Needed my brakes done they were awesome. They called me when they found an unexpected issue and price was reasonable. We use them for our oil changes as well. Great place, prices and professional.

I made a last minute appointment since I had just found out I would not be working that day. I had even used a coupon. I was was well received and actually waited just a few minutes and my tires were rotated. I wasn’t sure where exactly to go since I had moved from East Haven so I did some research and figured this looked like a good place. I am very pleased with the service and highly recommend Meineke Car Care Center at 1114 Farmington Avenue in Bristol.

I was serviced pretty quick which was nice, however I never received the number or info for the free 4 months of roadside assistance service. When I asked where the pamphlet was that I normally receive when I get this package the guy who cashed me out said the info should be on the receipt in which I told him it wasn’t, so he gave me a phone number, but that doesn’t mean/prove I am covered. This needs to be investigated as I paid for the oil change package that includes the road service

I brought my car in for a new power steering unit. After receiving my car, I noticed that it still whined when I turned the wheel but, was assured that that noise would go away. The steering would freeze up on my while going down the highway so, I made an appointment to bring it back again. I went to my appointment only to be told that they forgot it. I asked if I could have it done since there was no one else being worked on. It was evident because I was the only one there. He said not today or any time in the foreseeable future. So, I have been driving with it like it is now for about a year. On the highway, the steering freezes up and no matter how strong a person is, it does not unfreeze until you give it some gas. Im going to have it done elsewhere when I can but, they knowingly allowed the car to leave their facility knowing it was unsafe to drive.

My first visit to Meinike in Bristol, CT for an oil change was a pleasant one. Joe, the manager, was courteous and knowledgeable. He did not try to steer me into purchasing extra services and checked the previous service records for the car I recently acquired from a relative. A friendly, trustworthy business. I will be back!

I get the best service with Meineke! As a female it is really hard to trust what a mechanic says is wrong, they would give me the run around and make me question their decision because as a female they think we know nothing. The gentlemen at Meineke are very detailed in every decision made, they also send you a full report via text which I find to be amazing!!! it shows the work that was done, the issues that were found with outstanding evidence that explains the reason. After a couple of GREAT experiences I would never bring my vehicle anywhere else. Meineke takes the time to make sure I understand and doesnt talk to me like a female but an actual human being! and I love it! I recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!! Guys there where extremely professional, job was done super quick and correct. They even inspected my vehicle just to show me a few problems that I had another shop repair. The other shop did not actually repair the parts that meineke alerted me to. This place is my new go to.

Went for a simple muffler leak and Hanger replacement. And never completed the whole job! Still missing a hanger! Even @ check out they told me all the work had been done! But it was easy and stress free to go back and have the work finished.

If youre looking for a great place to get anything done go to Bristol Meineke they did an oil change on my car and were the nicest and most professional people there. They changed the oil and didnt try to upsell me on parts like most auto shops would do all they tried to get me to buy was an air filter because it was dirty and I told them I would do it and they were really nice about it.

The staff certainly made sure I understood what my vehicle needed and they got started on it right away. Having said that, I had hoped they would have bled my brakes good and made them a lot less splashy.

Nice place, but if you are allergic to rubber you might want to wait somewhere else. Tires are in waiting area. Manager was nice and patient. Although I believe they over booked themselves a bit. There was a longer wait than expected, but not too long and worth the wait to have my AC fixed

This Meineke is the only place I bring my car that I trust the safety of me and my daughter. Chris and Tim are great and always go above and beyond to help a customer. And recently they have gone digital and I now receive a full inspection report with pictures of items they feel need attention - for example my left front axle boot is torn, they take a picture for me. This is a great feature! I will never take my car anywhere else!♡

The owner, Chris, is also very community oriented, and will often run special promos to help out the district- that speaks to his character and the character of the entire shop. I needed an oil change and had to bring my 2 little kids with me . When I got there the guy said he had his one guy on lunch so I figured Id be waiting for a while. But instead, the guy at the counter went and did the oil change himself instead of having me wait for the guy to come back from lunch. I really appreciated it. Was in and out in like 20 mins .actually my kids didnt even want to leave they wanted to stay and play in the waiting room lol

I never feel comfortable bringing my car to a shop because they usually try to get as much money out of you as possible but this place was such a good experience! The guys were so nice willing to fix every problem with out any hesitation! Even sent me a thank you card for working on my car! This is my 3rd visit here.. i drive a lot so i tend to have to see mechanics frequently. This has become a favorite place of mine. I book an appointment and they are always on point. They are honest about what i need when to help me spread out the costs so i dont get a surprise bill. They showed me the breaks cause i was curious (i knew they were not good but god dang).. this is not the closest meineke to me but i adore them and rather travel 15 minutes extra so I can feel safe about what is going on. Being a woman its even more appreciative.. we all know how much most mechanics try to rip women off.

After bringing my car to another shop and paying for service but still experiencing issues I brought it here. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER ORIENTED FACILITY! My experience here was fantastic to say the least. Chris was not only super easy to work with he went above and beyond to make sure my moms car was 100% He explained everything in detail with me and my Dad who is a old mechanic himself who is disabled, which he didnt know. When we talked over what need to be done dad said this guy is for real, have him do it. This was my first time here and from now on my goto guy.

Paid to get a engine filter changed, come to find out i needed it changed again within 3 months which is ridiculous. So i was pretty much given a cheap filter.OVER -CHARGES FOR SIMPLE SERVICES which the actual car dealerships are way cheaper with more quality service. There was a new young woman that just started there and she was trying to sell me everything under the sun and tell me everything was wrong with my car which is ANNOYING! I came for whatever service i scheduled an appointment for, if my car isnt blowing up then stop trying to convince me that everything is wrong. i will never go to another meineke again.

These idiots shouldnt even be in business... they actually make me ashamed to call myself a mechanic. Thieves and novices.

Wonderful service on a Monday morning.

The Manager Chris was very rude to me. After I had them check my brakes give me an estimate and put it back together because I have to plan for this service. The estimate was 800. plus as I was leaving the parking lot I heard a klunk that wasnt there before, went back told him about it and had the guy look at it again and they claimed that was there when I came it and it was not I have been driving this and this is the first time I heard it. Told them I should call the police and he basically screamed at me. as I was driving toward Firestone someone kept beeping at me my wheel was about to fall off they didnt put all the lug nuts on Firestone said and the ones they did put on they didnt tighten them up. Firestone guy came out immediately and replaced the missing lug nuts and tightened all the rest of them. I credit them with NO stars at all and theyre lucky nothing else happened. VERY LUCKY! Well I had to give at least one star for them to post this post. Thankyou Firestone for all you do!

Again these guy to the rescue.. for years ive been using them and every time i know im in great handsWow is all i can say once again about the outstanding service i get at this Meineke. Every time i go i am always greeted with a smile and such friendly service by people who know what they are talking about. Im a single mother who struggles to make ends meet, know very little about cars and am always concerned when my car starts acting up that im not going to be able to afford to fix it.This last visit my check engine light was flashing, car was sputtering and wouldnt go over 40mph. i called up and was taken in right away. I was almost in tears not knowing what was wrong with my car :(..Chris the service manager was so kind and did everything to address my fears.when he told me we are in this together and well find outs whats wrong and get my car up and running i really cant say how great it was to have a repair guy take such a personal approach as if it was his car.Turns out my civic was way low on oil, now if you asked me what that meant before this happened i wouldnt have a clue, but you can bet i do now. Each time i learn more and more about my car. WHO DOES THIS??? not any other mechanic ive been to before.There i was thinking my baby was really done and i would be broke with no car and it was fixed for under $150 bucks!!!!!!People can write bad reviews all they want when they dont get their way but this place is the best.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I basically ruined my car, by taking it to this place. I should have known better. The oil change deal kind of luired me in. As usual they tried to talk me into ..your car needs this and that and we have to order it...load of crap. When I asked them to give me my car back..they mentioned they had already started working on it... Ever since, my car has had an engine leak and several other problems. I dont know, what they did to my engine..but I just want others to think twice before they take their cars there.

I love mieneke my car had broken down twice in one month my transmission and engine both died Chris had worked with me to put it on and icare program because he knew I wouldnt have that much money. This place is a joke..... I just wanted a rough estimate over the phone for a tune up....... The owner Chris (wouldnt give his last name) was very rude and condescending, and tried to tell me that Meinekes dont quote out prices over the phone. But if i gave hime my liscense plate and or VIN number he would be able to get me a quote in 15 mins...... He also told me i could drive down there for them to be able to tell me how much it would cost.......??? How does that work??? Dont ever come here!! I went to get my windshield wipers fixed and they actually brought my car out to me with the wipers still broken!!!! Not only that the male receptionist was extremely rude after and yelled at me in public at the top of his lungs outside that people like u make me want to puke. Poor service and grotesque customer service.
