My experience at this Walmart, is the final reason why my family will no longer be patrons of Walmart. The store has zero cashiers. They expect customers to do their job by checking yourselves out, but have more non working self checkouts than working ones, and the employees seem to have no idea how to assist customers at all. The customer Service is nonexistent at Walmart. The shelves are missing all sorts of items and the selection has gotten smaller as time goes on. The staff is either not knowledgeable enough to provide assistance, or they are extremely rude, if not both. There was no shopping cart in the store, every one was scattered all over the parking lot. The self checkouts were not clean, there was liquid and sticky substance all over everything. It was disgusting. I will not stand in line for 30 minutes to check myself out. I do not work for Walmart. Your prices have gone up and your workload has decreased, therefore I will never shop at another Walmart store. This was the worst excuse for a Department store Ive ever encountered. I am happy with the products and services I get shopping at Amazon.com. I buy groceries from.Winn Dixie. And have good service there as well.

They are always stocked, clean. Only bad side is you have to scan your own items. I do that usually do it doesnt bother me.

Good selection of fresh fruit & veges, except the radishes.Ive tried this change in radishes & do not care for them. Wish they could get the regular bagged radishes they used to carry. Got in and out quickly. Shelves well stocked (about 3:30 on Wednesday).

Stopped in for like two things real quick. They had what I needed, one of which was limes, what they had wasnt great at all but so be it. Walking thru the store as it appears they still have supply chain issues as shelves were sparse. I have noticed this at other local Walmart markets also. I didnt like that ALL the checkouts were self serve. No option for a regular checkout lane. Im fine with it, but some people are not meant to be in that situation and need a regular checkout. One person to oversee all self serve checkouts wasnt working, at all as three people had assistance light blinking and line just kept getting longer.Not my cup of tea doubtful I would return.

Great place to shop when I am busy! I grab fresh food items, pickup household stuff, doggie & guinea pig everything and my refrig./freezer stuff! Everything stays nice & cold as I leave the store reasonably fast.The grocery pickup on the otherside is really nice for my bigger shopping & heavier items.*Remember customers, ”wear your face masks” entering both sides of the service areas! Including vehicle customers while picking up your groceries in the grocery pickup line if your vehicle is enclosed! Please!Thank You for Reading!

I have been going to this store since they opened. I recently had back surgery and needed I needed a 24 pack of water. A vendor put the water in my cart. I told the girl monitoring the check outs that If someone would put it in .my car because I cant lift more then 10 lbs. Well the girl told me to find someone outside to lift it in my car. She said I cant leave and theres noone here to help you. I guess Ill have to find me a different store that actually helps the handicap. Very disappointed with this store.

Watch out.You been overcharged.Water $ 1.68 at Rollback big sign, $ 1.88 at register.Pork chops $ 3.97 / lb at shelv,$ 4.37 at register. Every time at every store.Systematically.Consumer affairs, inspectors are blind or....never shop at Walmart.Shame.

Good size store to get all your grocery and toiletry items. Location is tricky. Entrance and Exit ways from Rt 70 and Lockwood Ridge rd can be difficult.

It was a blast trying to avoid all the employees in the aisles clogging up everything......I thought it was about the customer?

Love the $1.99 milk and great price on eggs...keeps me coming back here as my main grocery store.

This is my store!! My pharmacy too!! Not too big. Not too small. Employees are friendly and helpful!! Bathroom is always clean. And they are Covid-19 cautious!! Great place to shop!

I only shop here for my medications. The Pharmacist Purita is top notch and the best at what she does. Dont go anywhere else.

Store was clean and,unlike many Walmart Supercenters,well stocked. Only thing missing was an associate roaming to ask where an item was. Had to search for the Venom Energy drinks,which website has listed on A22 and wasnt, myself. Then again I have heard that ALL Venom Energy Drinks are going to be hard to find in Manatee County.

Good spot to stop by on the go far less people then at the super center. Also less associates to ask for help and as almost everything is self checkout buying wine or beer is more waiting on someone to come help then usual. Still a go to for me.

Much better stocking merchandise compared to Walmart super store who is always out if things and has empty shelves. Had been that way since before covid.

Lower traffic compared to the big one. Usually have what I need. Mostly grocery but a small selection of health/beauty and home stuff. No clothes, automotive, sporting goods, paint, or electronics departments.Other than that its a Walmart. What did you expect?

Since when has a cat been deemed an approved or certified therapy animal???? They have an employee at the entrance, so why were 2 customers allowed to carefully position their cat on a baby seat in a shopping cart and just go about their shopping needs. My wife and I are confined to home due to the virus. We were depending on our neighbors to do our food shopping till we were told we could order on line from the small Walmart on 70. It was the best experience weve ever had shopping.

They most always have plenty of inventory, the staff is pleasant, but I would like to see the aisles/floors a little cleaner.

Its a great neighborhood market. Small enough to be super convenient and large enough to have most of everything you need. The staff is always friendly and greets customers. This is a very pleasant place to shop.

I’ve been shopping at this market sinceTheir opening. There are a couple of women that work behind the desk, that desperately could use some customer service instruction. To grab a Clorox wipes out of my cart as they’re walking by, saying something about “there’s a limit of ONE” nastIly scolding as she continued to carry on shaking her head, is just, well basic rudeness. Calm down, no one committed a capital crime! Try a little niceness, it goes a lot further than does rudeness with your customers!

The flowers need to be sold fresh, the ones I bought died within 3 days

If you need food and pharmacy items and want to get in and out fast, this is a good place. The prices seem consistent with the big store near my house and even cheaper in some cases. Self checkout only though this time. But very attentive assistance with it. Friendly staff and a good experience. Ill be back.

This Walmart is great, Ive been going there ever since they open a couple of years ago. I love the fact that it is never crowded compare to the Walmart down the street. The options sometimes can be limited since it is just a neighborhood Walmart, but it still great and I love the fact that they are open until late and open again early on the next day.

Nice people, clean. Remember, its not a superstore, so it doesnt have all the retail items. But as far as groceries go, this Walmart MarketPlace exceeds expectations!

The operation mgr, Rich is friendly, helpful and follows though with what he says. He is one of the best in a management position that I have ever dealt with. If you need any assistance athis location, you can count on great service from Rich.

Came with my little sister I am 23 years old for groceries I had some alcohol I was asked for my ID. Ready to comply I had my ID pulled out already. I am her legal guardian I was not allowed to buy the alcohol the manager was the rudest I could imagine anyone being told me if I were to come back she would not allow me to buy. I don’t expect much for Walmart but it was boarder line embarrassing I left my groceries. I’ve NEVER left a review ever on anything, that is how embarrassed I was. When I asked for customer service she said she was customer service when I asked for a manager she said she was the manager. 6:15PM on Saturday March 21st 2020 white bigger female. Disgusted.

The place where you can always go dressed in your shorts or comfortable pajamas to get any food you may need. This place is it!

Worst Walmart ever. No selection, no cash and seniors running into you and cutting in front of you and rude.

Terrible. Long lines at the mandatory self checkout and one cashier finally opens up. They expect you to check out your own stuff and they keep raising their prices on top of it. I am done with that had to give it at least one star to get published.

This is an outstanding place to shop for groceries. Its a even better place to stop for your workday breakfast and lunch, you can pop in around 730a and grab everything you need for your work day and be out in ten minutes as there is hardly anyone there first thing in the morning.

Very nice & convenient pick up location. Not sure what the kid’s name who took care of our order but very nice! Wish tipping was optional because he was a very nice guy! Very pleased with our first pickup. Will come back to this location again.

Live the prices and relaxed feeling of the store layout. But, I dont want to work here need to have cashiers . When you dont, dont harass me on my way out checking my receipt and accuse me of stealing. If you want accuracy provide employee s to cash out. I wont be back.

Love this small market. Great to grab things in a hurry. Wish they had better bargains on bulk purchases on fresh fruit & veggies. They would rather throw food away than sell bulk as a last stand for we who like to make jams, jellies, or freeze to save it from spoiling.

Really nice Market. Compared well to Publix. Prices are good. Nice selection of food and products. Staff was wonderful. Always ready to help, and they would ask if you were finding everything and wish you a good day. Not the easiest getting in and out of during peak traffic. They honor the Walmart Savings Catcher receipt process as well. Low stress shopping and Walmart pricing.

Love the WM Neighborhood markets! All the low prices of a supercenter without all the crowds, parking issues, and weirdos. Also, it is much easier to find staff members here versus the larger stores and they are much nicer and more knowledgeable. Produce is fresh and if you take the time to look around youll always find clearance item in every department.

Love this little Wal-Mart. Easy to get in and out. Parking is close.... You dont have to walk 5 miles to get into the store from your car. Aisles are clearly marked, quick, concise easy to get to and find the things you need. Mostly all self checkout, but plenty of available so you can get your items paid for quickly. I typically make it in and out of that store, get the items I need and Im back on the road within 15 minutes.

I visited the pharmacy and the general grocery sections of the store. The pharmacy tech could not have been more helpful in coordinating the refill of a much-needed prescription with another store that was out of stock. I will definitely Return To The Neighborhood Market, as it has that small town grocery field and an outstanding level of customer service.
