Very good Colombian food. Nothing fancy...just good combian authentic food that can bring good memories. The only thing I might want to say its that the blender needs to be moved to the back...its too loud to be next to the tables.

I really enjoyed the green plantain soup. Also the papaya drink which is great for digestive system.

Excellent Columbian restaurant with fresh ingredients and great prices. Spanish is the language spoken inside with Google Translate able to help.Our waitress was kind, thoughtful, and great at making recommendations. They close by 5PM most days so breakfast, lunch, and an early dinner at the choices.My wife got the fish with fresh lettuce, fried plantains, bean soup, and rice. Three sweet and tasty fishes were quickly eaten and Loved by her.If you have Spanish speaking friends, you can ask for more details for any menu confusion if English only speaking.We tried this place hoping to explore and support local restaurants.I got the thin sliced steak with 2 fried eggs in an onion and pepper sauce. The rice was fresh as well as the shredded lettuce, pickled cabbage and tomato slice. The plantains I must say were the best in RI that I have ever had. Super good for under $13We also got their juice drinks. My wife chose one of her South East Asian favorites and LOVED it. I got the berry smoothy mixed with Leche for a dynamic and creamy drink.All of this including the drinks for less than $30 total?! This place is a Must return for sure!!#RockFromRI

I have mix feelings about this place . I was there first time they opened a year or so ago, back then it wasn’t good. I remember seeing in their fridge milk from price rite, and everything tasted not good, I figure everything they were cooking with Came from Price Right . I think they changed chefs It is way better than before, but there is a something not quite right .. I am not sure if the products they buy are just so cheap that food taste strange . Their boñuelo has come a long way . I think they can do a better job with the hígado encebollado . I don’t mind paying a little more for great food!The quality of the meat is very low and it taste like it . The rice could be better. I think it comes down to the quality of the products they buy. They also could do a better job in the coffee department . You should see how el antojo makes the coffee and let me tell you, you will see a great difference if there is effort put into making a great coffee . Service was very good.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to try some Colombian food without breaking the bank. Its not going to have fine dining options, but if you want casual Colombian food like empanadas, buñuelos, bandeja paisa, among other things, its a really solid option relative to many other Colombian restaurants in the area.Pros:-Really casual good food, the empanadas are nice and crispy and with plenty of meat. A lot of Colombian restaurants either have mushy crust, or a lot of potato and not enough carne de res or Pollo. Bunuelos are good, but they are often cold, best had with some chocolate con leche.- Super affordable prices. You can buy an Arepa with cheese, huevos(scrambled eggs) for a few bucks. You can feed a family of six for less than $50.Cons:-limited seating. A part of more than four will have a hard time finding seating (only one table can accommodate)-service can be slow sometimes. So if you are in a rush, maybe skip and go to la casona instead.
