We had an appointment today and they are not open. How can you offer appointments if you are closed??? It’s impossible to talk to someone there. I called and the only option is to be placed on hold for over eight minutes and then I got disconnected. No one picks up. If they can’t manage their own website, how could they ever repair my phone? This place is a waste of time!!! I do not recommend them and would never try to use them again!

They were able to fix my broken keyboard, however they did not finish closing the bottom of my laptop and broke the battery and now it will not charge or stay on without being plugged in. I then called Apple and they said that if the diagnostic hardware test which they claim to have run was completed they would have been able to see that the battery was incorrectly installed.

I had an urgent problem: Microsoft Word on my MacBook Air was suddenly acting weird such that the words werent wrapping around to the next line. I couldnt read or print my pages! I tried getting help from Microsoft, but it has gone to on-line help only, which was no help to me. I had a remote session with Carl, who diagnosed and fixed my problem! He also helped me--a complete luddite--with a number of other issues. I cant tell you how fabulous it is to finally find a super competent, efficient, helpful person, who is also personable and super understanding with luddite me, to help me with my laptop issues! Thank you!

Today I took my iMac into Brown Computer because I had had its hard drive replaced and was unable to get into the machine because the password had been changed. A great guy named Sean knew exactly what to and even came out to my car to take my machine into their store. In less than 15 minutes he had solved the problem and I was on my way. Ask for him: service with a smile!

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Brown’s. My Mac mini was behaving weirdly and Apple Support tried in vain to figure it out and finally said I’d have to take it to Apple Store. The Tech who helped me was patient with my questions and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained what was needed. I thought my mini was for the trash heap but now it is better than ever.

I brought my computer in for a repair . The young man was amazingly honest and explained that my computer was old and couldnt fix it but I could buy a new computer. He explained that anything they sell there really only lasts for years and thats I guess how I should budget. I appreciate his honesty and it help me manage my expectations. I didnt realize that anything Apple sold was really only good for four years but now knowing that I can plan ahead thank you so much.

I chose Browns for my first new Apple purchase and it was the RIGHT choice. The distributor accidentally sent an iPad that had been registered to another company already and Apple support floundered to know what to do. Browns understood the situation immediately and got it all sorted out. Greatly appreciative of their knowledge and support!

Very disappointed I drove 35 minutes to a scheduled service appointment to find the store closest 😑 if you have appointments scheduled please contact the customer if you are not going to be in if I could give a zero I would not a happy camper.

Patrick and the entire crew at Brown Computer Solutions is very friendly and knowledgable. Great selection of products. The staff is always happy to answer questions and help you decide which product is best for you. Same is true for their Bennington and Keene, NH stores.

Apple sent me here since they could not determine why the OS could not be installed on a brand new macbook. The staff refused to work on it without paying $100. They told me to go elsewhere.

When I first called to see if they carried 5s iPhone batteries they said they thought so so explained we we’re coming from Shelburne falls 45 miles away I wanted them to check to make sure because I think so,wasn’t very reassuring . When he came back on the phone he said yes they had it and that it would take an hr or 2. I said when I originally called I was told it would take an hr he said it usually takes an hr but tells everyone it’s two in case there’s something unforeseen. So we drop it off and was told it would be ready in two hrs. So we went and did some shopping and went to lunch. We got there close to 2:30 and they said they’d been busy and they needed another half hr. Well a half hr later they came out and asked for the password for getting in the phone so that kinda means they had just started it then another half hr went by and they said they were doing a diagnostic on it I had already told him the Apple store had done a diagnostic on it and I had the case number. I was told he didn’t need it. So we didn’t get the phone for 3 hrs and 45 minutes. My mom is 85 yrs old and gets around pretty well but we had to cancel our other errands because of the 2 1/2 hrs of extra time

You cannot ask for more from a computer store. Helpful, knowledgeable and customer oriented! When they dont have the answer your question immediately, they take the time to get the correct answer rather than make something up like I have seen so many times elsewhere.

Great place for Macs and accessories. Very knowledgeable staff. A very good selection for a computer store in a small town. I got a new iPad Pro here a couple of weeks ago—they had it in stock, no problem.

Brought my iPhone in for help with a recovery mode problem that I couldn’t fix by myself. They were willing to help and although they couldn’t fix it they helped me received my new one underwarenty. It came very very quickly and I was happy we figured something out. Very happy with my experience.

I have purchased multiple computers from Brown Computer Solutions even though I can buy them online with my educators discount. I think the whole crew is simply awesome. They have fixed my computers and recycled them. Always kind and supportive and they do not condescend. I highly recommend them.

I cant say enough good things about Brown Computer Solutions. The staff is not just friendly and helpful, they also take time to explain problems in terms you can understand. Prices are very reasonable, and competitive with online vendors, especially if you factor in the incredible support they provide.

Too bad I had a bad experience. Yes they were very friendly when buying. Then I had a problem with the screen blacking out and I brought the computer in not knowing (because I was computer illiterate ! ) that all I had to do was press the brightness button . They didnt tell me that either but said it was a quick fix and I could pick it up in the afternoon. So I was charged for that when all they had to do was educate me on the brightness button. Then I had a problem with the plastic chipping which they charged me $40 to replace .. twice it happened. Then I went to a different dealer and they were surprised that I was charged as the apple company replaces it for free knowing it was a faulty design..disappointing.. I dont trust them anymore..

Brought in my computer to get rid of a virus and while they did fix it, they made sure that I knew they thought I was an idiot for getting the virus in the first place. So while I am greatful that they helped me, I havent been back since and dont plan to just based on the service I received.
