We had a fantastic experience with this company. We’re first time home buyers and had a desperate need to replace our carpets quickly due to pet dander from the previous owner (severe pet allergies here). Not only were they helpful when picking a carpet out, but they were reasonably priced and were able to install in a timely fashion (for us, less than week when others quoted more than a month). Our installer was super friendly and communicative and went above and beyond. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work he did. After reading reviews that so many other companies lately have been failing to meet demands and expectations, we were extremely grateful and pleased to have had such a pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be using them for our future flooring needs!

Today I called up to Georgia Carpet and Floors to ask if they could recommend anyone to stretch carpeting in a 5 year condo were in the process of purchasing. Greg highly recommended someone and after 1 call we were good to go. Since were new to the area, weve never had the chance to deal with Georgia Carpets but our first experience was outstanding and we look forward to working with them in the the future.

I went into thestore yesterday to look at flooring to see about getting a bedroom and bathroom done. I wandered around the warehouse not knowing what the heck I was looking at. There were 3 people sitting at a table and said hello as I got closer to them as I continued to aimlessly walk around. When not ONE person asked if I needed help or could they help me with anything, I walked out. I guess theyre only interested in wholesale and not some old lady walking around the store.

Why this exact store attendant refuses to use a mask and help me with my shopping needs? Acted as Covid does not exist ?? Well, no other choice.. I must leave.. Very disappointed, wont come back ever..

Remodeled our home.....long project ...went to mike at Georgia carpet world like we have for years. Mike hooked us up with the most gorgeous silver grey Shaw carpet. Also got a great deal on a matching waterproof floor for the kitchen and foyer. This is the go to place for all your flooring needs. The customer service, installation and quality of product is light years ahead of the competition........You will never beat their pricing anywhere... I would give them 10 stars if it were available.

We were very pleased with our entire contact from.beginning to end. I liked the fact that Debbie let us take color samples home to look at. We needed to get carpet installed in our condo as a condition of sale. We were under a very tight deadline, and Georgia Carpet World worked with us, and with our potential buyers, to get a carpet selected and installed in time for the closing. They were courteous, professional, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The installer came out on a weekend to do the necessary prep work, and did a great job installing the carpet. Excellent experience from the moment we were greeted until we settled on the carpet we wanted. We came in looking for a remnant, but they cut a piece we loved from a brand-new roll and sent it out to be bound for us. The price of the carpet was excellent and the binding was very reasonable. The whole deal was less than we could buy a remnant of similar size already bound when we looked at other places. They were very clear about the cost of the carpet and the total price for the whole job. We chose to pay for delivery and loved the advice we got from Aaron when he delivered the rug and explained about the floor in our living room which needs a little special care. I recommend them and would gladly use them again if I needed more carpet or flooring.

I have to say all flooring stores hire pros, but Georgia carpet world is at a whole new level. The floor installers were suppose to come in and be gone by 130 pm. They had so many things go wrong, not because of them but from the people they were doing the work for. For one example people walking through their glue, while waiting for it to dry, more than 3 times. Along with other things that made them so far behind. They kept great attitudes and were there 6 hours longer than they planned. They still did the jobs like pros even though they could have cut some corners they did not. How I know this is because I stayed with them for the rest of their day trying to help them as much as I could. But of course as all great customer services would do they just told me to relax and not to worry about it, they had it. I still stayed just because they were such cool guys I am beyond impressed with their work and, what is getting even harder to find, their great customer service. No doubt in my mind I will be calling them for any future floor jobs that concern me.

This was a great experience carpeting a commercial building. The price was good, service was excellent - they were very accommodating getting is in the schedule asap. The end product looks great. Would definitely recommend!

I had to go all the way around the building, it was quite a ways from the front of the building. Then through the dirty warehouse to finally to the counter. than back out the same way.

Georgia Carpet helped my grandmother thru the entire process of getting new carpet. They showed her tons of samples, even let her take samples home to see what color and feel she would want. The installation went quick and smooth and her new carpeting turned out fantastic!

We went in for carpet on our rental...we looked at a berber but it was too rough for our tenants baby...so we settled on a different one that was a little more but was worth it, they sent out installers to measure and when we called them they gave us a final price....two days later my husband went to pay in full and was told by the woman that originally helped us that the better carpet that was softer has since then been sold, we had even bought paint around the color of this carpet. So they basically SCREWED us and her attitude was oh sorry. I would not buy carpet or flooring from this company if they were the last carpet company in the state of Florida. Their customer service sucks....or shall I say their LACK of customer service. Buyers beware of their selling tactics!!!!!

I have hesitated leaving a review for months, but I have hit my breaking point. I had carpet replaced a few months ago in two rooms in my new home. The initial install went fine in one room, however in the other room it was a disaster. We first noticed that the installers had broken a can of carpet glue and it proceeded to get all over our new tile floors and out our entryway ( a good 20 feet of tile). I am still finding spots to this day that I cannot get off the tile. They never mentioned this to us, we found it in our own. They also spilt glue in between the carpet and sub floor which caused the carpet to stick when walking on it. They came back pulled the rug up.....and proceeded to dump a whole container of gold Bond powder in bewteen the carpet and padding.....yes gold bond...I had powder EVERYWHERE!!! This didnt fix the problem. They came back and put in brand new padding and carpet but I noticed that the first time they pulled the carpet up, they butchered our baseboards, brand new baseboards at that. I bit my tongue because I was over it....but the new installer pointed the baseboards out to me. This gentleman was very kind and helpful, unlike the first two gentleman who stormed out of my house and got very nasty with me. I even told him that he was making me very uncomfortable in my own home, he later apologized while he was in the room and I was halfway across my house, he yelled out to me, maam I apologise for how I spoke to you and stormed out of your house....wow. I am to this very day moving furniture around in that room and finding big spots of carpet glue on my walls, covering the closet mirror doors, not to mention my busted baseboards. Never once did I get a follow-up phone call after the final installer, never once did I complain about the baseboards, never once did I ask for or recieve any discount. But the fact that today I have found yet another spot of glue...months later..Im over it. I have never posted a review, good or bad, for any business, but today I had to. Please look elsewhere for floor installations and save yourself the stress and headache.

The installersD did a poor job with laying the carpet and took too many breaks. The carpet was cut to short and did not abut against the wall. Leaving a noticeable gap between the kick board and floor carpet. One area the installers put a piece of carpet behind the kick board in order to met the short carpet. Leaving a noticeable bulge of the kick board. The kick board was not completely attached to the wall. I complained and the assistant manager with a offensive, (punget smell of cigerattes)reviewed the carpet and said that is normal way of laying carpet-you are going to have a gap. Then he sent the same installers back who did not do the job correct to begin with. Finally another installor corrected what he could on the kickboards. The second installor could not do anything about the short carpet. The first installers D where late to begin with on Saturday when I went without breakfast to open the doors for them. Then the first installers took long breaks and left early Saturday evening. Return Sunday after church at 2pm-only to take a break for hours at Dinner time.The quality of the carpet was okay, but the workmanship was very poor! We are still finding areas of poor installation.
