I would like to share my very positive experience with Armored Dades installation of our hurricane screens. My installers were Casey, Corey and Patrick. They were extremely professional and clean. They were working on our lanai for three days and were very polite, neat and considerate. I appreciated their attention to detail and not resting until they had everything working in perfect order. May I add that we also love our hurricane screens. They are a great addition to our home. Not only do we feel more protected but the convenience of not having to remove all our cushions when it rains is a real benefit. Armored Dade was recommended to us by several of our neighbors and we will continue to recommend them to our new neighbors.

Unfortunately due to supply issues out of their hands, it took longer than expected to have my shutters in and installed. The installers Casey and Quincy were great, I will be going with them to have a new front door when the time comes. Thanks for the great product and having the feeling of security for my family.

We received several estimates from local vendors on installing an electrical roll down hurricane screen for our lanai, as well as a roll down screen for the sliding glass doors on our lanai. Josh impressed us as someone who was very professional and knowledgeable of the best products for our home. Any questions we had were promptly answered by him or Danielle. We had Armored Dade install accordion shutters in our lanai and front entry. They were easy to work with from order entry through installation. Their devotion to customer service is far above what we have encountered with other contractors. Danielle and Casey in particular did not hesitate to make sure we were totally satisfied with the job. We purchased storm/hurricane shades for our lanai to help keep out the rain, wind, and hot sun. The shades are attractive and let filtered light into the lanai but block high wind and rain. The ordering process was easy.Today Casey and Greg did an excellent job installing 5 panels on our lanai and we are very satisfied with their work and the quality of the product. The ladies in the office were responsive and helped me to understand everything. And Hunter who installed the shutters was courteous, and professional.

This company has outstanding customer service that works above and beyond on satisfying their customers. We had a few bumps in the road with the windows, which was the manufacture’s defect, but they made sure all was taken care of immediately. We are fairly new to the area and we needed some additional repairs to our home. Everyone they referred us to from the repainting of our home, instillation of a new garage door, and roofing have all provide us with premier service. This is a very honest and trustworthy company and we would highly recommend them.

This company was AWESOME to work as they performed at ALL levels: everyone I came into contact were Professional, courteous and knowledgeable! This theme repeated throughout the company: pricing, engineering, customer service and installers. Pricing was competitive and payment terms were exactly what I was looking. Quote was timely and I was quoted the windows would be in around 8-12 weeks. They came in in SEVEN weeks. Other companies quoted as high as 20-24 weeks! I worked with Darla, Customer Service, she was GREAT! I even went to the office and she taught me all about hurricane windows and how the process would flow. Her follow through and communications were impeccable, I always knew what was happening. Danielle did the scheduling and she was very easy to work and accommodated my schedule as I’m from Philadelphia and had to make arrangements to meet the installers. The installers were Tyler and Hunter and again were great to work with. They very considerate of the property: they had to take out 30 year old metal windows and it wasn’t easy! We are considering installing impact windows and doors in our home. In the past few weeks we have met with several local contractors to get information and estimates on having the work done. One guy never followed up with us, another gave us conflicting information, etc. Someone recommended Armored Dade to us, and after reading all the stellar reviews on Google and Yelp, we scheduled Josh Perkins to come out to the house. Josh is amazing...extremely knowledgeable, and took his time and explained the pros and cons of different types of protection, and what he thought would work best for us. We havent decided to proceed with the work yet, but when we do, Josh and Armored Dade would be the only contractor we would consider!

Its all been said before. Customer service, knowledge, responsiveness, courtesy and professionalism are all hallmarks of this company. I started with only 7 windows and was so pleased with this company that I just finished having the entire house covered with hurricane windows and shutters. From the minute we contacted the company every aspect was amazingly professional. We are novices when it comes to hurricane preparedness and the representative walked us through our options with clarity. We modified our quote twice and they were always very patient and understanding. The office staff was very professional and kept in touch with us at each stage of our project. The installers were equally professional and made sure they were on time and careful to inform us of the entire process. The process from start to finish was professional and very well executed. We recommend this company very highly and with no reservations. Their prices are fair and their people outstanding.

We met with Josh Perkins, the owner who is the GC, which made us more comfortable with the quote because we were not dealing with a sales person. Price was same as other quotes we received but we felt better about our meeting with Josh so we selected Armored Dade to do the job. We installed whole house aluminum hurricane shutters right before start of the season. Took me, a tiny 65 year old, only 25 minutes to secure the entire house which includes a twenty foot section along the back. We left on vacation knowing we got a good price, excellent workmanship and had done our best to protect our home. Last year it took two full days for my husband and I to put up the old plastic panels. We knew that was going to be last time we were going to put ourselves through that hassle. Great communication with Danielle Lambert, the office manager, letting us know when the materials had been ordered and when installation date would be.My husband and I have recommended this company to several of our neighbors who are also going to use them.Highly recommend.

The buying experience was great. The product was even better. But nothing can compare to the excellent installation and follow-up service by technicians Paul and Sean. These shutters will be used primarily to keep out sun, wind and rain....and the possible hurricanes.Cant say enough about the entire company and product.

This company was wonderful to work with. I am a snowbird so most of my contact with them, other than the initial measurements, was by email with an occasional phone call. Just as everyone else commented, everyone that I came into contact with was friendly and professional!! The accordion shutters glide smoothly and are easy to operate and the aluminum panels went up easily by myself. I am a 59 yr old female.Because I was out of town though we did run into a few snags during the installation that were handled by the company beyond my expectations!. I had changed colors on my order shortly after it was sent and it was early enough that the manufacturer had not started them so the color change was OK. Well, several months later the original (wrong) color was delivered and was already installed and it wasnt until they sent me pictures that I pointed out the wrong color. No problem they said! It obviously took longer to remake the correct color but it was taken care of without a problem. After the correct color was installed and time for inspection the keys to the shutter locks and inspection paperwork became misplaced. The company very kindly reached out to the manufacturer and reordered the keys and redid all the paperwork...all the while telling me it was not a problem. Finally, I didnt realize when I paid my balance by credit card that there was a 1.5% charge to pay by credit card. When I called to question the $50 charge added to my balance I was very politely told the 1.5% charge was posted on the bottom of my invoice, which I did not have in my hand because it was in an email that I couldnt find. I was told the charge was also mentioned in my original contract. I spoke with Josh, the owner, who offered me the $50 back anyway, even though there was two places that I should have seen that information. I told him no thank you to the $50 reimbursement and that it was obviously my mistake if there were two places I should have read it. Forward a month or so ahead and I am now visiting my house in Florida. I get a $50 gift card in the mail at the Florida address from Armored Dade!! He sent it to me anyway! The customer service is beyond amazing!! THANK YOU!!

Having seen a neighbors hurricane screen we decided to look into purchasing a screen for our home. We interviewed 3 companies and chose Armored Dade for several reasons. First, I like the fact that theyre a local, family owned company with nearly 15 years of experience. Secondly, reviews by other customers were overwhelmingly positive. Finally, Armored Dades price, while not the cheapest, was certainly competitive.Armored Dade worked with the homeowners association to gain their approval and took care of all the building permits required by the County. Armored Dade went out of their way to schedule the installation at my convenience and then arranged inspections by the County. Our installer, Paul, did a great job and was exceptionally neat. Afterward, he set up and explained how to operate the shades and even set up the apps on our phones.Throughout the process, Armored Dades office staff kept us in the loop with timely updates and was extremely courteous and helpful. A special shout out to Danielle who patiently answered all my questions and scheduled the installation and inspections.Most importantly, the screens perform exactly as promised and we are very happy with the product. I highly recommend Armored Dade.

They did a great job on the install. We were afraid that it would change the look of the house, but it blended in just fine. As with all large projects, there were some minor snafus, but Josh resolved them to everyones satisfaction. LOVE the electric roll-down shades on the lanai! Would recommend this company to anyone.

The initial visit from Josh was very informative and professional. All window openings and sliding door were precisely measured, He discussed quality and options, and I knew when I made my decision that it was an educated one. Installation happened within the timeframe quoted. It was an excellent installation; all windows fit perfectly, and when it came to the inspection, the Inspector remarked on a JOB WELL DONE! I highly recommend!

I have a stucco house built in 1926 which presented a lot of challenges mounting the shutter rails to the uneven texture. Armored Dade solved all the problems and made the shutter rails almost disappear against the white stucco. Im very impressed with them as a company; they followed through and kept working until the I was truly satisfied.
