First time here after i read the reviews on google maps i stopped in on my way from work. the stuffed arepas are really good and had alot of meat in them. it can get a little messy so you might need to finish it up with a fork. ill definitely be back!

Very friendly even if you don’t speak Spanish. Server was willing to answer my questions about food & tolerate my descriptions of foods & condiments that I did not remember names for but could describe. Generous meat portions on arepas. Fresh and hot even close to closing time! Can’t wait for next time. Will make it my business to go earlier for more choices, though extremely satisfied with what was left. Sign of good business & delicious, quality food.

This is obviously one of the best restaurants in the area. Always when I visit this place I am exceedingly glad. They keep their very high level service and the topmost level of food they give. You always win with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Food isn’t great and they are expensive for very little food.The lady was giving me 2 pieces of rib for a medium plate of food that was $12 as if they were going to sell out. I asked for me ribs and she said they’d have to charge me more. Really? 2 ribs?? Pork is the cheapest meat out there.I went back the next day they had the same exact rack of ribs this time over cooked as if they reheated it.Not worth itFood also looks and tastes old.The empanadas are okGave it 2 chances and same results. I’d pass on this place.

I was looking around for a Venezuelan restaurant option here in long island and found La Arepa Deli. The arepas are really good along with all the other foods. There is a place to eat but this is mostly a pickup food location. Very good as a lunch option.

Dont know if they paid people to leave these good reviews..But what i ate was no where near what people are saying on here..i bought 3 arepas and put 2 in the trash the chicken was gross the beef was gross the chicharone was tolerable. They have no person able skill at all oh and i bought 2 beef empanadas they were dry and went in the trash as well..I will never step foot in this place again.😖 wanted to like it but i didnt.

Use to be good until they started running out of chicken arepa and black bean and cheese arepa.How do you not have black beans?

No one spoke English. I couldn’t teally ask any questions because they didnt understand what i was asking.The rice and shredded chicken was dry and lacked seasoning.

Great authentic food, and excellent service. Very friendly service and a lot of variety, I ordered colombian empanadas and chorizo for a snack, both were delicious. I also like that they make their own arepas. Definetly will be back when I am in the area.

My order was wrong, incomplete, extremely salty, and the rice was undercooked. To top it off, when I called to speak with the manager about my concerns, she did not want to except her mistakes. She was very arrogant and not helpful. I am still waiting to hear back from the owner.

I love shopping there, it is both the owner and the people who serve very friendly and cordial clean place and I find what I want and the food is very delicious.

The food is very bad, as a Colombian I feel super ashamed of this place, a warmed one that seemed more well kept for a dog, a salty arepa and the very horrible empanadas, very, very bad this food.

Terrible service, when you go to buy a Chulado at 6 pm onwards they tell you that there is no reason because the fruits are over, but that is a lie. That is called VAGANCIA since the machine is clean or maybe it takesTime to prepare them. Also the food is very expensive for a small town ... if I could give it 0 stars I would do it but it wont let you ... thanks

There is a variety, but they fall short in seasoning and flavor, the stuffed arepas are raw inside, the tamales are very dry, we must remember that the empanadas are delicious; the waiting time for them to prepare something for you is very long, it would be good if they were very aware of those who prepare the food, that is important so that the quality of the seasoning and the flavor is maintained, improved and with this the customers want to return.
