This is the worst mechanic i’ve ever met this dude don’t know how to fix a car if his life depended on it

Worst shop Ive ever dealt with. Transfer case went out of my pickup, they said it could be fixed way cheaper than buying a reman. I told them if it was gonna cost much let me know and I would get a Jasper and have them just put it in. Two and a half weeks later I found out, because I called to see what was going on, that I had to pay $1250 for a reman anyway. The shop never called me once and dropped an $1800 bill on me once it was done. Also now that they worked on my truck it dies at a low idle and every once in a while will kick out of gear and it will tell me range shift inhibited on the dash. These issues could be due to something else but I cant see how because it never did any of this before they worked on it.

I really give this place ZERO stars. I hope that anyone needing work done on their transmission will look elsewhere. We just brought our truck home from having transmission work done by a reputable shop. The work done by Jacco was terrible! Why, after 3 tries couldnt they get it right? The repairman at the transmission shop that finally fixed it showed us -Bolts stripped, wrong pan, etc. It is no wonder that we kept having to bring our truck back in to jacco. They were making a killing off of us!! We actually were shown these issues by the mechanic who finally corrected all the problems. Unfortunately I have no recourse against these bozos- too much time has gone by. I cannot say enough - if you want a quality transmission repair GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! DO NOT GO TO JACCO!!
