On 4/18/2015, I accompanied my girlfriend to this furniture store to shop for two living room chairs. She lives in Brenham and has purchased several pieces of furniture there in the past. Despite higher prices and limited selections she strongly wanted to support this local business. On this day, she purchased two chairs. One chair being a rocker recliner covered with a faux leather material that she was assured of being of good wear and high quality. This chair sits in her living room seldom used. Today she noticed the material is deteriorating. My girlfriend became very upset, as well as I, so we went to the store today to discuss the poor quality of this chair to store staff. We were told so sorry, nothing they can do.My girlfriend shopped around and found other chairs at better deals, out of Brenham, but insisted on dealing with Schleiders because they are local and she had positive past experience there. So now she is left with an $800 piece of trash, and no recourse. Time to visit Matress Mac!
