Stop here for a beer on our way home. Nice little joint. A specialty beer shop with a bar. Located in a strip mall but nice atmosphere. Beer selection on tap was varied so you can probably find a beer or two you like or at least would like to try. Probably the kind of place I would visit often if I lived close by because it’s quaint, quiet and wasn’t super busy on Saturday at 4 ish. Bartender was nice guy too. If you are into specialty beers that’s what they focus on. You can mix and match a 4 or 6 pack or buy a case if they have enough. I suspect they could get you just about anything you want but be prepared to pay for it. Everyone knows the specialty and rare stuff isn’t cheap. I go again if I’m in the area.

A great little local bottle shop in Brandon. Great selection with friendly & knowledgeable staff. There is generally good beer on tap and the great eateries in the same plaza. Pet friendly.

Very quiet, chilled and laid back atmosphere. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that are always willing to lend a moment to educated or recommend on craft brews. Great selection. The locals are very friendly as well. Great place to hang and you can order sushi from the place next door. Also best sushi in Tampa

I just read the review below me, I disagree completely. I just moved here from Philly with my girlfriend and was recommended this place from a co-worker. I am pretty sure I was served by the “overweight” bearded guy and he was extremely pleasant. If you are a craft beer person, I would definitely suggest making a quick stop! Very friendly staff, great regulars and tasteful beer!

Wonderful experience! The beer and service is amazing. The people there were kind and social. The manager Victor, was so knowledgeable and hospitable. Definitely recommend this place!! Ask for Victor if you go, you will enjoy your time for sure!

Good beer selection! Came in right as the store opened on my way home to Illinois. The guy running the store pointed me to all the best local Florida beers that I had to take home. Definitely was not disappointed. Nice store and knowledgeable staff.

Try it before you buy it! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Dog friendly. And what I like best is a great selection of chilled, bottled beers available for purchase. Pop a top a try one there to see if the rest are worthy of taking home.

Came down from Michigan to Florida for a few days, and wanted to try some local beers. The shop was on the way back from Tampa to Orlando, and was worthy of the stop!Shop is incredibly well organized, and every beer can be bought individually, which is really awesome when youre only in town for 5 days and want to try as many as possible.The staff was extremely friendly, I was happy to share some Michigan beers that I brought.Hope you dudes enjoyed, if Im ever back in Florida, I will be there again!

Small independent shop with a solid craft beer tap list and a great selection of harder to find bottled & canned beer. The staff and regular patrons are friendly craft beer enthusiasts. Even as an in the know craft beer consumer, its a good place to find a beer from a brewery you may have never heard of before as long as you dont mind paying a bit extra to try it.

Tom and his staff do a wonderful job there. The selection is plentiful and would recommend anyone to stop by and peruse the inventory. Watch for cool bottle releases! They come and go with lightning speed.

I went to this place today and the customer service from the male with the thick beard was horrible to say the least. I asked him if there was a difference between cider and hard cider because some cans had hard cider and others had just cider. He gave me a rude facial expression like if he had just ate a sour lemon and said yeah, the alcohol difference. I was still confused by his answer so I asked which one has less alcohol? and he replied cider has no alcohol and hard cider has alcohol. Since I had picked 3 cans that just said cider, I was going to put them back but then he said that those cans did have alcohol because they dont sell drinks without alcohol there .He said it in a rude way with the intent to make me feel stupid, like if I was suppose to know that all their drinks had alcohol. There are non-alcoholic beers and ciders, so why did he expect me know all their inventory. Plus, he had just told me that ciders do not have alcohol so, I was even more confused and I had to tell him that I had very little knowledge on beers and cider in the hopes that he could explain the difference between the cans that said cider and the ones that said hard cider. He said to stop thinking too much into it in a condescending manner. I was extremely shocked by his reply. I then asked him if the difference had to do with what or how the alcohol was made and he said no and explained how they are both fermented the same way and then said at least, that is how it is in AMERICA. The way he said that I knew he said it because of my accent. The conversation was longer but it is too much to type, but it was basically him giving me an attitude every time I said anything. He never answered my question with a concrete answer which makes me think he did not know what the difference was. He could have simply told me that instead of acting like I was interrupting his afternoon picnic at the park. I have seriously never been treated or talked to the way this male did. The only reason I went to this place was because I thought the employees were knowledgeable on beers and ciders. I will NEVER buy anything from this place again!! This was the first and definitely the LAST time I will ever go there. If anyone sees the overweight male with the thick beard, walk out immediately if you do not want to be treated like you are not welcomed. If he was having a bad day he should have not come into work instead of costing the store thousands of dollars in the future.****Since google review doesn’t have a reply section. I will add my reply to the owner and to others here. Just because this man was nice to you guys doesn’t mean he was nice to me. Don’t try to discredit my experience just because he didn’t treat you the same way he treated me. Of course, he is going to be nice to the owner and to his acquaintances. Why would I leave this review if he didn’t upset me to this level. Hopefully, he has learned to treat people, strangers and customers with respect after this.

Excellent experience in this fine bottle shop. I stopped in here on the way back to Kentucky to pickup some exotic Florida brews. First thing I noticed was RATM playing (bonus points), Joel was super friendly and happy to help. Stop here even if it’s a little out of your way. You’ll be glad you did.

My buddies and I love this place. Maya is our favorite bartender, and we always find something we like. The atmosphere is about as small town as you can get which is what I like.

A great place to not only hang out and have 1 of the 12 rotating craft beer taps but also a great place to get an education on beer in general without being treated like an ignorant dork. Joel the owner has done some amazing things to grow the business. You can even order food and have it dropped off within minutes from the restaurants near by. Great place to meet new people and catch a tasty beer buzz. Amazing sour and gose collection for you Florida beer fans.

Beer beer and more beer!! Even have a beer while shopping beer!! Staff are very helpful in you finding a new beer that you havent tried before ... and coming from a guy with over 600 different beers tried, it is hard for someone to do! They maintain a good standard selection of regular beers but offset it with a consistently changing list of other beers which helps you to expand your ever growing list of beers experienced. Not sure if I mentioned it but they have lots of different BEER here!! Get on their rewards program so you get gift certificates after you purchase a certain amount over time!

Im pretty lucky to have this gem less than a five minute drive away. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love their knowledge of product and that Im spending my money at a locally owned business. You really cant get much of a better selection either. Make sure to join their rewards program too. I forgot the name of a beer that I wanted to buy again and they looked it up my past purchases for me. A great help!

The Craft Beer Cellar is a really cool store. They have an amazing selection of beer. They even have kegs/taps in the back where you can taste different beers and then fill a growler. I highly recommend this place.

My favorite low key hang out place in the Tampa area - awesome staff, and a great selection of beers and ciders. The staff are real beer people. They know their stuff and theyre eager to share it. The per-item pricing when buying a la cart can add up very quickly, but you get what you pay for and its worthwhile if youre looking for some hard-to-find beers.

Staff is always super friendly and quick to give customized recommendations based on your taste. I love going in and having a few drinks when I can to taste whatever is on tap. I wish I could make it by here more often!

I dont normally drink beer. I didnt even really liked beer until I stopped in here. Cool approachable staff that can teach anything you would ever want to know about beer. We drove out to this store on recommendation of a friend. Im super glad we did! The staff was super friendly, the bottle selection was incredible (I think they had 5 different Mikkellers on the shelf).While the selection wasnt as prolific as some bottle shops Ive seen, it felt like everything was hand curated. I couldnt even skip a shelf, because I wanted to read every label.The staff was extremely friendly and they had a big black dog that my kids pet while me and my wife picked out our beers.It was one of the most low-key beer buying experiences Ive ever had. Its always nerve wracking to take kids into a shop like this, and Im usually trying to get in-and-out as quickly as possible... I was pleasantly surprised to have such an inviting experience.

Colorado has worse weather but better beer than Florida. Glad to find this local source. One awesome feature is you can buy single bottles of anything so you can try new ones.

Came in tonight for the first time to just hang out and have a couple of draft drinks. I’ve never done it until now because (gasp!) I’m not a beer drinker, so up until now I’ve been very much a “grab a couple of beers for a dinner party” kind of customer. Sporadic and confused every time I came in. But they were unfailingly friendly and Joel was incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. They do have wine (limited selection) and cider and ales. As well as SO MUCH CRAFT BEER. Outside food welcome. Go. Trust me. Take the beer lover in your life.

I heard about them through a friend that this place just opened a week ago and I had to check it out. I wasnt disappointed - the owner and staff were extremely helpful and were eager to give me a tour of the store and explain how they organized the store inventory (i.e. one wall starts in Miami and as you move up the wall you are moving up the coast all the way to Maine). They can get you kegs of just about any craft beer if youre throwing a party - not many craft beer places will tell you that.The beer selection was great - I bought a lot of stuff I hadnt tried before. Still, I can still only give their inventory 4 out of 5 stars at this time but I am sure that will improve. They have a lot of open floor space which makes it nice to walk around but from my experience with other craft beer stores that wont last - itll get used to stock more beer :)I highly recommend it.

While I am sure this place carries a great selection, I was quite offended by the customer service I received from one of the workers at this place. Me and my girlfriend had driven up from Bradenton to visit this store and grab some beer. We had seen a beer we had been searching for quite some time on a cart and asked the employee if we could have a pack of it and he replied I dont have it in the system and wont for probably another hour, sorry. and said it in a tone as if we were bothering him and he walked away from us. We also sat down at one of the tables in hopes to order some beer, but no employees acknowledged us or asked if we needed help. While I understand companies have their ways of entering product into the system, I do think it would have been great customer service to just ring one up for us, or at least act more polite. We do not know if we will come back again.
