We are happy to find the car we wanted with a gray interior and remote start system. Matthew was helpful, calm, tolerable and easy to communicate with. He even reserved the car for us while we were waiting for W young professional program being confirmed (doc check up).We ve traveled to 3 W dealerships and this on is the best, because no pressure and no attacking to the buyers. Easy going and helping. Understanding offers and prices.thank you very much!

I got a few dashboard lights pop up on my 12 Golf and knew I needed to visit a mechanic. After trying to find an appointment in the Boston area and discovering there was no availability for weeks, I tried to call Copeland - wishing there was some far chance that they would have a appointment time.I was connected with Dan in the Service department, he answered right away after I was transferred. I asked if there was any available time for what seemed to be a potential major issue. He said no need to make an appointment, just come down tomorrow and ask for me. I got there at 7 am, 30 min prior to servicing opening. Was sitting in my car in the parking lot waiting when Dan approached me and immediately recognized I was the guy he talked to the day before, he said come right in. Impressive. I dropped my car and he said they would take care of it in the same day, it was Friday. He called around 1 pm and informed me they identified the issue (bad sensor) and everything was set. When I came to pick up the car he casually told me the part was actually hard to find and one of his techs had to travel to another dealership to get it. Even more impressive. I paid what i needed and got the car back. Amazing customer service experience all around and Dan was top notch.. The reputation of a factory dealership seems to always be low but these guys made me feel like a visit to the dealership should be my first step always. Great Job Copeland and great job Dan and team!

I dropped my car off for service this morning and it was ready for me by 1:30pm. During the time of service, I received a text from the technician with a video of my car and the work that had been done. I was informed that there was an oil leak and the technician recommended I replace a couple of items. I agreed to the service and I received a text later saying my car was ready to be picked up. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a dealership they took over 2 weeks to replace a carpet in my car and and to make it even better experience The first loaner they gave me wasn’t even registered so they had to come and swap it out for me which by the way these loaners are dirty and disgusting they gave me a Honda which then the Honda dealer complain that they wanted back so they brought me another loaner another Volkswagen which was dirty and had a underwear under the seat from previous people using the car !! On top of that my car has 1900 miles pretty much brand new there was mechanic greasy handprints all over my leather my steering wheel it was disgusting they didn’t even have the decency to clean my car after dirtying it not to mention the 2 1/2 weeks it took them to do the job unreal!!

After months of research, countless reviews watched and read, Ive decided to purchase the AWD Taos.Copeland Volkswagen had the best offer for that vehicle, but regrettably, the force majeure circumstances that involved stop-sale order have emerged. Nonetheless, Mr. Nuno Gomes @ Copeland has proposed an option that also fits my familys needs and budget. Our family priorities are safety features with good comfort and versatility: we needed a car that would not just sound alarms for cross-traffic, but would automatically stop. A car that I would be confident in terms of driving both in and outside the city. The 2021 VW Tiguan SE fit those requirements perfectly. Also, unlike the Taos, the Tiguan is not a completely new model, so most of the issues have been ironed out by now.Again, Copeland has given me the most competitive offer that I happily accepted. The level of service is outstanding! Allow me to explain: I reside quite far from Brockton, at least 4-5 towns away, so taking a taxi would be a minimum of $50 one-way. Copeland dealership drove me to the dealership and back home, as well as took on additional expenses due to the fact that my driving permit is issued abroad, so it required notarized translation services and more detailed processing by the Massachusetts RMV.Nuno Gomes has answered every question I had with confidence, knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. In fact, he went above that and gave me a referral to an insurance agent, which has given me a rate below the most competitive market rate that I have personally found online. This is an absolutely amazing level of service that is going to continue saving me money every month! Words cant explain how grateful I am to Nuno and the team at Copeland for helping my family get our first dream car!

Or I would have to finance through you because you had taken two fake bank checks in the last two months and refused to deal with outside banks. Was lied about feature on a vehicle over the phone to get me in the door. Then once I was interested in a vehicle they flat out refused to accept payment from my personal bank. They will only let you finance through them all at higher rates.

When I showe6d up with the offer in hand they wouldnt honor it, in fact they were adding a $500 on the top of the sticker price, according to them its because of the supply and demand factor.

TLDR: Copeland sales and finance staff are amazing, easy to work with, and made the car buying process very easy, friendly, and - I felt like they cared, and didnt want or need any BS in the process.Long-form:Given recently VW incentives, I was in an unplanned place to purchase a new vehicle, and I was in a position of not having to rush or commit to any dealer. I reached out to a few Boston area dealers (did not realize we had so many VW dealers within the 495 belt) ... and was very explicit about how I would like to communicate and work with a potential dealer. My requirements were:1. I had an offer in hand from an acquaintance with a reasonable price for the desired model/trim - and wanted to discuss competitive offers2. With COVID-19, were all busy in different ways, and being in meetings/calls most of the day, didnt have the time to jump on and off the phone - so email (or text) would be the best way to get more information or provide me with a quote - not having to spend hours in the showroom3. I would call interested parties back as needed for further conversationThere were about 8 of the exact same cars across the Boston area and I reached out to 5 of them - Copeland being one. Most of the major VW dealers got back to me relatively quickly - either from the dealership sales staff or their remote business development staff. Some called my phone immediately - which was un-appreciated given I had written in my initial note what my offer was and contact preferences.Copeland actually reached out at the end of the day, more-so to follow-up and see how the process was going (and at that point, I had already spoken to 3 dealers seriously). Michael, the GM at Copeland is a no-fuss, straight to the point kind of guy. He doesnt need or have time for BS and also knows how to make a competitive deal without extenuating conversations or let me check with someone ... nope. Michael at Copeland gave me a reasonable competitive offer for the car I wanted, and frankly, regardless of the offers I would have likely still gone with them because:1. the conversation about pricing was 15-mins, tops, and very straight forward - Copeland is realistic and wants to work with you2. the conversation about trade-in was even faster, you really cant fib about your car, because if it isnt the condition you say it is (and yes most people think their cars are 10/10th - when theyre not) - theyll find out when you turn it in ... Copeland gave me a very fair and competitive trade-in credit for my Audi3. Ryan, their finance manager is awesome - he gets into the details as needed, but isnt going to force the conversation when its not needed - very straight forward pricing, breakdown, fees, and contract work4. Matthew, their sales associate who helped coordinate everything - is genuinely just a nice guy, cares about making sure you get everything you need, and takes care of you introducing you to your new vehicle... added bonus ...5. their service/parts guys didnt try to hustle me. I needed an extra part or two just since I was there. I knew pricing from places like ECS Tuning for these parts, the prices were identical, and the parts/service guys explained to me what I needed to know - and nothing more.I think the other reviews - likely valid for the point in time - may need to be re-visited and/or because of previous oversight. Michael and the staff at Copeland are trying their hardest to transform the dealership into an amazing place to want to buy or service your VW at - be transparent, and also provide value in competitive pricing, approach to buying as well as working with you to make sure youre happy.Definitely give Copeland and the team a chance, I am sure they would appreciate your business and are a great team!

All I can say is WOW, this dealership is on point, folks. From Freddy, the sales manager to Ryan who deals with Finance, the entire team is top notch.I was looking for a new vehicle for my wife and due to Covid-19 I wanted to get the deal in place so I knew going in what my lease numbers would be. I went price shopping as any smart consumer would do.After research, I found Copeland. Cars.com stated an excellent price on a 2021 Tiguan SE-R. Copeland was easily $1k to $2,500k less than most of the dealerships. So I called and I got Freddy. Talk about full TRANSPARENCY - I told him the deal I wanted and the budget I had. Freddy delivered an excellent number so the wife and cruised down to take a test drive. Steve in sales was comprehensive going over the vehicle. The whole time I knew the numbers - I tell you, the only upside with this pandemic is dealerships have to play ball. The ones that told me I needed to come in first to get numbers I instantly told politely to pound sand. This dealership and the approach from the staff is top quality. At no point did we feel hassled or pressured. Ryan worked with us at the final stage to get the added nanocure and rim protection we wanted. If you are looking for a VW, please save yourself the time and headache. Call Freddy, the number you get will beat everyone else and you will have a great experience getting into a new ride!

I am not happy with this dealership copeland VW Brockton, MA. I have left my car for repairs and I figure out that someone has been joy riding in my car. Every time I leave my car, I would take a picture of my miles. The car needed the heating system fix and that was a joke the heating system does work the same. They told me I have to blast my heat on high to work.. I never had to blast my heat to retrieve heat.. I was told by a front desk worker what do you want me to do, I cant help you however I paid cash to get this problem fix. Once I retrieve my car last week Nov 2020, the mileage was up 15 miles and the passenger side seat was pushed way back. Something I would never do. I was told the car never moved from the site. I will never bring my car there again and would not advise anyone else to do so. The attorney General office will investigate this mess they created.

I tried to purchase a car at Copeland Volkswagen. After a salesperson agreed to a price for the car in writing over email, I went out to the dealership. When I got there, the staff pretended that the salesperson I emailed with (whom I’d also spoken to from the dealership’s phone number 10 minutes before arriving) was not there, and that they had no idea why she had agreed to the price she agreed to, saying there is no way they could sell me the car at that price. I left, and of course they immediately emailed me dropping the price. Their behavior was so sketchy I did not buy a car from them regardless. Now, months later, I’ve asked multiple times to be removed from their call & email lists and they continue to repeatedly contact me. Terrible customer service and I would never look here again for my next car.

Poor attention to detail. My experience:~Called on Dec 29 and was able to schedule an oil change for 8:00 drop off the next morning.~Oil change occurs and they also identify that a tire has a nail close to the side wall.~I agreed to have them mount and balance a bran new tire.~They notify it’s ready for pick up at 11:15 AM and I arrive to pick it up at 1:30 to a dead battery due to the head lights being left on. Not a big deal, they had it started in 15 minutes and I left in 25.~The following day my TPS light came on, tire pressure was fine but it forced me to look at the new tire. Which was when I realized that they mounted a different manufacturers tire. Mind you it’s 4:00 pm New Year’s Eve, I’m visiting the area and while here I’m 1200 miles from home and due to leave Saturday morning 6AM~I call and comunicate immediately, the next opportunity is to correct the issue on Saturday morning considering service is off New Year’s Day.~I arrive 7:30 And speak with the service advisor who I worked with. Generally the conversation went well and they are corgle, service orders the correct tire by 7:55 for 11:00 delivery.~I explained that I need to be on the road by 10:00 (Supposed to be making it to NC by bed time) I even offered to go pick up the correct tire in order to get on the road sooner.Parts calls several tire companies and ultimately says he’s waiting for the initial one to call back and confirm how soon they can deliver. 8:15 begins to play with what I imagine is a personal phone while I wait for him to get a call back.~10:15 no change, I stood between he parts rep and service advisor for all but 20 minutes since arriving with no update, even while asking.~Decided to take a car for a test drive to get breakfast. Some time soon after the tire was delivered~Received notice at 11:00 it was ready and I’m able to depart the area at 12:00.I’m not entirely disappointed with the reaction of the team to correct the issue. Though this is a situation that could have been avoided for as little time as it would have taken for the person responsible to order the tire to simply walk to the car to check what’s actually mounted. Perhaps 20 minutes of their time impacted 6 hours hours of my time.If it seems like this is a total waste of my time to write, well you’re damn right it was. We’re so fortunate that Copeland Volkswagen provided such a wonderful opportunity Saturday morning.

I recently financed a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan from this dealership 7/25/2020 and from the beginning they never listened to me I initially went there to look at a 2017 Passat R-Line there was a lot of damage to this car so i told the salesman I wasnt interested in the car unless they would bring the price down and I also stated i didnt want my credit score ran until i knew that thew price was brought down and he and the financial lady Laura didnt listen and still ran my credit score i had also told them i knew the bank i wanted to finance with and that would be Ally an di only wanted my credit ran by Ally and they didnt listen for both the 2017 Passat and the 2016 Tiguan the financial lady ran m y credit with 4 different banks twice and I know because credit karma informs me right away. That was the first thing that happen. The second problem is the sticker on the Tiguan said it was 13,000 but online it said 12,000 i screenshot the price when i got home that day to make sure I was getting it for the 12,000 and i did but the very next day i looked at the price online and it had went up to 13,000. The day my tiguan was ready to be picked up they told me that I could pick up at 10:30am i got there and didnt end up leaving until 2:30 pm. Neil the salesman, Freddy the sales manager, and Laura said that my registration wasnt part of the deal and it would be best if i renewed my old registration so i did so and it cost me 60 dollars to renew my registration for my old plates not to be used and they said because of the inconvenience they just gave me new plates for free thats what Laura said. My third issue was I received a call from my insurance agent as i am waiting for my car to leave and she told me that she received paperwork with another persons information but with my signatures so i went inside the dealership and informed them for the situation and they resent my paperwork but I do not understand how if i did not resign any paperwork regarding my insurance on the tiguan. My forth issue is that the day i went and got the vehicle off the lot my salesman barely talked to me and did not deliver the car to me so when i had left i received a call from the salesman and he wanted me to sign paperwork stating he had gone over the car with me and i refused to because he did not. I took time to look at this form the salesman wanted me to sign and i seen it said my mass inspection wasnt part of the deal. At this point Im annoyed and i took a second look at the contract and it shows that i paid for my registration and state inspection. i called right away and spoke to the sales manager Freddy and he assured me i would get my money back for the registration. On top of all this when i left the dealership that day i was on the highway and the gas light turned on so i put in 37.04. Overall i never got my money back so i paid $120 for a registration and i pay interest on 60 out of the 120. Lastly my biggest concern is that my Lien holder has a different contract then i do and informed me i needed an updated one and the dealership refuses to revise my contract. Mike the general manager refused to fix my issue and hung up my face several time I have proof of everything that happen screenshots, emails, texts, and paperwork.

Overall three stars, two stars are for the quality of the car. If I could I would give a sub score of 5/5 for the quality of the car. Only one more star for the customer service. I bought a car from Copeland Volkwagen in August 2020, it is a very nice certified pre-owned car. There was major miscommunication between the employees. On the first day at the dealership I test drove the car and I did like it. The next day I said I wanted to buy it and went to the dealership. After I signed all the documents Alvin, the former finance manager, said they do not have the physical title at the dealership. They needed for me to sign the title to take the car. Since I was dropped off at the dealership I had to find a ride to my work in hyannis in less than 3 hours to start my shift. The best they could do was refer me to enterprise to rent a car since they did not have a loaner car to give me. It took 3 weeks for the title to arrive at the dealership, they gave no reason to why it took so long and each time I called within those 3 weeks they could not give me any update on the status. I talked with Freddy, the sales manager, and Michael, the building manager, and both only had excuses for me. The new finance manager, Ryan seems more organized so far the couple of times I have spoken to him. The one employee who has never given me a negative interaction either through email, on the phone, or in person is Matt, the car salesperson.

TLDR: When looking at Copeland Volkswagen, be very wary for false advertisements and extremely aggressive sales techniques.I came across Copeland Volkswagen while searching for certified pre-owned vehicles to purchase. When I first came across an interesting advertisement, I called ahead to clarify any hidden fees or additional costs that would be applied towards the final cost of the vehicle. This included standard fees such as a documentation fee, plate/registration fee, and relevant state taxes. When I spoke to their sales manager however, things took a turn. Out of nowhere, the sales manager told me that to get the vehicle in a certified condition, I would need to pay a fee of $995, claiming that the vehicle is certifiable- not certified. Even if you ignore the fact that advertisements clearly state certified and do not even mention the fact that the vehicle is certifiable, there is no other Volkswagen dealership within 50 miles of Copeland Volkswagen that has any similar fee. Furthermore, after price negotiations, the best offer the dealership had was $100 less than what they were originally offering me. This isnt a problem, I understand that you might not get the deal youre looking for, but what shocked me was that when I mentioned that it was only a $100 discount compared to the previous offer they gave, the sales manager tried to guilt trip me and heavily implied that I was privileged to think so little of a $100 discount. This dealership may have good deals and Im not saying dont ever buy from it. For your own sake, be extremely careful with their advertisements and sales people as in my experience, not only does Copeland Volkswagen misrepresent their products in advertisements, they also have extremely questionable sales practices.

This review would have been 5 stars had they called me first. That said, shortly after the call I got a text and email notification with a short video describing what was fixed as well as a quick few comments on the overall health of the vehicle. Great service!! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent dealership. Worked with my wife and I through all aspects. They let me buy a car, they didnt try to sell me. Thats how I felt anyway. From sales people to managers, all were very nice and knowledgeable. We will likely service vehicle here for larger plan-able maintenance items because of this. (We live 45 minutes away so smaller more emergency items will be less convenient) I was hesitant to visit this dealership at first given the reputation of the previous owner/name of dealership. I did not get the vibe that anything was left over from the previous owner/mentality.

Ive been getting my cars serviced at Paul Clark for more than seven years. Mike and his team are the best. Always honest with me. No BS. If I need something they tell me, if it can wait, they tell me that too. We have taken my wifes car to another nearby dealership for service, and every time we walk in they try to upsell us on things we dont need. That never happens at Paul Clark.

We were looking for certified used Volkswagen Jettas online and came across one that met our requirements at Paul Clark. Brian Bell had the car ready for us when we arrived. Travis was easy to communicate with and helped ease any anxiety we had with his easy going and no pressure manner. From test drive to pickup the process was quick and anxiety free. Marissa got us the deal we were looking for. We highly recommend Paul Clark VW, Travis and all of the professionals we worked with!

Im very greatful that I could schedule my tire change last minute for safety reasons. Yet, the tire put on my car went flat twice in 20 minutes while I was driving. In the middle of the highway I had to pull over, very bad spot too. Great customer service but craftsmanship is lower than expected.

From the moment I walked in I did not get the higg salesman pressure to buy vibe. Both salesman on shift Where straight forward with me. I told them what I was willing to spend on a car I was interested in. They of course had to make sure they were not loosing on there end so they came back with a counter offer. I Declined. We where a little off. But they didnt try to swindle me into something ELSE that was close to my limit. The next day I received a call and they where able to get the deal done Within my budge. From the moment they called paper work and me walking out the door eith keys in hand took 3 days. It could have taken 1 day but they worked around my schedule. I will recommend you stopping by Volkswagen Copeland on liberty st in Brockton. I promise you this is an honest post. And Believe me I am not. Fan of buying a car and the whole process. But Rob & Laura also I know I am leaving one more gentlemans name out of this post made this car purchasing process as painless as possible for me. And they got me into a great car at a great price

Michael Tishman did an AMAZING job. As a first-time car buyer, he made everything effortless. I am so grateful for his help and the extra time he put in to make my purchase perfect. Michael is courteous, professional, timely, and very personable. I never felt pressured and he always provided all of the information. I am in love with my Jetta and am so thankful for the time Michael took to review every single detail (multiple times over for my sake) throughout the car buying process.. Michael is honest and incredibly hard working - I drove my car off the lot only two days after I went in to speak with him! (Which was for 3 hours - he is super patient.) Thank you so much for everything Michael!

I have to say I walked in tired and quite defeated from prior dealerships that day, but the moment I walked into Paul Clark I was welcomed. Being a young woman it would have been intimidating walking into a dealership with all men - but everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Rob made my day by making me laugh while getting me into a new car! Highly recommend!

Complete scum bags!! buyer beware!!! These guys are liars and very comfortable lying to their customers for profit. I manage a chain of repair shops, one of my techs damage a guests key and we are not equipped to fix that at our locations, I had these people make me a new one. They called me making up a story about the ignition being bad and bound up and they couldnt get the key back in the car so I needed to pay another $700+. What they didnt know is I personally removed the old key and tested the ignition before sending it to them because they tried to set up the bad ignition switch when I called to ask for pricing. When I told Tim he was a liar and his attempt to scam me spoke volumes of his business he laughed and hung up on me. They thought I was just a guy in an office somewhere. They lied, so I had one of my managers go and get video proof the ignition worked fine. All of a sudden my bad broken ignition switch has no problems and they are more than happy to program my key. SCUM. Tim in service is a grade A liar, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Worst part was they tried to put my customer against me telling the customer I refused to pay to fix the parts we broke on her car. She was just as upset when she saw the video of her ignition working just fine. They are lucky I allowed them to still program the key and pay them the $275 it cost me. I will be contacting the BBB and this will NOT be the end of this. Shady people like this give the entire industry a bad name, we are not all bad, but these people are.

Went in for a Oil change for my 2015 Passat TDI. When the tech refilled DEF fluid he spilled it everywhere. My trunk has dried DEF fluid all over my upholstery, dog water bowls. What ever I had stored near the fill nozzle. Paul Clark VW was bought out by Copeland. I wasn’t notified. I had service rewards with a total of around $85 that I wanted to use. But Copeland VW wouldn’t honor it. Copeland VW has lost a customer.

They were great to me. Bought my GTI here back in 2016. Got a great deal and the salespeople were professional and great to work with.I got a service plan through them and have taken my car back twice for yearly maintenance since then. Both times they provided me what I needed and didnt try to upsell me on anything ridiculous. When I needed new tires, they helped me get the exact ones I wanted at a competitive price even when they didnt have them in stock. I wont go anywhere else for my cars service.

I wound up at this dealership by accident. I’m from Peabody. I just happened to be visiting my parents in Randolph when my car broke down. My brother suggested I take it to Paul Clark for service. The service guy was extremely nice and understood that I was stranded. My car was undriveable without repairs. He gave me a few options but in the end I asked if I would be able to drive a new car home if I bought it that day. Well, Ron Novin and Mr. Clark made that happen. Ron spent the better part of the day test driving a number of different models with me while I went back and forth with my decision. I never felt rushed or pressured. Mr. Clark sat and chatted with me while the car was being detailed for me to take him. It was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. And even though I’m on the opposite side of Boston, I will definitely be bringing my car back to Paul Clark VW for service.

Update: Partial refund was received and was informed that the owner will not refund the rest of the money that we are entitled to even though we followed all policies and according to the contract, are entitled to a full refund. Not sure why anyone would want to deal with this establishment if this is how they do business.Beware of Michael Tishman. This man appears to assist and help those with poor or bad credit but lies through his teeth stating that you NEED to buy GAP insurance and the extended warranty in order for the bank to process the loan. He also does not state during the application of the loan that you need to pay for these items. He just states this is your gap insurance and this is your extended warranty and tells you to sign. Nothing disclosed on the fact you need to pay nor that it was OPTIONAL. When inquiring to cancel, he attempts to scare you off saying that when you cancel the gap and extended products, it will leave a red flag on your credit report and that getting a loan in the future will be much tougher. I did not personally get the loan or buy the car but was assisting a friend whose first language was not English. In case he wants to fire back stating he cant discuss another persons deal with me even though it was ok for me to give them the go ahead and process the application and loan.

Anthony G. was a pleasure to work with. He is the antithesis of what you expect from working with a car salesman: He was pleasant, funny, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I could tell that he really cared about his customer and his product, and his passion really showed. I went to 3 different VW dealerships before I ended up at Paul Clark. None of the other ones were even as close to as personable as Paul Clark was. I was helped every step of the way, and not once was I treated like a tire-kicker. Could not recommend them more.
