointed.

Picked out my wedding dress on Wednesday night with Sky and Megan and they were amazing!!!!!!!!! With their help and expertise I will look my absolutely best and I highly recommend Bliss!!!!! Excellent to work with, friendly, calming, and beautiful.

The measurements that were taken were really off. I had to go to a larger size (which cost extra, something that came as a fun suprise during check out) only to then have it taken in two sizes during alterations. My seamstress thought I bought the dress online, she was in complete disbelief someone had actually taken measurements. An already exspensive dress ended up costing so much more because of their half-hearted approach. Its a cute store but id recommend going elsewhere.

My wedding dress was a month late and my brides maids dresses were suppose to be here 3/16/2018 and are still not here . The employees never kept me updated . When I called to ask them were the bridesmaids dresses were they told me they were going to be in on 4/6/2018 and they still not have arrived. I’m Really disappointed

Everything ranging from off the rack to couture. There was also a nice variety of plus sized dresses. Sample sizes seemed to be mostly 12, although Im only positive about the 7-10 dresses I tried on. I ended up choosing a dress from the Willowby collection by Watters. It’s the perfect fit for a whimsical, outdoor wedding!Bridal Consultant: My consultant was Jessica. She was wonderful and I’m so grateful for her amazing personality, professionalism, and expertise. The dress I ended up picking was chosen by her, after I had chosen several dresses that were great, but missed the mark. I felt valued and listened to. I would also like to add that I unfortunately had to shop alone. I recently moved to Milwaukee and know very few people. Jessica didn’t make me feel like I was alone. She was gracious, honest, and was true joy to work with. I had previously visited many shops where I felt the consultant was removed from the process or dishonest in what was right for me (trying to make a sale). I felt like Jessica gave me honest opinions, listened to my needs, and wasn’t just trying to sell me a dress at the top of my budget. Again, Thank you Jessica. I’m so happy!Overview: Bliss Bridal is an excellent establishment to find the right dress for you. I had a great experience here working with Sky. This is the only area store where I have found Hayley Paige / Blush by H.P. dresses, which are gorgeous and different from all the cookie cutter strapless A-line dresses weve all seen dozens of times.

I do appreciate the 2 girls helping me pull together a little closer idea of my vision of a dream dress that I wanted. However, I felt very rushed and didnt feel very welcomed. My Matron of Honor was on her way to see the dress I was contemplating buying and the ladies helping me just kept looking at their watches saying we have less than 5 minutes. I asked if I could swing in later to try it on for my Matron of Honor to see one more time and that I wouldnt need their assistance I just wanted her to briefly see it and they were very short with me with the idea. I felt the moment they found out I was on the fence about a specific dress and wanted to think about it and return later they became very short and unfriendly with me.Also, if you have a budget thats anything under $2,000 I would not recommend Bliss. When it came to options they did not have much. I wasnt very satisfied at all with my experience and again would not recommend it to other brides.

Horrible experience... walked in on a Wednesday when they first opened... sales consultants said hi... that was where it ended... I was asking about certain dresses and the girls wanted nothing to do with me due to not having an appointment... there was absolutely no othere person in the store... I could understand if they were busy or it was a Saturday... I messaged the owner on their Facebook page and never once received a response... great business model...
