Suggestion: employees should advise if you stick a rebate in my bag, I almost threw it out and had I known about it before I left the store I would have factored in that rebate and purchased a second of the product during that trip, I ended up purchasing the next from another store out of convenience instead of utilizing the savings at your store.

Horrible experience, 1 star too much credit. We are out of town 3 hours away, my wife has some kind of reaction and her eyes are swollen and irritated. She’s 7 months pregnant, so she’s uncomfortable and emotional as it is. The prescription was called in at 11am. These guys close at 5 so we hustle to arrive at 4:15pm, just to be told they cannot fill the prescription today! Not only that, WE could call tomorrow after 2 to see if they could tomorrow.I don’t know where to start, how about common courtesy to call us at some point today to say you cannot fill the prescription today? You don’t need an extensive training in sales or customer service to have that type of aptitude, but today i learned there are these types of low levels! The girl on the drive thru didn’t want to deal with us, passed us to the guy there who told me the same thing. I calmly explained to him what i said to her, and my confusion as to why someone wouldn’t let us know hours ago, that way we could call and get the prescription sent elsewhere in time before other stores close.His response was “it’s Sunday so you can’t expect us to get a prescription if we don’t have them in stock”…i had to talk slowly so he could understand the main frustration was lack of communication because now you left us with 30 minutes before other stores close. Again he had an excuse and not a solution, saying the automated system was to blame because it doesn’t always go through…no sir automated systems are MANUALLY controlled by a person, you guys messed up and won’t take ownership or figure out an alternative.He spent the next 15-20 mins making excuses and telling me I’d have to call tomorrow. Meanwhile my pregnant wife is crying in hysterics as i told him this isn’t acceptable, she went to an urgent care because this is urgent, you need to find a way to get this filled somewhere else or give us an alternative.Finally, he said the 24 hour store on bee ridge (25+ mins away) would have it. I asked him can you please make sure it’s ready for me to pick up at least. He told me he wouldShocking end to the story, but of course it wasn’t ready and they didn’t have it under my wife’s name or have our insurance updated. So basically the guy just wanted to get rid of me and didn’t even fix his mess up. I had to spend the drive giving the much more professional woman at bee ridge my info, insurance, etc. they had it filled in minutes and my wife got the automated text saying it was ready (amazing how it can work with competent employees on bee ridge compared to the clown show on Lorraine)All in all, do your dang job. The first girl looked like she was in her early 20s and didn’t want to deal with our “inconvenience”. She passed us to the guy who was an excuse machine. You tell US to call you tomorrow at 2pm, a full 24 hours after we put in the prescription, all because YOU didn’t call to let us know it wasn’t going to be able to be filled. This store had 5.5 hours to notify us, we show up to the surprise. You caused my wife unnecessary stress and grief, besides wasting our time and your own. Instead of doing whatever you could to make it right, apologizing, and finding a solution, they spent the time telling us there’s nothing they can do, they can’t make it magically appear. Clearly there’s ALOT that you could have done better!I hope someone will read this from higher up and train these 2, maybe send them to bee ridge and the woman there can elevate their incompetence. Unfortunately, people either care or they don’t, and these 2 clearly were ready to leave at 5pm instead of helping us…so they’re probably a lost cause

I do not have enough praise for Robin in the pharmacy! What a caring person she is and knowledgeable. Took the time to explain that yes indeed my diabetes test meter and strips were covered by Medicare part B and my supplement insurance. They have the means to bill both and my test strips cost me 0.00 out of pocket. Avoid CVS at all cost (Honoree and University) they will not take the time to bill your supplement. Want you to pay out of pocket. Kudos to Walgreens, Shame on you CVS!

Love the staff here! This store always has what I need. Amanda was very helpful! The pharmacy staff could use a bit of customer service skills. But otherwise, I would recommend this location.

We go to Walgreens probably three times a week. The staff is always friendly and get to know you to make your shopping experience pleasurable. The store manager even donated to one of our local fundraisers. Great people. Thank you.

Be careful if you get your prescriptions filled here. This pharmacy is error prone. Over a short period of time on two separate occasions they billed our insurance incorrectly. We had to spend a lot of time getting them to fix it (theyre difficult or refuse to address over the phone). On another occasion they made a dispensing error by only giving us half the quantity of the medication we were supposed to receive (we had to push hard to get them to correct it). We will now take our business to a different, and hopefully better, pharmacy.

I had one of the most uncomfortable interactions with an employee/pharm tech named Irene, I believe. I went to pick up my prescription, and was *literally* yelled at because I forgot to refill it online... Im not normally one to call out anybody on their performance at work, but considering this wasnt the first time Ive experienced such imprudence with her, I felt something had to be said.

I came in the other day for some basic grocery items. I had called to see if they had Lemon Juice in stock, in which Mike the manager said oh yeah. sure and then hung up. I came in only to see that there was no Lemon Juice. Taryn was rude as well. Disappointed. Not so friendly neighborhood walgreens.
