Given we live 3 hours away from Cox Mazda, most of our deal was done over the phone and via text before we arrived. We were so turned off by a few of our local dealers, so started researching other dealers that had the car my daughter wanted in stock. We found Cox Mazda and decided to give them a call. Mark was my first point of contact, and from the get go, made everything extremely easy. He was so professional and accommodating during the entire process. From the first call, there was no doubt that Cox is where we would be going. Mark made this deal happen for my daughter and she is so excited with her new Mazda3 hatchback. We all know that typically the entire process can be exhausting, but that was not the case. We made the drive from Jupiter, arrived at Cox, and were gone in about an hour! Mark also took the time to sit in the car for quite a while and show my daughter all of the cars features and explained them in detail. No matter where you are, make the drive, go see Mark and you will be so happy you did!!

UPDATE: Kelly Cox came through! He honored the 90 day warranty and refunded the money I paid to repair the timing chain. I appreciate them doing what was right!I recently purchased 2013 BMW X3 from Cox Mazda at the beginning of July. My 1st test drive a warning light appeared. I wasn’t going to purchase the vehicle but after the service department found the problem I was promised it issue was fixed. Test drive again and all seemed fine. A week after purchasing the vehicle the light came on again. I proceeded to file a claim with the 90 day warranty company, who stated they have not received any such warranty. I contacted Cox Mazda, was told they sent the paperwork over and to wait a week. Waited a week and the warranty company still doesn’t not have the paperwork. A rep from the warranty company stated they only need to file it on line. I just want to get the car repair that should be covered by the warranty promised however all I am getting is a run around.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with the way this situation was handled and am so happy I went to this dealership over the one closer to my home ! Cox Mazda made this the best car buying experience Ive ever had!! They have a wide selection of vehicles, and each staff member I dealt with was knowledgeable and not high pressure at all! My salesperson, Issac Martinez spent well over an hour sitting in the car with me (on his day off), setting everything to my preferences, teaching me the features, and answering all my questions. I cannot say enough about the knowledge and professionalism he exhibited. So many other dealers Ive dealt with over the years have talked down to me as a woman buyer, but not here! Issac followed up with me the next day to find out how I liked the vehicle, and to let me know hes available if I have any questions. I highly recommend Issac and Cox Mazda. Well worth the trip into Bradenton. I absolutely love my 2021 CX-5!

If you’re a girl looking for a tire to be changed after purchasing one and the actual vehicle from the dealership don’t bother going there Jason Curry just threw mine in the back of my truck and told me to go find someone to put it on for me. Now I’m riding around on a spare another day. The tire was supposed to be put on at 2 yesterday and never got a call until 5 o’clock while at work. Was told to bring it in first thing this morning and because the guy I was working with at first wasn’t available this Jason guy decided he was going to tell me that he couldn’t do it and he would not give me an estimated time or offer a call to come back and do it. Whenever I asked for an estimated time that’s when he told me to basically figure it out myself. The supervisor doesn’t answer the phone either.

I had a positive experience with Jesse and Sales, but the experience with Finance was negative. I declined all of the extras (extended warranty, maintenance, tire and wheel protection, etc.) and the Finance Manager’s attitude quickly shifted. He was rude, condescending, and merely there to make extra money by selling worthless extras. Instead of selling a genuine Mazda Extended Warranty (which do exist), they are offering and selling a marked up aftermarket warranty. In addition, I have excellent credit and the “best” rate they could offer me was 60 months at 4.65% through Ally. Yet, they are advertising 0.9% via Mazda Financing on their website for the same vehicle (make/model) I purchased. I did not ask about the offer from Mazda since I will be paying off the loan as soon as I receive the information and I wanted out of his office, but definitely something to be aware of if you purchase a vehicle from Cox Mazda. I also made a point to let him know I’d be paying off the loan entirely after seeing the awful loan terms. FYI, I previously owned a BMW and I had a 1.74% rate through my Credit Union. All I can say is BE CAREFUL and be prepared to experience the same in Finance.

The absolute best Mazda service center in the Tampa Bay area. Theyre thorough, fast, and in a recent case of my own were willing to do a warranty repair where a rocker panel cover failed due to normal vibration where other dealers insisted it was impact damage. If I have any option, I always go to them for service, and I plan to buy a car or two from them in the future because their stock is kept in much better condition with none of the careless paint swirling I see on otherwise brand new cars at other local dealers.

Highly recommend Cox Mazda. Tim was the best! I was a first-time, single female car buyer and had already been to a couple sleazy Miami dealerships. When I found Cox Mazda on Autotrader, and they had the exact model and color Mazda that I wanted, though it was 4 hours away, on the other coast of Florida, I was desperate. In need of a car that weekend, and at the end of my rope frustrated with the sales schemes and shady tactics from the slimy salesmen/women in the Miami area, I gave them a call. In order to appreciate how good Cox is you need to know what I was dealing with in Miami. The Miami area car sales men and women didnt listen to me, they lied, and wouldnt provide me anything in writing or printed. Most of them didnt even have the cars that they had advertised on their own sites. Nor were their prices on the cars in the lot or printed warranties when you arrived. They were like, so, you saw it, you drove it, you want it? At the end I was just telling them all to screw themselves because I was a serious buyer and they were treating like a child. They changed their tune as soon as I told them I was ready to go with Cox Mazda because Ive got a printed quote for 20% less than what they were offering and had already put a deposit to buy the car next day. The Miami dealers began begging for me to come back, promising that they would give me a better deal, free oil changes, blah blah blah. But still nothing in writing, of course. Even when I was offered a measly $1k lower quote from a dealer 30 min away, I went forward with Cox Mazda anyway. Mostly because I didnt want to reward the Miami losers for being so sneaky and shady, but also partially because Cox Mazda provided a top level experience from our first phone call through til weeks after! Their customer service is one you would expect probably from a luxury import car dealership. I felt that they were organized, professional, honest, understanding, knew their car inventory and car specs inside and out. No games, no lies, no tricks, scams, bait and switch, just what you see is what you get, and let me tell you all about it. It was worth the total 8 hour drive to purchase the car through them. The amount of communication and use of text, email, and phone was perfect. I put the deposit down the same day I spoke to them over-the-phone for the first time, and bought the car the next day, because I got such a good, unexpected feeling from their customer journey and touch points. I was right about the feeling because they sent me a thank you note a week after with chewy chocolate chip cookies. How sweet! Thank you Cox Mazda and Tim for being great at your profession and an exception to the industrys stereotype! Everyone buy a car from Cox! (Look at the cute bow they offered to take photos with!

Tried making a deal on a used car, salesman told me its an AS-IS car, but that Im not allowed to have a mechanic look at it or test drive it outside the parking lot. Running a sketchy and scammy business is all I can say and will never get my business. Hopefully, you dont buy a lemon from these guys and get screwed. Good luck!

We took our new CX-5 in for oil change and tire rotation. The actual service seemed fine. However, later in the month, while driving cross country in the middle of the night, the service reminder began flashing. This was kinda disconcerting because of the time and our location literally in the middle of nowhere. After pulling over and checking the manual, we discovered that the service technician failed to reset the reminder when the oil change was complete. This probably isnt a huge deal in and of itself but it makes me wonder what else was forgotten. For the significant cost differential between Cox and regular oil change places, I would expect Cox to really be on top of things. I doubt I will return. Ill go down the road to a regular place, save $40 and reset the reminder myself.

My experience at the COX Mazda was outstanding. I have bought many cars in the past but hands down this was my best experience. Everyone was friendly..( coffee machine was awesome) and the place had a very professional atmosphere but welcoming at the same time. The best part of my experience easily goes to my sales person, Stephany Delgado. She was so helpful and applied zero pressure. She really wanted to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. Even after the sale she sat with me in the car and made sure I was familiar with everything before I drove off. She was awesome but guess it did not stop there. After being raked over the coals, they didnt even have the common decency to give me a free T- shirt.I called and made an appointment for one of my complimentary oil changes and i was met with a rude and condescending service guy. Purchased my first MAZDA ever yesterday, the CX-5 Gand Touring. Everything about this deal was the best experience ever in purchasing a car. The COX website with the vehicles listed, the MSRP and the internet pricing makes car pricing as it should be. Once I priced out my vehicle, Stephany Delgado contacted me and we discussed the deal. Her manager, Antonio followed up with me later and we set an in showroom appointment. When I arrived Antonio was outside, greeted me and my husband and inside Stephany joined us. There was no haggling, I was pleasantly suprirsed that when we got there there were no surpirse hidden fees. In fact, they helped us greatly as I thought I would have to return my RAV4 lease to Toyota in 2 months when it was due. Antonio worked with us and took the lease in so we dont have to fuss with that. By far this was the simplest, most straight forward, friendly and honest car buying transaction I have ever experienced. I highly recommend them. And - the CX-5 totally outshines the Toyota RAV4. Im so pleased with the vehicle, the quiet and smooth ride, the features, etc.

Just a few months after I bought my new 2018 Miata, Id told Cox that if they had a particular color of Miata come in, I might be interested in trading just for fun. Salesperson Stephany Delgado remembered that from few months earlier and emailed me when they had one like that coming, even knowing that I was just sorta maybe thinking of trading. I didnt think trading would be financially sound (I mean, just to change color?!) but I sent back my preferred terms and within a few emails we had the deal done, easy breezy! We signed the papers electronically and Stephany even delivered the car directly to my home so that we could stay COVID-safe. I HATE buying a car in person, I HATE feeling like Im being upsold or tricked, and I HATE waiting waiting waiting while some finance person takes a look. Ive only had good experiences here. The staff has been friendly and attentive. They understand Im on a budget and dont push me to get unnecessary repairs. They work with me on what I can do and when I can afford to do it. Highly recommend if you own a Mazda in the Manasota area.

I have owned a Mazda for 10 years now that I originally purchased from Cox Mazda. I received a recall notice from Mazda and scheduled the appointment for the work to be done. I was able to get in the next day and decided to update my oil change at the same time. I felt that the charge was very reasonable for the oil change and tire rotation. They were extremely professional and efficient. I also took a little spin in a new one. I will be purchasing my next Mazda from Cox Mazda due to their service and professionalism. Not right away, but in the near future.

The techs and service writers are good, Mazda parts departments everywhere seem to never have that one part on hand. You can expect them to have the most common stuff such as tires, wipers, bulbs and fuses. This fact alone may stray me to owning another make. My 2013 CX-5 failed in the brakes department when I needed them the most. I believe my Anti-lock mechanism kicked in too soon causing a collision a year ago, I needed my wheels to lock up, but how do I prove it? I noticed a Porsche equivalent to my vehicles size and it had bigger brake calipers and shoes. Has anyone else ever noticed this behavior of their braking system?

I had the pleasure of picking up my new 2016 Miata Club on 9/19 and I couldnt be happier! I contacted Carl Carpenter looking for information on when one would be available. He told me one was on the water and he kept me in the loop as to when it should arrive. We worked out numbers before the car arrived, and they had the best price around! When I came to pick up my new car, everything was exactly as we discussed and very stress free! Carl made sure to take the time to show me everything in the new car as well. Rob Sanchez in Finance was also great. He explained all of our options on protection plans and was not pushy at all. He had us all wrapped up and on the road in no time! My boyfriend recently was on the look for a car: good price, reliable, good on gas, as any car shopper wants. We had originally intended on a possible 1990 Chevy Lumina, but it unfortunately had too many issues being an older vehicle. Looking this past weekend, we were still looking for a car for him that was affordable. As we passed the Cox Mazda dealership, he said he wanted to go in and check out their options. He loves Mazdas and was hoping to get one for a good price. The gentleman who came over to help us originally was Jeff, and we both had a good feeling about his attitude from the beginning. Most car salesmen are so pushy and untrustworthy with their words that I honestly thought it was too good to be true. Fortunately though, Jeff was very honest with us from the get-go. He was very helpful in finding a car that my boyfriend could not only afford, but love as well. The entire team over at Cox Mazda were extremely pleasant to be around, especially being car salesmen, and their attitudes never once changed from the moment we walked on the lot, to the time my boyfriend drove off. He now owns a 2010 Mazda3 in wonderful condition, and that was all thanks to this amazing team. Thank you Cox Mazda!

Im disappointed with the customer service I received when I found I received the wrong part even though the parts department verified the part I received does fit my car. The part I ordered was described as FILTER, OIL. OIL FILTER and was a suggested item for my car when I was placing an order for maintenance items. I double checked the part number and description to make sure and it showed it fit my car and was the oil filter for my car and it looked right to me. But instead I received two little screens for the VVT system, hardly a normal maintenance item. What am I going to do with two of those until possibly 200,000 miles a and the system needs a repair?Im sure Im not the only person this has happened to given the description and that this was a suggested item on the website when I was ordering. The person I spoke with in the parts department when I explained what I was looking for sounded like he had heard this before and was uninterested and just referred me to the green sheet of instructions with a 35% restocking fee and shipping them back at my expense when I feel they should not have been suggested as an oil filter for my car. And now Im stuck with buying the right filters at full price.Theres a way to fix this so this doesnt happen to customers in the future, and not lose another, and a way to handle a customer who tells a customer service issue on the phone and keep them loyal. I would love to give them a good review but my experience was not a good example.

Tooling around in the second car Ive purchased from Cox Mazda... I have a Mazda dealer that is closer to my house but I will happily drive down to Cox to deal with them... and more specifically with Carl Carpenter. My family is in our third Mazda - I learned during the first car that not only does the car matter, but so does the dealership. Everyone at this place is friendly and NOT PUSHY. Carl keeps me in his thought processes - he would contact me periodically after we purchased my husbands Mazda3 because I told him when the time came during the next year to replace my Mazda5, I would be coming back to Cox and to him because it was a joy to deal with someone straightforward who gave us a great deal. I asked him to follow up with me to keep me informed of incentives on my model.... guess what? He did what he said he would!When I had a question about a change in the power window function, he didnt just tell me that was normal, he admitted he wasnt entirely sure and would get back to me after speaking to the service manager the next day. Guess what? He did what he said he would.Thank you to the entire Cox Mazda family. And especially to Carl.
