Wide isles so you can stay further from others during the pandemic, very helpful, and accessible staff. Nothing fancy but good selection and cheaper than Safeway.. Checkout is sometimes confusing.

Remarkably well kept (clean), very impressive array of options in all departments (meats, cheese, alcohol, household goods, etc) prices were very competitive with what I’d expect other nearby stores would charge for similar items I purchased. I was also extremely impressed with how well staffed the store was, if we needed help (we didn’t) I didn’t have too look far to find a knowledgeable clerk. They also had ample check outs open (something most stores rarely seem to get right) so the check out process was a breeze! They also have self checkouts if you prefer that option too!

Most FoodMaxx locations are fairly run down and not much of a pleasure to shop at. This location is very different, however. Theyre generally clean, well stocked, and well kept and everything runs smoothly.

I was actually not frustrated today in regards to inventory. A few items they were out of but the majority of items in stock. This is by far the nicest Foodmax in our area

It seems like the usual Foodmaxx with everything in order. I only gave this store a 4 star because the check out clerks are on the same side of the customer, leaving it cramped at check out.

Clean and friendly staff . The check out lines are pretty quick . And I feel safe shopping here .

Cool in-n-out grocery spot, cheaper than Safeway; produce just as attractive - plus theres currently a very personable gentleman that works in produce that is willing to help in any other department, and welcome a little small talk which gives this location a mom n pops grocery vibe.The kids love the cookies in the store-baked section, and its an easy walk-through.Check out can be more efficient, but thats everywhere.

Make sure you check the expiration dates on their products as I found one bag of coffee that was dated expiration of 2020

At 4:00pm on a Saturday, there were small lines and plenty of meat, canned goods, etc. Less people and ease of shopping. You do have to bag your own groceries.

There always out of stock. Chicken is a gamble. Theres always pallets in the. Its just dirty. I switched to WinCo like them much better.

This is one of my favorite stores. They have great selections of thing from meat, freezer items,veggies, snack and everything else. They also have great prices. The store is usually kept very neat and tidy. They have a pretty decent selection of beer at good prices. You do usually have a bit of a wait if you dont use self check out but the savings are worth it!

Kinda disappointed the store seems dirty and poorly stocked. Downhill over last couple years.

I like it its very convenient for me I live a couple minutes away. Best time to go is early in the morning to let at night on Weekday.. is just like in and out. Staff very friendly. Great products, and prices not bad.

Perfect neighborhood grocery store. It always smells so good in here! When I dont want to drive to whole foods, I walk to this mini-version of it to fulfill my grocery needs. This tiny shop has an excellent selection of produce and ready-made foods.

This is the cleaner one in my area and I use that loosely due to the fact that I have been in better FoodMaxx is in the Bay Area. This evenings fruit looked horrible. This was the first time I experienced it since Ive been shopping here for over a year

They had some good deals on food but they have a thin blond cashier that is very rude. Doesnt quite make up for the deals you save to be insulted by the cashier

I have only been here a handful of times and usually the store is well stocked. Today I was pleasantly surprised with some of the deals they had, including shrimp. Unfortunately, the butter I usually buy, Kerry Gold, seemed to be out of stock or FoodMaxx no longer carries it. That was quite sad. I could not find an employee who I could verify with. Overall, the store was clean and the Checkers seemed to be in good spirits, but then again, I was hardly acknowledged.

Quick and easy, especially with self checkout. After 10pm can be a pain because there us only one checker. Glad to see a gluten free section, but lacking a proper organic produce section. This is my, quick I need something late at night spot.

Never crowded, lines go fast, staff are friendly. I love shopping here except i just hate they have one spot for Pepsi 6pk bottles and they Pepsi dude puts like 3 on the self every morning. Its ridiculous.

I really love our Food Max here in Brentwood. All the produce is displayed nicely and convienentlyeasy to shop for our favorite fruits and vegetables..The bakery department always has a fine assortment of cakes cookies and pies with many extras to chose from thats so delicious. I really like the way this store is layed out..Everything you need to prepare meals with or stock up onIs very easy to find..The store has a nice selection to choose from. Whether you prefer name brand items or store brand items the savings is worth every pennyspent.. Food Max grocery store is my favorite grocery store..aslo Id like to.mention

I shop here frequently. They have excellent prices on most products. Of course, there are some things that are higher but not much. The personnel are friendly and helpful too. This is supposed to be one of those stores where you bag your own groceries but when I go through the checkout, I always have my groceries bagged for me. If I have something heavy, like a case of water, they are more than willing to take it to my car. Their produce is pretty good. It is probably 3 stars but you cannot beat their prices. For example, Safeway charges $1.99 for a bunch of green onions. Typically, Food Maxx charges around 44 cents. Why would you pay $2 for green onions? That is outrageous. Same thing with lettuce. When Food Maxx has a price of say 69 cents, Safeway charges $2.49. Basic produce is fine - like green onions, potatoes, etc. but sometimes the fruit is not so good. Other than that, I love this store!
