Love the atmosphere, vibe, and ultimately, the coffee! After the batista graciously offered me a sample of their Easy Drifter blend of coffee, my assumptions were affirmed. I then rushed home after purchasing a bag of their Night Rider blend and brewed a V60. Awesome cup and flavor profile! I would indeed recommend and be back for more.

Updating my star rating. Accidentally put as 3. I gave 4 stars because they didnt have a large coffee selection. I went here for the first time and was looking for a better coffee choice option than Starbucks... which lacks in serious customer service. I did a Google search for coffee places near me and went based off great review ratings.. Mescalito customer service is great, store was cute and clean... especially loved their sweet, sleeping pooch. Only suggestion is a larger coffee selection with more options.

Tried to support a local coffee shop instead of the souless behemoth, but three mornings in a row, they werent open (8am-915). One of the days they were in there but just watched us walk up and away. Never fear coffee lovers; across the street, about three doors down, is a wonderful coffee and gift shop, so good we went three days straight and its locally and family owned. We never like to leave 1 star for locally owned so well give it 2 for benefit of the doubt and will try again next time we are in town.

Wow, the reviews were not exaggerating about this place serving amazing coffee! Came here for the first time as I’m in town for work, and I had one of the best Cafe Late (with oat milk) I’ve had. Definitely recommend and also nice shop inside. You can tell they care and want the best for their customers.

I took my daughter to Brenham to take her driving test for her drivers license, and afterwards we stopped here so I could sit and do some work. The coffee was really good, but the options were limited. You are not going to find your mocha java shake with an extra shot of espresso here. But the place is really... my daughter called it cute, which in todays teen lingo, I take as high praise. Id say the atmosphere was a Better Homes and Gardens kind of vibe with lots of places to sit. No couches, which I love in a coffee shop, but plenty of good sitting space.

The perfect small town shop with an amazing gourmet quality coffee bar and an attached boutique. The syrups they use are the best Ive ever had and the flavor combinations are on par with craft cocktails. Try something new and you wont be disappointed. The two birddog shop friends are always happy to see you while you find beautiful southwest silver jewelry, clothing, shoes, hats and one of a kind pieces. They even have pop ups in back including a barber! You cant come to Brenham without making a coffee stop here!

Mescalito Coffee is in the heart of Brenham with amazing service and delicious coffee. Coffee is prepared quickly when you order and you can also call in your order so it is ready for pick up. You can find Mescalito inside of Ballad of the Bird Dog which is a great store and you might be lucky and find two cute pups! If you visit Brenham I recommend you visit Mescalito Coffee! If you are local you will always be craving their coffee!

Best of the best coffee and relaxing atmosphere! My Chai Latte tasted delicious and looked beautiful in the blue cups coffee is served. We also ordered a Cardamon flavored coffee and not only it didn’t disappoint, but it loved the unique flavor! The place is welcoming and inviting and, staff is very friendly. Located along W. Alamo Street within Brenhams historic downtown district, Mescalito is a special spot to enjoy coffee & tea while browsing interesting Texas chic gifts & apparel. My family and I wandered in one HOT Texas day after brunch to grab a cold brew and two sweet and handsome dogs met us at the door! With a very warm hello from the pups we proceeded to the back to order drinks. It was really busy that day and only one person was taking orders and making coffee. We didnt mind the wait as we were able to browse their products. I ordered a cold brew with milk and chocolate syrup--it was really good. It was great to find a place that was open on a Sunday. Most of the nearby businesses were closed.

After spending the day looking at the beautiful bluebonnets near Brenham, we decided to go downtown for refreshments. I spied a sign in front of a shop that said coffee and had to investigate. My flat white was perfect! Friendly baristas and a charming little shop, too!

Unquestionably, the best coffee in town! We moved here less than a year ago and I have to admit, I was a bit worried I would not find the perfect spot to grab a Almond Milk Latte or another favorite, the Golden Milk Latte. Such a gem!! We were exploring Brenham after visiting Blue Bell down the road. This coffee shop/boutique/barber shop is one DEFINITELY worth the trip. I was greeted at the door by Ruby and later, Rye. They were the gentlest pups and made the experience so unique! I ordered a cortado with oatmilk and chatted with the barista, who was so kind and friendly. The coffee was superb, and I was surprised at their fairly large menu. They also sell coffee and gear, which make great gifts! If youre ever in Brenham, grab a cup of coffee from here and say hi to Ruby and Rye for me!

They have another roaster as well, the name escapes me, but the coffee is excellent. Nice atmosphere, very laid back. Owner & baristas are very customer focused. I go by every time Im Brenham visiting family. I really appreciate yall being there.

I was attending a family reunion in Brenham and found this hip, multicultural store. The coffee was great. I was impressed with the natural ingredients, variety, and roasting process. I came home to California with a couple bags.
